Good Shepherd has taken wonderful care of Luna for the past couple of years, she has been seen by several of the doctors there and we have always had positive experiences. There have been several occasions where they have gotten her in to be seen very quickly at a moment’s notice. We are especially grateful for Dr. Wulf’s attention to detail, she recommended testing for a rare disease and referred us to OVS for further treatment, which ultimately saved Luna’s life. I would highly recommend Good Shepherd, they are kind and compassionate, and they have always taken the time to explain things to me as well as address any concerns that I have. They also call to check on your pet a day or two after being seen, this is something I appreciate and really feel adds a personal touch to the care they provide.
We are really pleased with the service we have always gotten from all the vets and staff at the Good Shepherd vet! They took such good care of our German Shepherd girl and were always compassionate and caring in every interaction from a phone call question to the office visits. Thank you to the whole staff at Good Shepherd vet for always doing your best! We appreciate you!
We had a stray come to us several years ago and a neighbor recommended Good Shepherd Veterinary Dr. Long. What a great fit. That baby has left us and we decided to get two pups and there was no doubt where we were going to take them. We have used not only Dr. Long but are comfortable with all the doctors and staff. Thanks for caring!
I love good shepherd. I am confident in the care my fur family receives from them. The staff and doctors are wonderful. I never have any problems getting in for visits. I also love that I am able to get all meds my pets need to keep them healthy. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
I had an emergency with my dog eating a Croc shoe and called the after hours emergency line this weekend. Dr. Murray called my back so fast! He was very reassuring and informative. I really appreciated him. We usually see Dr. Martin and have followed her from her previous location to Good Shepherd. Ive been very happy with Good Shepherd since weve been going there. Thank you for taking such good care of our fur babies!! Highly recommend them!!
We took our little elderly iguana into this wonderful establishment. They took really good care of little buddy and everyone was super nice and attentive. They made little buddy feel right at home. We really loved that they called to check on buddy after we had brought him home rarely do you find such dedication. We highly recommend the Good Shepherd if you have a pet in need. Much love Roger Sherry and Buddy
My cousin referred me to Good Shepherd when I got my puppy at 8 weeks. I took her for initial shots and flea & tick medicine. My puppy is now 7 months and I took her to Good Shepherd to get spayed. She is recovering well from the surgery. They took excellent care of her and everyone is very professional. I plan to keep taking my dog here for her care.
As a new dog owner Good Shepherd was recommended to me by my sister. We couldnt have been more pleased after our first visit with our new puppies. The facility was nice and clean, our wait time to get into an exam room and be seen by the physician and his tech was next to no wait time at all. I had quite a few questions being a new dog owner and all of my questions were answered and not once did I feel rushed during the visit. By check out time the puppies were restless so a quick check out was much appreciated. We scheduled our follow up visit before we left because I knew I had found the place in Good Shepherd that I wanted caring for my puppies vet needs.
As an exotic pet owner I really appreciate how knowledgable they are here in both handling and treating animals. Sometimes vets dont know what to do with a snake, but that was not the case here, and I fully trust the expertise of the vet and vet techs here!
Dr. Long and the entire staff at Good Shepherd take good care of all my pets. They are great with my dogs and are very quick to take care of any needs or concerns as they come up. Dr. Long has a passion for pet health and is great at not just caring for your pets but also explaining what is going on medically and teaching how to best care for our animals in the home. My dogs love the bathing services, and the complimentary nail trims are a lifesaver since I cant seem to get the dogs to sit still at home. Whether you are needing a trustworthy place to monitor and provide for your pets healthcare needs or a caring place to board your furry family while on vacation, in my mind, Good Shepherd will always be the best and only option.
I drive 25 min, passing a few other Vet offices to go here. The staff is great, and Dr. Martin is the best! She explains things clearly and you can tell she truly cares about the animals. Love this place!
Top-notch customer service and care. I absolutely trust my dogs with good shepherd. I was able to email an appointment request late in the day and get my Boxer in first thing the next morning. Dr. Wulf was wonderful with my Charlie, even crouching down on the floor next to the vet tech to make him feel more comfortable during the exam. They were also very informative, and gave me a very detailed instructions on what to look for if I need to bring him back. Thank you for all you do.
So happy with the service, friendly, clean, open and light. Doctor was super sweet and understanding. Feel at ease know knowing I have a place to take my boy for troubles in the future. Thank you so much for the excellent service.
Everything above is applies to the good shepherd veterinary clinic. The doctors are extremely good with my babies and always accurateIn their diagnosis. I’ve been with them for years I highly recommend them if you want good care for your animals this is the place to be. I truly can’t thank them enough
I have 2 fur babies that were very scared but the staff and vet were so patient and kind with them! They took time to talk with us about what was needed before they took any action! I trust my babies with Good Shepherd!!
Wonderful place to bring my dog. Extremely friendly and I found out some things about my dog I never knew. I also received a personal response from the owner as well as the administrator. Talk about amazing service. Ive gotten reminders in the mail and I know Bear is in good hands when he goes here. The vet and tech hugged on Bear and petted him. He loved it and so do I! Id recommend this place to anyone!
I am pretty new at good shepherd, they found time to get my dog in when she was sick and my vet that I had gone to for over 20 years couldnt get me in for two days, Dr. Long and Dr. Murray are great, the staff are all very friendly and loving to your furbabies. will be going there for a long time to come
We have used Good Shepard for close to 3 years now. I am truly pleased with the level of care that they have provided for all of our dogs. Dr Wulf is one of the best! I feel confident and secure entrusting our service dogs with her. Thank you to all of the staff at Good Shepard. We appreciate your hard work, your level of cleanliness and professionalismHeather H.
Three important things in my life bring me joy, they are plants, animals, and babies. For a career, I take care of babies. For a hobby, I love to plant and care for flowers. But the joy and happiness come with the love I have for my pets. We moved to Broken Arrow 5 years ago with 2 young cats and an elderly chocolate lab. Good Shepherd vets and the staff there is one of the greatest finds since we moved here. The staff are kind, knowledgable, and truly love animals. They take the time to get to know each pet and provide wonderful support when going through the loss of a pet. We now have two tiny new kittens, but I know they will stay healthy with this team of professionals caring for them.
Good Shepherd has always been there when we needed them! We recently found ourselves in need of a new vet because our long-time vet has reduced clinic time and staff due to COVID. We have had two separate pet emergencies and GS didn’t hesitate to immediately us in (as New Patients) each time. Staff is always friendly, all doctors we have seen are incredibly thorough and we’ve received emailed test results/X-ray images right away at our request. After each visit we receive a follow up call a few days later to make sure all is well with our pet. We’re so glad to have found a convenient, trustworthy vet for our pets!
If you are looking for a loving doctor for your fur babies, you have found the place! I was so fortunate to find Dr. Holly at Good Shepherd. She is incredibly supportive, caring, smart, and too many more adjectives to list!! The entire staff loved our babies like they were their own, and when it was time to say good bye....they were right there to help us through the process. You will not find a better Veterinarian!
I love the incredibly nice and accommodating staff! They create a safe and comfortable environment for me and my pup. The facility itself is clean, open, and provides a positive energy for all.
We just moved to Oklahoma. During our 1,500-mile drive from New England, one of our two dogs came down with an infection. I contacted Good Shepherd because of their reputation. They saw our sick dog within 24 hrs--for which we were extremely grateful. They did comprehensive labs (on site!), gave her meds and within a few days she was back to her normal playful self.Everything about Good Shepherd is topnotch. They follow Covid protocols conscientiously. Their staff is professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. The vet (appropriately named Dr. Wolf) went to great lengths to explain all the details of our dogs multi-page lab report--in laymans terms. A vet practice that names itself after The Good Shepherd is telling pet owners they care and will always keep the pets health and well being top of mind. In this case, these professionals certainly live up to that high standard.
Being new to Broken Arrow area we asked around for suggestion on a vet for our Labrador retriever. We are so happy we tried GSVH. The staff was great with our Sadie! Dr. Long properly diagnosed the injury and made a recommendation for a surgical procedure with a specialist at Oklahoma Veterinary Specialists. There was a less effective procedure Dr. Long could have performed himself but he said this other procedure would be better (although also more expensive) long term for our Sadie. With that, Dr. Long earned our trust and confidence. Dr. Long put the health and well being of our Sadie above his own personal financial interests. If you are looking for a vet in the BA or surrounding area, Id highly recommend Good Shepherd Veterinary Hospital.
Our puppies have been going to Good Shepherd since we adopted them and we (puppies included) think everyone there is THE BEST! They always remember the pups names as well as mine and make everyone feel welcome and loved. They get us in quickly and make the visit as painless and hassle-free as possible. We couldnt be happier with our choice of vet for our newest fur babies.
We have rarely taken our two dogs to the vet as they’ve always been very healthy but because we wanted to have them groomed we knew we needed their shots to be up to date. We made an appointment We had to wait a short time outside until they had a room ready due to COVID restrictions and Good Shepherds strict adherence to guidelines which we appreciated. They got their shots and went to the groomer the next day. Unfortunately, the groomers must have had a flea infestation and our poor dogs were greatly affected. They both got skin infections from all the scratching and itching and we took both of them back to Good Shepherd for treatment. The staff and our vets were warm, friendly, and most of all, reassuring. We knew they were in good hands and they made us feel assured that our dogs would recover in time. In ten years, neither of our dogs had ever had a flea so this was a new and upsetting experience for us and for them. We will always use Good Shepherd and love knowing that our health and the health of our dogs are of prime importance to them. Thank you staff at Good Shepherd!
Highly recommend Good Shepherd. All the vets there are very knowledgeable and professional, yet compassionate when needed. We have 4 dogs and a cat of our own plus are part of a rescue that saves and brings dogs to the US from a landfill in Turkey. They have always welcomed all our fosters no matter how frightened they my be. Wonderful place and thankful to have them as our family vet.
Excellent Vet! Very professional and caring. Im new to town. SOO happy I found a great Vet. Dr Long
The staff are so compassionate about your furry family members. Friendly and will tell you options of treatment plans that are more affordable. I just love this place. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
I’ve been taking my pets here for years, and I will never go anywhere else. The staff here are absolute angels. They take such good care of my animals, one of my dogs is very shy and they are so patient with her. Thank you Good Shepard!!!
We moved here from California and needed to find a vet we could trust for our two fur kids. One has chronic issues and we were concerned about finding someone that would take him. Good Shepherd was recommended to us and I honestly have to say they have exceeded our expectations. Each and every staff member treats us as family, they are caring and compassionate. Our dogs health is a top priority and they make it easy for us to continue to take care of them and all their needs. If you want the best for your pets Good Shepherd will take care of them and you!!
Great place to board your dogs and to take all of your pets! We have used them for years now and theyve been great a communicating when there was a need when we boarded our dog. Very friendly and present all options well.
My daughter brings her dog, Phoenix to Good Shepherd, they are the only vets office she has been to. We will be taking my new to me dog, Cotton, in a couple of weeks for his first appointment with their office. There are so many things I like about their office. They are all nice, friendly, and honest. We never have to worry that they are over charging us or not taking care of our fur babies to the best of their ability, and their abilities are absolutely amazing. We won’t go anywhere else.
I love Good Shepherd! I trust them with my babies so I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and friendly vet. They are affordable, quick with scheduling appointments, and always kind. Their office is always clean as well. Can’t say enough good things about them!
We love Good Shepherd veterinary clinic! They are always so nice at the front desk and we love Dr. Martin! She is a wonderful veterinarian. We also use them to have our dog bathed regularly and the price is very reasonable and I feel good knowing our Daisy dog is well taken care of.M. Scott
Dogs only - dont take your cats here. They are not good with cats- didnt care about treating them at all. Barely even looked at my cats and then labeled one of my cats as a will bite on her file simply because she was a little scared. She has never bit any person or animal in her life. They just used her anxiety as an excuse not to treat her.Had no idea about the feline kidney medication one of my cats was on. The visit summary paperwork was extremely sloppy, mixing the info up between my 2 cats and didnt even list their weights.
Dr Holly and the entire staff at Good Shepard have been nothing but fantastic with me and my pups. Extremely professional, quick to call or call back for any reason and to update you, delicate on your pets and extremely helpful. I cant recommend this office enough.
I LOVE this vet. Every employee I have dealt with is professional, friendly and truly cares about the animals. They are super reasonably priced and incredibly knowledgeable! We see Dr. Schmidt and he is wonderful! He is so sweet with all our animals, both cars and dogs and he knows his stuff. We are customers for life!
Brought my 8 week old puppy to Dr. Martin for a overall check-up last week. Dr. Martin is an excellent DVM, she is thorough, professional and for many years provided me with vet services. She is amazing. The staff is equally amazing; they are friendly, helpful and kind.
Been pretty disappointed. On my 3rd vet yesterday. A few other small issues but the main one was asking him what he (the vet) recommends for flea, Tick and Heart worms. He simply responded with let me get you to the receptionists. Why would I want their recommendation? Did they go to vet school and have 20+ years experience being a vet? Good lord... My first visit left a sour taste in my mouth but my second visit was pretty good. I requested the same vet as the second visit but didnt get her. But, the place is clean, the staff is generally nice, and its a convenient location.
I contacted this vet clinic about a cat that was 1 of 10 cats that its owner dropped off at our trailer park. I feed these stray homeless animals because I love all animals. On this day when I went to feed, one of then could not walk and was crying out in pain, Im 64 and on social security and explained to this office I had no money to fix him but maybe they could afford to put him to sleep ending his pain and suffering.when the nurse got back on the phone after asking about my request, I was informed it would cost ME $190. I began to cry asking what else could be done did he have to lay here on the ground and suffer until he died? We dont offer a pmt plan so theres nothing they could do.OMG The answered yes he had to suffer til he died. I will tell this story til the day I die. Good Shepard my foot!! Horrific
Good shepherd is one of the best veterinarian hospitals. The staff is kind and patient and you know your fur baby is in excellent care, from the time you walk in, they make you feel like family and I know Remi loves going, they are so kind to him. Dr long is wonderful. How I came to good shepherd, my vet before could not get my baby in he had kennel cough, they called good shepherd and I got in that very day, I was worried about Remi but everyone made me feel much better and dr long treated him and made me feel all was going to be ok. It was ok he recovered and it I need in I don’t have to wait long to get an appointment thank you good shepherd you all are the best. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of you snd your family.Donna Harrington andRemington
All the associates at Good Shepherd were friendly, kind and caring. I appreciated how they not only treated myself and my pet but also how they cared from the other clients in the office while we were there. I found the doctor very thorough and answered all my question and concerns while not making me feel rushed. Also the vet tech was so kind to my little guy which gave me additional peace of mind. I am glad I was referred by a good friend.
We love this clinic. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Our dog gets excellent care and we really feel like they appreciate our business. We drive 45 minutes to get to this clinic but they are worth it.
I took my kitten to be checked out following adoption from the BA shelter as instructed. The assistant told me what they wanted to do and gave me an estimate of the cost. Everything checked out good and I was told to bring him back in a couple of weeks to start shots as he was too young now. They were very thorough and efficient.
Dr. Wulf & her staff were awesome! We checked in at our appointment time, and they had us in a room within minutes. They addressed our concerns, got our Golden Retriever checked out, and got us out the door! All in about 35-40 minutes!! Our dog seemed comfortable with everyone & so did I. Really great experience!
Good Shepherd Vet Hospital is awesome. The Doctors are all so friendly, caring, professional, give helpful advice and work hard to save you money. You can tell how much they love the animals. The support staff is awesome.Always listen to our questions and concerns. Make you feel welcome and valuable. We have complete trust in Dr. Long and his group. They get it right and do a amazing job. Our vote for the best Veterinary Hospital. in the Tulsa metro.
We are new to the area so we asked our neighbors who they used for their veterinary services. I got 3 five star reviews from them, so we made an appointment as soon as we picked up our new puppy. Dr. Wulf and Dr. Murray Have been fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone. I also found the service prices to be reasonable.
After a long night of our westie having several seizures I called Good Shepherd the next morning. We were told we could come in immediately & they took excellent care of Ralphie. Our minds were put at ease immediately & Ralphie received excellent care & is doing great. No side effects from the medicine Ralph has been on for three weeks. Ralph is almost 16 years old & looks & act like he is a pup. Thank you to Dr. Molly & all the Good Shepherd staff!!
The Doctors and the staff are very attentive and always listen to what my husband and I are saying about our pet. Our pet has some anxiety issues. They have always been there for us and keep us informed when we are waiting for labs, etc. The wait to see the Doctor is always minimal. We have seen at least four of the Vets and all of them are very professional and caring for our little Dog.The staff is wonderful, always understanding and helpful. Very friendly and prompt. We are very happy that we have chosen Good Shepherd Veterinary Hospital.
I am so happy to have found Good Shepherd Veterinary clinic/hospital!! The doctors are wonderful! The staff is always so courteous, friendly and kind! I always feel comfortable when I call.. whether I have a question or just need to make an appointment.... they have always been so paying t with me and always took the time to answer my questions....they truly are the real deal!!
Weve used Good Shepherd for our English bulldog for several years and they have always addressed her illnesses quickly and with little discomfort for our dog. Prices are reasonable for both medical and boarding (we also board here as well). I would suggest good Shepherd to anyone looking for a new Vet.
My beagle mix Gracie is always at ease when coming in for a visit. Even those it is usually for shots or testing the staff always treats her great and she doesnt have any anxiety about going. I have also boarded her before and it went great and I didnt worry about how she was doing becuase she was being taken care of very well. I also love that at no cost I can stop by each month and they will trim Gracies nails for free. Love Good Shepherd!!!
Dr. Long is great with our dog. Staff is friendly. Very clean office. Highly recommended them
Everything about the process here is flawless and the staff is so kind. The doctors are knowledgeable and answer any and all questions Ive had, and theyre so caring towards my animals. Its super easy to make an appointment online, and they usually get me into the waiting room quickly so my cats dont have to wail uncomfortably in their bags; they can wander around the patient room while we wait for the Vet. Clean facility, great people, and free nail trims are a huge plus. Love coming here.
I was uneasy about going into the office during the beginning of the pandemic and a vet tech met me and Wally at the car and was extremely detailed in going over my concerns. Wally went inside to see Dr. Martin and she called me to go over every detail I mentioned. I was unsure about the process, but she was so helpful and thorough. She inspected and filed his dew claw and did not recommend unnecessary procedures. The office fit me in really quickly and I was pleased with my overall experience and the fact that they worked with me. Thank you!
On August 22, 2019 I rescued a very small kitten my manager had caught running across a very busy intersection. It was love at first sight!❤️ The next evening we noticed it was limping. I had never been to Good Shepherd Veterinary Hospital before but had heard positive reviews from friends. I took the kitten in that Saturday morning with no appointment. The Wonderful women there assured me they would work us in. It was a very busy morning there! I did enjoy seeing all the happy pets and owners coming and going. All smiles! When It was our turn the wonderful doctors took such good care of my precious kitten. He had a broken leg! And they estimated he was around 5 weeks old. They put a cute little splint on his leg. We came back for the next four weeks to get it changed and now my sweet Teddy is 100% kitten! Running and playing with my other pets. Everyone at Good Shepard Veterinary Hospital are very well trained and so polite and cheerful! Im looking forward to bringing my other cat and my dog to get their checkups soon.
We used a store that had Bet in for shot clinic etc and didn’t know the difference until our girlie was ill and need a bet that day. We called Good Shepherd and they got us right in. The welcoming by the staff was our first impression and it just kept getting better. They loved our girl and took care of her so gently, sent us home with meds and great instructions. Then the next day they called to check on her. It gave me such a peace and respect for their office and we have moved both our dogs to them for all their care.
Clean, friendly and quick. More importantly my fur babies were happy and taken care of!!!! So glad we made the switch.
Good Shepherd has shown nothing but kindness and great care since moving to Tulsa. My critters have seen three different vets and all have been wonderful. I trust the entire staff with routine regular checkups to providing extra support with aging cats and dogs as well as managing difficult canine diabetes. Everyone is supportive and considerate. Thank you for taking special care of my pets.
I used Good Shepherd for the first time and it was to get my dog neutered. A friend of mine had been using them for a few months and really liked them so I decided to try them out as well. Im so glad I did! Everyone was so nice and considerate of my feelings. The vet who did the neuter came out and talked to me and we had a very good conversation about everything. She made me feel comfortable in her skills and never once made me feel like I was being rushed or anything. My dog healed very well and no further treatment was needed. I plan to continue to use them going forward and have already started recommended them to anyone I know looking for a great vet! You will not be disappointed with Good Shepherd!
Our 10 year old dog became very ill and had to be put to sleep. Very very tough decision to make. The staff was awesome and very very compassionate. Then we got a new puppy. They have been very great with the transition. And the pup has had the best care and lovin from them!!! Couldnt ask for a better team no matter what age your pet is! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
My 11 year old son and I saw Dr Wulf today for the first time for our Bearded Dragon. Although she had to share very unfortunate news with us, she was wonderful. She was supportive and reassuring. This was my son’s pet and he was very attached to her and Dr Wulf did a great job reassuring him that he was good to her and she was lucky to have had him. I can’t begin to express how much I appreciated that. Her kindness went a long way today. She was also very knowledgeable about Beardies and left us confident in our desire to own another. We will begin seeing her much earlier with this one. Thank you Dr Wulf!
The staff here is wonderful. Their demeanor towards my Boston Terrier and being candid with professional advice just adds to the comfortable atmosphere they simply provide. Glad we chose Good Shepherd for our Crosby! ❤️
We absolutely love Good Shepherd. The Vets are extremely considerate, kind and listen to what you have to say about your pet. I even brought pictures of my dogs poop (because I was so worried about her) and they looked at them and did a thorough examination to determine a course of treatment. Thank you to the friendly staff, excellent boarding personnel and kind doctors!
I took in my dog in yesterday for digestive issues, and all I can say is that I have never experienced a better Veterinary Hospital in my life. Good Shepherd hospital took care of my buddy better than a human hospital. They were truly concerned over the well being of my dog. Even followed up, with a follow up call! Prices are very reasonable too. As long they are around, and keep up the great service, I will never take my dog anywhere else.
You are greeted with a smile as soon as you walk-in. My dog adores the ladies in the front office and the doctors are educated, kind and friendly.
We are a military family and let me say that since we PCSed to Tulsa I took my 3 dogs to Good Shepherd 3 years ago and till this date we are still going strong with them. We have been bless to have a great veterinarian doctor right next to us. Our experience has always been above excellent here. Crixus just got his teeth cleaned and the entire process went smooth from making his appointment, to following up with me and Dr Long phone call telling me he did great. I love how they take care of not only my babies but also the families. Thank you all for everything you do. God bless.
Our experience with Good Shepherd has always been a very positive one for our dog, Sassy. From the time one walks through the front door one has the feeling of being welcome and know that we can expect good care for our pet. This feeling comes from the receptionist to the assistant to the very capable Vet.The facility is not only a new building but clean and well maintained.Sassy appreciates this Vet facility as do we.Thank you Good ShepherdJudy Hillshafer and Sassy
We took our new puppy for a check up. The entire staff was friendly and they made our puppy feel at ease. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a vet.
We have been using Good Shepherd Veterinary services for years. We love the staff and how they treat us and our fur babies. Everyone is very helpful and understand that our babies are part of the family. I will continue to use them for all our pets needs. Thank you for always taking such good care of our needs with the babies!
Dr. Martin and the rest of the staff are amazing. They treat our mini goldendoodle with the same level of care they would give their own dog, and they do a fantastic job of keeping her comfortable and engaged during our visits. The facility is also beautiful and clean which made us feel we were putting our dog in good hands as soon as we walked in. It meant so much to us that Dr. Martin called to check on our dog when she was getting over a bout of kennel cough, and we also really appreciate the team answering our numerous after-hours calls from new/nervous puppy parents. We absolutely adore Good Shepard and recommend them to any pet lover.
Very nice staff. They always answer my questions and give details regarding treatment options. Been using them since we moved to the area in 2018. Will be a sad day when we move. Wish we could just pack them up with us and take them along.
Very professional and caring, they listen to your concerns . They are all excellent doctors, I trust what they tell me
I’ve been bringing my little buddy for nine years and I cannot think of a more better Vet to take my little one too. The Good Shephard is the most caring and loving vet. The staff is remarkable and kind . My dog runs in the door he feels so comfortable there and actually loves to be boarded . If you r looking for a loving Vet to take care of your little one The Good Shephard is the Best
I love Good Shepherd Veterinary Hospital! I brought my Great Dane in to see Dr. Skinner (she is new to Good Shepherd), since she had constant diarrhea and chicken and rice wasnt working. Dr. Skinner listened to my concerns and noticed that this wasnt the first time we had brought her in for this issue. She suggested we do a different route with a special food prescription and a different round of medicine. I so appreciate the time she took with me and Grace. She is an amazing vet and Good Shepherd is lucky to have her, as well as the rest of the community. Everyone from the front office staff to the technicians to the vets are A++++. If you want a vet that cares about your pet as much as you, and cares about you with follow up telephone calls to check in and see how your pet is doing, then Good Shepherd is the place to go. Thank you Good Shepherd for your love and compassion not only for the animals... but the humans of those animals. :)
Dr. Long is a wonderful, caring and knowledgeable veterinarian, who has taken care of our cats and our older dogs for years. Now he is helping us take good care of our new puppies. We have total trust and confidence in Dr. Long and all the staff of Good Shepherd Veterinary Hospital.
Requested an appointment for a 2nd opinion. I was able to bring my dog in same day. Dr. Long addressed all my concerns professionally and with compassion. I will be transferring all my crew to Good Shepherd Veterinary Hospital. Very impressed!
My new puppy was sick within a few days after I got him. Good Shepherd was able to get me in within an hour of me calling and give my pup the care he needed. They even called the next day to check in on him! Thank you for getting my new pup back to feeling better! Highly recommend!
Dr. Long and his staff take the time to get to know you and your pet. Dr. Long took the time necessary to make us feel at ease as well as answer all our questions. He has also responded to our emails after hours when our dog was sick. We highly recommend Dr. Long, Good Shepherd Vet Hospital and their boarding facilities.
We have been taking our fur babies to Good Shepherd since we moved to BA five years ago. The Doctors and staff are genuinely courteous and caring. We were very impressed with the way Dr. Long handled our dog who had a seizure and passed away suddenly. The Good Shepherd Drs and staff sent us a very thoughtful sympathy card. It definitely helped ease our pain and grieving of losing our fur baby. Such a caring Dr. and for that we will always be thankful. We know that our newest dog is in great hands with Dr. Long and staff! We also board with Good Shepherd and our dog always comes home healthy and happy! I will always recommend them!
My dog had stomach issues for a couple of days and I thought she was on the mend. Friday night she was sick again. I called Good Shepard on Saturday morning and they were able to see her that morning. All of the staff was great and Dr Long took time to answer all questions. This is the second time I needed a vet on short notice and they were able to get us in. We will be transferring our pet care to Good Shepard permanently! Thanks to all the staff for the great experience! Yall are the best!
Dr. Wulf and the rest of the Good Shepherd staff consistently provide care and comfort to my pets, and me! They understand that these animals are my family, and always treat them as such. I also love that they take time to always have treats at the check-in desk. It makes their patients more excited to head inside! I highly recommend this facility.
I took my dogs here for 3 years, this is a great vet. They took care to always give one of my dogs treats during nail trims because he hates them. When my other dog got a brain tumor, they were so super helpful and helped us decide when to put her down. I only left due to a major move.
We absolutely love Dr Wolf. I am happy to have found a Vet that will listen to my concerns and come up treatments that we are comfortable with. She has taken time to return calls on her day off. That is so thoughtful and important to us. I am so thankful to have her as our dogs Veterinarian
We have 3 animals currently and have had a total of 5 that have been seen at Good Shepherd. Their staff front and back are always caring and compassionate. We have had to use them after hours several times and cannot thank them enough for taking time away from their families to help us!!I would recommend them, and have, to anyone needing veterinary care for their fur babies.Carmen K.
Good Shepard is a great and reliable place for your dog . They take care of your dog likes it’s their very own . Check them out !!
We are very pleased with the service we have received for our pet at Good Shepherd! We recommend highly!
I cannot say enough about Good Shepherd Vet Hospital. The staff are all knowledgeable and friendly, and always happy to see your pets. They welcome our girls every time with excitement, which the pups love. They offer routine visits, vaccinations, surgical procedures, dental work, flea/tick and heartworm meds, as well as boarding and free nail trimming. They know you and your animals by name, and it feels comfortable to be there, for both myself and my pets.Their best interest is for your animals well being, and it shows in everything they do.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Skinner and Dr. Long at Good Shepard Veterinary Hospital! My husband and I used a great Veterinarian in Owasso, for many years, and never thought we could switch to another Veterinary Hospital. Good Shepard has definitely changed our minds on that.Dr. Long is very caring and so helpful, he treated our 11 year old kitty for a persistent limp, and left no stone unturned trying to figure out the cause.Dr. Skinner cleaned my 13 year old Dachshund’s teeth and also found through x-rays that her heart murmur was causing her to cough due to her heart being enlarged. Dr. Skinner put Layla on a lifelong medicine that will hopefully extend her life and make her more comfortable. Layla also had a respiratory issue post surgery, (probably aspirating saliva or something) and Dr. Skinner kept going, working with Layla’s sensitive stomach, finding something that she could tolerate, but trying to get her well. Dr. Skinner also called to check on Layla after a couple of days of treatment, in addition to the staff calling to check on Layla.Of course, when it rains, it pours, so Dr. Skinner has been treating our 1 year old kitty for Pancreatitis, being careful not to over medicate her, but making sure she’s comfortable through the flare. Both Dr. Skinner and Dr. Long answered, all 101 of my questions for each of my pets, and I never felt rushed or dismissed, and Dr. Skinner, herself, returned all of my calls when I had questions after we were home. It’s so comforting to know that my pets are treated by doctors who are knowledgeable and compassionate, and it’s a great relief to see that they are committed to keeping my pets healthy.I highly recommend Dr. Long and Dr. Skinner to pet parents looking for knowledgeable, compassionate, Veterinarians.
I cant say enough good things about this vet office, they are truly awesome. The docs take the time to get to know you and your pet. I brought my new little pup here- hes a rescue and pitbull mix puppy and they treated me and him with such respect.
You wont find a better vet around than Dr. Long. SUPER caring and compassionate and willing to take the time to explain things to you so you understand. Absolute top notch staff too! Never seen staff so interested in the life of my dog before. They pour on the love when our girl is in the office. Weve boarded with them too and we always get her back just as happy as when we left her. Was even told by one of the staff members that they took turns crawling into her crate and cuddling her. Weve done everything from standard checkups to spaying and dental work - all of it was done with the utmost care. Dr. Longs office is a good 50 minute drive away from our new home and we still gladly make the trip down. Prices are completely reasonable and the quality of care is better than anywhere else. As long as hes in business, hell be our vet!
We have been taking our girls to Dr. Long and his staff for 10 years and every time we are there they are wonderful with us and our girls. We have two weimeraners and a small terrier. Our Weims are never happy to go but are treated so patiently it truly makes such a difference. I would tell you without any reservations to take your pets to Good Shepherd. Thank you for all you do Dr. Long.
The only time to use this clinic was to put my fur baby down. They were so reassuring and kind. Beautiful facility and great staff. We will use them in the future for our pet needs, for sure.
