Susy was above an beyond she was GREAT .I was alittle worried its been awhile since Ive had anything done to my hair an its pretty long, she put a spiral perm in my hair so you know that takes along time anyways .But it turned out great I love it but I did make appointment but she was by her self an being in Walmart people are stopping to ask questions the phone is ringing plus the electric went off for a couple min that was crazy . But she did a great job thank you again susy hope u have a great day

I had the best experience at the salon. The manager, Jamie, did my high lights and was ON POINT! This girl knows her stuff! I was not only impressed with her knowledge of hair, but her management skills were very impressive. I observed as I sat there processing, watching her with her staff and other customers that came in and I am glad that I had her do my hair. I would recommend her to anyone who wants things done right. The rest of the staff was very accommodating to everyone that came in. I will definitely go back time and time again.

Ive been here several times. I had a poor experience before with the male hairsylist. But when I met and was cared for by Kai that changed the game. She was very nice, receptive, and quick. I have by far had some of the best hair experiences with Kai!!!

Worst service ever. I came in for an appointment with Shay and she never showed up. I waited for 20 minutes and she never came in. She never even contacted me or the salon to let us not that she wasnt coming in. When I got up to leave the leading stylist did not even try to call her to see where she was. She just said okay to me leaving. I drove an hour to make it to this hair appointment for nothing. Every time Ive ever came to this salon Ive always received C+ service, but I tried to give other people a try. I will never go back to this hair salon again.

The worst experience I’ve ever had in any salon. Very poor customer service. The 5 star reviews must be friends or family. Never again even if I’m dead broke!

Its Walmart..what can I say

Ive been getting my haircut hear for over 10 years. Why? Because nobody else can do simple cuts. Ive tried and tried and tried to find anyome close so i have options and every other place fails. The only issue is this is in a Walmart so there is usually one or two rotating stylists but the mainstays are always there and are allways professional.

I always enjoy my visits to Smartstyle. I get a great cut from EJ and all the staff make it feel like Im visiting friends.

I came in with my hair been a mess....Didnt know what to do....but when Kai S. came to me very kindly, friendly and explained me what were my options...i didnt hesitate.... Because while i was waitin i saw a few persons lookin for her. .and tryin to get their hair done with her....she did a fantastic job.....i was so happy...i couldnt believe my eyes, very professional and very friendly...I will definitely give her my 5 stars...No doubts !!

I dyed my hair from a medium brown to blonde from a box, however, my hair is thick and long so naturally I missed a few spots. Instead of trying to fix it myself I figured I would just have a salon fix it and then cut my hair. They told me that I couldnt go blonde without bleaching my hair even though most of my hair was already blonde. When I told them I covered most of the brown from a box they just repeated that blonde color wont cover my brown spots. So they obviously know nothing about coloring hair. I still let her cut my hair and I wanted the choppy layer look like Ashley Simpson from 7th heaven and she just put layers in my hair and she cut my hair dry!!!!!!! She put no time or effort in my hair. I will never go back. Ive had really great experiences at Wal-Mart hair salons bit this was terrible.

I had been to smartstyle salon in walmart which is in causeway Blvd Brandon. I had a coupon and I checked with the stylist about the validity of that coupon before I took my service. I was said that the coupon was valid, but after I took the service the stylist said she could not apply the coupon. Also the stylist Kai.S from whom I took my service was also not receptive. I had a very bad time at this salon and had to pay additional bucks from my pocket in spite of the coupon.

She messed up my son’s hair and she didn’t know what she was doing and she was rude to my ten year old son when he wasn’t happy about his haircut. I am never going there again.

The WORST!!!! Period. Awful costumer service!! The lady (Hispanic) is absolutely rude, disrespectful, have no idea how to attend a costumer..... thank God I found a REAL salon not a JOKE!! Where all in there look and act like clowns.
