Fine yet focus selection of affordable flooring. But be prepared to do your homework ahead of time, and know exactly what you want when you get there. Otherwise theres no real expert consultation available, staff really seem more concerned with getting you out the door.

We had an unacceptable experience. The company insisted they will NOT email our quote, we must come in the showroom. When I finally received the quote, a week later, they had quoted me on a more expensive floor than we had originally requested and was put in the system. They added services that we did not need or request . I was told they prefer customers to come in for their $25.00 quote because it can be confusing. The estimate was itemized and very easy to read. What was NOT on the itemized quote was my $25.00 credit towards materials and labor.We were forced to speak to an assist manager onl about these issues, who has no authorization to rectify any of this issues. I would NOT hand them more money. We lost trust in them.We lost our $25.00 measuring fee. Better than loosing thousands of dollars to them. Be aware!Bad management at this store.
We went to this location on a Sunday afternoon and Lauri was there. She was not nice, we could barely ask her something because she just wanted to charge us right away. When I asked her for an opinion on something she just said “i don’t do installations” and when I was double checking if she got the right color of what we needed she said “i work here”. Got what I needed but not a good experience.
I placed the order more than 3 months ago they told me will take 2 weeks . Every time I call they said call next week . No one can give me the answer . Every time I called the same answer. Finally after more than 3 months arrived half of the stuff is wrong . Worst experience.

The floor we had installed has buckled due to poor installation. I have been waiting for 2 months to get it fixed. The manager of the Braintree store will not return my calls. She put me in touch with the company to fix the problem but they cannot do anything until they get”corporate” approval.
They immediately helped me, were very knowledgeable about flooring with my type of floors. Great help from Laurie!
My experience working with Roberto, the Assistant Manager was terrific. He explained the various products along with the best applications for each and was very patient as well as thorough with my questions. Im very happy with my final choice. They are scheduled to measure at my house although it isnt required and look forward to installation. Great prices and quality too.
Some of the people here are really nice. Some arent. They made a mistake with my paperwork because the sales person lied and said I had stated that I was going with another company for part of my flooring install. To this day they insist Im lying but why would I? I NEEDED flooring in. It just irks me that a sales associate can lie like that and that I was made into a villain and called a liar. The store manager was cold. The only helpful person was the lady who does billing. Laurie. Everyone else was awful. Kevin was the sales associate. He was helpful up until he lied. He could have called to clarify with me if he wasnt sure. Anyway. The flooring that did get put down is nice. Ill post a picture.
I have to admit, Ive had two good experiences with this store, but its the one time that something goes wrong that really makes you pull your hair out. I placed an online order, called the store as instructed by the website to confirm availability of product and that it was ready for pickup. The store said no problem. I showed up and there was only one person in the store who was on the phone with a customer. After waiting 15 minutes for him to finish, he looked up my order only to tell me that I owed a balance. I reminded him that it was an online order and that I had already paid. He called his store support line and after waiting on hold for 10 minutes the agent who answered couldnt figure out what went wrong and said hed have to call the store back later. I was sent on my way without my order and no promise of a call or e-mail when my order was ready. I called the following afternoon to see if my order issue had been resolved, no answer and so I left a voicemail. Waited 2 hours and got no callback. Called again, someone answered and confirmed my payment finally processed and my order was ready for pickup. So after two trips and lots of waiting I will finally have my order. Not really a story of convenience, and hardwood flooring isnt cheap, so it would be nice to show a little compassion for the working stiff who has to save up months to buy your product.

No handicapped parking. Getting a wheelchair in door very difficult due threshold, someone must hold door open as well. We went on a Sat to choose flooring but I had yet to hear from their installers who they put in a request for the previous Thursday - they come out to measure. I had done my research from how thick the wear layer should be, expansion contraction, toxic emissions from the materials etc. We wanted Luxury Vinyl Plank. Kevin was laid back and didnt miss a beat answering my questions. Samples are free, we took 3, always view them in your home, theyll look very different than under fluorescent lighting. We are now set on our choice, Kevin re-emailed the installers so they called that day. Their flooring installer Gary came Monday. He does not give any info on installation fees etc, just sends his measurements to the store and they figure it out. FYI, the installers do not bring your flooring, you have to pick it up or have it delivered at quite a fee, it needs to sit and acclimate a few days in the room its to be installed in. They do NOT move furniture and while they will charge 94.25 to pull up a carpet in an 11 x 12 room, they will NOT take it away, despite it clearly saying Haul Away on bill. Since the installer wanted to come in and do the flooring in one swoop, we were no longer able to juggle furniture around for doing the rooms a week or two apart as the store said we could. All the 1 star reviews became very clear. Absolute disconnect in what the store tells you and what the installers actually do. We decided on a ONE bedroom install, 206 sq ft, and product only for the other 2 that well have to do ourselves. Then we get another surprise on the bill - a $400 minimum click floor fee on top of a $652.34 Installation fee. Since the room is under 300 Sq ft they add another $400 without telling you, for a total install fee of $1052.34 on top of the 1.97 sq ft product, plus 1/4 round surround, door transitions etc. I found my own flooring professional after all this gibberish and snotty comments from Brandon. My pro did ALL 3 rooms perfectly for $1300 including pulling up the carpet and taking it away! More savings as this pro properly undercut the baseboards and slid the floor under, Lumber Liquidators people put the floor down then glue quarter round to the baseboard - heck no! Brandon was difficult to deal with, footage was miscalculated, he couldnt understand the line entries. I tried for the manager but she was worse, says shell call you back and doesnt.My advice, truly, is do your research, we got Brazilian Cherry Luxury Vinyl Plank and love it. No toxic fumes like the class action suit against them a few years ago, look for the green seals. Bring it home yourself and find another installer, I chose mine from Home Advisor. Id buy product from them again but Id deal with the store as little as possible, it was a headache that went from the rediculous to the sublime.
Unprofessional and sloppy work like this should never be looked at as a job well done. I would not recommend Lumber Liquidators to to lay a strip of clear tape on a sheet of paper. Almost a year later they attempted to fix the problem after he being persistent. How many other people have they left hanging? Dont let it be you.
