After seeing the beautiful job done by Creative Resurfacing at my neighbor’s home in Bradenton, we decided to have our cracked and deteriorating concrete pool deck resurfaced by the same company. We received a fair quote from James Garris and the work commenced within about 45 days. We chose to do a “Scoreline” resurface to hide existing cracks and get a flagstone look.We were very fortunate to have the very experienced and personable crew manager, Mike McIntire and his crew members Kelvin and Brendon. These guys worked diligently for 3 consecutive days and produced a beautiful pool deck for us. Mike is an artist with grinding a flagstone design into the surface and the final product is fantastic. There was a minor glitch at the end but Mike showed up the next morning to fix it. He personally worked several hours to completely rectify the problem. I am sure this company has many competent people but consider yourself very lucky if you get Mike McIntire. He is a gem of a person and a real asset to this excellent organization.

This company sent out friendly, efficient crews to remove my old pebble tech lanai surface and to put on a gorgeous new texture coat. They were on time and cleaned up after the work.

Chris and his crew at Creative Resurfacing did an excellent job refinishing our 44 year old pool deck. The deck had many layers, including river rock and cool deck. Dave and his team resurfaced our pool deck and did a fabulous job. They ground down the surface, scored structural cracks that previously existed, cut decorative scorelines, and applied a texture coat, color coat, and sealer coat. From beginning to end they were responsive, timely, meticulous, and cleaned up after themselves. Dave returned my call same day to set up a preview appointment. He showed up exactly on time. He explained the options, and then responded promptly via e-mail to a series of questions I sent him. He provided the quote same day. He followed up on the quote the next day. They started work very quickly, and finished exactly when estimated (good weather helped.) His team worked tirelessly and were very polite. When finished, it was not clear whether they were required to paint the vertical risers in the stairs. Dave erred on the side of making the customer happy, and even painted vertical areas that were not part of the stairs, even though I said they did not have to. The pool deck looks terrific. They went above and beyond and I highly recommend them. Their fee quote was significantly less than that from another company I contacted for the exact same work, by the way. Daves measurement of the pool deck and fee quotes were extremely precise, and the other company just rounded up.

The salesman that came out was very professional and was able to come up with a solution that complimented the design of our house beautifully. Why do you use cement for crack repairs? You must not warranty the cracks! The cracks will come back quicker using this method. 2 part epoxy works the best and slows the crack down from coming back faster

The sales rep was very professional and we contracted with this company to sand, pressure wash and paint our concrete pool deck. We were assured the paint would not chip. The job was done 6 months ago and there are chips, rust stains and even bubbles all over the deck. They sent someone out to paint over the chips (more are there now) but wouldn’t do anything about the bubbles. They said it’s because of the original concrete and had he known this he wouldn’t have recommended this type of resurfacing. I am not pleased at all and would not recommend this company.

I was very disappointed in the experience and end result of this companys work. I paid $4100.00 to have my 800 SF garage acid washed, stained and a faux paint top coat to give a natural, rustic look. What I got was a straight up flat paint finish that I could have done myself for $600. It took multiple appointments to complete the work as the sales rep and the workers repeatedly were a no show with multiple excuses for why they couldnt make the appointments. And they left multiple areas where the tape used to prevent overspray peeled the paint off the doors, drywall, and concrete block.. At the final inspection the sales rep told me that the floor was exactly how it should be and that I just didnt know it! I Would never be able to recommend this company.

My experience from start to finish was positive. from chris raymond in sales to dave on-site manager and the entire work team. plus, the communication between myself and chris and myself and dave was excellent and prompt. i would use creative resurfacing solutions again.
