This place was completely unprofessional. I went by to get unit availability and prices, and the girl at the counter had me wait while she discussed her friends telepathic and psychic abilities. Then when she did help me with the information that I wanted, it was like I inconvenienced her. I went back on Sunday in Hopes that this Niki person was not working, unfortunately she was and it wasnt any better. The customer in front of me, didnt have information needed. He explained to her, to help me while he found the information needed . I told her that I wanted to rent a unit, and she explained to me that she cant help because she was with another customer, right after the customer explained to her, help me out while he looks for his information . Extremely friendly and helpful staff. When I was first looking for a storage the size I needed was not available. I was called once it became available and was able to move forward with renting it. The facility is clean and we’ll maintained.

Facility was clean and well maintained, but annual price increase was too much to stay.

The storage facility was very clean and orderly. I received courteous friendly service and the person took me to my unit to show me how everything works - from gate pass to storage access.

So far so good. I only have been renting a unit for 2 months but the place is clean and well covered as far as security cameras. And the climate controlled units are terrifically chilled.

YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER STORAGE FACILITY .I don’t say something like that lightly. I’ve used countless storage facilities over the last 20 years. I’ve tried them all. This particular location of the chain of facilities, is exceptional.. Not only is the facility clean and overall nicest I’ve come across. But the customer service is above and beyond any expectation I could ask for. Very accommodating to your needs, they were able to find me a unit that was exactly what I needed ( access and location within the grounds, that allows me to back into the unit with trailers, etc. with ease). I really can’t say enough about this place, but would highly recommend to put it lightly.

This place is very affordable and clean. My only issue is the access hours; very limited. Only available from 8:30am- 6:30pm. I wish they would at least be available until 10pm...6am-10pm would be great!! I also get a lot of scorpions but that doesn’t bother me too much, just weird.

Can open up on time! This is the 3rd time that the gate opens but the temperature controlled area doesn’t open. They don’t answer the phone. Plus they will not take payment in person. Nice place but management of the place needs to be fired.

Immaculately clean store and grounds, friendly people, and good customer service. Its not inexpensive, but its new and everything is good quality. They have a bunch if different storage sizes, and RV spaces.

The place is very clean. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly, happy to have your business. Cost is normal for the area I think. Lisa did offer me a senior discount which I didn’t know about and am happy to receive.I get emails when my account is charged and also info on any holiday closures that may be coming up. That’s a nice touch.

There are a couple other storage units in the area, but what really made this place stand out was how friendly and welcoming the staff is. I was helped by Richard who put in the effort to show me how to work the lock, how to choose a size, how to access everything, and more. I couldn’t be happier with my choice— and it’s a great deal— the best in the area!

Jordan provided the best customer service. He was very helpful with us older ladies with a push cart. We also had a few boxes that were to heavy. He was an angel and helped us ;-)

I was recommended to this facility from a friend and I can see why. I just started renting here and Ive never felt so secure that my belongings and valuables were safe. The customer service is amazing, they havent hesitated to go out of their way for me or even save you money if they can. The facility is always clean, the access hours are great and now Ive recommended this facility to a few friends and I was given a $30 credit for each one. Does it get any better?

State of the art facility, with an exceptionally smart design. Its a recent ground-up build, and it shows. Everything is immaculate. Interior climate controlled units are hospital-clean and beyond secure -- zero chance of theft. Elevator is fast, and even larger than needed. Ralph and Lisa are both fantastic, a moving truck is provided free of charge, and to top it all off they currently have the best prices in town. As of this writing, they cant be beat.

We have had a storage unit at Scott Storage since 2010. The customer service is awful. The staff is rude & everytime we go there, we promise ourselves we are switching to a new co.We feel so blessed to have found My Self Storage Space in Brea. The staff is genuinely happy to greet you. They are very friendly, informative, and knowledgeable. The facility is extremely clean. We are paying more than we were paying, and driving a few extra miles, but IT IS WORTH IT to have such a huge jump in service.Victoria helped us to find the right size unit for our needs. The facility is beautiful. Great location. I love the air conditioned units & the measures of security taken to prevent losses.However... I want to say the majority of the consumers who might need a storage unit probably works the average 9a-5p. But guess what.... Why would a storage facility only be open from 8:30-6:00???I cant afford to take time off of work just to work around my storages gate hours.And then to talk with the staff? Id rather roll myself in a pile of cactus leaves & broken glass. The employees are nice. Very friendly and engages in conversation, but tread lightly with the property manager. Rude & condescending, Makes up her own pricing and decides which units to use promos on and not open to working with the customer on making their account right.

Nothing but good things happening at this self storage. I stored my items here for the summer inside a climate control unit, and the staff was very helpful. I was going to rent a truck or borrow one, until the manager told me that they offer a FREE Move In Truck to use just so that I can move in. Wow! this saved me some money $$ an I was able to move all my precious items in one shot. Easy Move, and Month to Month only + a brand new clean facility!

The manager, Lisa, contacted me within minutes of my online inquiry. She was extremely friendly and accommodated all my needs. The facility is convenient with all the modern amenities for RV storage and covered self-storage. Check-in was painless.

Never been a fan of having to store personal items. BUT my experience with My Self Storage couldn’t have been better. Lisa, the on-site manager was exceptional. Best laid plans were not so great my end but Lisa worked with me and accommodated my needs to solve my problem even giving me her personal cell number if I needed my more help. Lastly a modern facility, clean and well lite at night. Highly recommended.

This place is a great storage facility. Its not only NEW, but it has climate controlled units (which make a huge difference during the summer). The manager seemed both friendly and knowledgeable but honestly what I found most appealing was that their prices seemed very reasonable. Also, while I was there they took me on a tour of the place and I noticed they had surveillance cameras throughout the property and an RV lot with a dump station. I dont know if its because its a brand new facility but compared to everyone else in the area this place was amazing. I definitely recommend using them.

Beware........nice, new facility & they offer a good promotion to get you in, but as soon as that promotion is up they raise your rates to get there money back. I was with them for about 5 months. I went to another facility with more reasonable pricing. The staff is rarely in the office to help you & you either have to wait for them to get back or call to find out where they are. This is such a common practice. Make sure you call the office 1st to make sure someone is there before you show up.

The process so far has been what they promised.Richard was very helpful with the reservation, sign up, walk through and lending me their truck. The facility is very clean and organized. I hope the good start continues.

Great location, easily accessible by truck/trailer. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Should be noted that they will make you buy one of their locks when renting, as they use a specific kind that most people dont have, but its a one time buy and their monthly rates are hard to beat from what Ive seen online. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

I had a very lovely experience being there. Although they did raise the rent on me by $18 claiming it was an insurance thing. I am not sure to this day whether that really exist. There was a dead rat in my unit when I went to get my stuff out of there. And all of my things that were wrapped in moving blankets smelled like rat piss.

I will give them two stars because its cleaner they should get more stars than that but customer service is not there the hours of opening and closing I get my zero no star at all with their with my aunt you have to do no push your PIN to get in to get out understand that but the customer service an hours now they should be least after 10 and open a bigger range a time because you dont need big brother staring at you all the time play sure things do you need to know what you doing the much money she paying she should go anytime she want to thats why Im giving that to Star the clean get a five personality looks and things like that you get a fight but the hours you get

I store my travel trailer here. Friendly and accommodating staff. Always a clean facility and easy 24 hour access.

Worst place to do business with. I paid in cash one day and needed to move in one day earlier and they wouldnt accept my cash the next. They claim they dont accept cash. Is there really a business on this earth that doesnt accept American money? Anyway just to make it worse, they tell me I have to wait for corporate to cut me a check. There agreement does not even stipulate how they make refunds. What a shady way to handle business. Their customer service is seriously lacking and Claudia doesnt have any customer care experience to say the least. The way they handled the situation would leave any business owner mortified at how they treat their customers. I would stay clear of this place.

Richard immediately looked up when I walked in and greeted me with a smile. He worked with me for the best deal. Also, they have a moving truck we get to use for free.

Office administrator very helpful and showed me the unit I reserved on line. It was clean and air conditioned. She went over the gate and security procedures and my costs. I was given a senior discount which helps a lot. I purchased a cylinder lock and was allowed to use my insurance instead of the facilitys. Customers can pay monthly on line. I have s very good impression of My Self Storage Space in Brea.

This is a brand new facility, so there really isnt anything to not like. Its extremely clean, extremely secure, and they are offering great deals on units since theyre trying to fill it up. I would recommend to store here for sure.

Quick and easy, from the moment I got there to the time I had the lock and key. The place is amazing, everything is new and very clean. I would highly recommend this place.

This place is fairly new. Needed a storage unit that was climate controlled and the prices were very competitive. They even have a free truck rental to help move your stuff into the unit you rent (with a $100 refundable deposit). The place is very clean and secure.Thats all the good, now for the bad. Theyve lost some of the keys for hand carts and cant be bothered to make new ones. A quick trip to Home Depot around the corner would solve that. The hours on their website are incorrect. When I signed up, they listed 6:30 am to 8:00 pm. Even their business cards say that. But the person that helped me with the unit Im renting crossed them off, changing the times to 8:30 am to 6:30. Maybe it was just a misprint. In all honesty, the hours are terrible. If you work a normal 9-5 with a commute, good luck getting to your unit in time if you want to stop by after work. And they charge by the minute if you keep the worker there past 6:30.They have 2 workers working 10 hour days. They could easily stagger their work times to increase the hours open. The hours are a major hindrance and a big reason for the lower score.I have a climate controlled unit, and my unit is right next to the air vent in my building. I have arrived numerous times to the vent not blowing any air, or blowing hot air, on a day where the outside temperature was in the upper 80s or 90s. Seems like they turn off the A/C often enough, and might even turn it off at night to save costs. Maybe thats why the hours were terrible.If you want to rent the truck, you need to have it back before 5:00 pm. If you dont, they eat the deposit you put down. Making it a very expensive truck rental. Again, the hours are terrible!

Top of the line storage facility! And Ive used a LOT of them. This one is my favorite but the extremely early closing times really mess the time I need to spend there organizing so I end up there 3 or 4 times a week.

While this facility is relatively new and clean, it has undergone a recent change in management that I consider to be much less responsive to my needs than when I originally contracted for my storage unit. Earlier this year, I prepaid my storage unit through April 30 if 2020 in order to save money from their prospective rate increase and to take advantage of an air mileage offer on a new credit card. I was paying $203 per month on my unit.Approximately one month after my prepayment, I received a letter from the new facility manager stating that my cost would increase in 2020 to $244 per month, at the expiration of my present contract. That is a 20.2% raise above my current rate. I feel like I am being penalized by the new management for my willingness to prepay my storage fees.In my opinion, the reality of this industry is that once they have your business you should expect substantial increases because once they get you, you are hooked, since they know how much trouble it is to relocate your stored items. They low ball you to get you to commit initially, but then hit their valuable long term customers with large increases, because they know that they can.

They lied to me in regards to access hours. They even had me rent a more expensive unit out back in order to have late access but restricted access from 8:30am to 6:15pm. The people in the office are rarely on time some days more than an hour late. There are several units being used illegally as businesses and people are living in stored RVs. There are many lawn maintenance companys who store flammable gasoline and oils. The place is very insecure I know of many thefts that have taken place here and the gates are often left open to the public. Dont let the new appearance fool you. The access hours alone are reason enough to look elsewhere for storage. DO NOT STORE ANYTHING YOU DONT WANT TO LOSE AT THIS PLACE!

Needed some info to pay my bill but Claudia never called me back. They advert free moving truck but they only had one so they are booked in advance. Updating my review because I am generally pleased now with their customer service but I am now being told that they had two trucks in the beginning but they didnt because I was told they had one at the time. Also since I never got to use the truck I wanted to use it for about an hour but she wasnt pleased that I had left a review here. I didnt even remember leaving this review but just ran across it. My biggest complaint is that they changed their hours after I moved in to open much later in the morning and it is no longer convenient for me. I feel jipped its not like I can move it to another storage facility. Now that they are not trying to fill their spaces I suppose its as good as any storage if youre going into it with eyes open about the hours. Superclean new facility.

Its brand new and very clean. Access is limited to 6:15pm. My only complain is that the RV people has access to the units 24 hrs a day and if they plan something funny by the time you lose your things its too late.

Bran spankin new!Update: Originally i was very impressed with the storage facility but after having problems again and again I have updated my review from a 5 star to a 1 star. The customer service is horrible, you can barely get through on the phone lines. They have a call center answer their calls 90% of the time. They wont allow me to change the name on my business storage accounts to my name without forfeiting the whole months rent that I already paid. They insisted they would have to move me out to change the name and not prorate me. Every few months they keep raising the rent, it started out as a good deal but with all these rate increases its not a good deal anymore. Half the time my gate access code doesnt work. Half the time I cant make my payments online as there are errors on their website. Then they charge me late fees. Cant get through to them on the phone. When i do finally get through they tell me i have to call back another day to talk to someone else and the whole phone tag game starts all over again. They wont let me get info about my account without changing the name on the unit even though im the one paying. They wont let me change the name without forfeiting the remainder of my rent I just paid. Complete nightmare. I called at least 50+ times today to get through. They dont answer the phones when they are showing units to prospectives. One you get in there you are stuck. Locked in. Now i have to deal with this nightmare over and over again.Response to Ruben Below:Your answer is redundant because I did go there in person with the person on the lease and was told i would forfeit the entire months rent if I transferred the name. So im not sure why you are trying to undermine my review or mislead others. Your retort is insulting to say the least.
