Be sure to make an appointment before going to the lab. Otherwise you’ll need to wait for an open slot. A simple drug screen took more than 1 hour to complete. The desk staff was very rude and inconsiderate of the patient’s time.

Normally I wouldve given them more stars because Ive never had an issue with this location, but I scheduled for routine blood work at this office yesterday only to arrive at my appointment time to find signs on the door that they have moved to the Bloomingdale Location.. Who does this??!!!?? Why are they still booking appointments at this location and its not even open. Of course that meant I had to reschedule my blood work and try to find a location that was going to have availability and not be so out of my way, as well as try to ensure my Dr. receives the labs before going to my appointment. This is HORRIBLE ON THEIR PART; and you can absolutely forget about anyone ever answering the phone at any locations, just ridiculous!!!!!

I have no idea why you make an appointment. Even with a noon appointment I sat here for over 45 minutes.

Rude staff, had an appointment scheduled in advance and was seen after walk-ins that came in after me. If youre not going to see appointments at their scheduled time, dont offer appointments.

The wait times even with an appointment were absurdly long, but the staff working was very patient and friendly, albeit OVERWORKED! Hire more staff, y’all are always busy!

Every time I go there, which has been unfortunately often, lately, I have a very good experience. I have seen workers scrubbing the chairs and walls every time. And the ladies who work the front desk are professional. The phlebotomists do a very good job and they are quick and follow procedures properly.

I have never had an issue with this location .

My three year old son is currently sitting in the car because they will not allow him in here with me. The mobile check in was useless as I’m currently sitting here waiting after being told to come in because the rude receptionist had no record of my check-in. This place is trash.

They were unable to take my kid’s blood for Culture test and they have not returned co-pay. If you are not done the task for which you have taken the money, you have to return that.

This place is horrible! Find another location to have labs! I filed a complaint as well!Their waiting room is over packed with people (which is not complying with Covid 19 guidelines)When I asked if I could wait outside, I was rudely told, I would lose my place in line, and when I tried to get sanitizer for me and my immune compromised child, all “9” sanitizer bottles were completely out! Nothing to sanitize my hands with. If we can’t get the basics to keep people safe, how do I know safety and Heath rules are being followed with needles and bodily fluids? Somebody please go check this place out, and fix the issues!

I take my grandmother for labs at this location and the service is fast and the staff is very professional.

Appointment was for 11am for simple urine analysis, the young lady at the desk was efficient and checked me in quickly. Sitting with a very full bladder, they finally called my name at 11:40am

Got here at 9:30am because the hours on the door show that is when they open for employment drug testing. I arrived promptly at 9:30 and I’m told that the one and only employee that is able to do drug screening is going to be going to lunch so it would be after 11am before I’d be seen. Apparently the hours on the door are old and could have been there much earlier.

Eloise was AMAZING! We talked about her family and she made the blood draw process very easy. Even though I got stuck 3 times it was comfortable since Eloise gave me a bed and water. She is very experienced and compassionate!

I just went to LabCorp at 10:00 a.m. and this is how I walked out and I came straight home to take photos this is unacceptable and this also hurts. also the lady failed to ask me if I was allergic to anything which I am Im allergic to latex and adhesive and this wrap has latex in it. Im very unsatisfied.

No one picked up when trying to make an appointment. When I got to the facility the lady working the front desk was very rude (this was expected if you read other comments). I asked her after checking in how long the wait was for a urine test. I was told 20 min. I waited well over an hour. This is the worst place I’ve been to get a urine test for a potential employer. My advice would be to drive a little further to get better service.

Eloise at the front desk kept stating that she had no idea how to work the front desk because that was not her normal job and then refused to take me for my appointment. When I asked for a number to call to speak with an office manager she refused and wouldnt allow the other staff members to give me the number. The other ladies at the front desk were as helpful as they could be with this lady leering at them. She has no right to work in customer service.

Today is my sons 7th birthday and he had to go in for bloodwork for his sleep doctor. The women who treated us were absolutely amazing! He was so scared and they sang him happy birthday and made it so much fun for him despite having to be stuck with a needle.

I adore *most* of the ladies at this office! With the exception of the grumpy, mean, old lady, all of their staff r wonderful! They do their best to get you in and out, even when they r understaffed. Amanda is my woman and drew my labs last month and didn’t even leave a mark! And the office manager brandy is awesome cuz she always has a smile on her face and she is as sweet as pie when I come in and she always asks me how I’m doing. I hate getting blood done but when I do I kno my ladies in Brandon have my back (or my arm rather hehehe)

This place is a joke. The girl who answered the phone was very rude. I asked if she could check to see if my doctor had sent over my lab order request, she flat out said no, Im with a patient and put me on hold. The problem I have with that is, she could have said something like, Im sorry, Im with a patient can I place you on hold. Not, No Im with a patient. I have no clue what you are doing or who you are with when I call. And it got worse-when she coughed into my ear, rather loudly, and started talking over me. I said, you are very rude and of course she wanted to argue and then preceded to tell me she was having a hard time hearing me and when I said, Im calling from a pediatric office and our phones are fine, she said its her phone, that her cord was tangled up ???? This is your excuse for rudeness???? Being in the medical field myself, I try not to complain and just go with the flow. However, not this time. I will not refer to this office again.

Well....They replaced that rude lady with a young woman who is cheerful and pleasant, so I have nothing bad to say about them today. And the young woman who took my blood sample was as nice as she could be!! The front desk person was not very nice or helpful. She didnt want to help a older lady with self check in. She acted like she had something better to do then the job she is paid to do.

The only downside was a hour wait for my appointment. Besides that the staff was experienced, courteous, and respectful. It is not something I enjoy doing. It would be nicw if they had more than 2 employees in the back doing labs.

Told an hour wait without an appointment. So I leave and make an appointment for another day, to still wait AN HOUR PLUS! The employees have poor time management that is extremely evident in the way that they are still completing paperwork on a previous patient for 2-3 minutes after checking them in before calling the next patient in line to check in. And taking at least 5 minutes to check a patient in. They have no sense of urgency, as if the patients coming in do not have a life outside of waiting in the office. Then if thats not enough, I go to the back where the woman had me lock my belongings in the lock box only to have me get them back out to produce my ID, to then have to print and reprint the papers I had to sign multiple times due to some issue. I tried to be patient, I really did. But this was just too much. A clear lack of organization.

I was a bit concerned about going to this office after reading so many negative reviews. Perhaps, it was our timing. Since it was not fasting or urgent bloodwork, able to go at 1130am on a Friday. After checking in at the kiosk, went to the desk as we knew wed need Dr. order faxed, number was politely provided. While waiting on the fax, observed numerous non problematic encounters at the reception desk. Most seemed due to receptionist desk in sight line from front door. One must check in at a kiosk, which are located off to the side corner. One person just couldnt sign in, someone came out to help her.

Customer service is sorely lacking. Waited over an hour for a pre-employment drug screen, with absolutely zero acknowledgement. Went to the front desk to ask how much longer it would be, and the girl said she didn’t know. She came back to me in the lobby a few minutes later and said I should have come to the desk and given my paperwork to someone a long time ago. Their sign at their desk literally states: “Please check in at the kiosks located in the right side of the lobby and then have a seat. We will call you up to the window shortly.” Perhaps their sign should state different instructions. Choose a different location if you have to go to a LabCorp. This has been terribly unprofessional, unhelpful, and completely inefficient.

This is my first 1 star review on Google - ever. This place is so awful Im surprised people still use this location. I walked in after my doc asked for blood work. I can use any lab with my insurance, but this location was closest. I walked into a packed room filled with very miserable looking people. I asked the lady in reception how long the wait was and she told me 2 hours. It was 130pm - they close at 3pm... Are some people not going to be seen once they close? That was my first thought... Anyway, I said Id come back another time and she perked right up and said, Good! She was fairly rude and was playing with her cell phone while Im trying to ask questions.Im going to Qwest - they dont do this nonsense. Im so glad I have a choice in labs so I never have to choose Labcorp.

They have a contract with a company to do their exams but they want you to make an appointment. Whereas I have been to a differnet lab where they were kind and professional, this location turns patients away to drive to another location 18 minutes away. Just to do a urine test.The location only had 7 people and the girl at the front was happy to be telling me that it was only by appointment.

By far the worst location of all the Labcorps in the Tampa metro area. Avoid this location at all cost. Waited here for 4 hrs. I couldve gone to see Avengers Endgame come back and still be waiting. Honestly the one star is way too high of a compliment for this location.

Woman in the front window is absolutely dreadful! I know its early in the morning but no excuse to be so rude! I asked a simple question about paperwork and the way she responded was down right nasty!! I work in a medical office and deal with patients all day. There is no excuse for this behavior. To be a medical facility, I am shocked!All 3 hand sanitizer did not work in lobby, the hand soap in the drug testing area was empty, let along the toilet tissue sat on a counter where everyone touches it and so does the paper towels. Infection Control People. I m sure this is in violation of some state reg. The staff was friendly. Flu season is here, be careful you will catch germs.

Julissa at the front desk is very unpleasant. I am totally in awe as a company, that nothing has been done to address the dissatisfaction with the service that is being provided. Super slooooooooooow (Arrived at 11:54, 2 hours and counting) for walk in. Its almost like that sham with appointments at theme parks for quicker front of line service. You would think that someone from the company would actually care about there reputation and saw all the negative reviews and tried to change it. But they could care less just like the front desk staff. I would put no stars if possible. Its now 2:03 pm and still no light at end of tunnel to be called in.

Three phlebotomists called in “sick” on a Saturday, 4/28/18, and they were 2 1/2 hours behind! However, a huge shout out to Melanie, who was incredibly nice even though many people were angry. These 3 “sick” employees need to be held accountable.

There was another gentlemen there for the same thing and the woman giving the urine test yelled into the bathroom are you doing it ... if not come on outta thereWe practically went back there together he may have been in there a minute if that.The two women giving myself and the other gentlemen the urine tests continued to argue over who was doing what job and when. This was the most uncomfortable environment Ive ever been in. This place really needs to get their ish together.

This place is awful. I made an appointment so I wouldnt have to sit here for an excessive amount of time, yet its been over an hour and I still havent been called. People make these appointments to come in on their lunch breaks because some of us are busy and dont have days off to get these things done. Its absolutely ridiculous and they either need to hire more staff or get a little 101 lesson on time management skills.

I have a standing order. Today I arrived at 7 : 20 with a 7 : 30 appointment and walked out at 7 : 50 . I bruise easily and today I dont even have a needle. Only 2 techs working in the back. I would have given them a 0 star out of 5 If i could. had an appointment at 10 walked in signed in sat down next to a woman who said she had an appointment as well, and she had been waiting there for 2 hours. They were so many people complaining about waiting so long, that the girl at the front desk actually got up and walked out and hid in the back. After waiting a half-hour and they still had not even asked for my script I got up and walked out. I didnt have the time to sit around. thats why I made the appointment.

Have changed to appointment only facility in June. Staff are no longer overwhelmed and were extremely kind and helpful.

Do not go there for a UA unless you want to wait 2 hours to hold your pee.

It’s really sad that I made appt for my fiancé on Tuesday for the Friday after thanksgiving for 9:15am! We come half hour early, have to sign in, I then go up to the desk and tell the lady we have a confirmation number, she says log in then we’ll call you and you can give it to me then! Well people coming in after us, are getting called before us, and we are totally being blowed off. The lady wasn’t even nice rude as hell! My suggestion is to pick another location and not come here! Went on a Saturday, no appointment. I did expect to wait a while but after 90 minutes I went to the counter to find out they skipped my name and went to the next page. I will find another lab for my business.

The lady at the front desk was so rude. She kept telling me my kids need their own insurance card and gave me an attitude about it. Ive never had any problem with any places ever! And then as she was scanning the prescription the printer got paper jammed and she was loading the paper she threw the paper along the window and banged the printer. Umm..hate life much ? And as we say back down and waited another 15 minutes even though I had an appointment then she tells me that I need to call the insurance company and make sure my kids are dependents... What ?? I just left. Worse place ever! It was my first time at this office and never will I come back.

BEWARE. This location is now APPOINTMENT ONLY as of June 1st 2017. If you dont realize this and drive 30 minutes for bloodwork for your CHILD who is FASTING, they will NOT care and will tell you too bad and point to their sign. I honestly dont know how anyone works for this company.

Front desk service is terrible, they are not helpful and treat people very poorly by yelling at them. Front desk staff is not patient at all. With the check-in kiosk they have a lot of steps can be missed and theyll just blame you for not knowing how it works when the instructions to scan a barcode are not at the kiosk.

Hello my complaint is that I was greeted by the only front desk personal working a busy packed lobby. I dont know if she didnt like that i looked irritated because i am 31 weeks pregnant and was starving due to a 1 hr gest screen i was there for but all the sign in kiosks were down at 8am, and there was a long line . I waited tired but patiently for her to ask me what i was here for and since this isnt the same rountine at the tampa lapcorp location i usually attend, i ask what she needed from me. At that point i was told that she didnt need my attitude ???which i have worked in the medical community and customer service my entire life and was absolutely appalled by the way she snapped at me . I could she she seemed tired and overwhelmed by the volume of patients in the lobby but the tone and derogatory comments she said in front of all your paying patients/customers could havebeen handled differently, if that was someone representing my place business. I dont believe she gave me her correct name she then refuse to help me period and let 5 more people that were behind me get service first. While totally talking to me like I was nothing and told me to wait til someone from the back would give me the info to another location. I politely asked her name and and the first intial to her last name for the purpose of this review and she refused the later. She said her name was julissia but i dont really know if she was lying or not being that i told her i would have to let a supervisor know of the behavior. Because if it was me and my place of business, I wouldnt didnt want someone speaking to anyone in such a tone in a full lobby. She was young African-American girl with glasses wearing a white scrub top with purple designs and her glasses had gold embellishments on the sides. Everyone has bad days but that type of behavior in a full lobby and the unprofessional way, she handled the situation really hurt and stress me out . As someone that has had to deal with many irrational, angry, crazy ect. patients in pain cannot cosign that type of behavior. Last point is people coming into a medical facility could have 2 days to live could have cancer could literally have anthing going on in their life, that you could never know just from a 5 words exchange. As medical professionals, we are supposed to treat all patient regardless of race religion etc. the exact the same and I felt very distressed and hurt that she attacked me in such a way. Hopefully she can get some understanding that working in customer service is not always peaches but if you dont like the job you should probably find another line of work . Her name she gave me was julissa supposedly and she was the only worker i saw other than the blonde older lady that helped me by not handing me a professional labcorp pamphlet with the surrounding location, but asked me to take a photo of a printout which also seem very unprofessional. I went to take a pre-employment drug screen at the LabCorp location in Brandon, Fl. I took the paperwork provided and went in and approached the two employees at the desk. At first, they said nothing as they were too busy having a conversation instead of doing their jobs. Finally, one spoke and asked what I was there for and I stated a pre-employment drug screen at which she barked we dont take walk-ins. There were no such instructions on the paperwork stating I needed an appointment. I tried to give her the paperwork from my employer she ignored it I then asked for the number for complaints and her name. She reluctantly provided the number and said her name was Tamela. When I asked what her last name was she stated that she was the only Tamela there. I called and complained was told Id hear back from a supervisor shortly. That never happened. Thankfully because of my insurance I have Quest Diagnostics which is much more professionally run.

This was the worst lab experience Ive had in my life. I got there exactly on time for my appointment for a pre-employment urine drug testing. I signed in at the front desk to a rude receptionist. The entire waiting room seating was full. Finally after 2.5 hours of waiting, I was finished giving the sample only to be chastised by an inefficient test administrator for not having been given instructions on the exact protocol when I had arrived. They even threatened to invalidate the whole test because I washed my hands before she sealed the container because in theory I could have looked away to wash my hands and destroyed the chain of custody. Overall, the staff was exceptionally rude and completely inefficient.

I was nervous about going here after reading the reviews. Fortunately my experience was not so bad. I had a scheduled appt and was in and out within 20 minutes. Staff was tough but softened up a bit after a few minutes of talking to them. Office space was clean. This is now an APPT ONLY location (EFFECTIVE 6/1/17)! Do not go here if you do not have an appt, you will be turned away!

It was 2:10, I told her what the other nurse said and she said she will talk to her, it has been over 45 mins and she has not got off her fat lard.
