A good place to workout and at the same time learn self defense, build up strength and self esteem. Im very particular with cleanliness and this school is definitely clean, the mats are sanitize with bleach and doesnt smell at all. Our family have been going there for 10 years with good results and earned titles. All I can say for those 2 reviewers who gave only 1 star to this school -- get a life, review yourselves if you have contributed something in this ATA world before you guys say something negative to this school and stop wining. And by the way if you wanna be a black belt, earn it and not buy it
We’ve gone to this ATA location for about 4 years and have had a wonderful experience! Mr. Hauskins does a great job understanding what your child needs and then works with them on development. We’ve also taken advantage of their summer camp program which my son loved every year! I highly recommend for any families that are interested in trying it out!
This place is great! My son and myself have been here since 2015, no complaints. Anne Fields is lying every one spoke to her including myself in fact I speak to everyone that will hold a conversation with me. The school is welcoming to everyone and hosts an annual holiday party this is a great place to teach your children life skills and for them to make friends. They will help you as much as they can in regards to fees and supplies but this is a business and all businesses are there to make money.I stand behind this school and all my children will attend as they become old enough in age. The leadership program under ATA allows children and adults the opportunity to teach and practice under the instructor which is Mr. Hoskins and he teaches every class I mean every class. If you want private instructions You chose who you want to take them with.Again great school!!!Anne you are really to old to behave this way, there is no clique not “click”. Also we are in our early thirties and you are almost 50 much to old for our supposed clique smh so there Anne!! Some people just don’t appreciate nice folks
My family (myself, husband, and 2 boys) has been attending ATA Generations since 2012. We drive 19 miles one way. And I dont regret it. There are closer martial arts schools. But we wanted an ATA organization and this is the best one in the Indy metro area. What I love most about ATA Generations is that you can participate at your level of comfort. Whether you join for some physical activity for your health, self defense skills, or you have a competitive nature and you have World Champ goals, ATA Generations can meet you right where you want to be. Its more than a martial arts school though. Here, kids learn discipline and self-control. They develop confidence in themselves. They set goals and achieve them. They learn to respect others in a way our modern society no longer values. The school seeks to maintain a strong connection with the local community also. We have hosted a wellness and safety fair. We opened the doors to the public for a Safe Halloween alternative to trick-or-treating. And we regularly participate in the local Brownsburg parades/community events. (Not exactly the actions of unfriendly, clique-ish people.)Its the best value as well. The unlimited classes is a huge improvement over the per-class charge of most other martial arts schools. And aside from tuition and the required gear (uniform, safety gear, and the weapons we train with), no additional expenses are required. None. There are opportunities for additional experience/training that do come with an additional cost, but no student has ever been required to participate in any of these. That said, it bears noting that we have a strong showing at tournaments and nearly every training seminar held at the school is sold out. If its a rip-off, a lot of our students/their parents are falling for it. Repeatedly. Year after year. *shrug*I havent regretted my decision to join ATA Generations once in our 6+ years here. I would recommend it without hesitation to anyone.
Super great place! Coaches are knowledgeable and fun. Very welcoming to new comers while keeping a very family like atmosphere.
ATA has been a fabulous fit for our daughter. She is now 8 and started when she was 6. It has been a great fit and watching her confidence build has been great! Thank you for all you have done for our daughter!
I had been searching for years to find the right fit to continue my Taekwondo training. I am so glad we found ATA Generations! Adam Hoskins and his sons are excellent instructors and willing to go the extra mile to teach what they know. I cant recommend them enough. If you are thinking about martial Arts you should give ATA Generations a try.
Great place for family building. My boys have learned so much and gained so much confidence in themselves. Would definitely check this place out if you are looking for a martial arts program.
We love Mr. Hoskins and Maria. They do a good job of making everyone feel included, while giving each student personal attention. Our son has really grown and matured while under Mr. Hoskins instruction.
Wonderful place to learn grow and learn. One of the few sports that the entire family can participate in together. The instructors are very good! We were always top ranking in local and national tournaments.
My family has been attending ATA for about 2 1/2 years now. It has been a wonderful place for my boys and I to learn martial arts. Its not only a great place to get some exercise....we have made some life long friends in their truly inspired FAMILY environment. They are always willing to help us out whether it be with tournaments, discipline (ideas for approach) or even just a chat. I cant say enough good things about the schools and staff. We recently moved and will be attending the Brownsburg location more and the same positive environment holds true. I would highly recommend any of the 3 locations!
I live in Florida and trained at this school for a week while visiting IN. They were very welcoming and accommodating to my needs! Wish they were located here!
RIP OFF Report!!! I spent thousands at his place! The owner is not friendly at all unless you are spending money. I have walked into and out of her establishment for 2 years and every time she is behind her desk she doesnt say hello or goodbye...The odd part about it is that you are supposed to be learning respect. But she and her kids arent even doing it. I am always the one saying Hello Maria, etc.. Go figure. I have literally heard people swearing at her because of all the HIDDEN FEES she doesnt tell you about when you sign up. Get ready to spend ALOT of money!!!!!!!!!!!! AND I MEAN ALOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did and in hindsight the whole experience pisses me off. Oh, and dont expect a Thank you, ever. I never heard Maria say this to me the entire time we were there. Yet I paid her over and over and always said Thank you to her and all she would do is go Uh, huh. Not even Your Welcome. She should have been thanking me! After awhile I stopped saying it to her. Ugh!!!! She also has a clique and if you arent part of it (which she decides) she Maria-the owner will never come and talk to you or be nice to your kids. She will ignore you like the plague... Also, If you dont mind her kids teaching the classes (11 and 15 years old) most of the time, then I guess youre good. Mr. Hoskins (her boyfriend she calls her husband) is the instructor. He is great and very nice. He is an EXCELLENT Instructor....Actually, one of the BEST... My 4 kids learned a lot from him. One of my kids even made it to Districts in Chicago and placed 3rd among 20 other competitors. Yet Maria couldnt even congratulate her for her accomplishments. So Sad. Oh yes, one more thing here....If you see other kids advancing quickly its most likely they are getting preferential treatment. Unfortunately not all are treated the same. Hopefully you wont fall into this category if you join. My family was cheated out of belts that they worked hard for and deserved and told they would receive. Lastly, She hates most females (except ones that are not that good looking) unless they are paying her money and even then, she doesnt like you. But she loves the color of GREEN Money and flashy credit cards that have unlimited balances. Cause thats what you will need for this place. Just my two cents....which is all I have, after joining this place. ALSO..... anyone commenting on this review are part of the clique....you will see all their comments posted within hours and days of this posting. Many of them work part time for the owner and get reduced tuition..... To all others.... Do yourselves a favor and put your kids in organized school sports.. Thats what we have done since this FIASCO....Our kids have flourished!!!!! If not, I sure hope you have deep pockets. Dont say I didnt warn you.
Adam and Maria have been great to work with. Couldnt be happier with the program and instruction theyve provided over the last 3 years.
Our kids have been going for 5 years to ATA. ATA teaches a lot of skills not only Taekwondo but, how to be a leader, be respectful, and speak up for yourself. We tried other places but felt like the training was more elite here. It is a family business and I love that! Mr. Hoskins kids are very respectable, knowledgeable in the training, and great with a wide range of Tiny tigers to Adult classes. Mrs. Maria and Mr. Hoskins lead in a way with their children like they do each of the students here. It is hard to be a role model but these boys know that eyes are on them and not only are they helping the family business but maintain their grades as well. I would rather see the boys instructing the next generation then looking down on at their phones. The nice thing about this school is that you have 5 days to get to class and hit a time slot. If you have more then one child then they have a rate that includes the whole family. Some people have 1 and others may have a family of 5. Where can you go and include everyone at different ages. By the way, every sport has a gear cost whether it is football, baseball, or Taewkondo. You must protect yourself with proper gear but that is a given.I would recommend this school.#familybusinesses#smallbusiness
Lol... these new fake reviews are too funny. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂There are others who have left this place due to the politics, favors, odd behaviors and excessive fees..Pay to play.....But to each his own.....
This is a great school with a great training program. They have provided my son with a great deal of confidence and enthusiasm for Tae Kwon Do. You will be happy to join the family.
