I know there are tons of negative reviews, but let me say that my experience today was GREAT!! Yes they are only open for an hour due to covid, but they really do try their best with what they have and the giant warehouse in the back. Lea at the front desk was amazing and went above and beyond to help me find my packages that had sentimental value to them, and she found them! She really cared about the situation and was phenomenal. Lea is awesome!
Delivery driver hasn’t delivered a single package, in the time I have lived here no one will tell me why, absolutely no help at all. Open 1 hour a day? 0 customer service. A joke.
The delivery person has stolen about ten deliveries so far this year. I have a camera thats pretty visible showing them not delivering half the packages they claim too on a consistent basis. And I am home when they deliver so theres no delay in checking everything was delivered. I ve also had boxes opened with items missing . Sad.I could put in effort and have them arrested.I hope a supervisor fixes it.
The customer service was outstanding. The Angel, behind the counter, went out of her way to help me get my package labeled for delivery and was super friendly. Thank you very much for the great experience!
Routinely delivers packages after my business closes for the day (5:00), usually delivering 7-8 in the evening and just leaves packages in parking lot or in laying in front of door of a clearly closed business. Despite the fact this this goes against UPSs OWN POLICIES! Business is closed on weekends so deliveries on Friday after hours end up sitting outside all weekend. Ive talked to drivers (multiple), called UPS customer service several times, and even gone into the local depot several times and talked to them in person. No luck getting this fixed. Now they are using Covid as an excuse to limit in person customer service to only 1 hour per day, and also to put you on infinite hold if you try to call. Im sure UPS will respond to this review with an apology and ask to contact them to discuss it, but trust me, it is a waste of hours to try and get a hold of them and in the end it wont make any difference.
Using covid as an excuse to limit customer service hours to 1 hr a day, from 9-10am, went over at 9 and there is a sign on door that says closed until further notice now. Basically there is no customer service with UPS. If you try to call UPS the wait times are astronomical and now you cant go in at all. Seriously, use a different carrier
If I could leave zero stars I would. Ive been expecting a package to be delivered for two days. Yesterday it was an unexpected problem. Today, the truck never even came to my town - it showed delivery by 4:30pm, then by 7pm, then at 8:15pm the live map showed the truck on I95 headed back to Brewer. UPS has not made a delivery in my town since Wednesday - and I know several other people are expecting items as well.
DO NOT go here to drop off a package. If youre scoping out business hours due to covid, youll see that they are only open 1 hour a day. If that werent ridiculous enough, between 9-10am is the time their fleet vehicles roll out. You will be stuck in traffic for 20-25 minutes. Go to Bangor UPS instead.
I never know which neighbor UPS is randomly going to deliver my packages to in Ellsworth, even though the address is clearly marked. I receive perhaps 1 in 5 packages and end up calling companies to get refunds. Impossible to reach a real person by phone. HOSTILE customer service--avoid at all costs!
1st went to your Brewer location. 9-10a M-F! 😰😤 I know, Covid hours, new normal, etc.... Then I remembered your Broadway location, near China Light (my favorite Chinese take-out). Got there and you were open, WHEW! Upon entry, I was helped quickly by a very nice staff member. Think I spent 2 minutes tops in there.
UPS uses USPS but they do not indicate it when you track something that has been transferred to USPS, they confuse the matter by indicating the package has been delivered before it has actually arrived at it`s final destination...ARGH
I ordered a package that was supposed to be delivered 2 days ago. Never showed up, the next day it showed scanned in the location right down the road from my house, and said it would be delivered by 9pm I stayed up waiting for a package that never arrived. When I woke up and tracked the package again it shows my package went from 5 minutes away to 6 hours away in another state. When I called and spoke to management about this the manager literally told me to “pay attention” after I told him I was having a hard time understanding his accent
Completely worthless customer service. Denied all responsibility for lost packages and had no information regarding failure of delivery. Complete waste of time
Would rate lower if possible. Ive never had a worse experience with an automated service.. even with foreign companies. Im just trying to call them about a package that was delivered to my address at 8:30 pm. Have been struggling with them for over half an hour because their robots cant seem to comprehend my inputs.

Almost as bad as the USPS....almost.I would say that in the past 18 months over 75%of my incoming and out going packages were grossly late.Dont much wanna hear your Covid excuses, everythand I mean everything from FedEx arrived on time.

This is the second package in six months that has said delivered to my address and it has definitely not been delivered to either my address or either of my neighbors. The driver even wrote Left with customer man. My mailbox is clearly labeled and so is my house as are both of my neighbors. The driver for this area should be ashamed. I eventually received my first order by the receiver finding my phone number on the address label and calling me so I could come and pick it up at their house. The second package most recently, from a different order at a separate time has never arrived. So frustrating when you cannot talk to actual human being find out where your package has been delivered. I dont want a refund from the place I purchased from I want my damn package. 0 stars for UPS.

Received great service today from Jenny. I usually brace myself when I go to the post office or similar places because they are usually not very friendly or helpful. Jenny was very helpful and did not make me feel like I was bugging her with silly questions. Im sure Jenny gets the same questions a million times a day but she never skipped a beat when she was helping me. It was such a relief to have someone cheerful and helpful.

A high value parcel was shipped 2nd Day Air from Apple Computer to my coastal Maine address via UPS. We just moved here permanently, but the house has been here for years, and FedEx and USPS both have been delivering packages with no issues, on time. The package was not delivered or even out for delivery on the day it was supposed to arrive. It stayed in Brewer. The next day it was out for delivery but never came. Saw the driver go right by our clearly marked road. Called UPS they assured me it would be delivered by 9pm. Package not delivered that day either, but went back to Brewer. I requested UPS hold the package that very night. Its still listed as not being available at the UPS distribution center. Another package for me was recently delivered to the wrong house, and the recipient took it to the local Post Office, who gave me a notice it was there. WTH!?! UPS is supposed to be using the USPS database for locations, but UPS must not be keeping their database copy up to date. Our road is on Google and Apple Maps. UPS has no excuse for this piss-poor service.
I was following my driver on their site for my delivery, and watched him drive up to my house on their GPS. He stopped, literally next to my doorstep for five minutes, and then drove away. Cool, I thought, I can go grab my package. Went outside and there was nothing. No note, no package, nothing. The driver literally took a break outside my door, and left.Ive never had a good experience with UPS delivery. They only seem to operate to not deliver a package.
I wish I would have read the reviews before I drove here to pick up my package. Online and the phone system both say the hours are 9-5 yet they were closed at 1:15 when I arrived. Hopefully Google and UPS accept my hours of operation edit so people wont have this happen in the future. There were at least 7 other people who showed up while I was waiting expecting to be able to get in also. Tried to call the customer support number and suggest they edit the hours, but the rep did not care to help at all and just said it is the stores decision on when they are actually open.
I have learned that not all USP locations are the same and that I have to send my shipment through a Customer Center. Unfortunatly the closest one to me is this one in Brewer and they do not seem to have realastic operating hours. I cannot take a day off just to ship something and they are not even open during lunch hours. 9am to 10am, Monday through Friday, really? Ive usually gone though UPS but based on those operating hours, I am now using Fedex.
This office doesnt work, I paid for 3 days delivery, its has been over 8 days already. The status says the box is scaned, loaded in the truck, and no delivery. They just scan the item, make it look like they are working and dont do the jod. The main office shoudl know this Brewer ME offcie dont do UPS work. Sammers
There is one delivery driver who won’t attempt driving up our road if there are more than 10 snowflakes on the ground. I wish someone would analyze how many “severe weather” delays she logs compared to the other drivers. I can only conclude she just doesn’t want to walk a 1 lb package more than 10 feet.
My experience is terrible and I have been battling with the issue of non delivery since 22nd May 2020. I ordered some African foodstuffs from Nimerex which was shipped through ups, the shipment did not get to me but ups claimed it was delivered to me . Nimerex informed me that ups is investigating the issue and no report uptil now.. The driver that claimed to deliver the shipment needs to be produced to confirm where it was delivered.The tracking number is 1zY72W250331337930.

Worst experience ever. I had a two day shipping for a package to be delivered to my loved one, only to be sent to the wrong house by the careless delivery driver according to the Maine Distribution Center admitted fault . I was on the phone all day with these people, they don’t know how to efficiently resolve issues for customers only escalating calls even when connected to a manager, that even then they will still continue to forward calls to other departments . They seemed not to care at all, I was going through a hard time trying to get the package to the recepient even, for the fact I payed extra for an expedited delivery. I am very disappointed UPS, train your employees better because this system is not working!!!.

I was counting on a package delivery, amazon said it was out for delivery, then the next update says that it was damaged and being returned to the seller. I called UPS to find out what the damage was and see if it was still worth it to go pick it up (it was a four pack of a rare soda I needed for a recipe, I only actually needed one glass so as long as one glass survived it would have been worth picking up the damaged package). I get transferred twice and then told my message will be passed along and I’ll get a return call in an hour. They never called back. I honestly don’t think they had any intention of calling back, I think the guy just lied to get me out of his hair.So if you live in this area and have the option, go with FedEx over UPS.
The easiest and most pleasant shipping experience Ive ever had. Shipped 3 big boxes with no problem. Wonderful, happy, and personable employees. A lot easier than we thought it was going to be!
Ordinarily I dont have a problem but todays package was thrown in a snowbank about 3 feet from my door. The package was crushed and half open. NOT COOL ups!

I brought a TV stand and had it shipped to my house. Yesterday a UPS delivery man just dumped my package two houses away from my house and among some of the mailboxes which none belongs to me. The fact is that the package was almost a mile away from my house and I had to walk in the freezing cold weather and looked around everywhere to hunt for it. I own acres of land around my house. This is the most horrible experience I had with UPS delivery. The one star is for the lady who was on the phone to help me found the package.
Everyone at the Brewer Maine UPS facility have always been some of the most pleasant and helpful that we have ever had the pleasure to do business with. Some one should be commended for the great staff there, excellent customer service always.
Send like the best place to get items shipped. It costs less than then postal system and the packages arrive a lot faster.

UPS is like a commie organization. Can’t connect with local office so when drivers don’t deliver your item you have to drive to the office 2 hours away and HOPE your package is there and not on the truck where the driver will NOT deliver again. Wash, rinse & repeat wasting valuable time and sometimes having your item shipped back to original source since I could not connect. Gag!!! All this can be eliminated if I could contact local office like a couple of years ago. FYI I ALWAYS use Fed Ex when possible. I almost NEVER use UPS anymore complete junk organization. I had received two notices on a delivery that I was expecting. I needed to talk to a HUMAN to instruct them how to best deliver said package to me. The automated system had no choices that addressed my issue. The USPS, and Fedex, never have problems delivering to my address.
I have never had a problem getting my packages on or before my delivery date! Im in the middle of no where and they never have a problem getting to me or finding me. UPS drivers are always friendly as well, where as FedEx is usually not so friendly.
They are idiots! I live on a road with 15 houses. They deliver here 2 to 3 times a week at Christmas and at least 1 time a month all year. I order two items from Amazon thay I need on the day it was supposed to arrive. Amazon said pkg undeliverable due to incorrect address. What the heck!! It is the same address you hAve been delivering to for 3 years!!!!!! Can I call my local distribution ??? No! I get some person who is on another continent!!
Utterly incompetent. Third time their substitute driver has labeled my address as undeliverable, despite the fact the regular driver delivers here constantly (apartment complex). On top of that, one of my packages was scheduled for redelivery today after Amazon contacted them, but when I called just now I was told the other three were being held for pickup, and couldnt be redelivered today because they had not fixed them in the system earlier, when they fixed the other package. So now I have to rearrange my day to pick up 3/4 packages that should have been delivered yesterday, because two people screwed up.After the previous two times this occurred, where the facility assured me they would work to ensure it did not happen again, they screwed up even worse than before.I would go with FedEx or USPS if O was shipping something. If they are this incompetent on delivering packages to an address that gets frequent delivers, do you really want to trust that your package will get to its destination?
Both of the women that work up front are lazy and unprofessional. Unfortunately you cant bypass using this place since it is the only hub around the area.

Very inconvenient open hours. I arrived at 110pm to drop off a package and the place was closed. The drop box next to the door cannot accommodate anything larger than a small box.New hours are 9-1230 and 2-5. That is BS.

My package was delivered to wrong address and ended up at Brewer ups store. I received one call from them, she left a voicemail stating she would call back, I heard nothing. Its impossible to talk to anyone at this location. I live to far away to pick up package and they wanted a fee to re-deliver a package they misplaced!!!!
Driver threw my damaged box in my arms, with no response to my thank you, and upon inspection box was severely damaged as were my items! Very bad busines
The hours have changed making it harder to get parts and go like it use to be. I think they are in violation of contract for hold for pickup for my employer to at this time.
I was supposed to receive two packages on November 30 after paying Amazon for one day shipping. Due to snow they delayed and Amazon refunded my one day shipping so I said fair enough. The last two days they have failed to get my package to me even though the weather has been clear and my driveway has also been clear. Today they didnt even go out because of a weather delay, but its 36 and sunny. I will never do business with UPS again.

They delivered my $70 item to the wrong person (the recipient called me then had them come pick it up) and then this ups facility refused to return any of my calls over a THREE MONTH PERIOD so I never received my item.
I have been shipping items with USPS for over 20 years, When I first started I used UPS. Didnt last long. I dont know how they stay in business with their crappy service. I have been receiving a package through them for the last 9 months, once a month on the 1st or 2nd. This month no package. The mailman handed me a card from UPS on the 12th that stated the address on the package was incorrect and the package would be shipped back by the 10th. Huh? Called customer service with the tracking number. The rep repeated back to me the address on the package, which was the correct address! He said the package had been shipped back and I should call the company that shipped it. Why?? Its not his fault or mine, ITS UPS FAULT. THIS IS THEE WORST COMPANY OF ANY SORT THAT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. I WILL NEVER SHIP ANYTHING WITH THEM, EVER!!!
Horrible customer service, and are known for package handling abuse. After reporting this (an abuse claim), they held an expedited package intentionally to cause hardship. I will not use UPS in the future.
I like UPS delivery but I had to take something back and was told to go to another store because they could not scan the bar code on my phone I was a little disappointed
