I suggest reading the poor rating reviews and their managements responses then decide. I was mostly happy with their service for the year and half I was using them to maintain my pool but when things went south they went there quickly. As long as things are going well they are responsive and attentive but when they arent they take no responsibility and become dismissive of their customers. They go back on their word. We had our pool resurfaced a couple of years ago and a large hole developed along with numerous pits in the plaster and instead of honoring the warranty they gave us, they said it was something WE did. Looks like to me, either 1. Shoddy workmanship 2. Inferior products used or 3. Theyre just trying to get out of fixing it as promised. It was a 12k resurfacing job. To say Im less than happy is an understatement

After using another pool service for 10 years, we became exasperated with their very low threshold for customer service. We flagged down a Jeff’s tech who was servicing a neighbor’s pool a year ago, and are COMPLETELY satisfied with their service.Visits are consistent, last about an hour, and the pool is well cared for!

Quoted one price never got the pool.right. sent new guys. Then when we did it with a real company we got the pool color right. Even sent it to a collection for money not owed. Even called and apologized for the inconvenience and said there was a credit. Year later sending it to collections when they never finished the job. For 125. The pool was just as cloudy as it was when they started. Bad enough paid and didnt do the job but them sent it to a collection agency.

I spent almost $1000.00 in one month to have a green pool with black algae. I found another company for a fraction of the cost. My pool was crystal clear in the first week. Jeff’s pool was always friendly when I called but they have staff who don’t care about service. If you hire this company make sure you can be there when they come for service calls.

Have a wonderful experience with Jeff pool and spa. They did a beautiful job with the new liner, I would recommend them to anyone one. The gentlemen’s who put the liner in were very professional in all way. Answer any questions that we had. Clean up after theirs self and stay until everything thing was up and running. Disappointed with the workmanship of the finished product, sloppy work, their work ethics, and would not recommend them to anyone. After resurfacing & refilling, I was charged for several visits for more chemicals & cleaning when it wasnt finished due to leakage. I was told not to run the Polaris or do anything to it for at least a month & until they could find the leak. It was leaking, and I was billed in addition to our agreement to find the leak. The light was working before the leak was repaired. Then the light didnt work after they found & fixed the leak in the light fixture area, so I was billed to fix the Leak & the light. One would think after a company has resurfaced your pool you just paid $16K for that it wouldnt leak and the light would work when they got done and not have to pay to fix the leak, the light, chemicals, & cleaning in addition to what was agreed upon. It was at least another 2K+ and 2 extra months of B.S.No thanks, never again.

These are the most helpful.... polite.... and professional men I have ever had the privilege of working with..... they respond to your needs and are always available to help you.... we have ordered our spa from them and cannot wait for it to come in. Looking forward to working with these folks again in the future.

I have relied on the services and expertise of Jeffs Pool Service for 10+ years because of their customer service and continued flawless execution in providing regular maintenance and service and/or replacement of key pool components. I have regular pool service with Jeff’s. They always show up and our pool looks great. Anytime we have had an issue they speak with us before making any expensive repairs.

After dealing with another contractor that did an awful job with several items in our pool installation, Jeffs Pools came out and refinished the rough deck into a deck I can walk on in the color I wanted, tiled a stone border, redid the trim above the tile, repaired the stone on the waterfall...the list goes on. The finished product is AWESOME! They even suggested and completed a few extra reparations after the job began without charging me more. They were VERY professional throughout the entire process and made sure everything was exactly the way I wanted it in each step! I HIGHLY recommend them and will certainly be a return customer in the future

The best pool store in the area that Ive found! I go into the store with my water sample and they test everything for free, give me a computer readout, and pretty much give you any information you want so that you can do it yourself. They even gave me a video link for how to do s simple repair myself, when they could have easily told me that a pro needed to do it and I wouldnt have known any different. I feel like I need to tip them every time Im in there because they are so helpful. Go in and see for yourself.

Very good pool service! Appointments are kept, pool is cleaned thoroughly and they have been very pro-active in keeping algae from blooming. Prices are comparable to other area services.

Terrible customer service and reliability. Started off good, but then they did a cleaning and did not let us know that there were issues that needed to be addressed to run our pool pump. After several calls to have someone come back out and no one showing up, the pool turned green and they charged us to fix it then they continued to charge us for services we did not know we had agreed to and would not fix the issue when we called. Will not be using their services again.

Two retail stores in Camden & Glynn with the largest, most friendly, professional staff in the area. They are the only pool company that is BBB accredited and has things like a quality control department. Half of the other pool people out there arent even insured. Definitely the best.

STAY AWAY! Numerous calls placed due to pool not being clean after cleaner left. They did correct after complaints, more than once. Charged additional $$$ after hurricane Mathew moved through the area, called to inquire why thinking it was an error, was told that the Owner told the book keeper to charge EVERYONE across the board an extra $10.00, which I disagree with as my pool was no dirtier than it was before the hurricane which meant no additional time spent on my property. I requested on three separate occasions to speak with the Owner Jeff, first I was placed on hold for 3 minutes and she returned and told me he was in a meeting and he would call me later that day or the following day, no phone call. I called again and asked to speak with him, he was unavailable, the third time I called I was told they would make sure he got the message and I never received a phone call back. Additionally, his cleaner came to the house on one occasion and when he was about to leave was asked why he did not test the water and was told that it did not need it that the water looked good. After that the cleaner did test the water and add chemicals. After complaints they did send out a Quality control guy who seemed empathetic and sent out a different cleaner who did a good job. My issue is with the Owner, if he cant return calls, makes a stupid decision to just charge extra because of the hurricane coming through with a total disregard to the condition of ones pool and time spent on the property, with no explanation included in the invoice, and used my chemicals to treat my pool, why am I being charged the additional $10.00 Its the principal that irritates me and the fact that I am still awaiting a phone call from Jeff. Another lost customer and I will share my thoughts accordingly. Run and Stay away! Not worth the time nor the aggravation. I guess the comments are true, Jeff is unprofessional, rude and arrogant. What a sad way to run a business. Pitiful.

I used them to try to repair my hot tub, (The thermostat didnt work, and there was a leak) It didnt get fixed and then when I called them back outthey charged me for a second service charge. While the techs were very courteous, these issues still exist. I would not recommend a company that does not fix what they charge for or stand behind their work.

Best pool service in town! I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to get the pool needs dealt with.

They do not stand to there work, my above ground improperly installed, liner removed 3 times for ground repairs and its my fault the liner is leaking at seams and has holes in it, skimmer was glued in with glue all on the liner, vermiculite was added around sides which punched holes in liner and thru pool wall. When called were very rude and loud and made out to be my fault, was told the would repair for $1000.00 Due to there inexperienced workers I am paying the price,by the way this pool was set up in 2015

The staff is very knowledgeable and efficient. The store has a very wide variety of chemicals and parts. I cannot think of another pool store in this area that can match what these guys can accomplish.

Worse customer service possible. Technicians did not show to appointments on time. Over charging for items not approved. No picture proof of services provided due to us being out of state as requested. And refusing to change over charge fees stating they would force us to pay for items not approved of.
