We are extremely happy with Davey Tree we have been customers for 20+ years and would recommend them to everyone. The tree expert is always willing to come out and even offer advice over the phone and evaluate our trees and recommend all the options for our tree health. They have done everything for us from pruning, removal, watering and insect deterrent. They are bee 🐝 friendly 😊 which makes us happy. We have a variety of trees spruce, maple, ash, pine, aspen and cherry and they keep them all healthy.

They were great. They cut 3 pine trees down at a good price. The crew were respectful. I would recommend Davey Tree Experts anybody that want trees cut down they did a good job. Im still waiting for another estimate two more pine trees hopefully hell do it for a reasonable cost again

It has been a pleasure working with Dave Kaplan for many years. I trust his guidance and value his assistance. Have had several plant and tree issues that have been satisfactorily resolved. Routinely, I have them do fertilization to all plants and trees in my yards. My maple has been undergoing chlorosis treatment for a few years and is doing well.

These guys are nuts and great at what they do. I was constantly amazed at how well they cleaned up afterwards. Trees had dead branches everywhere before, but now they look really good. The cost is definitely up there, but these folks were also the lowest of 5 bids.

UPDATE: We had Davey back to remove a dead tree. They were fast, professional, liked their jobs. They were respectful of our property and cleaned up all of the debris when finished. All three workers smiled and waved goodbye! I will definitely call them next time I need tree service, and I have already been recommending them. ** Mike was friendly and professional. He removed our tree with care, making sure not to damage the shed beside and below the tree limbs. There wasnt even a twig left in the yard when Mikes crew finished cleaning up. Highly recommend.

About two weeks ago Davey’s tree service clipped many dead branches off of six of our Evergreen trees. They did such a good job our neighbor came out and had him do eight of his trees at the same time. Personally I think it’s some of the best service I’ve had regarding yard/tree work. They were on time, professional, Knowledgeable and overall a really great experience

The entire crew from first contact to finished product were courteous and professional. They are the kind of people you would welcome into your home. The price was very fair as well.

They came out and gave us a quote. We were good with and they said they would schedule us mid July. We had not heard anything on a schedule. We are now in August. We have call them twice. Talked to one person they gave us another persons number to call, left a message, still no call back. Called again left another message, still no call back. We hired any other company who will do the job cheaper and who will be here tomorrow.

The staff are friendly and communicate well. Staff showed up to our home on-time and completed the job. Our 2 Junipers are located in front of our home and they look much happier since being pruned. Thank you Davey Tree staff!

I received a call the day before work was to be done, My apple tree looked fantastic and even in the snow the cleanup was perfect. I asked for the big wood to be left, they even stacked it!

Davey Tree did an absolutely great job with my tree removal! Same day quote, very resaonable. They were here the next morning, in rainy, crummy weather and the 2 gentlmen made quick work of the tree removal. They blocked the wood up for me to keep and did an excellent job of cleaning up the area of broken branches and twiggs. I will recommend their services to all family and friends. Also look forward to doing business with them again in the future! Plus most importantly they were very safe with working with clients during this whole Covid-19 nightmare, they took precautious efforts to get the job done PROFESSIONALLY! Thank you!

Davey gave me advice to spray an Aspen for aphids in August, and I did. Soon after, two other highly regarded tree service firms told me not to treat for aphids in late summer. I gave Davey a two star review because of this, but am now upgrading because their arborist, in response to my negative review, has given me a detailed evaluation of the tree and its prognosis. Only time will tell who is right (one of the other tree companies condemned the tree), but I am pleased with the response from Davey and therefore think that they deserve a higher rating.

Fully equipped and totally experienced

Gentleman came out for initial call and appeared knowledgeable and was going to send us some basic information and provide us with a plan for caring for our trees. We did not receive any information via email and they did not contact us. I left a message after a couple weeks asking if they forgot us and still wanted our business. Guess not - did not receive a call back.

They did a great job and were quick and efficient!

Their knowledge of trees and their tree trimming was excellent. They told me I would receive a credit on my bill for a referral fee. When my bill came there was no credit and I was told that the credit could only be applied to future work. I was passed back and forth between the local office and corporate with no one owning the decision.There was no mention of this at the time I hired them. I think this is a misleading business practice.

Incompetent and UnresponsivePoor communication between their district manager Kevin Marks and his crew resulted in my Cherry Tree being trimmed incorrectly. Our written quote was to trimJUST THE DEAD portions, but the crew trimmed nearly all that was left alive. Our tree will no longer produce cherries at a height that we can harvest.Contacted Kevin Marks multiple times over a two month period. He did come out to look at the work, but never responded as to how they might rectify the situation.Asked for his manager but was told he was the district manager so no one higher to speak to.Terrible upset with what they did to our tree and lack of follow up service.

It took 6.5 months from when I asked to schedule pruning and cabling to having the work finished. On initial visit, only part of the work was done, and I had to complain to get the job finished. I cant comment on quality of work since I dont know much about trees, but another company thought the pruning was done poorly and the cabling was attached with lag bolts instead of a bolt through the tree.

Wish i could give a review but after several calls and voicemails, Carl never answered his phone or returned my calls. Jeff did my initial estimate and was knowledgeable, too bad he no longer services Arvada. Going to use Arborist Alliance instead-they are very responsive.

Like in a previous review, someone came out about a month ago and said hed send me a quote via email that day. Never got it. I have contacted the manager, the receptionist twice, the guy who came out, as well as sending several emails to the company - no response. I shouldnt have waited this long, its getting too late to treat my trees this year.They finally responded and gave me a discount, so am increasing rating from one to three stars.

Because theyre the best!
