Jon and staff are amazing. Especially Terri, she is so patient and helpful. As a new business owner, they have coached me through the process of properly submitting my taxes-federal, payroll, and sales taxes! I couldn’t have made it through the past 4 years without their guidance! I highly recommend their services!
Jon and his staff have been taking care of my books and taxes for years. I’m so impressed with the level of professionalism. They have helped me to organize my books and as a result I have been able to grow my business.
Bottom Line has been tremendously helpful to me over the years. They have certainly made my life as a business owner much, much better. I let them handle the accounting and payroll so I can run my business! I find them to be forthright, well organized and pleasant to work with.
As a small business owner they have helped me tremendously. I can’t sing their praises enough. I highly recommend them. They have spent many phone calls and in office visits explaining the laws in terms anyone could understand. I’m thankful I have them to lean on and my business has gained so much from them.
Do yourself a favor and do not do your taxes in this business and are extremely rude and unprofessional. The place looks like a kindergarten instead of a professional environment because the employees have their kids there crying and screaming and the employees are always eating at their desk while working (there is a thing called lunch break). This review however is not about that, it’s about how extremely rude and shady these people are.I did my taxes there for the 2015 season and they were nice and only charged $75 and I got a small tax return but I still went with them the next year because that was the first time I ever did my taxes and if went well (or so I thought it was relatively cheap) 2016 season rolls around and I take my taxes with them and they tried to charge me $200. They never told me that they charged me $75 because I was a new customer and the next time would be different. According to them my check was supposed to be $400 and they were wanting half of that. I tried to understand them and reason with them but they were extremely rude to me when I asked them to explain to me why the prices were different. I took my boyfriend with me because I couldn’t understand the passive aggressive cashier at the front about independent and dependent and he understands more than me because he’s done this for years. It got to a point when my boyfriend asked to talk to the manager and she said “Ms. Debbie is no longer talking to her (me) about it because she tried to explain it to her and did not understand” My boyfriend tried to remain calm because although this woman was being unnecessarily passive aggressive she is a woman and demanded to speak to someone else. They had to bring in a male employee to talk to my boyfriend about it and he was calm about it and explained it clearly, professionally and cordially. However, they did not give me my documents back nor did they offer to give them back or tell me “you can take it somewhere else” or “you have until April to file “ and i forgot about filing my taxes for 2016 because of my hectic school and work schedule and drama. Fast forward to today 2018 and I am doing the taxes for 2017. I decided to file my taxes with H&R Block and they did my 2016 taxes and 2017 taxes separately. My tax return for 2016 was $1,776 NOT the $400 that BLB claimed it was and I only paid $180 opposed to the $200 they were charging me.Moral of the story: don’t go to them, go to H&R Block on TX Avenue, they are extremely professional, nice and explained EVERYTHING in great detail unlike the women that work there.
Debbie and her team have been fantastic to work with. We were referred due to her knowledge in our business, and its been so easy, even being out of state.
BLB has been great for my business, they are very versatile and have been able to help us out with taxes, a little bit of payroll, and even some special reporting necessary for our specialized work.
