My septic was overflowing into the yard, despite having it pumped three times since I bought the house in 2018. I knew that wasnt right, so I called English because they have so many good reviews.Inspector Dave came out and thoroughly checked it out. He called the pump truck and that came out to partially pump the system. Dave removed the filter, which was totally clogged, because the company that pumped it in June 2021 didnt clean the filter!After a thorough cleaning, he replaced it, and explained how it all worked. He mentioned that a big firepit and pile of wood over the drainage field would damage the field, and that would be much more costly to fix. They also found the old cesspit cover, took that off and photographed it to ensure it was filled in properly, which it was. Two trucks and three people later, the whole thing cost only $160, including free pumping! I will never use anyone else but English from now on. Thank you!

We have been using English Septic Services for over 10 years, begining when we had a Thanksgiving day emergency. A serviceman came out and fixed the problem within a few hours. We continue using their services yearly for our septic and monthly for our port-a-pot. We get exceptional service every time. The office staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful; and if I have to switch a date or two, they are cooperative and still pleasant. I recommend them highly and without reservation.

Empty septic tank. I have been using this company for years. They are always available (especially in times of emergencies), punctual and easy to work with.

We were in DIRE need of help with a blocked septic line and other stuff which I wont get in to. Additionally, we could not locate the lid to the septic tank. We were able to video chat with Anna and she told us where to dig and voila! Then they sent Nick out right away and fixed the blockage and pumped the tank. We are still so grateful and will be permanent customers. Also, despite the rush job, they were very fair with their pricing.

All representatives were courteous, knowledgeable and put all my fears of thousands of dollars for repair to rest. It is so nice to have a company come out and be honest, straightforward and help, rather than scare homeowner, with repairs or upgrades that, quite honestly, may not be needed. Ive had plenty of those with a number of different home repairs. Old English outlined the future for my tank and gave me good info I can plan on as well as DIY solutions to keep it from costing me thousands. Called to schedule a septic service today around 8am. Firstly they asked details about the houses appearance, odd, but okay. They said they’d be at our house between 12-3pm. Called back 10 minutes later said somebody would be out within the hour, waited around until about 2pm and nobody showed up. Nobody called either to explain what the issue was. Will not be using this company. I do not recommend.

The service provided was the septic service and/or clean out. However, the cost was a little expensive, compared to other companies I called. They were very professional, knowledgeable and on time for the service. Not to mention, even with the senior discount it was still pricey.

All about first impressions, my first time getting my septic pumped I came home to find sewage in my driveway covered with dirt behind my car...how did I find out it was sewage..I stepped in it going to my car. Came to inspect my septic unit, there was a irrigation line in the vicinity of the distribution box. Tried to state that the irrigation line was fractured before they started digging. In fact after checking security cameras they where digging at the site. Repeatedly penetrating the ground with a stake, and then have the audacity to state that the line will need repair and that it was not their fault.

I have been using English Septic for 20 years to service and maintain my septic system. They have always been responsive and professional. Once I had a sewage back up and they came out within 2 hours to address the problem. I am very pleased with their service and their technicians.

I will not use any other septic service other than English. The young man that did our service went above and beyond what was expected, and also made some suggestions that helped extend the life of our system. These guys are GOOD!

I had routine septic pumping completed by English. The driver and person who performed the task was unprofessional, sarcastic and not friendly. He acted as though he would rather be any where but doing his job on this day! When I asked him a question he replied in a sarcastic tone! This occurred numerous times as I had asked him if everything looked okay as part of this routine task. His responses where “it’s a septic” and “yes it has water in it”. The more I engaged with him I sensed a serious attitude from him. So I walked away and as the service was completed I paid my bill, not even getting a thank you or any other remark after the payment was received.

We had an emergency overflow at 830 pm. I called and didnt expect anyone to answer but the they did. They had someone to our house within an hour. They pumped us out and cleared the clog and were gone in less then an hour. It is nice to have great service even after hours from a company without any call out fees. I was also ripped off by this company, by there employee jamie bitzer,this company and there employee ripped me off in the multiple thousands and I am super unsatisfied. Jamie claimed she would fix the issue how ever after months of not doing it and me following up she claimed she claimed she could but she didnt. I am still damaged and wish I didnt do business with these people, Jamie aslo told me she doesnt care about her work its only a part time job when I told her about the law suit claim I hired myu attorney on eniglisg sewage and her.She talks in circles and keeps repeating stuff I already aknowldeged I understood. She kept avoiding ansering my question of when are you gonna fix this and she changes the subject, i have neem scamed before but this was the worst ever.

One time always respectful. We had a backup a few years ago, I called and they were there in less the 2 hours.

They came to my house on an emergency call for a clogged septic line and pumped out my tanks. The employee who was at my house was very professional and knowledgeable! Will be using them again!!!

Questionable integrity and conflict of interest... They came out to do an inspection on our 4 year old septic system for the sale of our home and my husband saw how hard the gentleman was probing to find the distribution box. He said, Hes going to crack that lid. Sure enough, it cost us $200 to have the cracked lid replaced. Of course on the inspection report, English offered their services to fix the problems they found/caused. There is a terrible conflict of interest when the place doing the septic inspection is able to do the repairs. The company that installed the system said English is on a tear submitting failed systems that are relatively new, and some reports were found to be bogus by engineers who inspected.

I have been using English for many years. From the first call to the pump out everyone was responsive and professional. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

New septic system installed in 2015 for a elderly woman. Wanted system to be up to code. Over 20,000.00. Pumped tank out, said it was a 1,000 gallon tank. In estimate of work to be done said 1,000 gallon tank. They hired an engineer for a plan that said 1,000 gallon tank. Go to sell it this year and find out it is not up to code-not a 1,000 gallon tank. Call multiple times and went in person to discuss problem. Never able to speak with the owner. Would not admit responsibility or rectify problem. Would not return calls. Sent an email that they would correct the problem for an additional 5,000.00.

Words alone will fail to express our gratitude/appreciation for the recent services offered by this amazing company. Not only professional and honest, they are amazing.The day before Thanksgiving, we discovered a clogged septic-line at our residence. I surprised not only to have someone answer, but they immediately sent out a crew. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the baffle on the tank inlet was broken. the situation was quickly resolved for a temporary time until a complete repair could be scheduled. Within thirty minutes I received a telephone call from English Sewage asking if they could repair the baffle later that evening. At 6:30pm, a crew arrived. Not only was the repair completed, it was finished in an hour. This included a worker entering the tank in complete darkness.As a former First-Responder, I cannot say enough to describe my appreciation for the prompt response, and the degree of professionalism offered. Truly, all involved in this repair are heroes.To anyone in need of septic-service....look no further. Fair pricing, prompt service and an unmatched degree of professionalism.

We had a problem with our septic system over the weekend I have my mother who is 72 and already has bladder inconsistent. We could not flush toilet use shower run water at all I used to use Bob’s out of egg harbor city but company closed down when owner passed. Well the company we’ve been using sucks never asked us to flush after pumping nothing was very unprofessional.So I went on internet looking for company open 24 hours came across English sewage gave them a call unfortunately they couldn’t come out on Sunday but I asked if it could be first thing in morn she checked said yes between 7-8 we’ll 6:30 they are here. We found our new professional courteous service for our septic he did a wonderful job explained stuff to me to help out in future.I highly recommend English sewage very happy with service !!!!! We were called out here before hurricane isaias made landfall and we were here in New Jersey for a week while performing line restoration. This company was the one that supplied and maintained the restrooms for the staging area and let me telk you, their service and cleanliness was second to none. You know its good when a dude from Chicago was impressed enough to make a review. They were cleaned daily with some sort of solution that had bleach in it which gave peace of mind that it was actually being cleaned. Covid or not, nobody wants to have an emergency and be forced to use a disgusting restroom so it was very much appreciated to experience the service this company provided.

Weve been using English Sewage Services for years here at work. Ive been here for 23 years and since my first day on the job, any time we had an issue with our toilets or septic system we called English. Theyre always a pleasure to deal with and genuinely want to help us and serve us. Their prices are good and Ive always liked the servicemen that have come out to work on our problems. Today we had a young guy named Abe out and he really was the best guy yet. He went above and beyond to help us diagnose the problem, was very nice and polite and he made sure that he left our facility cleaner than it was before he got here. Absolutely love Paul and his team. This is our second septic cleaning from ESD. We’re having issues with our plumbing and water was coming in our basement. While our plumber was here, we called Paul and he aided the plumbers with what needed to do. Post the plumbers, ESD came out to clean the septic tank but the issue still persisted and Paul spent roughly 20 mins talking us through our next steps. As first time home owners having someone take their time explaining what’s happening with our septic and plumbing was essential. This level of customer service doesn’t exist everywhere.
