I never leave reviews but these guys deserve one. They will NEVER overcharge you. You will NEVER be judged on your knowledge. The price Robert charged when my mother or myself walks in the door will be the same.Most down to earth mechanics ever. Last 3 diagnostics he’s spent hours on my truck and my car, and doesn’t charge me a cent to look at it.I can’t explain how awesome these guys are. I would send anyone in the area here. It’s even worth the trip out of the way. You definitely won’t find a more honest mechanic in Bridgeport.Family owned and cheap prices. Really no reason not to come here

Dont believe these 4-star reviews for Maiers Garage... these guys are unprofessional, lazy, and dishonest. Brought in a vehicle for an engine check-up after the engine light was flashing and all they did was fix what the scanner was telling them (lazy diagnosis), which led me to revisit the shop multiple times as my engine was misfiring and the light kept coming back. After the 3rd incident with the engine (at this point, I brought my vehicle back twice), I decided to go somewhere else. Another mechanic did a proper diagnosis and was able to accurately pinpoint the issue.Not only did these crooks not perform the job right, they up-charged me 250% more for the labor and parts than market value. Its one thing to be expensive but properly fix the issue, and its another to be expensive and not fix the issue.Save your money and time, go somewhere else.

Great experience with the owner. A friend of mine asked if he could conduct an inspection on a car that my friend was looking to purchase, prior to going through with it; not only did he do the inspection, while providing a lot of helpful suggestions, but he insisted that we dont pay him. We will definitely be going back to have him work on out cars if we need to, due to his great accommodations.

Called them last minute and they could not be more accommodating. Very helpful and professional. Other family members had work done there. Highly recommend.

Maiers Is the absolute best garage in the area. they do quality work at reasonable prices and are proud of the work they do. I wouldnt trust my car with anybody else, especially those criminals at Firestone.

Ive been taking my car for service at Maiers for years. They will fix what needs to be fixed and not up-sell you (like dealerships normally do). Very reliable and trustworthy. Ive seen all models and years of cars in their bays.

He is so responsible in price honest and reliable I went to 2 places before him got the run around for months when I went there robbery the owner was on point and also I had him look at other things he told me whst could go on and what needed to be fixed right away at a very reasonable price he did a wonderful job very understanding I needed my car back at the end of the day it was just my door but others that had me wait months and told me they needed to keep my car for days. Nope not robbert he did it in a day made time for me with his busy schedule hes a good man I would recommend him to everyone

I have been going here for 5 years now and these guys are awesome. Seriously. Very honest mechanics, will do whatever they can to save you money and if there isnt anything wrong, they wont BS you and try and fix it. Also if it isnt their expertise, they will recommend a great place for it (they have recommended a great car audio place, muffler shop and 1980s BMW specialist...). I take all my cars here and wont go anywhere else.

They are the best mechanics I have found in the 24 years I have lived in Fairfield. So reasonably priced, great customer service - and they really know what theyre doing!!! Robert Sr. and Robert Jr. run this business perfectly!! Customer for life!!!

Honest?Maybe honest, but way overpriced. $500 to change the stupid power-steering pump in my honda accord. Never going here again. Realized how badly I got ripped off once I took my car to other shops.

My son has a 2000 Nissan Maxima that was not running well and the Maiers family fixed it quickly and at a fair price. Wonderful family and extremely honest.
