I paid to have my picture taken here for my passport and they managed to do it wrong. I now have to get my picture retaken and re-mail it to them.
February 7, 2021. Without warning, one month ago, the Elm Street Post Office in Bridgton, Maine stopped delivering my Amazon and other packages to me. This is for all packages so far. It is winter, during the pandemic, and I am 73 years old. First I called the Elm St P. O and they said they could not say why my packages were not delivered or where the packages were. More than two weeks later, after they had marked the packages as delivered, they told me they had them waiting for pickup at the Post Office. I sent a complaint to USPS.com and only received an initial acknowledgement, later a survey, and nothing in between. I order food and other items because I want to stay home, but they are requiring me to come in to the Post Office for my orders. They enter false statements on trackings such as, Attempted delivery, will try again, or Delivered. My driveways and the road to my house is kept clear. For the 3 years I have lived here, before recently, they have delivered to me. Many of the clerks at the post office wear clear plastic on their faces. Those face coverings are useless for filtering virus, and those clerks could be spreading the virus to anyone they encounter. It is insulting for them not to have warned me of this change and for them to place false statements on tracking when there is nothing preventing them accessing my home to deliver my orders. Defund USPS. It is a failure.
Everyone here is extremely helpful! I’m learning the ins & outs of selling online and shipping has a lot to do with that! They have been essentially the backbone of me getting orders CORRECTLY out the door and on the way to my customers! Thank-you all at the Bridgton USPS
Of all the places I’ve lived the people who work at this post office are the nicest!! Extremely helpful, always pleasant, and they always remember my box number when I walk in.
Pathetic. The worst on so many levels. They kept putting a mail forward on my address (that I never asked for) and every time I asked for them to take it down, they would assure me that it was gone, but it never was. The whole ordeal lasted about three months and I lost a lot of do-not-forward mail, including my ID.
There extremely kind and helpful.
