Mostly its just awesome to have an ice cream bar on a college campus. Stopped by for some of that iconic cookies and cream, and while it wasnt miles better than any of the others Ive had, the experience of getting it at the place it was invented is awesome.

Enjoyed the day with my granddaughter and took her for an afternoon treat ! Great ice cream as always.

I love the SDSU Dairy Bar!! Always so many great choices! My personal favorites are Cookies N Cream, Chocolate Pecan, and Chocolate Carmel Revel.

What a joke. We all love SDSU ice cream! But the fact that you can’t take your family here to enjoy it when they visit you on the weekend is just ridiculous.

This is certainly some of the best ice cream in the state, if not the country! SDSU makes it on-sight, and its so creamy and flavorful. Their hours are kind of tough (not open evenings or weekends), but get there when you can! Its a Brookings must!!

Great place on the South Dakota State University campus to get ice cream (made on site) with several flavors to choose from. They also sell coffee & other beverages, scones, etc. You can also purchase cheese, ice cream, & jerky there to take home. Great little spot! Enjoy!

Reasonable prices and very friendly staff. I havent tried the ice cream yet but the coffee here is great. Theyre very fast in getting your order done and often will have everything made for you before you even finish paying! Lots of seating as well, which makes it a great place to study between classes.

Love the Dairy Bar! Best place to get ice cream ever! There is lots of seating, a fun aesthetic with cows painted in the wall and you can see the dairy plant in action. They also have coffee and other light fare. A little something for everyone! They also have new ice cream flavors quite regularly and they are all so good!

Great ice cream! The parlor is well kept and has lots of seating indoors and outdoors. The staff is friendly and speedy. Definitely a great price for the quality of ice cream.

I was so happy to be able to stop in again while on a Midwest Adventure with my husband and boys. The ice cream is very good. Almost as good as Howling Cow from NCSU! Lots of construction during our visit but that didnt stop us! Just follow the orange detour signs and youll find it.

Went while on a field trip, and this was the best ice cream Ive had it a while. That, and also I bought a brick of cheese out of temptation and peer pressure, but it was so worth it. The smoothies were lacking but are still refreshing.

The ice cream was delicious and affordable. It had a modern feel and was very clean. I love that you get to sample different kinds before buying anything. Yum!!

The students working here are super friendly. You can get 1 scoop of delicious ice cream for only 1.09$. Each scoop adds slightly less to the price; the 1/2 gal ice cream container is 9$. A Java city is also built in at this location serving various coffeesGo Jacks!
