This is by far the best staffing service I have ever come across. Both times I used them they had me a job within 4 or 5 days. Both jobs were and one still is a long term occupation. I cant say enough about how much I would reccomend Elwood to anyone looking for a job theyll be happy with.

They were able to get me working for a great company and have been nothing but wonderful and kind and informative. The people working at the Bristol location are so friendly and are always there to answer questions, especially during training for the company I am working with now.

I think Elwood Staffing is a great bunch of people. When I was down on my luck they were there to get me going again

My first exposure to Elwood came in July 2019. From the very beginning, they were professional, courteous and cared about placing me in the right work situation. Once I was hired full time at the company I temped at, I used Elwood for our other temporary staffing needs. Again they were wonderful to work with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The lady I spoke to on the phone was very nice. She walked me through everything I needed to do to get the job. Very professional and helpful. They also have good paying jobs.

The ladies working were very professional, and knowledgeable about their clients. If you come with the things you need; you will leave with a job and zero complaints. I went in monday and today I start orientation at a new company.

I would put zero stars If I could. They are by far the most unprofessional people I’ve ever dealt with. Their advertisements for job openings are never what is offered, talked about, or available when you get there. It’s a shame.

My visit to the office was pointless. Felt like I was just given the run around. First time I have ever visited a staffing agency and left without a job offer. Was supposed to interview for an opportunity with a company I wanted to work for. Was told they would call if something came up and matched my profile. I ended up going directly to the company and got the job without ellwoods help...

Another discriminatory agencies in East TN. Well most of them are. I am an African american woman and have applied to several agencies and positions this is one I have masters degree and disclosed that I had a disability. After applying for a position I was told it was filled ( this position stayed online for over two weeks after I applied that day) The person that tested me looked me in my face and said you dont have to call us we will call you when we find a position. They would never call me for positions I knew I would Qualify for Instead I would have to call them and would get the same thing. we have just filled that position every time!!. So for 2 years of keeping my application on file, I never qualified for a position?! I am starting a Blog about the discrimination I received from all of these agencies. You wont be sweeping me under the rug.

Do not apply for a job through this staffing agency. Worked for them 5 years ago, they placed me at Bristol Compressors. I was there for 5 months than let go. 2 years later I tried giving this agency one more try.. they kept giving me the run around and would not return my phone calls. I have 11+ years of manufacturing experience they will need me before I need them. If I could I wouldn’t give this agency any stars, very unprofessional staff with communication.

The worst Agency I ever worked for trust me I would never go through them again all they do is lie and set you for failure.

This business does not only help people find work they have also worked with the VFW in Bristol to promote opportunities for Veterans. Great professional staff and spotless office space.

The most ridiculous bunch I have ever spoken with. Applied for a supervision position on Indeed, came in for the interview to be told the position was already filled. Got a call a couple of weeks later for a part time intern position that they were not even sure the client was going to fill that sounded like a parts clerk position. I called today about a CNC position I saw on Indeed thru them and was told I didnt have enough experience. I am a certified machinist with 20 years experience including programming on lathes, mills, machining centers and grinders AND an associates degree in Industrial Technology. These are the kind of folks who make qualified people HATE staffing agencies and it turns our stomachs that so many manufacturers use them to screen applicants.

I gave them one star because I cannot give them a (-) minus star rating. A family member has tried to get a job through them for months. Sending my family member on wild goose chases, loosing contact numbers (Oh, my I just dont understand how that happened) Not answering the phones when trying to get in touch or not returning calls. The staffers were and are arrogant, rude and condescending. As far as I can see it is their job to find others gainful employment and doing it poorly, I might add. I am not a big fan of Francis Ford Coppola and those ladies (I use the term loosely) are surely no ones godmothers.

Elwood staffing to me is a great place to work the women there are wonderful people they help you they are understanding and if u are willing to work they will find you a job and the pay is good so if u are looking for a job go to elwood staffing in bristol Tn good place and the women there are very smart and they know what they are doing thank u elwood staffing for helping me.

Tried to go through this place a couple months ago. They would not place me because they do not hire woman to go over to Tri-Cities Extrusion. They however acted as though they would submit my info to the employer because I took the test and passed it. Additionally there was a man there interviewing for a position. The minute he walked out the door the staffing associates were talking about him like a dog because of his background check coming back bad.

Horrible. Laid me off 2 days before christmas. When I tried to get unemployment while looking for work they told the unemployment office they fired me. When I called to ask about it they played dumb and hung up on me. If you want a job longer than 2 months avoid this company that only cares about the money they can get from your hard work.
