Great concert venue. Small arena but perfect for Brookings . Friendly staff. Only downer was drinks light on alcohol. Paying high dollar prices.
Willie Nelson was as ever, spectacular. The sound guys at swiftel center cut the audio for a full 2 minutes of the show and the spot light guys main job it seemed was to blind the bloody audience every 30 seconds. Wish I had seen Willie in Bonner Springs instead.
Big thanks too the Swiftel Center for hosting a poker run for disabled veterans. Its a great place to hold an event.
An intimate concert venue. Not really a bad seat in the house.
Was here for Willie Nelson show. Good time, decent place.
Great place, but parking isnt the best.
I got both of my COVID vaccinations at Swiftel Center. I so appreciate all the volunteers who made the POD happen! Very organized and smooth!
Great place.to hold events. Very clean and neat. Great staffs!!
I attended swiftel center to get my covid-19 vaccination. I cannot say enough for Swiftel for allowing Brookings Health to conduct this POD. Swiftel deserves 5 stars for their community support!
Always great place only 1complaint is if I show up in the morning with a good cup of coffee I should be aloud to keep it especially that early
Great fireworks show!
Excellent place and staff. Top quality event facility.
I only come here 1 or twice a year for pool tournaments but the staff is friendly and courteous most the time and experience is usually good! Food and drink are kind of spendy so I would recommend eating before you come!
Great Show!
Good event center. Nice space. Always feels clean and well-maintained.
One of the friendliest and most professional staff Ive ever worked with. Highly recommend them for an event
I love the swiftel center!! The staff there is so amazing in what they do and if you ever have any questions they are always happy to help
Catered dinner meal delicious. Added craft and domestic beer taps at a reasonable price. Staff were infectiously happy and Ashley B is phenomenal.
I was here for work, it was a fine venue. Lots of capability to host a wide variety of events. It is clean and well maintained, though their parking lot entrance may- or- may not be a one way ( depending on the day)
Went to a wedding here! Very nice venue!
Large, nice parking with campground that has electric. New.
Doobie brothers had great sound. Nice staff. Fair prices on drinks.
Great place to host a large event. Had a steel bridge competition here for regional engineering universities and it was run smoothly. The food is about on par for other convention/event centers.
Was here for an outdoor event. They did a good of spacing the event. Well managed. The only downside, not enough port a potties. Ive been to a few concerts inside, and it is a great venue to watch shows.
My son and I went and saw Nelly. General admission. Eventually got into the VIP area. I believe management started handing out VIP wrestbands to get ready for when Nelly got on stage. Security at the place leaves a lot to be desired. It was an all age show. All ages showed up. From 12 - 50. Im 47 and my son is 20. Did I say security was quite a bit lack luster? Yeah, security was not impressive at all. But I was very happy to be hanging out with my son. He had a good time so I had a good time.
Intimate concert venue. Floor seating/standing is best for concerts because most seating are on the sides of the building which is great for hockey but stage is in front for concerts so you have to turn forward. There is a section in back that faces the stage but its miles away ;)
Attended Shinedown and Godsmack at the Swiftel Center. This was my fourth time seeing both bands. I have seen them perform both indoors and outdoors and this by far the worst show I’ve seen. Everything was on point but the venue. It is terrible for concerts. The sound bounced from wall to wall like rocks being shaked in a tin can. There is no sound absorption or acoustic control. You could see that the lead vocalist was singing but you can’t understand a word said. I fully understand these bands are loud but I’ve never left a show early because of poor sound control like I did last night. I’d highly encourage you to look for other options if you’re looking at attending a concert. Take the time and make the 45 min trip to Sioux Falls and see the show at the Denny Sanford Premier Center. You’ll thank me later.
Such an incredible facility and the staff is second to none. Thank you!
We attended the REO and Styx concert here. Other than the long lines getting in and having to stand out in the cold everything was good. The seats were fantastic we were about 5 rows from the stage. It was amazing the sound was good and the atmosphere was good also. The seats were pretty close together so sometimes felt like I was sitting on my neighbors lap but most of the time we were standing so not a big deal
Awesome as always!
Home Free was excellent all around, but especially the bass and percussion singers.
We were at Swiftel for a Home Free concert. Very nice and comfortable venue.
It has rodeos, concerts, expos, etc. Theres almost always something cool/ fun going on.
Beautiful place, love the design.
Small venue makes for a good show. The seats are very comfortable. Saw Homefree here a couple weeks back. Drove up from Sioux Falls, and it was well worth the trip! Will be returning!
Awesome place for darts!!
Nice meeting rooms, and food.
Smaller place. Very comfortable seats. Not too hard to find a bathroom nearby or even an exit
Generally clean facility, that offers a variety or entertainment throughout the year. Convient atms and decent concessions.
I went to a Godsmack concert here. The venue is a really nice size and going through security is very fast and easy. This place has all kind of events throughout the year, and even an ice rink
Very intimate venue to see big name acts. My husband is in a motorized wheelchair. They are very accommodating and we get great seats.
Well I work there so its good. And even before I worked there its was a blast to do anything here!
Very clean, polite and helpful security and staff. Great food. Beautiful facility for the event we were there for.
Karla, Jeremey, and Ashley are great at providing space for even little events. They dont make the little events seem little, they treat you as an important group. And the facilities are top notch.
Great arena to see a concert. Very clean.
Very nice venue.. The concession lines were very long. Maybe think about opening more.
Great seats. Handicap parking was not available because of all of the snow. Otherwise, loved the facilities!
Have been to a few concerts here. Tonight it is Jimmie Allen, Granger Smith, and Kane Brown. Always a fun and great time!
Always very clean, friendly staff, and well maintained! We enjoy the events thats Brookings hosts here
It was awesome! Would be back there soon!
Great entertainment venue for all types of occasions, from concerts to socials to receptions to expos to festivals. Never had a bad experience.
Good venue. I like variety of events. Healthy food options would be appreciated.
Conveniently located. Seats are very comfortable. Sat in the seat for a long time a d did not feel uncomfortable.
Not a bad seat in the house, and you can see a concert here it is so worth it!
It was very easy to find with lots of parking. The staff was also very helpful and friendly.
>Im feq-z
The State AAU wrestling tournament was being held, great venue for sports events or concerts.
Awesome small venue. Sound isnt the best in building but you can actually see the band youre listening to.
Nice place to see or have an event.
Great place nice place for gun show
Love having a large facility to have fun options for families to attend.
Had a great time at uncle Sam jam!
Great place to attend an event at. Very clean and friendly staff.
Awesome sound quality. Not usually sold out shows
We attended the Dairy Fest here. The building is very nice and clean, even with large family attendance.
Had fun
Their orginal parking lot needs to be bigger, had to walk.a good distances, thank goodness it wasnt any colder
Great staff .nice facility ...good times
Many good events happen here
Nice open area for events like the Dairy expo or the home show.

Never a bad seat when you go to a concert.
Great venue! Park next to the exits and go the back way out.
The firework display was awesome.
Loved having Youth State Wrestling there!
Great venue for the Dakota Royal Charity Draft horse show
The place is ok. I dont really like it as a concert venue though. It can be very hard to find parking and leave the place after an event
The center was very clean and well air conditioned.
Nice arena for events. Very easy to get to.
Spacious and fun!
Its getting pretty old. The concession prices are pretty good though.
Family gathering fantastic catering and service
Facility and staff were fantastic to work with all week.
Attented assembly of 1100 Jehovah Witness ...learned how to Dont Give Up In Fulfilling The Law Of Christ...also learned how to show love to all people
Nice building. Easy to find where your seat is.
