Country Lakes and Kim are amazing. I was suppose to be a 2020 bride, but I ended up moving it due to covid. During this time they kept in touch, and everything was easy and simple to move. Kim made the place look awesome when it came down to the big day, food was spectacular, and everything went perfect. I couldn’t of asked for a better wedding!
We had our wedding here and it truly was the most perfect evening. The staff was wonderful to each of our guests, the food was fantastic, and they took great care of us from the very first time we walked into the venue when just looking. Our wedding could not have been better and we are so grateful for CLPC. Thank you for such a magical day!
We celebrated Grandmas 100th at Country Lakes and it was wonderful. The venue was beautiful and beautifully decorated as well. The food was outstanding and the staff was super helpful and courteous. I cant say enough ...highly recommended!
What a beautiful place food was good but the green beans were Abit mushy
Nice hall for weddings reception or party. Has pool and snack bar out back. Good place to spend a day.
We thought it was very nice ☺️
We only had a ceremony here because the inside smelled like mold. They didnt have our colors and wanted us to settle on different colors. When it came to the day they wouldnt even let the bridal party get ready here. They were rude about everything. When we met the first time they didnt say any of that or we would have taken our money else where. I wouldnt recommend this place to no one. Unless you wanna get treated like trash.
I want to thank the owners & staff for making our parents 50th anniversary party a huge success! The hall was decorated beautifully, the food was delicious & the staff was very attentive.I would recommend for anyone looking to have a special event.
The outdoor function areas were nice as is the wraparound porch. Nice spot for a gathering.
Really nice reasonably priced event center. We had a party here with over a hundred people. Outdoor area is perfect for any summer fun event. Large grass field with plenty of room for weddings, music, company picnics, or other events. Pool and pavilion are welcoming and picturesque. Indoor amenities are open year round and are very nice, spacious, and are great for any sized event.
Great food, great staff, great time!
The outside leading up to this venue was breathtaking with fall foliage!! The lake was beautiful and the front porch was what dreams are made up. I was here for a wedding ana wish Id have known of it before my wedding 2 years ago. Only complaint was the food service was very slow and the waiters made comments about being new and having no information about the layout of the evening. The food however, was exceptional in and of itself!!
Country Lakes is such a beautiful space to have your wedding ceremony and reception. We got married outside by the gazebo and had our reception in the bridge room. It is also so affordable- especially for a couple that’s paying for their big day.I had my wedding on October 5th, 2019 and wow!! I am so grateful that Kim was there to help from the beginning of planning to the end of our wedding night. Even when the DJ announced our cocktail hour earlier than it was supposed to be, Kim and her staff still made it work and helped the day stay on track instead of having me deal with anything. Everyone had such a good time and I’ve gotten so many compliments about the food being so great and how beautiful the room looked!*My husband decided the day before the wedding as we were setting up that he wanted chair covers and Kim made that happen! I apologized so many times for it, but with a smile on her face she reassured me that it was not a big deal at all and she would have it taken care of.
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!! My husband and I had our reception 8/1/2015 here and it was PERFECT! Pam was absolutely amazing. She helped from beginning to end in my reception planning and even checked on me throughout the year to make sure I had everything I needed for my wedding and reception. I highly recommend this facility! The facility was absolutely beautiful both inside and out! The staff was so sweet and professional and they took care of everything from setup, serving, to clean up! Everything was perfect!
I had such a wonderful experience with my reception at Country Lakes Party Center. The center was easy to find and the hall was lovely. The staff was so friendly and helpful from start to finish, everything flowed so smoothly! In my opinion, the quality of the food was great. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. This center is worth a visit. Ask for Pam! She was excellent in helping us coordinate the evening!
Its a beautiful venue! Pam is in charge and she is AMAZING! She went above and beyond to help us out with everything to the last details. She makes everything run very smoothly and we felt so welcomed there. Pam goes the extra mile to make your day perfect and is always willing to answer any questions. I highly recommend this facility for your wedding.
Best experience I have ever had!I highly recommend this facility for your wedding or next event! The staff is amazing, the manager and owner are wonderful, they are so accommodating, everything was so organized, and on top of that all my guests had an absolutely AMAZING evening. From start to finish everything was exactly how we had planned. There were no surprises. I dont think we could have had a better night. Thanks to everyone at Country Lakes not only did I have an amazing night, but all my guests did too! I would recommend this facility to everyone! You should definitely check it out for your next event:)
The location is BEAUTIFUL! And easy to find. Nice and quiet. The banquet halls are gorgeous!! They have every color you can imagine there. It was hard just picking the couple we did because we liked them all. When we finally did pick the colors the event manager helped us with ideas for the chairs and tables. Our wedding was out at the gazebo. It was the perfect size...not to big, not to small. The bridal party looked so pretty up the steps. There was even enough room on the gazebo for our sand ceremony. ......................................................VERY GAY FRIENDLY, they didnt even bat an eye once they figured it out
Just had our wedding here last week and staff did an excellent job. Started working with Pam and eventually Kimberly took over and did an amazing job. Everything went very well and guests loved the food and the staff as well. Definitely worth the price, they did a great job
Country Lakes was a great venue for our wedding. Everything went smoothly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Kimberly was amazing throughout the whole process and made planning so easy we didnt have to worry about anything. We would definitely recommend Country Lakes.
My (now) Wife and I got married and had our reception a few weeks ago on 4/25/15.Everything was PERFECT! We loved the venue, and ended up with lovely pictures from both the ceremony outside and the reception hall! I highly recommend this to any and all looking for a nice place to hold an event!Pam, the coordinator of Country Lakes, was very helpful in all aspects. She even got our cake delivered from a place that doesnt deliver. Two thumbs up!!
I had a baby shower for my daughter at Country Lakes in May and it was a beautiful facility. The grounds are very pretty and we didnt have any complaints about the owners or the food. They worked with us on the menu and the decorations and we were more than pleased with the outcome. Ive seen a couple negative reviews but fortunately we had a really good experience and felt Pam and the rest of the staff were professional and welcoming. I would definitely choose Country Lakes again in the future.
Wedding on June 27th had a great day! Pam and staff were professional and courteous. Our family and friends had an awesome time. We received many compliments on how beautiful everything was. I would definitely recommend this venue. Also there is a beautiful gazebo for ceremony and pictures.
I had my wedding here I was the groom. Loved it there was a wedding going on along with my own and I didnt even notice they were there. Food was excellent and drink were good! I had no problems with management they were very accommodating. I had the best time at this wedding even though it was my own! I would highly recommend this hall!
If you want your wedding ruined, choose this hall. The owner/manager is rude and obnoxious. The night started at 5:30 with all of the guests being locked out until the bride arrived. Never have I gone to a wedding where I had to wait in the parking lot for the wedding party. Once all the guests were in, the doors were locked. Anyone that came late had to knock on the windows. Dinner was supposed to be served by 8:00. The last plate went out around 9:30 (parents of the bride and groom and the priest were served last). Per the DJ, Ive been to a lot of weddings, and this is the worst food Ive ever had (Im guessing he had the roast beef). Everyone was having a good time dancing until the AC was inexplicably turned off. No explanation was given and I had to personally complain to the owner/manager, despite only being a guest. Dont be fooled by the nice scenery and hall, this will be quickly forgotten by the terrible experience inflicted upon you by the craziest human being I have ever encountered.
The New Years Eve celebration was perfect. The night started with everyone being individually welcomed by the owners and seated to their table (friends/family were seated together). Once at the table, the assorted appetizers (cheese and veggie platter, cold cuts platter with prosciutto among other meats, eggplant salad, boef salad and plenty of black tiger shrimp) were just waiting to be devoured; and they were, because they were excellent. Three main courses were served at different intervals ( pork roulade stuffed with wild mushroom and roasted vegetables, atlantic salmon with rice, Romanian stuffed cabbage and sausage). The food was delicious, served right on time with breaks in between to give people time to dance, have a drink, refill on water or just empty their stomach to the next course. The Dobos desert was professionally aranged on individual platters for each person to enjoy. The traditional meatball soup (Ciorba de perisoare) was served after midnight for everyone’s enjoyment; I even went for a second cup. The bar had assorted drinks (wide selection of wines, champagne, hard liquor, beer, juices, soft drinks, Romanian mineral water, water etc.). Kids loved the shrimp, chicken tenders, fries, mac and cheese and also the soup. The venue is beautiful, clean, select and elegant. It was definitely a night to remember that has probably made everyone feel like royalty. The staff was professional, very attentive, checking to ensure everyone was satisfied and promptly taking care of requests! The live music with the Romanian soloist Diana Pantea and the DJ played music for everyone’s taste .Way to go Country Lakes Party Center!!! Looking forward to next year’s celebration!
The experience was delightful. They were open to accommodating to my suggestions especially with decorations, food, and timing of the party. I .cheerful and accommodating as well. Joyce and Kim made it so I enjoyed the event with no worry.
The decision to have our wedding at this venue was definitely a great one!! The landscaping was amazing and the Gazebo and surrounding areas made our photos turn out better than we had imagined! The owner Pam was extremely helpful and was a pleasure to work with. If youre looking for an outside venue with Country Lakes is the way to go!! Thanks again to the entire staff for making this day extra special for us!!
We had our wedding there on June 29th. Pam and her staff was excellent to work with and did everything they could to make our day exceptional. Except for a small rain show that we couldnt control and having to switch to plan b and move to the porch it was a wonderful event. Even that switch in venue worked out after having to do a quick setup in a new location The food was excellent. Would recommend this place for anyone thinking about having a wedding there.
I met with Pam Parker who I had scheduled an appointment with a few days prior after being given quotes on wedding venue pricing. They seemed very reasonably priced with a convenient location. Also, the property itself is beautiful! It is a real shame they have such a rude, unprofessional and disorganized woman running it. BRIDES BEWARE! When I arrived for my appointment, the woman lashed out at myself and my grandmother, stating she was so overwhelmed, she has forgotten we were coming when I clearly scheduled an appointment. If she cannot keep her appointments organized, why in the world would I trust her with my wedding venue??? Instead of apologizing for her lack of professionalism, she was extremely rude to the point I walked out before even getting to view the ballroom. It is no wonder why they are giving away free ceremonies because this woman is killing their business. I will be contacting the owner and reporting them to the Better Business Bureau to help prevent ruining someones very special day. Hospitality is vital in this line of work and this Pam Parker is incapable of demonstrating that... such a waste of a beautiful facility.
Great place great food love the new owners
Had our wedding here 6-22-19 and it was amazing Kim you made our day so special the food was amazing and our guests where really impressed on the place and staff thank you so much you really went out you way and you treated us like family Kim you rock !!!
Very good time, nice atmosphere, clean and friendly staff
My wedding was July 13, 2019. I am start of by saying how great Kim was she did her best to work with me and my family. Venue is beautiful. Very nice place. The day of the wedding is where I had issues. The owner called the police on my father because him and her husband had a miss understanding was very disrespected. Staff kept letting people go for second before all the table got their turn that we ran out of food and last when it came to cutting the cake. Cake was in a corner noone got to see it brought out the white cake they were supposed to keep in the back. Over all I had few issues .my self will not be returing just because I dont need all that complication that made me not enjoy my wedding day. At first staff was very understanding the day off no communication between the staff event could of been planned better . Owner kept walking around counting people even though I did say if any addition show up I will be more than happy to pay the difference after the wedding is over instead of focusing on making my guest happy she was more concerned for the money truly unhappy with her. KIM on the other hand was great she worked with us and helped us through the process. Alot of our guest werent happy seen the cops since the owner assumed fight will happen and lied to the cops saying that shes the one my dad talked to when it was her husband who constantly kept pushing my father but denying everything we already agreed on before. After all I wasnt able to enjoy my day since I was going around fixing issues that should of been handled after the event. And after the event I still paid a large amount even after everything they have done..
Run as fast as you can ANYWHERE else!!!! If you dont want your event ruined please go somewhere else. The hostess is a rude and vindictive woman. She locked the guest from entering the hall including the parents of the bride and groom. Stating she made the times with the bride, DO you see a bride here? When she did allow the guests to enter she monitored the number and shut the door in peoples faces making them wait outside in a receiving line because the air conditioning was on. I beg to disagree with this as it was warmer inside than outside. Dinner was to be completed by 8 pm and the last guests (parents, grandparents and pastor of the bride and groom) were not served until after 9 pm. I have never been to a wedding were the honored guests are served dead last!!!!! Usually they are served first so that they can visit with their guests. Coffee was to be available during dinner, however, guests had to beg for a cup of coffee and then it was served one cup per table at a time. The talk among the guests was how she treated them rudely each with an equally appalling story. I believe she offended nearly all of the guests at some point during the evening. This hall and its owner gives the wedding industry a bad name. Choose a different location for your wedding or you will regret it!!!!
Beautiful venue. I didnt know this was here
I was very disappointed in the service I received when I rented the hall for my daughter’s wedding. The room condition was very hot despite the numerous requests to lower the AC which were ignored. He was dime and nickel us for any little requests. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone.
Food, staff and place above average.
Had a company picnic here. Food was okay and venue was nothing to write home about.
Just had our wedding there in may!!!!! Beautiful place!!! Gay friendly!!!! The service was impecable. Pam is an amazing coordinator to work with!!!!!! She made sure everything was perfect!!!!
This is one of the worst places I have ever been to a party. I was one of the organizers and Pam was fine during the premeetings but did not live up to her promises the night of the event. She was rude to our guests and the DJ She closed one set of bathrooms and the other set only had one working toilet. The food was all out of a can or frozen. Do not ask for more than your alloted amount because you will be denied. I felt like it was a high school cafeteria. The staff cleared all glasses and water half way though the evening. It was like a sad high school dance where the teachers were in charge.
Attended a birthday party in the bridge room. Nice facility.
The reception hall was lovely, but the hospitality at this facility was terrible. The two individuals in charge were rude, obnoxious and completely distrespectful to everyone, including their own staff. The day of the wedding, the guy owner refused to let us drop off something that we had forgotten during set up and we were told to leave immediately. During the reception, the women owner actually yelled at the DJ, mother of the bride, the bride and the maid of honor for showing up twenty minutes early. Herself and the security gaurd refused to let any guests inside before the exact time that the rehearsal began, even though it was pouring outside. The food was okay, but having to deal with scowling, mean, lunatics the whole night was not worth it. If yourself or anyone else is thinking of this hall, I strongly suggest looking somewhere else.
HelloI am a dj and photobooth vendor. I was hired to do a wedding reception there. I showed up early to setup a lady came to the door was very rude to us for being there then keep yelling at the cake lady for taking to long. I told her that I need to move a table for the photobooth she said you break it you bought it and by the way it ready to break. Then it was time for the ceremony I went out played my song try to get back in door was lock nocked on the door at 4:58 was told its not 5 oclock not letting you in until 5 so everyone is standing outside even the cake lady waiting to get back in to do her job the staff at this venue are very very rude. DO NOT HAVE YOUR RECEPTION THERE thank you
Very charming property and wonderful staff.
Its a very nice place.
Had my wedding there. In a word HORRIBLE!!
Good place
Wouldnt recommend
