Excellent staff and doctor! No lengthy wait, they were able to see Penny quickly and did absolutely everything possible to make her feel better.

Took x-rays and charged us over $600 to say they dont know. A month and a half later our dog has the same symptoms and we take him into a different vet. They diagnosed him with megaesophagus with x-rays. If this vet had been more thorough we wouldnt have paid almost $2k to find out what was going on and would have known that he also has another disease that makes his own body attack him. For $600 this vet gave him medicine to take away his nausea.

We brought our female adult cat in, she had been exposed to our new kitten who had an upper respiratory infection. Staff were so friendly and responsive to her needs. Vet was honest about treatment options. Highly recommend. Our girl is already feeling better after a few short hours.

The staff who worked on 6/2/21 saved our puppy Apollo. The lady who worked front desk was so kind and welcoming she gave us a list of good clinics to take Apollo to for his shots. The doctor and nurse did a plan where it was affordable for us. Whatever they did last night saved Apollo and he is running around getting into stuff like nothing was wrong with him!! I would so recommend this emergency clinic to everyone!! Thank you staff for helping us!!!

My Female Beagle was having issues with a Productive Nasty Cough she hadnt slept well in days . The staff checked her in right away I brought paperwork from 2 previous Vets were she was examined and unsuccessfully treated Explained everything that was going on with her to Dr Ortez, I have to tell you he was Fabulous he eliminated many things that it could of been, and explained everything he was going to do to her starting with Xrays we were pleased nothing serious showed up, he gave her 2 shots and anti flammorty medications to go home with, She slept the rest of the night and she is improving rapidly, I wish I came to him first . Princess and I are very Grateful for your expertise Thank you Dr Ortez to you and your staff .

I’ve had to visit the emergency clinic twice in the past two months. Once for my beagle Fern, and secondly for my cat Luna. After having a terrible experience at Blue Pearl the same night, we decided we could not comfortably trust the staff at Blue Pearl to provide care for Fern. We drove right across the street to Animal Emergency Clinic of Brandon and were met with a world of difference. Everyone there was kind, patient, and empathetic to Fern, my mother and I. Julie the manager provided us with such relief and comfort. She is someone I would trust with the care of any of my animals. Bottom line is, you can tell the people here truly and innately care for the well being of your pet.

Brought my dog in tonight for an urgent urinary issue. Was greeted with a friendly welcome from the staff. Dr Diaz was on tonight and was very thorough and provided excellent care to my dog. Highly recommend this facility for after hour care.

My cat was foaming at the mouth after a routine checkup and vaccinations. I never caught the name of the lady who spoke with me on the phone, but she always kept a calm demeanor and explained what I needed to do. Thankful for their help at a stressful time.

Took my dog in because she was labor breathing showed the video and the vet tech said it was reverse sneezing he checked over the dog. The vet came in never touched the dog or even examined her said it was reversed sneezing .. rushed her back to her vet this morning she had a severe sinus infection and was choking on the thick mucus and suffocating. If I would have just listened to this vet my dog could have died. All they wanted was the money for the examine did not honestly care about treating my dog! This vet is a waste of money. Blue pearl is a cross the street! Do not go here!!!!!

This place was a life saver!!! My dog needed an emergency c-section. I fist took her to Blue Pearl in Tampa who told me it would only cost $2,400. I called them at midnight and after being there for over an hour they came back and told gave me all this bullcrap information and said the new price was going to be over $12,000!!!! They suggested I take my dog home and come back in the morning but said that all the puppies would be dead!!!!I told them to cash me out for what they had did to that point which wasnt much but still cost me $300.I called this place and the receptionist was so nice and calming and said that it would be about $2,500 and that included her being spayed. I drove there as quickly as I could and they took her back immediately. They told me I would have to wait a few hours but they would take good care of her and they definitely did. All 3 puppies were delivered safely and momma was safe and recovering.Thank you so much for everything you did. I appreciate it very much ❤

FIND A DIFFERENT VET, EVEN IF ITS AN EMERGENCY! We brought our 5 week old kitten in past midnight a few days ago because she was completely disoriented, breathing shallow but rapidly, and was scarily unresponsive. The vet tech, who I want to thank for being the only professional in that office, brought us back to meet the actual vet. This excuse of a man, took all of 2 minutes to examine her, out of our site mind you. Came back into the room and place the kitten on the floor next to the exam table, flat on her face because she had minimal control of her own legs, and chuckled. He then proceeded to write us a bill of over $700 to run tests, and in his own words hope for the best. Didnt give us a sliver of information on what could have happened, or what could be wrong with her. He guilted us because we didnt have the money he wanted, so he charged us $100 for absolutely nothing, and then left us with the vet tech and our kitten still motionless on the floor. She gave us some tips, and ideas of what to look up for ourselves and I want to thank her for that. So we went home, and I sat with my phone for all of ten minutes on Google looking up causes and symtoms. After a few hours of warm sugar water, and wrapping her in a heat pad, she was right back to her happy healthy self. I dont know how this man became a vet but all he cared about was our budget. He does not care for animals, and he should be ashamed of himself.

Waste of time. Didn’t even get helped or acknowledged. Walked into with my dog, and staff members were all having a conversation with each other. They weren’t talking about pets, didn’t even have a pet in their hands, they just stood there talking and ignored me completely. I waited to be acknowledged and finally just walked out. I will find somewhere else to go, this place is a joke. Find another place to take your pet.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. My Frenchie was in labor and needed an emergency cesarean, the vets and staff took such amazing care of my dog and her puppy and were super kind to me. I will definitely be bringing my dogs back here if needed

I brought my puppy into Animal Emergency Clinic on Friday night. Dr. Otero and staff were wonderful! They helped me through a very stressful situation and were very patient with all the questions I had. They told me to call at any time to check up on her. I believe they truly made a difference in her outcome. I would highly recommend.

Love that they are open afterhours because we all know emergencies dont only happen between 8a-5p. The dr. and staff were very sweet.Shorter wait times wouldve helped. I felt my initial wait was too long as I heard a lot of playing around/laughter in the back. I was also told that the hospital was full so maybe there should be a plan to get more space?Prices were not crazy high as I know a lot of vets/hospitals will price gouge you because they know youd do anything for your fur baby. They let me know of cost upfront and plan of care. They also allow you to call in at anytime and check on your baby which allowed me to relax a little until pick up.Overall great service. Hoping I dont have to come back but if I do, I would use this facility.

Everything was great! The doctors took their time to explain everything in great detail without leaving us questioning anything. Dr Otero prepared us for the possibility of the worst news and was very realistic about everything and what different outcomes could be. He performed a splenectomy on my 12 year old dog and so far she is recovering great. I felt like she was in good hands with him.

No impressed. They could be bothered with answering the front door. So we went else where. Makes me wonder if they really care about emergencies.

They did great helping my cat with her hematoma. Got her surgery done and all. Now I had to come back a week later because she was getting sick. Had trouble breathing,running nose, and issues breathing. She ended up catching a cold from another animal from there. She was not diagnosed with a cold. They were completely clueless. Another week later she is fine. But now my other cat is having the same issues . They do not go outside at all. The kennels need to be cleaned properly.

With a pet emergency, you never know what to expect! This team was outstanding! I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome! We all narrowed it down to what we thought it was and they provided an excellent treatment and had us on our way home in no time. Today our 11 year old dog is back to normal and doing great! Couldn’t have asked for anything better!

Worst E-vet I have ever been to. Dr. Daniel Otero is extremely rude and unprofessional. Plan of care was not explained or consented to prior to implementation. Vet took upon self to treat pet how he saw fit with no consent of the owner. Owner did not approve of items that were already done to pet and expected to pay. Stay Away! 1 star is generous! Do not take your pets here for any reason!

Rescued a puppy and realized it was infested with fleas. Needed someone to help and they were there for my puppy. Got her all ready to go and cured and she is super healthy.

My dog was very sick and going into liver failure, we think from eating something outside. My 4 year son, husband and I brought him to emergency vet and we had an amazing experience. Sarah G was unbelievable. She is so so knowledgeable and watched my dog overnight. She saved his life by the care she provided him and I will be forever grateful to her. Not only did she provide good care but she was empathetic to us. She knew how much we loved Cody and offered emotional support. She is the absolute best I have ever come across and I have 3 pets.

Everyone was very sweet and gentle with my dog Maggie and myself. They explained every procedure and price as the visit went on, and Maggie felt very comfortable with them. I couldn’t have asked for better service.

The worst place ever they took my daughter for a ride.She called before coming in asked about you know how much things are the ladies gonna tell her oh we have some plans where you can pay 6 months for the plan however did not explain that she had to be approved they did the work without even finding out if she would be approved. I wouldn’t take my a pet to die here. My mom called me about her dog not doing good andShe think she’s been in labor for 2 days so I called them and 5 other clinics in the area they was the only ones with no wait ( red flag) I went the only person nice was the check in lady from there it was horrible. We paid 295 just for The vet just to rub her and take 2 pictures he then brought my mom a bill saying he could do a C section for 2800 or go somewhere basically because my mom was telling him she didn’t have much money and lives off disability but I was going to help as much as I can. he didn’t offer to apply for care credit Or nothing. We didn’t find out they took care credit until we were leaving. My mom was in tears he then walks out the room and says knock on the door if you change you mind or come up with the money and that he couldn’t help my mother in anyway if she didn’t have the funds. Of course we left I wouldn’t pay them with my money with that kind of service! We never even got blood work and everything on the paper work was what we said when we came to the visit.

Very polite and got us in and out.

Took my bully Po in after a difficult delivery suspecting she still had puppies in her belly. They were great! They helped us in a timely manner and were amazing handling my baby girl. The vet and his staff were very nice and made sure I had all necessary info to care for her after her visit.

Dr. needs to respect the word NO. NO MEANS NO... FOR ANYTHING

After seeing the other reviews I see the hospital does not apologize for their poor staff, try to make amends, or even acknowledge any wrong doing; so I will not be sharing my whole story just for them to tell me how I am in the wrong. Which in my opinion says enough about the practice in itself! All am going to say is they are rough with animals, money hungry, and lack compassion, could not pay me to go back.

Waste of time and money, and they dont even help the dog.C-Sections are between 3600 to 4000 (if there are no complications) they cant even try oxytocin first, it has to be a C section.

They helped save by baby last night. Sarah was wonderful and so kind and thoughtful im glad she watched over him last night until we were able to get him into his regular vet who says he is responding to treatment now.

They really helped me. especially since i’m struggling financially right now. they helped with what the could and gave me time to pay them when i was able to. only reason they are not 5 stars is because, a couple ladies were a little rude or not very polite over the phone. definitely needs improvement on that but they were generally all really lovely, helpful and great! helped my little baby get all better (:

Edit- here we are a few weeks later and my inside cat has fleas. We have never had them. So I guess he picked that up in the few hours we were there. Ugh. We had a sick kitty a few weeks ago. He was seen immediately and the care was great. We were out of there within about 90 minutes and he was on the mend. Our actual price ended up being a bit more than the estimate. Ok not that big of a deal-still reasonable for emergent animal care. However, I was really turned off by the fact that they NEVER called to follow up to see how he was. (Of course they said they would). In all my years as a pet owner that has never happened to me. For that reason alone, I will take my business elsewhere.

I went there twice the same week for my dads dog, who has to be put to sleep and next day my dog who had a stomach bug and the service was excellent, fast and with this situation of the corona-virus they put us in a room as soon we got there. They were so nice with my dad when he had to make the decision of putting his dog to sleep. Price was more than reasonable.

Our baby Delilah became ill over the weekend. We were greeted and were treated right away. They showed us several options and did not push us on things that were expensive. We ended up coming back two days later Bc she had another flare up. Again great service and everyone just made us feel as if she were their dog and treated her with such care. It was a bit expensive for some blood work and meds but the care was amazing.

We took our Gracie to the emergency clinic and the staff and veterinarian were outstanding. Gracie Is a very protective and a non-trusting bulldog and it’s always been very difficult to have her examined ...however your vet and technicians were so Professional and sweet it made Gracie very comfortable.. She had to be hospitalized but by the next morning she didn’t even require a muzzle which is really unusual... and a great start to have her trusting people again we are so happy that she is doing well I’m glad we found your clinic ......

My dog Zeus needed immediate surgery the other night, he ate his rope toy and it was stuck in his intestines. The vet here Andrea was excellent along with her sidekick, they treated Zeus like he was the only dog in the world and gave him all the attention he needed. We had gone to Fetch animal hospital earlier that day and had a horrible experienece, to them it was all about money. This animal hospital i would highly recommend and i will be going back there for any emergency i ever have with my dogs ever again.

They took my cat for an emergency visit tonight. Everyone on the staff was super friendly, as sweet as they could be with such a pessimistic little kitty, and I left paying much less than I anticipated. Dr. Braha was a very kind vet who made me feel much more at ease with my situation, and the tech who assisted was a literal angel. Since my cat seems to wait until after hours to present emergency symptoms, I’ll take him here from now on (but hopefully it’s the last time for a while). Thank you for your reassurance and sense of humor that kept this crazy cat lady a little more sane.

You can complain all you want about prices, they were open at 5am on a Sunday and saved my dogs life. Cost me $1000 but hed be dead otherwise. So if cost is your issue, thats fine but its a business and this is the price of staying open all night. The staff was wonderful, knew exactly what to do and did not over bill for anything.

Completely mis-diagnosed my dog last night, almost costing him his life. We came in this morning to pick him up, and by the time we got home, he was in worse shape than when we brought him there last night. We ended up having to rush him to to Fetch Vet down the road less than one hour after we left this place. He almost died in my arms as we drove. Brandon ER vet said he had heartworms everywhere and “could die suddenly”... Fetch did their own pictures and said no visible worms! Turns out he had a severe intestinal infection that was completely missed by Brandon ER. Oh, and he had low blood sugar?! This was news to us! Little bit of sugar in his IV and he was back to being alert. Just to be clear, these were just some of the errors that we experienced last night. Not to mention paying $800 when we dropped him off, and hit with another $700 unexpectedly when we picked him up (without asking if they could go over $800!!) We paid over $1500 for a complete mis-diagnosis. Do yourself a favor and take your pets to Fetch. DO NOT GO TO ANIMAL EMERGENCY CLINIC of BRANDON. Your pets will thank you.

They took care my dog right away and treated her with kindness

My lab was hit by a motorcyle on a Friday night in 2014. (Thanks to military memory loss I forgot I left the gate open)She had 1 good leg. A broken knee, broken leg and dislocated hip. I took her there Friday night. They did nothing for her. Didnt even try to out her hip back in place but charged me @ $2,000 for the weekend. I cost me $5,000 for hip surgery because if you dont put the hip back asap it just wont work. I went to a vet on Bloomingdale they recomended who wasnt ortho... my mistake.. total cost $9,000 for botched work and wanted more $. Took her to an ortho who said the 2nd vet should be jailed.Dog grew up with more problems caused by 2 vets but is doing fairly well living an almost normal life no thanks to to bad vets. Never again. Take your animals to specialists asap or just treat them at home till monday

Excellent service and a great staff.Provided excellent care and treatment for my golden that was having a hard time eating.Allowed visits and answered all calls to check on her. I knew she was in great hands. If you have an emergency this is an affordable option for great care.

We have taken two of our fur babies here. THEY ARE GREAT! They are so patient and caring and truly care about the fur baby parents as well as the animals. We were so worried about our kitty, she was in renal failure, very scary....but they took all the time we needed to explain our options and make us understand what the plan would be. We felt so much better. They kept in touch with us and told us to call anytime to see how she was doing or ask any questions we may have thought of.When Monday morning came, my regular vet was not open and would not be for two days. I needed to keep her on fluids so they found me a new vet to take her too. Without an appt or wait.As far as their prices, they are more than fair, they are treating our fur babies in an emergency situation, they are there for us when our own vets are closed. I give them 5 stars because wasn’t allowed to give anymoreI. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!

I highly recommend this clinic. It was late at night and they got us right in. The doctor and staff were knowledgeable and friendly. They did a quick diagnosis, administered medication and counceled on what to do when we got home at a reasonable price.

I had a great experience with the Animal Emergency Clinic of Brandon. I arrived just an hour before they were due to close with concern that my dog had injured his eye. We were seen immediately and never felt rushed. The Vet took his time and thoroughly checked my dogs eye for any issues. He explained everything to me and walked me through applying the ointment. I would definitely recommend them.

They were open that’s about the only good thing I can say about this clinic.The first tech who looked at my dog said immediately I think he is bleeding internally, then went to get the doctor, they moved him into their examining area and told me it was not an internal bleed but he would need an X-ray to figure it out. Once X-ray was done the vet said she had no idea what was going on but thought it was an enormous tumor or growth. I asked if she had anyone to confer with and she suggested she did and that she would use a needle to verify it wasn’t fluid but that all she could do is open him up and perform exploratory surgery. I asked for a minute to talk with my wife, when I returned the tech came in and asked what I had decided to do, I told her the vet was going to check a couple of more things and come back to talk to me. When the vet returned she asked what I had decided to do and I asked if she had done the other checks we had discussed and she said she had not because she didn’t have time and that I didn’t have to make a decision right then. At this point I was obviously not feeling like we were getting the care deserved and I took my dog home and comforted him through the night waiting for his regular vet to open. Within minutes of seeing his regular vet they had diagnosed he had internal bleeding and that surgery really wasn’t an option at this point. They recommended euthanasia. I don’t know if the out come would have been different but I can say the vet I saw did not instill confidence, did not follow up as she said she would and did not seem to care. Maybe she was over worked I don’t know but I would not recommend this e-vet to anyone ever under any circumstance.

Dr. Otero performed emergency surgery on my dog to remove a sewing needle from his intestine. I am grateful that he and this facility are available to help my pet(s) when my regular vet is not. Ive read the bad reviews, please read them yourself if youre considering not going here and youll see that people are not always reasonable when writing these reviews. People need to understand that having a pet costs money and that the pet ERs are not a charity because they care about animals. They need to make money and they make life sacrifices to be available to us at 2am so that we have the option of saving our pet(s) instead of watching them suffer in pain until our regular vet opens. In most cases, the regular vet wont touch them anyway and wants to send you to a specialist, who will cost much more than this facility. In the end, my bill was lower than Id expected it to be and I believe my pet received good care here. Thank you Dr. Otero and staff.

Thank you Animal Emergency Clinic of Brandon for taking such good care of our babies.Our dog went into labor New Years Eve and had trouble after giving birth to 2. Of course this would happen on a holiday and after hours so we are so thankful to find this place who took control of the situation, professionally, compassionately, knowledgeable.Margarita had to go through surgery but not until they tried everything to deliver the last pup without the added pain to her and expenses for us. The last pup was deformed which caused the problem, so Thank you once again all who worked with us and for us and Margarita.Other emergencies occurred on this night but they accepted all and were organized prioritizing all incoming.

I recommend this vet to everyone. My dog got very ill suddenly and my vet was closed. I have gone to BluePearl before and I had an awful experience there. I brought my dog here and they quickly got him stabilized and well enough to take home the next day. Other emergency vets will nickel-and-dime you and perform unnecessary tests and procedures, but here they only did what was necessary to do and charged fairly and accordingly. My dog made a fast recovery from something that could have been fatal and I will be using them again in the future in case of emergencies. Thank you, Dr. Otero! Boo Boo thanks you too!

We took our puppy here about a month ago. He was diagnosed with parvo. They took such good care of him! Their costs were not crazy and we were even able to visit him while on treatment. I hope you never have to take your fur baby here for any reason, but if you do, I HIGHLY recommend! Everything was explained to us from start to finish and our baby made a full recovery. Animal Emergency Clinic of Brandon saved our family dog! She is an 11 yo Boston Terrier who ate something that got lodged between her stomach and intestines. They performed the surgery and took care of our baby during her recovery. I would highly recommend this team for your animal emergency needs.

Our Dog eat a Ham steak bone last night. Called Animal Emergency Clinic of Brandon and they said bring him in. Got there around 9:00PM. Taken immediately, they explained what they needed to do and detailed the cost. Though it wasn’t cheap, it wasn’t as bad as it could be. We were lucky. Dr Otero came in after inducing Riley to throw up and sowed us all the content including the bone. Was able to bring Riley home and it only took a little over 1 hr. Thank you to the entire staff

I can’t thank the ENTIRE staff enough for saving my baby boy’s life!!!! Doobie was rushed into emergency surgery after our vet confirmed he had something stuck inside his intestines. Turned out he swallowed a piece of his toy and the string literally wrapped around his intestines. From the moment we got there, we were greeted by Brian which he was the absolute greatest with reassuring us and all that’s to be expected while also keeping us in the loop. Throughout the weekend we were able to visit however often we pleased as well as called for status updates. Never once did we feel bothersome. I owe this clinic my life!!!!!! I whole heartedly recommend this emergency vet, ESPECIALLY if you’re needing a small miracle to happen. ❤️

After 16 years with our golden retriever. We had to let her go. Though the process was difficult for our family the Animal Emergency Clinic staff was so considerate throughout it all even though it was under such a short time frame. From beginning to end they were so caring and they approached the situation with a level of sincerity and professionalism which made the process a lot easier for our family. I am glad that I took him here, because the price was the best I got quoted and the service was amazing. They did such a great job with my dog. They were so nice and careful with him. We love Animal Emergency Clinic of Brandon! We were just there tonight with our dog Bebe. We accidentally cut the quick when clipping her nails and the bleeding wouldnt stop. They stopped the bleeding and cleaned her up. This place is such a blessing! We also brought our cat Boots there for a plugged urethra and they were fantastic with him. Thank God our vet recommended this place! We will NOT go anywhere else!

Do not send your pet there! I brought my pet cat there because of her nose bleeding due to excessive sneezing and after checking her, the vet and technician told me was allergies and needed antibiotic shots and medication that will cost me $160 excluding the pet visit which is $80. I was told it was better to let her have antibiotic shots so that she would feel comfortable and not sneezing throughout the night and will stop the nose bleed. So I paid $120 for two shots which I didnt witness them administer to her because she was brought back into the back room to be administered the shots. I brought her back home and less than an hour she was sneezing in the car ride, sneezing out blood in my home. This morning I found her nose bleeding. When I called the clinic to express my disappointment and concerns, I was told by another receptionist that antibiotic shots doesnt work immediately, it will takes few days? What gives? Two different story and I felt that I being conned into thinking the shots will help my pet to feel better throughout the night and now, I was told a different story? I wouldnt go back again! NEVER!

We have taken our dachshund here twice now and both times we were very pleased. I see a lot of people complaining about the prices but honestly for an emergency vet I think their prices were good. & when he stayed over night, I picked him up and they had clipped his nails and helped us out with soft dog food FOR FREE we didn’t even say anything we were very thankful.I have called before cause my dog got a hold of some grapes and THEY HELPED ME AND SAID TO SAVE THE MONEY I could give him a certain dose a peroxide to get him to throw it up because that’s what they doThis last time my dog ate a bone and started acting really sick and of course they told me what can happen from bones and so before doing xrays or anything expensive she just felt his belly and told me that if the bone was stuck in his digestive track anywhere he would of been crying & he wasn’t. They told me he felt like his pancreas was swollen and they can do blood work to be 100% sure what’s going on and gave me the price. But to be on the safe side I told them to do an X-ray and of course the vet was right & BEFORE THEY DID ANYTHING ELSE they showed me the prices of everything & even “just in case” prices.

Over the years, we have used this emergency vet and they have always been top-notch and very concerned at the health and well being of our fur babies. There is no other place that my family and friends would ever use.

We couldn’t have been more happy with our experience. Dr. Otero, Juanita, Sarah were helpful and explained all of our options. We felt entirely taken care of and trusted that our pets best interest was in mind. We were afraid it would cost us a fortune but were pleased with both the service and the price.

Great staff that really cares about the animals they take in. I drove all the way here on thanksgiving with an injured bird my girlfriend found and they took her in and are going to find a sanctuary for her. All they asked of us was a discretiinary donation. if I could give them more stars I would. thank you to everyone that works there for what you do.

Had Dr Diaz look at our dog. He was very thorough and straight to the point. Had a good hands on approach and the tech Sarah was amazing. Would definitely recommend them as your care team.

Tonight is the 3rd time I have had to come to this Veterinary clinic later at night. I dont understand these negative reviews. Dr. Otero and his staff have always had a great bedside manor and have been extremely friendly and empathetic when it comes to my families pets! If youre worried about the expense of taking your pet to an after hours clinic than wait until the next day if its realistic. If you (or more importantly my wife and 3 kids) feel thats its an immediate necessity than by all means take care of your furry kids here by all means. All of my experiences with this clinic have been in the LOW $100s, not $1000+. I wouldnt go anywhere else to take care of our family members in an emergency situation!

The staff was amazingly compassionate and professional in my most difficult time as I said goodbye to my friend of almost 20 years. My situation became an emergency and the clinic was there for me on Sunday. The pricing was in line with what I expected for Sunday. I cannot say enough about the staff. I cant imagine a better experience for such a bad situation. Thank you!

Brought in my baby Astro due to fleas & loved the visit! Staff were great, very friendly to myself and Astro. I always worry about taking him to doctors due to being a young student, but they were very affordable!

Last night we went in needing help for our 14 year old miniature dash hound Romeo. He checked them quickly said he would be back came back in with a list of things he was needing to do we had blood work from a couple days prior he insisted on doing that plus giving him nausea medicine that was not needed cuz he had not been throwing up anymore we just end up leaving but he made sure to charge us for the minutes he took with him of $85 it was almost $900, we had decided to go across the street to Blue Pearl they were so much cheaper for the same stuff there price was dropped by $200 -$400. Come to find out it was something in his brain that was causing brain damage not his spinal cord like this office said as he looked at me and said this is just something were going to have to play with to see what it is ill do the intimidate then take him to your regular Vet.As we were leaving he came over to start negotiating the price down while telling us that everyone else was going to be more expensive its not true he knew what he was doing, shame on him. Unfortunately our decision was to put him down he was non-responsive due to other issues not back problems, but I just thought yall should know what you could be looking forward to.

Do not come here. I took my dog here and they let us leave with him thinking that the issue that he had was not as severe as it was. After calling a few different places, thats when we realized that the case has to be fixed as soon as possible, while they told us it could wait another 24 hours. If you end up going to this vet definitely get a second opinion as soon as possible.

I wish to highly commend U for Ur compassion and professionalism with my last two visits over the past few months. I regularly see my vet, but last two times out of his hour visits. U beat Blue Pearl tenfold. The Doctor there is highly intelligent and addressed all my needs. TU for being there for us. Ur great....Mine was not a good story as my Aids cat who we had been treating over 7 months a slow death with anemia and his blood clotting with his antibodies eating his red cells and totally stopped eating. U helped me when his fever a few months ago was sky high and this time I had to come to let him go to Rainbow Ridge. He was screaming and laying in mucus feces and we did every test, every food we tried to give him, everything and he finally said please Mommy, I am a very old man. Let me die. Stop forcing me to live was the hardest decision of my life, but U helped so compassionately to get me through this. U also treated my new rescue at 2.2 pounds when I first got him dripping with fleas and giardia. He is now a whopping 4.2 pounds and king of the castle. People like U make life nice for our fur babies. As for some other reviews I read, well all I will say is some people are ignorant in that they want their animals treated, but yet they dont want to pay the money or dont take the advice that the animals need to be treated. I just say if Ur not going all in then U probably dont deserve the animals anyways. These professionals here give good advice and they are straight to the point on what Ur animal needs to be cared of to get well. Some people just dont want to do all the tests, dont want to pay the money, so if their animal doesnt get well, it is no fault but theirs. I paid over 20 grand over seven months and did everything for my fur baby. U got animals...spend the money and stop complaining people.

Place is a money making scam. They charged me literally $1000 more on their quote than the emergency place in Tampa. Funny how their website is all mushy about animals, as long as the animals owner is rich and doesnt mind being scammed! Notice how quickly they come on here to defend themselves? What does that tell you?

I took my dog Fluffy to Dr. Otero in critical condition. Sara was very nice and understanding since I was not doing good. Dr Otero immediately took care of Fluffy and stabilized him. I am very happy with their service.

Animal Emergency Clinic of Brandon has recently taken care of both my ShihTzus. Peaches has congestive heart failure and is now on meds. And my boy Koko, had to be rushed in and was found to have multiple stones in his urethra. Both are now doing very well and I will always praise the care they received here. Doctors and staff dedicated to the well-being of our pets. I wouldn’t takes my pets anywhere in an emergency.

This place is horrible I took my dog here in an emergency because I did not want to have to drive far with his injuries, I payed the huge exam which is acceptable in an emergency. The money they charged to shave a piece of his fur be which if you and left, they should not work with animals if they have no empathy or compassion. This place was dirty. They gave me a quote that was tripled the price than I actually payed because they know when your desperate in emergency and love your dog you will pay. I ended up taking him to Tampa Bay emergency instead. I would not trust that Veterinarian operating on my dog. Worst bedside manner ever !!!Money is not a option in emergency for my 6 dogs, I always have gone to Tampa Bay emergency but I wanted a place in an emergency closer to home, to try to take advantage of people at the worst time is what I have a problem with.

I had to bring my dog Bruce here last night because he and another one of my dogs got into a fight. The tech, I cannot recall her name, was super friendly to both me and my dog. Dr. McCoy took care of my dog and did not insist on sutures for every little cut like other emergency vets have. When I couldnt afford it, the estimate was $678, they tried to help me get financial assistance but my credit is too bad. My parents who are out-of-state agreed to help and the tech was very friendly to my mother which we all appreciated. They took really good care of my baby and I will never go anywhere else. Dr Otero and the staff were wonderful taking care of my cat Monty after he was diagnosed with pancreatitis. He is back to his old self again. Thank you for helping my fur baby.

The technicians and female vet at this office were very kind and compassionate with my cat, but Dr. Otero does not show any care or compassion to the pet or owner. I was told I would decide how much I loved my cat if I was willing to pay astronomical charges. My baby was treated well by techs all of them gushed about how sweet she was, but I cant imagine ever going back simply because of Dr. Otero slack of caring.
