We got our car stuck in sand on Bombay Beach and the owner of the towing company advertised on this beach was out of town. She referred us to another company who told us they couldn’t help us. They referred us to Hawkins. Edgar answered and requested photos to figure out which vehicle they needed to send to help us. We were 45 miles away from Brawley, where Hawkins is located. Edgar was able to get us a quote and get someone on the road in our direction before Roadside Assistance even responded to my request. Manuel came and was very professional and helpful. I was pretty embarrassed by the situation but he just did his job and definitely eased the situation.

I called them to have my car towed and they got to my location within 10 min. Super fast service both times I called. Very respectful, they even helped me push the car into a shop. Pricing was good too. Thanks again guys.

Quick cheap and easy

I was stuck in soft dirt off a main gravel road north of Brawley in the desert and it was 117 degree heat and OnStar nor AAA would help due to location. After several hours of back and forth with them I began to suffer heat exhaustion. I then called Hawkins Towing and in a matter of 30 minutes a young gentleman named Manuel showed up. He was very courteous and professional and even brought a cold sports drink to help bring down my core temperature. Within a matter of 10-15 minuted he got my truck unstuck and back on my way to cooler spaces. I cannot stop saying what an asset Manuel is as his knowledge in his craft and level of professionalism is unsurpassed- any employer who has him has a Blessing. I will always recommend Hawkings Towing as a go to for all towing needs because of this experience. If I could give 10 stars I would. Totally agreed with Jordans review below. I was stuck in the sand near Salton Sea. Hawkins Towing totally ripped me off by charging insanely amount of money - $980 for towing the SUV out of the sand. They charge $280 per hour. The lady who answered the phone said they would show up in 43 mins but the driver didnt show up until an hour and a half later. Guess what, they also charge you for the time they fuel the truck.I would highly recommend finding other towing companies in this area.

Good people. I read your comments and strongly disagree with all the negatives. I know these guys and they charge by the book. If you were in a bad spot it’s unfortunate but you get charged what it is. I know other companies in town and I know the only reason all of you called these guys at 280 per hr (port to port as I understand means including drive time) is because the other guys charges more or was not available. They are not the only ones in tow nor in The Valley. Lobstein seems like a awful person. In my opinion great work guys keep it up.

I was stuck in the middle of the desert by myself and they were the only company that would come to my location. Unfortunately they know that and take advantage of the fact that without them coming out youre screwed so they charge you crazy amounts. It took them 5 minutes to get my car unstuck and were at the site for about 10. They charged me for over 2 hours. I thought oh maybe they charged me for the time driving there and back too but the place was only about 20 minutes away so even with that it definitely wasnt even close to being 2 hours and they charged me for over that. I could have just left my car there and bought a new one for that price. Guy was friendly, but it was just ridiculous.
