If I could leave less than 1 star, I would. A waste of time and money. Horrible service. Nothing was repaired after hundreds down the drain.
I was looking to get my TV repaired and saw geek squad offers the service, for most televisions even if its not bought at best buy, on the website for services they offer. So I go in and ask for an estimate for my TV and the gentlemen says we dont do TV repairs. Despite me telling him it was on the website but he said they dont do it. So either hes lying/misinformed or the website needs to be updated because thats false advertising.
Its horrific 2 hours later being shifted from 1 extension to another and finally someone that spoke English took care of me. A simple Geek Squad Service Plan.
This review is about geek squad, not the store it self, the store deserves 5 star review and i just wish that i could deal with the store staff only, but that is not the case.I have set an appointment today and it got canceled by the company assigned RR service something, i received no call back regarding my application, i called back at 840pm and someone picked up the phone and after few seconds placed me back on hold until 9pm sharp and hung up. Now i have no appointment, no call back, no representative that is willing to help, an ice maker that is making a pond in my kitchen and a yearly bill for professional services that i have been slapped by today. Very very very unhappy long term customer, i have never experienced this by geek squad, things have definitely changed with the company.

I was having an issue with my laptop. I gave them a description of what the issue was, and that I Google the issues and it mentioned it might be a battery issue. I told him once before I had a similar issue the Best Buy in Kissimmee checked it out to make sure what the issue was. The manager of the Geek Squad tells me that based on my description of the issue with my laptop that it would be a waste of his time to run a diagnostic, and he said it more than once.

Absolutely useless!! Transferred 6 times and not one single person can do anything you need or find out any information you need - oh - except transfer you to the next person who cannot help you. This despite having every paid Geek Squad service they offer! Just tried calling Best Buy and the recording said We have very high call volume right now and cannot take your call. Then the click from getting hung up on. WOW! Yes, a real business actually put that on their outgoing message on their answering service / system. This speaks volumes about their concern for customer service!!!...there is none! Used to depend on these folks to help support our business but not any longer. They are too big and in complete chaos now!
I called to ask about soldering a new wire to some headphones. I was informed by a technician named David that they cant actually repair an item like this because it is too complicated and they might break it more because it has a circuit board...!? If they consider soldering 3 wires too complex, I certainly would not trust them with any other (actually complex) devices.All of that being said, geek squad should not sell themselves as a repair service if all they can do is send things off for repair or encourage you to just replace it. It is just sad and misleading.
I spent $2600 on a TV that was supposed to be delivered on Wednesday. They showed up at the wrong address, and will not allow me to reschedule my appointment. Yesterday they said the TV would be returned to the warehouse and that i could reschedule today. Today, the representative begins by saying Youre not gonna like this, and proceeds to tell me to keep trying to call back every day to see if the TV is no longer in the transit status; along with I have no idea when you will get your TV. Horrible customer service! I just want what I paid for, or at least give me my money back and Ill gladly go elsewhere.

DO NOT I repeat, do not take your electronics here to this geek squad. They are unprofessional & the “supervisor” JOE, will argue back & hang up in your face. They are extremely rude & will try to make everything hard for you. You are better off calling corporate & taking your electronics 10-20 miles more far away to Tampa or other locations for better service.
I purchased a Geek Squad protection plan when I purchased a Roomba 3 years ago. Recently, when my Roomba’s wheels started falling apart, I brought it in to the Geek Squad. I honestly expected to have to fight with them for a repair, since the Roomba still technically worked, but they were super friendly and gave me a brand new Roomba right there in the store. The whole process took less than 10 mins. Definitely worth the $50 protection plan!
They are the nearest and best thing to having your own computer tech Support at a fraction of the cost. I love the Geeks!

Ive been to this Geek Squad about 3 times for problems with my laptop. Each time theyve been helpful. Be prepared to wait a bit in line, though.
