I did an application here which I knew I was gonna be denied due to credit, but the $300 deposit you pay up front to get back from application process I’ve still not gotten back. I’m very frustrated that I have not gotten the deposit back & it’s been two weeks now. Ive called, left voicemails & emailed - no response. Super unprofessional to ignore someone especially when it’s money you guaranteed would get back to me. I could use that money right now for groceries, gas etc. unhappy with the service here.

Currently living here for 3 years and its been horrible from the start, from the roaches being infested in the hallway complex too the dirty halls and roach and mice infested apartments Ive had roaches in my apartment for 3 years from one they send the same company to handle the roach problem. Let alone it takes 3 to 4 days sometimes for them to even send anyone to do anything! Theyre money hungry and try to find any reason to charge you for anything, my son had a roach crawl in his ear and recorded it coming out of his ear nothing was handled in a professional manner afterwards. Even random nights you will find people sleeping in the halls or the stairs towards the apartment halls. They are not professional what so ever, I have multiple videos of roaches being in my apartment and in the public hallway. Also people here love too steal packages and as you can guess nothing gets done about it.

My boyfriend and I lived here June 2019-2020 and we were satisfied with it for the most part. Units are large and shannon is friendly and helpful. Any issues or concerns I had she answered promptly. I would disagree with any reviews saying she is rude, as this is not the experience we had. There are some residents who did not follow community guidelines as stated in the lease, which can be a pain. Property upkeep seems minimal, but most issues with our own unit were addressed sufficiently by the maintenance man, who is also very friendly. Not bad overall, but property upkeep could be better and they could be better about enforcing the rules with residents. For the price it is fine.

I went in for a two bedroom and Shannon went way over beyond to help me and my children!! She is caring and so understanding! Thank you for listening to my story and willing to do what ever for me and my children to have a home! I seen multiple units here and they are nice and very very spacious. When ever they have a two bedroom available I would love to be their next tenant!! One again thank you Shannon your the best!!

Shannon is the worst property manager I have had since my 8 years of renting in Minnesota. I have lived at Earl Brown for almost two years now. My first year, Shannon sent me eviction letter every month to my door for not paying my rent after I had deposited my check into their account the first of every month. Then, I will have to take a time off work to face her in the office to address the issue because before I leave work, the office has closed. She will then apologize saying that it was a mistake. This same mistake was done more than five times till I made a call to Steven Scott property that manages Earl Brown to tell them how tired and fed up I was from Shannon’s behavior. They communicated with her and she paused that. In just few times, Earl Brown stopped during in person rent payment and now online. I was happy about that thinking that I will not go through this again. I created an account on their website instructed by them and activated automatic payment. My account was charged every month without problem for like 7 months. January of 2020, Shannon just wrote me a letter threatening me eviction that i missed my rent and need to pay immediately with interest. My current account balance in my checking account attach to my rent account is $6000 and my account remains the same and no changes have been made. I’m just tired of this woman and regretted why I moved here. Moving could be my next option right now but, moving damages a lot of personal stuffs and takes time. Of all the places I have lived in Minnesota, I had never experienced this before and urge everyone of you reading this to never make an attempt to move here because you will regret this !!!!!! I now get to take off work again to meet her in the office to rectify her mistake....

*POTENTIAL RENTERS BEWARE* This apartment building is nothing like the ads. I had an appointment today at 9:30 am. My husband and I arrived at 9:25am. There are no signs that say where the office is. So, I called the phone number to find out where it is so we wont wander the property, being respectful of the people that live here. Anyway, no answer. We spot a resident in the parking lot and asked her how to find the office. She was very nice and pointed it out to us. We enter the office door and the office manager is in with another person chitchatting, she asks are we here for the showing. She then asked us to wait out on the bench. This is where everything went wrong. We sat on this bench for 25 minutes waiting for her to come show us an apartment. She never did. During our wait we got to see some issues with the place. A resident was trying to get in the door but couldnt he got frustrated and said ugh, broken again. Making me think the upkeep is very good. After 20 minutes of waiting in the stuffy hallway, we decided to leave. We waiting an hour for her to call and apologize and offer a reschedule. That never happened. Thats when I discovered they truly do not care. So I wasted my time and gas driving 30 minutes to wait in a hall. I would advise others to take caution with this place. Apparently they have no problem wasting peoples time and money.

Money grubbers. Now they want to charge $25 for a lost visitor parking tag and $75 for a lost key yet your able to come and dump whatever garbage, furniture or tires on the property that you want. I watched a u-haul pull up to the dumpster the other day and tried calling the office but the never answer the phone. By the time I parked and went to the office the manager was just sitting in there. The cost of this additional dumping is obviously being picked up by the tenets. Every year they say they are going to trim the trees yet that hasn’t happened. I’m sorry Ted but they are not taking care of your property
