Ordered a mail tune…bottom line, took my money and didn’t send me the computer. Will not respond to any of my emails nor calls to the shop, overall an unreliable, poor business that I wouldn’t ever rely on for tuning work. $250 down the drain

Ordered a 99-06 mail in tune for a slightly modified engine I’ve built. Website is easy to use, paper to fill out is nice, but the customer service isn’t so much. At first, they were great! There was a shipping mistake (someone else’s tracking number got listed under my order number) so I called them ASAP and they said they got it fixed, no problem at all. I finally received my ecm 9 days later (not their fault, post office and holiday) and I go to plug it in the vehicle. The blue connectors went in great, and then my red one didn’t go in at all, long story short; they sent a blue/green application instead of a blue/red application, the one I originally sent in. I pulled it out of a 2001 van, and the computer somehow stated it was a 04? I know it was an 01 as the vehicle certainly was an 01, meaning it was drive by cable, not by wire (one of the major differences in the computers) so, I contacted them, waited about 5 hours or so for Lawrence, which I was appreciative of because he wasn’t in the shop all day, he called from his cell. At the end of the conversation, I was told that I had to buy a whole other tune as the tune would be completely different, as I understand, but I also don’t understand why I would have to spend another 250 dollars for a mail in tune, when the ecm I sent in wasn’t even the right one that got back to me. If you use them, they seem like great people, but mark your computers! I hope we can resolve something here soon as this is my daily driver, I was obviously expecting this to work and it did not. Took the truck in to get tuned. It had decent throttle response, and made about 12 pounds of boost. Get a phone call after he’s done tuning says it won’t make anymore then 7lbs of boost and only makes 400hp. And that it would barely spin the dyno. So once I got it back I drove it now it’s got a 5500 rpm rev limiter and has 0 throttle response. It feels as if I payed to get my truck de-tuned.

Worked with Lorenz to tune my G8 after several modifications. Lorenz was super knowledgeable and in quick order got my car running perfectly. We ran into a few snags that he worked quickly through and helped me identify the root cause (Issue was on my end; not his). Price was fair, especially since we worked together over the course of several weeks. Its also nice that future modifications have a heavily discounted retune.Above all this... Lorenz set great expectations on the whole process and often beat his own promised turn around time.Highly recommend this shop, I was nervous to work with a remote tuner but after this experience I will always give LSX power tuning a call when Im in need.

Complete lies and BS from this company. I wouldnt even bother with them. First I was told I would receive my initial base tune within 2-3 days then upon talking to the tuner via phone (Lawrence or whatever), he states he cant get it out to me because hes going out of town to an area where there is spotty service and wont tune it for another week or so... UNACCEPTABLE! You have to be more professional than that and honor your word. I understand situations happen that may be out of your control but I spoke to you regarding this tune way before I even purchased this product from your company and now all of a sudden its a big issue with the turnaround time. Thanks but no thanks, Ill gladly take my business elsewhere...
