I highly recommend Code Blue! We are a small business, and there is not enough time in the day to keep track of all computer related issues. We called Code Blue in the heat of a ransom wear virus, and Bill came out within the hour to help us. He made sure we were safe, and then set us up with remote monitoring, and we get monthly reports on how all of our computers are doing. I found Code Blue with a simple Google search. When I read their reviews and saw the business they were dealing with, I was sure I was going to be too small a potato for them. I decided to give them a call because they referred to themselves as a mom/pop shop. My wifes laptop needed more memory, and Apple said it was too old for them to work on it, and good luck. Then, my daughters Dell died, and she was hoping to salvage her music and pictures; Best Buy was willing to look at it for $89. My wife was without her toy for one evening, and my daughter now has all her files neatly wrapped as a new external drive. They are happy, and I am happy because I did not have to go into my savings. And, we established a connection to Arvada High School. Finally, they are literally a mom/pop shop - their kids are, I think, 3 and 4; when do they find the time to work?

I was having major problems with a fairly new desktop computer running very slow. I tried everything I knew to help make it run faster but to no avail. We are new to Colorado and called a friend for a referral for someone who knew computers. We were referred to Code Blue Computers. We made the call and scheduled an appointment. Bill showed up right on time and began looking at my computer. In about 20 minutes he could see that a certain anti-virus program was slowing down the computer quite a bit. He also found the computer only had 4 gigs of memory. He recommended a much better anti-virus program and to upgrade the computer memory to 16 gigs. I took his suggestion and he downloaded the new anti-virus software. He also found many programs running that were using a lot of power to run the computer. After some deep digging in the computer, it ran much faster. A week later Bill returned and upgraded my computer and my wifes to 16 gigs of memory. Both computers are now lightning fast and no problems.For Bills time and new parts for the computer, his final price was very reasonable and his work was very thorough. Incredible Service & People!!**I want to note that we found Blue Code Computing as they had the most (and most positive) reviews in the area. It seems they might have lost the review history when updating their Google Business location**Unfortunately, I spilled soup on my business laptop on a Friday evening. The laptop was stuck in a reboot loop. I had not backed up my data and was a nervous wreck.Most businesses were closed or closing for the weekend. My boyfriend found and called Code Blue Computing and spoke with Bill. They were in the midst of moving to their new location and it was a few minutes before they closed, but Bill still offered to take a look at the laptop Saturday morning.We brought the laptop in Saturday. They were working on unloading moving boxes, it was Easter weekend, and they are generally not open over the weekend. In spite of all of this and a stripped screw on my laptop, Bill took care of it before the weekend was over!Unfortunately, my laptops motherboard was not a fan of soup. However, they were able to recover and back up all of my data. They did this, over Easter weekend, for a very reasonable price.I did not get the names of the other owners/employees, but all were incredibly kind! Fast and friendly service. After my laptop crashed, the external hard drive - to which I had all of my files backed up - decided to not be accessible. I have a ten year old iMac that was pretty much unusable as it was so slow. Code Blue ran diagnostics on the computer and did some clean up plus they installed a solid state drive. The computer is now flying and performing like new. It cost about $400 - a lot cheaper than buying a new one. That will have added 2 years at least to the life of my iMac! Nice job guys!

Code Blue was able to take in my daughters laptop, remove all 53 viruses and install a virus protection that I trust will work. In addition, I learned that my own virus protection is likely not working so I was able to go to the Code Blue website and download the same protection for my own laptop. The AVG software was able to identify and remove 13 threats from my laptop so I hopefully dodged a bullet there. They are conveniently located and I really like knowing they will be there when I need them again. They are an actual company versus the individual who works from home and says they provide services (like the guy I paid last time to remove viruses and who recommended my non-working virus protection). One of the owners profusely apologized for my experience and she insisted it was not typical of their company. Seeing all the 5 star reviews (what made me choose them in the first place) gives credence to that claim. However, the dishonesty I encountered is worth mentioning to the public. Buyer beware.I dropped off my laptop with only a broken hinge that was otherwise fully functional. I was given a quote of over $300 for the repair, which exceeded the cost of the machine. I told them I supposed I would need a new computer and was immediately offered a $125 service to transfer data, which struck me as exorbitant. After being out of town for a while, my husband picked it up and I received the laptop with a diagonal fracture through the entire touch screen. This of course, rendered the machine unusable. When examining the crack, it became plain to see that it had been dropped on the right corner and it was very, very likely that the original quote was either meant to include the price of the broken screen on my dime and/or dissuade me from repairing it at all.When confronted with the obvious facts that he further damaged my machine, failed to inform me and gave it back without even acknowledging what hed done, logic did not persuade this man to fess up and be fair. Only after a screaming match with my husband did he concede to covering the cost of the touchscreen and labor. And in the end, I paid for my broken hinge, because I am an honest person. But this owner had to almost be forced to take responsibility for his mistake. Now it is having an entirely new problem booting up since I got it back, but I am taking it elsewhere for service.Buyer beware.

I have an old PC thats been in storage for about 3 years, but I suspected there were trip and family photos on it still. I went in with a problem about my computers performance do to my gpu that could have been caused by overheating or software. It cost me $100 for them to install free software, state that the benchmark fps was 20 (which is very bad), de-frag my harddrive and recommend my purchasing of a $330 ssd 1tb drive.
