VERY BAD EXPERIENCE! Do not hire this company if you actually need to get documents served on somebody. Not only did she lie to us about the police telling her to leave the property, she also lied in court. There was no record of any calls to that address from multiple law enforcement agencies as well as 911.Then she said we were lucky that she didnt charge her usual sitting fee charge of $15.00 per hour for the time that she supposedly waited for the subject to enter and/or exit the home. I have NEVER heard of a process server charging a sitting fee. Typically its one charge for a few attempts plus mileage. This is the same in other states as well and I do believe is common practice. It is clear that she does not have the skills or experience necessary.After the service could not be effectuated, we were sent a Declaration of Attempted Service that was described by a judge as inadequate and worthless. Then when we received her bill about 6 weeks later, we attempted to negotiate the bill, due to her lies, she sued us!! I RECOMMEND ANY OTHER PROCESS SERVER IN KITSAP COUNTY EXCEPT BIG DOGS!!

Lanette Duchesneau is the owner of this business, and she is the process server. We hired her on August 11, 2017 to serve a party involved in a family law matter. She emailed our office on August 13, 2017 claiming that a Kitsap County Sheriff Deputy came to the property on Bainbridge Island and asked her to leave the premises. Our office called the Kitsap County Sheriffs Office, the Bainbridge Police Department, and Cencom 9-11, all of whom stated that no calls were made regarding that address and no officers were dispatched. Lanette was given many chances to change her story, but insisted she was visited by a Kitsap County Sheriff Deputy. Believing that her story was completely fictitious we wrote her a formal letter disputing her billing for her attempts to serve. After receiving our letter she said that a Kitsap County Sheriff Deputy called her phone and asked her to leave, and that she was never visited. Then later changed her story back to being visited by a man that was not in uniform, but claimed to be a Kitsap County Sheriff. She also wrote in her declaration that that her first attempt was at 9:45 a.m., but later said that it was at dusk. She charged our office for three (3) attempts, but her ever evolving story makes us doubt her attempts. She was not able to serve the subject ultimately and we discontinued her services. We will not be using her again.
