I brought my 2018 Ford Escape in for a short block engine repair in July 2021. The service representative told me that it would be several weeks due to a parts shortage. I understand - industries are still recovering from the pandemic. Luckily the repair is covered by my PowerTrain warranty. Unfortunately they cannot offer me a rental car because they “don’t do that.” Oh and I can’t keep my car on the lot because they don’t have room but it’s not safe to drive so fingers crossed I make it home (I did).Fast-forward to September 2021, about 8 weeks later. During this time the parts arrived but crucial pieces were missing. The pieces were ordered and may be here this week but who can say (and if they do arrive, will they all be accounted for?). We asked again about a rental car, no dice. I contacted Ford corporate who said that there are ways to get money for a rental car through the dealer. I discuss my options with the service manager who curtly replies that I need to contact Ford for this authorization and kindly reminds me that he is dealing with countless customers at the moment. I returned to Ford corporate - again, it’s the discretion of the dealer. Eight weeks. No car. No loaner or help obtaining a rental car. No idea when my car will be fixed as it sits, unable to make the 25mi trek to work, in my driveway. Built Ford Tough, indeed.Thanks to the Ford warranty my car will be fixed for free whenever Herb Chambers Braintree gets around to it. The warranty guarantees free service but remember folks: you get what you pay for.***Quick update - we are working with the service manager for a repair and rental discount for Monday (9/27). I am optimistic and will update the review once all is said and done.

Spent a great deal of time here today after they called me to tell me they had my long desired ford bronco sport. Everyone was so polite and helpful . In less than 5 hours, I met them, did a great test drive and signed the papers to pick up the car on Friday. Im very happy with my experience!

Originally brought my truck in August for repairs, everyday for over a week I was told the parts are on their way. Its covid so I understand delays. I ask for loner vehicle since the delay is on them, no luck. After a week and half, I finally go and get my vehicle because there is no time frame for when the parts will come in. Fast forward to end of September and finally got repaired. Additionally, what was really frustrating was service tech said my warranty company takes forever to pay so I would have to pay and get reimbursed for the work. After agreeing to pay, service department did work prior to the warranty company approving the work costing me money on work they would have otherwise funded. The kicker to all of this is the warranty company said they pay by credit card and not check, and that Chambers refused the credit card forcing me to wait weeks for a refund check for the portion of work the company did pay for.

I have been there couple times before. I scheduled my appointment in advance informing the reason for the required service. When I got to the center the technical service person told me that she did not have enough personnel to perform the service. Then he told me to go check with the supply person if I had the spare tire I need, and according to availability schedule a new appointment. I went to this person, and he told me that he needs to know the size of the tire, the truck was outside and I dont know how to read tires. His response was that he had no one to look. Terrible service.

Overall an excellent experience. Check-in was easy. Marcelo listen to my description which is not always the case at Ford. In the past I have felt like I should just allow them to run the diagnostic test as they believed I had no clue what was going on with my vehicle. The follow-up was timely and the best best news was it was less than anticipated. Overall o am happy with my repair and will be back in the future.

I had my car serviced and overall had a really good experience. When I went here, they were particularly busy so I did have longer wait times. Everything else was great! The staff was good, they did a good job working on my car, and all my questions were answered. I would recommend Ford drivers go here!

I drove to Boston from Kansas to visit family and thought there was an issue with my F150. Jacob in service scheduled me late on a Saturday to look at the truck. The techs evaluated the issue, determined it wasnt critical and asked if I would like to have the oil changed since it was due. The price of the diagnostics and oil change were very reasonable and I felt they were trustworthy during the entire process. The professorialism, courtesy, friendliness. and accommodation were first class. Would highly recommend the service department!

They had my truck for 8-days and couldn’t fix the backup camera. Pretty sure it sat for a week then they tried to fix it at the last minute. Can’t get them on the phone, they won’t answer email or text. Recommend you take your Ford elsewhere.

My rep was empathetic to my issue which entailed being scheduled on the wrong day. I was scheduled to have my sunroof serviced but apparently the specialist only works on Tuesdays. So why was I scheduled on a Wednesday? Despite the conflict, he assisted in making a better day. Thanks!

He called me back and made sure everything was set for my appointment. He introduced me to Dave the mechanic that was doing the recall correction. Dave explained everything that needed to be done. My experience with Herb Chambers Ford was great. I put a deposit on a vehicle and my salesman Omar was very helpful and informative. As soon as my vehicle came in he let me know and got all my paperwork and everything started so when I went to pick it up everything was a quick turnaround. The finance manager Jessica was fantastic as well. She was extremely friendly and made the whole process seamless. I would recommend Herb Chambers Ford to anybody who might be in the market for a new or used vehicle.

Talked to Shannon over the phone to get pricing on a Mustang Mach-E. I told them that I was willing to wait for the factory order and can place order via them the same day. They asked me to come to the dealership to get the exact pricing. The dealership was a ghost town. I didnt see a single customer. It was just regular employees gossiping and it looked like me coming in disturbed their chit chat. When asked about the pricing, they quoted 10k higher than MSRP even when I said I can wait for the factory order. When I asked why, they said thats how it is (so called dealer markup). If they could have given me the same info over the phone that would have saved so much time. Working in a car dealership is one of the most simplest job. My 4 yr old can do it. I dont know anyone can mess it up. It just shows that low IQ folks dont know the value of time. Time and Money have a trade-off. Working in a car dealership will give you ample time.

My lease was up and I needed to re-lease a vehicle quickly. Having worked in the business previously I knew what to expect at all of the dealerships I stopped into and it was exactly what everyone hates. Not at Herb Chambers Ford. It was quick, easy, no back and forth. They were also the only dealership that offered to evaluated the lease vehicle that I was coming out of as a trade rather than me turning it in and the dealership just purchasing it after the fact. I ended up with the vehicle I wanted and a payment less than what I was expecting. Who wouldnt be happy about that! Thank you.

It was horrible. I went in knowing that i needed a replacement starter. They check my car and said that the starter was completely fine and but that i needed a few different things replaced. I spent over $500. My car now will not start and i had a person check it, only for them to say my started needs to be replaced. I am stuck 3 hours away from home and Ford will not tow my car to get check. They’re making me pay full price for a new started when that’s WHAT I INITIALLY NEEDED FIXED AND THEY DISMISSED IT. They said they can’t give me a discount on the service i need and there’s nothing they can do about it. Jake was completely rude and yelling at me and would not offer me any type of help or listen to my concerns. I WOULD NOT recommend Braintree Ford to anyone.

Very disappointed with the sales staff, especially Lisa Chamberlain. I was working with her to trade my vehicle and I drove an hour and twenty minutes to finish the deal and they sold the truck I was interested in buying. No attempt was made to call me before I drove all the way there. In fact I received a text at 10:35 AM telling me that she was looking forward to my appointment at noon. Too bad there isn’t a rating less than 1 star.

The truck was dropped off on July 14th and returned to me on Sept 8th due to parts issues(over 50 days). Less than 24 hour of having the truck back the same problem is happening. Very frustrating…. Now I have to fight with Ford to get another rental and find out what’s wrong with the truck.The one positive thing was the service advisor A.J. as he kept me posted and worked hard to get me a car rental.

My service technician Patrick was great. I booked an appointment for transmission and coolant fluid change and dropped my F150 off for the day. I was very disappointed when Patrick explained to me the machine for changing the coolant fluid was not working. So now I will have to book another appointment and be without my vehicle for another full day because coolant changes are not available on Saturday. While I understand that equipment can fail, Herb Chambers made no effort to remediate this problem.

I must say. I am disappointed by Braintree Ford Service Dept at this point. I have been waiting for parts that are needed for my fleet vehicle going on 3 weeks. when I call them again this week, I was told by the rep, he forgot to order the parts. How are they back ordered and now you say you forgot to order them. a trani mount, centre tail light assembly and recall brake parts. what gives Braintree Ford. not acceptable by any means.

Bought a van from them and serviced few times, they recently have alignment promotion and the car is due to alignment,so I decided to do a tire alignment, waited for 2 and half hour for oil change and alignment, but at checkout, they cant provide me alignment report and told me the printer is broken.... finally, they gave me a half baked report with top ripped off. I thought they are few okay apples left, but I guess Im wrong and they are too lazy to hide anymore. Also, my engine requests 5w30, on the 1sr bill,it states as 5w20,but they told me they put in 5w30 and have to change the bill. What a mess!

Pretty standard car dealership all around. My sales representative, Omar Ananbeh, on the other hand was nothing short of exceptional. Omar went above and beyond to save the sale after an unmemorable individual from the back office almost tanked the whole transaction over approximately $500 in document fees (which are an absolute sham in my opinion and only reason I gave the review 4 stars). Omar even went so far as to drive over an hour to my home to have my wife sign all the necessary paperwork. Service like that is rare these days and highly commendable. I would do business with Herb Chambers dealerships again in the future but expect business as usual from the folks behind the desk out back.

Take a good look at the car you are buying . I bought a used Ford Edge . Drove the car off there lot and stopped to look at car 10 minutes after leaving . Noticed the back rotors . Drove car back not a 1/2 hour after leaving . They took it to another location to look at rear brakes . Came back and salesman says that year just wears that way . We then took it to there onsite service dept. A service rep tells me they will wear correctly once i put some miles on them . I said you are wrong !! they put on new rotors and pads . After driving 800 miles front brakes started grinding and steering wheel was shaking . When i applied brakes at high speed . Brought it back for a 7am appointment . Finally at 8:45 they said we are replacing front brakes . Waisted time at dealership a little over 4 hours . Why would Herb sell me a car, that needed all 4 brakes replaced ?? BEWARE !! I wish i did not have to give them 1 star !!

Unfortunately Google doesn’t let you give zero stars but, Ford herb chambers tried to ruin my car and over charge me of repairs. I brought my car in for a ANOTHER recall on my Ford Escape and for an oil leak, a nail in my tire and a gas issue. After two days of having my car Ford completed the recall and told me they couldn’t find the nail in the tire and charge me $180 for a diagnostic and was telling me that repair would cost 1900 dollars. When I came to pick up my car I got no diagnosis report I had to call separately and asked for it to be sent to me because it was not given it to me upon my arrival they did not inform me about my battery showing weakness. Which was also very odd because the last time I brought my car there for yet another recall they stated that they gave me a new battery. And still after two days could not find a single nail in my tire, five minutes after pulling out the lot the low tire pressure light came on. After bringing my car to be repaired by a better qualified mechanic. He kept me fully updated on the repairs of my car and he let me know that there were screws that were loosened around my axle and overtime would have caused damage to my car which was not an issue until I brought it into Ford in Braintree. He also found a circular hole in my oil tubing which he said was not from wear and tear but just small enough for an issue. Also before bringing my car to Ford in Braintree I never had a problem with my gas tank and pumping gas but soon after I started experiencing issues while pumping gas. Which was stated to be fuel pressure sensor failure. I was completely dissatisfied with their work or lack of and unimpressed with their customer service. Definitely would not recommend this place to have your car serviced. Thank God for my repair man for being upfront and honest and not greedy. And for also finding the nail in my tire that I did not even tell him about because Ford said it wasn’t there.w

Fraudulent and criminal behavior at herb chambers of Braintree. my father and sister drove over an hour to look at a car which they confirmed with a sales associate before making the journey that the car was a certain price. After test driving and falling in love with it the car the sales guy says they tac on $5,000 to all sport models of this car because they’re low volume and desirable. You cannot advertise a car for a price and upon arrival decide to increase it. If a vehicle is selling above sticker (like the new Chevy Corvettes) the inflated price still needs to be made known to buyers. As a car enthusiast, it’s embarrassing to see practices like this taking place and robbing unsuspecting people of their hard earned time and money. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

I recently purchased a car in February. A week later I had to bring the car back to the dealership because the light were not working.I called last Saturday to book an appointment for Wednesday because my backup camera was not working .When I get to the dealership they couldn’t find my appointment the receptionist told me that I would have to pay $100 deductible because I have warranty on the car up to 30k mile which was fine.Later on she tell me that I don’t have any warranty And ask me to pay an additional $800 to replace my backup camera when I ask to speak to the person that sold me the car the sale manager completely disregard my requested and tell me that there is nothing they can do to help because the dealership is not responsible to fix the camera.This place is not really a friendly place at all they pressure me on buying the car make me sign stuff that no one took the time to explain to me.A month after buying the car I went over the dealership to talk to the person that sold me the car to go over the paper that I Signed but for some reason she did not wanted to talk to me. I’ll advise any woman of color not going to this place alone because they will take advantage of you and when you go to ask question they will deny you your right.

Buyer BEWARE!!!! This dealership uses false advertising to get you in the door and then prices gouges the MSRP sticker price. I was told by internet sales rep that a vehicle I was interested in was available at the website advertised/posted price of $35, 305, and that was before discounts/negotiations. After driving an hour to the dealership, and After test driving the vehicle and being prepared to pay sticker price, I was told by the Salesman and the GM, that i would have to pay an additional $5000 just for the privilege of purchasing the vehicle. Herb Chambers also removed the manufacturers window sticker from the vehicle in direct violation of mass laws. HERB CHAMBERS Ford in Braintree are scammers, using deceptive sales techniques. Patrick at Herb Chambers did a great job . I had a problem with one of my tires and that delayed my inspection sticker . He found out that I had tire insurance coverage and I got a new tire . Great job !! Thanks
