I brought my car over there in the summer in august. They took about 3 weeks to finally get working on the car. He charged me $140 to fix a loose cable in the engine. That was an overcharge because he did not buy any parts or do any hard labor. When I went to go check on my car, the car didn’t automatically start. He used a jumper cable to start the car. I said”why did you use the jumping cable?” He said” we didn’t start the car for 4 days.” In other words, he didn’t test drive the car at all after he replaced the rear shocks/ lower control arm.The car battery is still signaling every time I drive it. It has only been 5 days and my power steering stopped working. I called him and he said for me to go put power steering fluid in the car. He did not offer to check anything else in the car when he should’ve test drived it. Waste of one thousand dollars.Why are you responding to my comment? I spent $140 to get a loose cable fixed. I know your broke poor company doesn’t want to refund me any money. You can keep the petty one thousand dollars. I have other sources of income, and I don’t have to lie to make more money. You guys can keep doing your bare minimum work. Don’t sit here acting 🎭 like you care. If I was driving on the highway, god forbid, my steering wheel would’ve locked on me and I would’ve CRASHED. You guys couldn’t check my coolant, the oil? My steering fluid? NOPE. Smfh. You guys are trash

Don’t bother. I scheduled an appointment for 2:30pm today ONE WEEK AGO. I showed up for my appointment 5 minutes early and wait in the empty lobby for 15 min waiting to be seen. No one shows up. At that point I go to the front of the store to see if anyone notices me. Finally a man comes out and says that they don’t have time for an oil change….. why does meineke even provide the scheduling? This place is a complete mess with spent aerosol cans under seats in the lobby, their parking lot full of trashed cars. It looks like the apocalypse came and only affected this meineke. So I left and I went to the VALVOLINE INSTANT OIL CHANGE across the street which is what I should have done in the first place. Meineke will never receive mine or anyone I know’s business ever again.

Jean was honest and quoted me a price $400 cheaper then the 1st tire shop I went to. He was also very timely and I was able to get my car in a orderly fashion and pick up my kids on time.

I’m grateful for their service. They were fast too and my car was ready by the promised time. Pricing was realistic & well explained before the service. Keep it up!!

Originally, I gave Meineke 5 stars. Now I have an update. Took my car in to have the heating fixed. I was told it was the blower motor, fine. It took them all day to fix the issue, 4 months later, no heat in my car during the winter. I took my car back to Meineke for the same issue and was told that it was the heating panel. Of course I was charged again for an issue that was fixed incorrectly. Shortly thereafter, the heat stopped again where I paid yet again. This is partly my fault because I continue to bring my car there.I gave them another chance and allowed them to change the gaskets in my car because it was leaking oil as well as do a complete oil change. This was 2 months ago, end of May, beginning of July. My car is now with Meineke again as I write this because I needed my steering hose replace and some coolant added to the AC. Less than 12 hours later, my car engine is over heating, lights coming on the dash, the AC stops again. Picked it up at 6:00 pm, brought the car back to them at 7:30 am the next morning. I am now being told that it is the head gasket that needs to be changed now.My car is a chevy 2011 that really hasnt been driven since the start of Covid. When I purchased the car, it only had 33,000 miles on it, now it has 58,000 miles on it so why so many issues since I began using Meineke on Oak Street. Ive learned a hard lesson and now I dont feel like my car will be safe for me to drive. Theyve ruined my vehicle!

Big mistake !!!! I brought my car there for an oil change and break restoration. They did not accept my coupon for the oil change service. I was not given a call about the diagnosis of breaks. When I tried to call the shop I could not get through(several times). My car was there from morning to an hour before they closed and all they worked on was an oil change. After I paid full price for an oil change the man said that my keys were left in the vehicle. My car was unattended with full access for anyone to take.

THIS PLACE DOESNT ACCEPT OIL CHANGE ONLINE COUPON. I booked online appointment and went in morning to get Oil Change. Jean did the oil change, but when I said I have coupon for the package listed online for $17.95, he refused to take the coupon and charged me $30! I could have just gone across the street and get my oil changed with multi point inspection for less than $30. Why would they advertise deals online if they dont want to accept it in store? I argued, but Jean didnt agree and made me pay $30. I am never going back to Meineke again.

If you bring your car there they will break something to force you to get more repairs there, do not say I didnt warn you

Very unprofessional, no respect for your money and your time...

I work for a dealership in Easton, I brought the sold car in for a mechanic check that the customer paid $40 for already. My co-wosrker and I came back the next day to pick up the car, my co-worker went to go grab keys, the mechanic told him he needs to pay or the car stays there, not knowing the customer already paid he told him to give him a receipt and the company can send the money. He asked my co-worker what company he works for then said that he doesnt have to worry about the $40The place is very rundown, the mechanic bays are a mess, the tiny lot is completely full with cars where there are only 2 or 3 spots and to tie it all together, the sign is stitched with zipties and held together by tow strapsIts a beautiful experience

I wouldn’t give a star if I could I waited outside for 2 hours so would be done ‘’corectly’’ when they said it’d be done then a week later starts bogging after a full tuneup and the spark plug wires were completely off of one and the other one it was partially off after 900 dollars in work

Place is unorganized they are never on time with anything had a appointment recently and they made me what an extra 45minues which is not bad I guess and they like to jack up prices sometimes they are really good tho so it really depends

Awesome as usual. I typically come in from eat thing in the morning but was running late so by the time I got there they working on a few cars and there was a bit of a wait. As to be expected. But once they got my car on, they were quick and thorough.

Fast service and friendly staff they have the ability to do a good job...can be very expensive. If I ever need a diagnosis Ill go to them again and again.

I was not pleased with the location, service, and above all price. I got my front brakes done on my 2006 highlander. The office was run down. The manager was hard to understand and I had to fight for him to honor the warranty on the brakes. Then he overcharged me but I couldn’t go to another place because it was Christmas Eve. I’ve gone to Meineke in the past in other cities and had better experiences. Unfortunately I won’t be using Meineke again.

Got new brake pads and rotors for my bmw 740li, the team here is excellent. I would recommend and visit again if I need future service. Why go to the dealership when you can go to meineke. Also they installed the parts that I provided, which was a great option for me.

Jean at Meineke was very professional,efficient and personable. He understood my dilemma. While traveling on highway, my Subaru suddenly sounded like a jet airplane. He took all my info and promised to call me to advise me what needed to be fixed with my muffler.He called me back within an hour and explained what I needed. He told me what it would cost which was very reasonable and I authorized him to go ahead and fix it. My resonator and pipe had rusted out. A couple of hours later he called to tell me it was fixed. I am so grateful I chose to go to Meineke in Brockton on Oak St. I walked in without an appt and he fit me into his busy schedule. This was on the day after Thanksgiving. Jean gets 5 Gold stars from me.Besides mufflers he does other automotive repairs... I highly recommend this business. Jean went above and beyond to fix my car! Thank you!

Check engine light comes on when I only went there for oil change, took back to clear it they said I had it before come in, which was a lie my car was fine before I went there, save yourself headache and go somewhere else

Turns out that, although I honestly think they were trying to be nice and are not corrupt, they are incompetent. For this repair, it took 3 days, and the car ended up worse in the end. The work was very shoddy, it was as if it wasnt even done at all. Do not use this mechanic. Again, I think Jean is a good guy, but the mechanics here are not good.I originally said: Very honest and fair mechanic. I thought I had larger problems than I actually had. I asked them to do a bunch of work that would have been expensive. They knew it didnt need to be done and fixed my car at a very reasonable rate.

I have gotten my car fixed and serviced by Jean and the staff at Meineke for over 5 years now, when I have had any questions or issues with my car I call in and Jean answers all my questions to the best of his knowledge, I feel it is best to call ahead and make an appointment prior to bringing in your car since Mechanic shops are always busy as with any other good business out there. When you expect good service and good results, time and patience it’s required with that, good customer service and very friendly staff

Check engine light is still on. After they replaced what the error code displayed and they had to replace the part they did little over a year ago very disappointing wont be using this auto repair shop again. And another thing the problem I went there for are still no fix and need them to so i could pass the Mass car inspection

I went in for an oil change, scheduled an appt online for 11am and they didnt start on my car until an half hr later. I was supposed to get the oil change pacakage with tire rotation and checking the pressure and my oil levels. But the guy just simply changed my oil and did nothing else. The price online stated 19.99 and I was charged $30 without the option of which oil I wanted. Never again Id rather go to Valvoline at least they check everything for you.

Average service. Had to haggle to get advertised price for oil change, as they had different prices posted for same package. I go to another shop now. For the level of service, its just not worth the trouble.

First, I called on a Thursday night at 5. I saw online they closed at 6, so I asked if I could come in because I was literally 3 seconds away at the light, for an oil change. Jean told me no im going home we have no appointments so I said Im 3 seconds away and you dont close for an hour, can I please come get an oil change he proceeded to tell me no, he was going home and I could come in Friday morning. I called back today, Monday morning and made an appointment for 12:30. I arrived at 12:15. As soon as I walked in, I got told Jean, the only one who takes payment, has stepped out for a moment but they will do the oil change and hell be right back to take payment. Needless to say, Im sitting in their office waiting for Jean, with a newborn baby, 45 minutes later. I will never return here for service. Awful experience, terrible, inconsiderate staff. The $19.95 oil change is not worth it!!!

Went in to have them take a look at my catalytic converter. It was previously welded from the last owner, & the welded site split. Instead of charging me damn near $800 to replace the whole thing, they cut off the rusty piping, & welded new piping in its place. A month later & my car is still running perfect!

Dont even deserve 1 star. I am giving this review after 3 weeks because i was waiting for their district manager to reach back to me. Worst company ever. Please dont waste your time going there. Left my car for the whole day. When i went to pick up the car i figured that they changed the wrong sensor. No apology nothing. The human resource does not even care.

Wanted to charge me $150 for labor just to change a tire. I had bought all parts needed.

Im giving a 1 🌟, only because of the courteous at the beginning. I cant believe what I experienced today. When does it takes over 7 hours for a tune up? I was given a junk car to go get lunch etc. Upon my return, I still had to wait. I was told twice my car is almost finished. Ok I must of waited additional hour or more. Now I have a feeling something is wrong. Outside the mechanic told my fiance that they had a problem.( Didnt know how to tell me) A piece of the white casing around the spark plug Broke! And fell inside the engine. Now I am pissed off! I was given the same raggedy car to go home with. God knows if my car will ok. I should be compresated for what Im going through. Never going back again!

Worst experience ever! Went there to get my heater installed and they took the whole day to get my car back to me. When I get my car back the heater is not working, my power seats aren’t working, all the lights on my dash are on and my passenger airbag is off even when there is a passenger in the car. I’m so disappointed in this service

Very poor costumer service, after waiting for 2 hour they finally get to me. The car was diagnosed and estimated and time was set to pick up, after showing to pick up my car no service was done. Not recommend. I actually give 1 star because its the only way to leave a review.
