Everyone in Emilys Nail Salon does great nails and waxing and thats rare. I usually go to Emily. She is very creative with her designs and specializes in longer nails. Most of the time I just sit in the chair and dont even tell her what I want. She never disappoints. Even strangers in the street compliment my nails. She gets the assignment right every single time.

First timer there, salon clean and the nail technician was very nice and polite but I feel my nails were done extremely too fast, never had a full gel set done in 23 minutes. It’s been 6 days I got done, my nails looks horrible. I won’t be back…..

Fist time going to this nail salon! I usually go to a nail tech but she was booked for the month so I decided to go here because needed my nails done for Cali and the Instagram page displays beautiful sets! NOT WHAT I RECEIVED! Compared to the quality work I usually get from my nail tech, this was horrible! I even went back and had the design taken off because it made it worse! The rude money hungry guy in the front made it difficult for me to get my money back ad gave me back 6 dollars with a attitude! Not to mention designs are posted as 20 and up! To top it off I usually spend 100 on my sets alone so for me to complain about this rinky dink a** set, something had to be wrong! Completely over price for trash quality! If you’re taking peoples money at least have the quality to go with it! NEVER AGAIN!

Emily is the absolute best! I’m never left waiting, and she always gives me exactly what I ask for.I am extremely rough on my nails, yet with Emily’s technique my nails last 3-4 weeks (possibly longer) before I even need a refill. (Whereas with my previous nail techs I was popping off nails within a week.)Emily is super sweet and hilarious. It’s always great vibes in the shop.I’ll never go anywhere else.

Love how she does my nails. I have yet to have any issues. She does exactly what you ask for and then some. Quality is great, my nails have lasted me a month. Its my go to place (literally been her customer for 3 years) service fast and professionally done with great quality (nails last 3 weeks if wear gloves to wash dishes). They start off at $50 for any type of nails. Short or long, regular polish or gel polish.No regular $30-35 full set exist in the hood anymore.Not only that, you would think their artistic skills match the price they quickly throw at you.

This is my favorite nail place! Emily is the best nail design artist I’ve ever met. She can perfect any nail design that you want. All you have to do is bring a picture and she got you. The nails also last a long time (3-4 weeks). She’s also really sweet, professional, and always in a good mood. Trust me you will not regret getting your nails at Emily’s nail salon.

I came here for the first time because I was limited on time and this salon was close by with no wait time. The staff was friendly, I was seated right away and thought the work was of good quality. My only complaint is pricing. While I understand that everything is expensive, I’ve been to more updated and better quality salons that charge much less. With that said, I can admit they do a good job and I will most likely return because the location is convenient for me.

Very rude. Very disrespectful. Hung up in my face. Why didn’t even pick up the phone so I can speak to a manager. They do a good job but they’re too snobby and feel like they have big heads on their shoulders because they do great work. They do have great service But they feel like they could talk and treat people any type away because they charge over the amount normal nail salons charge. Customer service is everything you still have to treat your customers right by all means. The customer comes first that’s in any job in any situation.

I wish I would’ve requested the price of the service before I got it done because they are horribly overpriced.I paid 107$$ for a refill of my acrylic nails and a pedicure. Every other salon I have visited I have never paid this much money the max I usually pay for my feet and my nails on a refill is $65 and that’s including a tip. My nails came out decent to mediocre at best I love to get my nails done I tend to do a lot of bling or designs and I didn’t do it because of how higher price . Unfortunately I won’t be going back

I WAS a potential customer but after reading the reviews and the responses from the owner I can already tell your very rude and only accepting money via cash app or Venmo? I don’t have either so I can only imagine the argument we would’ve had when it was time to pay. Definitely take into consideration that there are thousands of other salons and that people can see your character by just reading your cocky and very unprofessional responses.

They did a great job on my nails but i feel they make up prices as they go along because I got a full gel set with crystals on 2 fingers and a regular pedi and it came to 125, my friend went same day got full gel set, gel pedi and eyebrows and only paid 2 dollars more. When asked I asked the only man I saw working there he why he was really rude like how dare I question the prices. Therefore because he was so rude nd the prices dont make sense I wont be back and will tell others they should do the same. 4 stars for the nails and the woman who did them. 0 stars for the rude guy in front. Also I am editing my comment because I paid 125 in total for a full gel set, minimal crystals on 2 fingers and a regular pedicure. My friend paid 127 in total for a full gel set, a gel pedicure, and eyebrows for 127. Therefore my extra crystals cost lets see about 20-25 dollars? Doesnt sound legit and let me guess the person responding to my review is the same rude man who I spoke to at salon because your just as rude.

NEVER AGAIN! First and last time will this salon get my hard earned money. I am new to the area. I got a regular mani and pedi no extra nothing. The owners wife(Im assuming)told me $50 then after completing my services the owner told me $53 beyond over priced for the services I recieved. My toes had white stuff around them, nails were jacked up I had to ask several times can you cut this,trim that.I sat down for 5mins to dry my nails under a fan because they dont use the dryers (covid rules) after 5mins the lady said ok I have to go feed my kids. Rushed me out while my nails were wet. The follow day I called the salon to ask if they would do my polish over being I was rushed out and clearly destroyed what wasnt already a hot mess. The man replied no we dont do over have to pay. I hope no one else has to experience this kind of service

Emily kills it no matter what idea I bring to her! I’ve never walked out of this salon disappointed in the work I’ve gotten done. Both Sonny and Emily are down to earth and absolutely hilarious, I refuse to ever go anywhere else.

Honest review went in on a Friday just for two of my nails to lift that same day and then I went in to get it fixed just so that my pinky nail would pop off the next day I really wouldn’t recommend this salon just because they don’t know what they a . Long post alert 📢. Followed this shop for over a year, because her work was beautiful! I was extremely excited to work with her for my wedding. I contacted her a month in advance discussed date, mesg prior to, to confirm. Stated she would be on vacation for date we discussed. So I went earlier then I liked, as I was flying out for my wedding and wanted it to be closer to my leave date. But ok, whatever, I really wanted her to do it. So took earlier date. I did tell her to freestyle, which was my mistake. Pics will show what she did, I was disappointed and confused why my nails looked so basic coming from this person who I have seen do beautiful work. ( my Wedding nails) the work was not what I expected. Since I told her to freestyle, I had to eat that and asked her to please change it, I would pay her. I couldnt leave with the nails guys. I wanted to cry. She was annoyed, but she did change it. Didnt do exactly what I asked, her energy was off at this point. And it was better than before so I just Paid the $230!!!! I did get a gel pedicure. However I thought it was overpriced. But lesson for me w freestyle, right! Here is where problem occurs for this review. THE VERY next DAY the design was coming off!!!!!!!!!! After 230. Next day! So I contacted her professionally to show her via pics, next day. she accused me of doing it !! Honestly the strip was coming off same day. I was gonna deal. But next day more. She was very rude and disrespectful. Cursing in her mesg. . I am going to post our correspondenceBut u will see she deleted her response. Because it was nasty and disrespectful. UnprofessionalThe shop also was not the cleanest, her station was a mess. Skip this place, and there lack of regard for customers..they fill entitled to your business!!! Forgetting we the customers pay your bills and KEEP u in business! I chose to go to this place because I saw the awesome reviews. I was not disappointed. My sister and I were getting a full set of acrylics(it was my first time). Sonny worked on my nails and Emily worked on my sister. I told Sonny I never had acrylics and he was very helpful when it came to recommend size and other details. He is also very interested in getting to know his customers and building a relationship. I knew I was going to get a good set on nails with his attention to detail. He made sure the length and smoothness of the acrylic was on point and so it was. He freestyles my accent nail and it is beautiful. Emily’s is definitely my new spot.

I got my nails done from here and it really wasn’t all that . The guy didn’t do a good job on my nails at all the color I wanted he made light on one hand the other hand was ok let’s not talk about the shape . I never payed so much before 150 $ just for a refill & pedi it’s not worth the money at all . Don’t waste your time here

Went in and asked to have the shape of my nails changed, and Sonny said no problem! Since I was a walk in I had to wait a while, I meet a lady whose a regular and watched her get her nails done. When it was my turn, he went straight to work, and the outcome was lovely. Im going back, but Im making an appointment.

There is a nail spa on Park Ave called lovely nails Bridgeport Ct very professional and the job is well done and the cost is very affordable.

Nails came out nice. They couldve been a little bit narrower. I hate wide nails. The customer service here sucks and I noticed that they didnt have me wash my nails before placing the nail polish on. They over charge on everything so beware.

In town for work and got a pedicure and a full set, both done by the same lady. She was very nice and gave a great pedicure, which is why I gave two stars. However the full set was the worst I’ve ever received. Took two hours to do a simple one color no design set. She was clearly still in the learning process of doing acrylics and should not be working on PAYING customers. Felt like I was pawned off on the beginner because I wasn’t a regular. By the prices posted I should’ve payed around $80+taxes but was charged over $100. Frustrating to spend hard earned money on low quality services.

So I just moved to CT I decided to do my nails after the pandemic. I tried this place out nice people but nails not so clean my toes were done horribly not neat at all. I noticed after I left because it was close to closing time so maybe they were rushing. There was glue all around my cuticles and they just looked horrible. I was going to go back the next day but I just decided no not go back there. Everything ......nails were $70 feet I guess was $30 I left $25 from my cash ap.....should have left $5 madness I guess it works for regulars me not so much.

This was my first time here and they seemed pretty friendly at first. I asked for a pedicure. Half way in he told me he only did gel for $45. I said no thank you and how much should I pay him for just the filling and cutting. He charged me $25 which is an extreme up charge for bare toes. Also, he does not take card and wanted to be paid via cash app or Venmo (seems illegal and like he’s taking advantage of customers). I will not be going back and mostly likely will report them.

So last minute decided to go here and will not go anywhere else!! I have been dying for a nail spot in CT that is excellent at both nails and toes and I finally found it!!! Don’t know why I can’t share a picture but they are absolutely worth it!!

Sonny (Emily’s Husband) has been doing my nails for 20 years when he sold his establishment I jumped around till I found Emily’s and I have been going to this salon for three years now and just recently found out that Sonny was her husband. It’s a small world but good nail techs are hard to find. These techs are not only good they are the best!

Clean nice and friendly welcoming atmosphere with fast and good service, however; I could only give 3 stars. I read reviews prior to going and noticed a review regarding the “no washing of the hands” prior to being polished, which I thought was minor, and a matter of preference so I decided to still go. I was told to wash my hands, and while at the sink, the owner asked my nail tech is I had gotten a manicure in which she replied, “Yes.” She was then scolded for letting them me wash my hands. She did a nervous giggle out of embarrassment and the owner yelled, “No laughing” 😳 That was ONE STAR! I understand she may have been tired of telling her no washing of the hands but as mentioned earlier in my review, I feel it should be a matter of preference and I honestly was going to ask anyway. When I went to sit, I asked why not and informed her that I liked to wash my hands prior. She looked nervous and said “She doesn’t want the hands washed.” I could tell she wasn’t comfortable with continuing that conversation so I left it alone but I honestly was looking to be educated on the “why” in case it’s something I should know. Finally, I zeroed in on a conversation the owner was having with a customer regarding her wanting to fire someone because they were lazy and calls out a lot. Another star deducted. They are also somewhat pricey but considering the area and the work, I wouldn’t mind going back, (maybe just refrain from getting nails and feet done same day) other than that, I DEFINITELY WOULD HAVE GIVEN 5 STARS!

I went to get my nails done for my trip to Africa. Within a week in Africa, they started to look old. Ive read lots of positive reviews on Emilys thats why I went there. Ill try again with a different nail tech. Hopefully it doest look like before.

I fell in love with this place from day one! I was looking for another salon that had great service and results and I came upon this nail salon. I am from New York but I tend to go to Bridgeport every weekend. If I cant make it a weekend, I try my best to go during the week just so I can get my nails done at Emilys Nails & Spa. Everything is amazing, from the pedicure to the manicure. Emily is quite talented at what she does and her staff is so friendly and helpful. They have waited for me to the last hour to do both my feet and hands. I love them for that. I will not stop going to this spot. Thank you Emily and Sonny!
