We had Ace install new hardwood flooring in our kitchen, dining room and hallway. They refinished our existing hardwood floors along with the new hardwood they installed. It turned out amazing! You cant even tell where the old ties in with the new... the entire floor looks seamless and immaculate! We felt that they treated our job as if it was their own home with great attention to detail and very meticulous when it came to limiting the amount of dust and mess created. After they put down samples for us we went with Provincial stain with a Satin finish (Michaels recommendation) and we couldnt be happier! We highly recommend Ace for all hardwood flooring needs. High quality work at a great price!

We hired Mike Battistoni of Ace Flooring to install 3 rooms of flooring. First of all, he NEVER showed up at the time he said he was going to. The problem was his staining was done incorrectly, not following the stain manufacturers instructions & done in hast so that they could move on to the next job. The result of this was EXTREMELY UNEVEN STAIN COLORING. When we asked for this to be corrected to achieve a more even color, Mike became extremely angry and proceeded to yell at us that NOTHING can be done to improve the very uneven staining. This is contrary to the stain manufacturers instructions that say a second coat of might be necessary. He then apologized for the anger outburst and restained to try to improve the extreme uneven stain color. It did not work. I asked how we could fix this problem, but he left in anger without offering any solutions. I asked if we could agree on a partial payment for the partial job done, with no response from Mike Battistoni. He then had a lawyer demand full payment plus an extra $300 that was NOT agreed on, even thought he left us with a botched up unfinished job. It is unethical to require payment in full for an incomplete job. The staining he did left an almost black frame around the baseboards or perimeter of the rooms and burned off stain areas in the middle of the room which were a natural blond color. The color we were going for was not black or blond, but cherry. We are having a nightmare experience with Mike Battistoni from Ace Flooring Brookfield. We are unable to make a partial payment, due to no address or license number on his invoice or business card.
