If I could give this place no stars this is what they would get. My nephew gave his job a 2 weeks notice because he was supposed to start training on 1/27. on 1/23 they claimed they called him (in which he put a reliable number) and could not get in touch with him so they e-mailed him and said due to volume, his orientation was put on hold and they would be in touch. After my nephew told them he had gave his old job notice and he need to know if he in fact has the job or not, they said that this is all they knew coming from higher ups... Now my nephew has no job, when he was looking for better employment with Office Depot,so he gave his last job the 2 weeks notice.

My experience here was not well. Firstly, these supervisors dont work on the floor at all, rather stay in their offices, my former supervisor has told myself and mainly four other people we have to pick up the slack for everyone else. They will tell you everyone stays until the work is done, yet find only four people stay til the end. Rarely do you get help lifting furniture when it says two-man lift. Several incidents have left the 6 am supervisor reported to different HR representatives, yet she will do her best to write people up, even a week after the incident has occurred. This warehouse doesnt utilize all machinery nor do they train you long enough to use machines which is why they sit in the maintenance bay for months. You cannot go through to the warehouse manager, he has zero time for you unless hes got a meeting for every warehouse associate to attend. Most of the older workers are rude, throw things at you, do not clean up after themselves. Several times there were reports of ants and insects in the bathroom and/or around the trash receptacles, including the mens bathroom and break room area. There isnt a decent amount of cleanliness, often having to find toilet paper on the floor, tables are not cleaned up, trash left on some of the machines at the start of every shift. If you give suggestions to making work ethic and productivity increase its not taken into consideration nor do they initiate any sort of update for various things like sprinkler heads being destroyed or in the way of pallets in racking, they penalize you for not staying past your eight hours, even when several people have more than just this job. Their leadership has caused co-workers to leave and or find better job opportunities and in some instances pressured others to sign papers knowing they were falsely accused. Most of the people that complete nine-hour shifts are told to do extra work exceeding their abilities. Often times, we were given maintenance work to do, which is dangerous and hazardous. No PPE was given to protect our eyes and skin, additionally, the maintenance crew would never help you and have attitudes towards coworkers and name calling is present and aware. If youre putting away furniture they often pair two people together where only one of the two are lifting heavy boxes by themselves. They push accountability as one of their traits to know and carry throughout the shift, but seem to have no problem putting people down and not giving them enough respect to hear out their side of the story for incidents related to other coworker issues. They respond to people having more than one job, telling them they need to stay or find another job. Managers have removed key tools like mirrors at intersections, needed to see around corners of overly stacked pallets, some of the horns on the machines were reported not working as well. You get scorned for taking initiative in helping others even when youre told that teamwork is a core value here. If you plan to work here, just to make ends meet youre better off at their competitor, Amazon. Many people here have left since my hire, whether termination or just having a better opportunity elsewhere. If you use a back brace or a belt it is apparently not supposed to be used for back support, resulting in few to a handful of people being sent to the doctor. Schedules are changed for only people in the am, usually the older people only, who have grossed ten years or so. Insurance policies are too high, vision only pulls eight dollars out of your bi-weekly income, while other policies strip you in the hundreds. Several people that have started in the past year have been fired/terminated, left, hospitalized and /or had other health issues due to the employment standards here. You would get pressured to do things outside of your job description and abilities if you were told the Ceo and or other higher title holders were to be present. Good luck if you plan to apply and work here. It is in a business park with other warehouses paying better benefits and hourly pay rates arent low.
