Do not use J A Epifano & Sons to inspect septic systems. They just lied about the condition and the location of 2 dry wells in the system they inspected for a buyer and ruined the sale of the home. They claimed the system needed to be replaced and was disintegrating and also lied about the location of the 2nd dry well being under a patio which was totally false. They then issued 2 separate inspection reports showing the system was okay in one and needed to be replaced in the other. The buyers sellers and realtors are all very upset with their very unprofessional and unethical service. The only reason I gave them 1 star was they showed up.
I had an appointment. They didn’t show up and didn’t get a call. I had to call. And at that time, thw dispatcher said she had to reschedule. I rearranged my schedule for this 8am appt. it just shows ne yhat epifano doesn’t care and doesn’t need the business.
Didnt show up two days in a row. I found someone else.
My septic collapsed. They came promptly, installed quickly and did a great and respectful job restoring the property
They won’t return my calls either. Maybe their phones are broken🤔
Over 20 thousand dollars for a new system and 6 years later they can’t or won’t tell me why it’s leaking into my yard. They have been to my house several times charging me $150 for every visit but I still have the same problem. They no longer return our calls. Now I am looking for another company to fix this disaster.
J.A. Epifano & Sons has pumped our septic tank for more than 20 years. When I made our appointment for today, I mentioned we recently repaved our driveway and hopefully whatever reference point they use to find our cover would still be in place. As their long-time employee, Remo, was finishing the work early this morning, I asked if he had any trouble locating the tank because of the new driveway. No problem, he said. He always knows exactly where to find the cover under our lawn. He also made sure we were the first customer of the day because knowing about the new driveway, he wanted his truck to be empty to minimize the weight the truck would place on the asphalt. I was so touched by this consideration. 10/31/16
