Vinnys a good dude who charged me fairly and did great work on my car.Like car salesman, mechanics get a bad wrap for screwing people before the people even give them their business. It’s a decent size shop and may be overwhelming at times for the owner Vinny how ever he is a genuinely good guy. My pops told me about the shop for my sticker. So I just stuck with the mechanics of things after my first interaction with one of the other guys (done remember his name)

Taking advantage of the community in my opinion. Everytime I get a quote from Vinny its always a minimum of 250 more than what other shops in Brockton will charge. His labor prices are way too high and the shop is a zoo hes doing a million different things at once(not efficient) you could spend an hour at his shop for an inspection sticker unacceptable. He is a nice guy, but that doesnt give him the right to over charge people just because he can. He is soo under staffed that sooner or later safety will end up taking a back seat for expediency.

Its a mess I came in because I had an emergency in front of the shop, tried to make it my regular place but everytime I come I cannot get service Ill wait and wait as I currently am and watch other people get taken care of before they even take my car or my keys so I can leave!! No name writing no phone asking. Place is a mess

I had a great experience at NorthSide Auto Repair. Vinny, the owner, is honest and his prices are very reasonable. He’s not out to take your money and he tells you exactly what’s wrong with your car and what is the most important things to get done first. I’m a college student so this is very helpful since I don’t have a lot of money to drop on all of the repairs at once. He did my wheel bearing and my brakes and rotors in one day. I was back on the road, SAFELY in practically no time. His wife who works the front of the office is friendly too. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for reliable service and great customer service. I’ll be back for all my future car needs.

Worst place ever definitely wouldnt recommend them to anyone, not even my worst enemy. First they claimed to had run a diagnostic on my vehicle and said it was the clutch. When I said I wouldnt be able to afford to get it fixed at their price at this time and that I would go get it towed out of there. An employee began to persist that we allow him to run a diagnostic to see if its something else. Cars are not my specialty but how many times does a vehicle need a diagnostic within a day?? Then after I had called for a tow to get it towed; my key were no where to be found. So now they lost my key and I was unable to get my vehicle towed. The owner then has the audacity to make false accusations stating that my brother must have taken the key the previous day whom had only stop there after noticing that the shop had left my vehicles lights on. After, spending time with the owner (Vinnie) and reviewing the video footage of two days while having my kids waiting for me; he (Vinnie) apologized to us and agreed to replace the key and have the vehicle towed to my brothers place. To then again the very next day retract, stating that he is uncertain if the key was really returned and not permitting access to the footage again. He finally agrees to pay for a new key and tows my vehicle all the way across town to replace the key. But abandoning my vehicle at that other location refusing to tow it back to his shop which will cost me less to tow it from. After calling him and requesting that he tows it back where I had left it (at his shop on 774 N. Main St.) since he is refusing to tow it as he had stated; he is now demanding for me to pay for a diagnostic which first he never initially stated I would have to pay or that there was such fee and lastly that I dont even know if it was really performed.

I came here a few times for repairs to my Ford F-150. John was very helpful and detailed with giving my husband and I information. Service didnt take long. I dont know anyone else that works there but I would recommend asking for John. The price is fair and service is good and honest.

They do a great job at this garage, Vinnie the owner hes a very cool guy. He worked with me on price and offered my next job at a discounted rate if I came back to him. He got my brakes done very quick, I was in and out of the repair shop within an hour. Would recommend this place to anybody that has any kind of car problem or who needs a car. Vinny also sells cars.

Finding an honest and reliable mechanic is the best thing that can happen to a person. I had every repair and option explained to me and was even told when it was not worth putting money into a car by this shop. From showing me the schematics of my engine and why something wasnt working to coming out after hours so I could pay for my car after my own work day, this place has gone above and beyond. They earn your loyalty and business.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with this place. Very fair on the price for service unlike the big auto repair shops associated with car dealers. You deal directly with the mechanics or owner so you can be sure of what is needed to fix your vehicle. Its under new ownership and Im glad I stopped in. They helped me out with tires and I didnt feel taken advantage of. Id recommend them to anyone in need of service repairs or tires.

Though this was some time ago. These guys are disorganized, had me wait half my work day saying that my car would be fixed and I had to come back a few times and they fixed what was wrong at that moment...to then find out that it was installed BACKWARDS. I had to find it out from another place I went to. I definitely would not recommend this auto shop to anyone.

Vincent is awesome, Always a very personal service. I like the other mechanics as well. They will help you to understand what is going on, give you fair price, compared to what else I have been quoted.

I went to this place 2 months ago and paid over $1000 to have ball joints and struts replaced, my serpentine belt and reservoir replaced. They never told me I needed an alignment after all the work and ended up going thru 2 sets of 4 tires because they kept threading out and going flat. I got played because nothing is working now, the reservoir cracked and leaked all the fluid and it’s because they put water inside without notifying me. The ball joints were not done correctly, my car keeps making a clanking noise. I had to go to Done Deal Motors for them to fix everything all over again. Thier prices are made up and basically will charge you whatever they want, making you think your getting a good deal when the work isn’t even done correct. $1300 down the drain. Don’t waste your money!!!

Great experience @ North side automotive last month.I had a brand new Gr.Cher.5.7,I know right?badass! Well so was Vinny the owner,the widows are tinted,(legal¿) got a sticker in 1 minutes

The owner told me it would be done quickly and it was not I waited for my vehicle for hours on top of the time he said it would be done, my car is in the shop and still hasn’t came out he damaged my car . Very sketchy too I wouldn’t not recommend him

This place is a scam they used to be honorable but theres new faces in the business Im from Brockton and I would NEVER recommend anybody ever go here unless you wanna be screwed over.. when you tell an honest business that youll never bring them your business again and they say...thats fine it proves they dont care about their customers beware!!!!

Vinny gets it done. His mechanics hunt down the real cause of your cars problem. I have been to other surrounding shops and they milk you!!!
