I called to ask him is he had the address to deliver the machine and he just said that I was being difficult, that he was blind and that he was canceling my order and hung up. 😔 I took my lunch time to go pay for this machine and he was not willing to answer any of my question. It was my first time renting so I wanted to know how it worked. I wasn’t rude, I just wanted info like any new customer would. Anyway hope your eye sight gets better and you learn how to treat women sir.

On April 12 I took my chainsaw in for repair, was told itd take 7-10 days. Didnt hear anything during that time frame and called on April 24 - they couldnt give me an update. Called back on the 26th, hadnt started on in. Went there on April 30 said he know something on May 3rd. Finally on May 4 they called and said it needed a cylinder and piston kit - the price $400-$600. No thanks I said, Id pick it up. So on May 6 I went there, a $19.25 charge and my saw was taken apart with the parts in a box. Terrible customer service, dont take anything there for repair.

Just returned a hydraulic lift that I had used for tree trimming work. When checking out, I was instructed on the use of the unit which was spot on. The unit performed perfectly and the staff was professional and courteous at both the pickup and return of the unit. Truly an A+ transaction!

Spoke to Key over the phone with a customer, he was extremely rude and belligerent. Raised his voice and threatened to deny service based on asking a question about the tip size for a paint sprayer. We found Key to be very unprofessional and will not be patronizing this business based on our experience with him.

First time rental from this place and it was a perfect experience. Customer service was spot on. The knowledge of staff was over the top. I just read some of the reviews on here and it seems most of the bad ones are from years ago about a lady at the front desk. Not sure if shes even still there because I didnt see her both times I was in there.

I dont understand the reviews and want to defend the company. These guys are the real deal. Good equipment, helpful, patient and know what they sell, rent and know how to show to use it. I give a thumbs up from customer service to product availability. Give them a try!

Originally, this was a five star review because they offered me a 10% discount for good review, picked up my phone and wrote it. . . then, the next encounter with them, they rented me a tool that I took to the job site, I took it there, found out it was defective, brought it back with my contractor to show them and even then they did not refund my money. Again, they rented me a defective tool, and would not refund any of my money! And, then wanted to cuss me!

I wasnt sure how to approach a problem I had. I asked questions and was given solid advice. I saved money based on what I learned and the job I had to do was easier. Im giving five stars because I am happy with the advice given, the price I paid and the excellent attitude of staff. Would recommend.

Equipment worked well enough but the review is regarding the attitude of the staff. Too bad a flat -0- is not an option. First of all the verbal price quoted me was not what we were charged when we actually picked up the equipment. Customer service is definitely not their strong point! I am employed at a local church for which we rented a piece of grounds equipment. The attitude of the person claiming to be the manager was quite rude. It is entirely uncalled for to speak to customers in a condescending manner whether miserable in ones job or not! We have used another rental company in town for years but opted to use this one due to a more convenient location. Never again. Our maintenance staff will gladly tell our many parishioners and business owners with whom we do business to steer clear of A to Z rentals - regardless of verbally quoted prices! We will never rent from this company again -personally or professionally.

My husband over the years has been a loyal customer. He regularly rented equipment from this company without issue. He started a job and did not finish it last weekend. He rented the same piece of equipment to finish the job in the middle of the week and when he tried to start the machine at 6 pm the machine would not start. He took a picture of the unfinished job and brought the machine back in the morning and showed them the picture of the unfinished work. He was treated very unprofessionally. This company refused correct the situation. They told him he should have called them on the phone. They billed him $49 for the use of the machine that would not start up. I see all the negative reviews. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!! My husband thought he had a good working relationship with these folks. They just lost another customer. NO RESPECT for the customer at this place. Go down the road to rent your equipment.

Since the woman that used to work behind the front counter has left, customer service has improved greatly. Their staff is incredibly knowledgeable and will take the time to help you decide which equipment best suits your needs. I will continue to support a family owned, solid business.

This is one of the few places in town that had the part that we required for a small motor that we were working on. Once we had ordered the part and were waiting on them to process payment they asked for my ID and I provided it alone with my debit card they then proceeded to ask for my phone number when I asked the man why he talked to me like I was dumb and described to me that he needed to make an invoice but I do not provide my phone number and mine you he already had my drivers license in hand he then refused to process the sale and made us come back with cash only. He was extremely rude and I will never be returning.

The most hateful people Ive ever spoken to.Here we go again...I tried today to rent a piece of equipment and got the most hateful people I have ever heard on a telephone in my life. You call the other people in the community who lease equipment and they are for the most part helpful to some degree. This was an emergency its the only reason I called.if you have questions about this drive by their location and all you see is junk parked outside. Like I said if it wasnt an emergency I would never have thought to call. them.

I called them and asked for their input on the type of lift I needed to complete a job. When they dropped it off, I asked them are you sure this will work (reach the work that needed to be done). They guy (Keit) said yeah it should work. He set it up in a good spot for us to get started. When the guy I had hired to do the job (operate the lift) came, he cut all his boards and they tried to reach the house. It did not reach, it was about 6 ft short and we only had a bout 3 ft to move it closer. I called the office and, after much discussion, there was a lift they had they were sure would work, but it was not available for 2 weeks, they asked that I call Monday to arrange it and they came and picked up the lift.On Monday, they said it was my fault and they took no responsibility. Keit said they were old school and because I made a bad decision they were not responsible. I explained I consulted with them on the machine I needed and he said they dont operate that way. They are old school they just drop off equipment and pick it up. He would not let me talk to his boss to try and talk some sense that all I was looking for was a credit toward the machine I really need. He finished by saying the problem with society is that people dont take responsibility for their actions. I agree, they need to take some responsibility in providing customer service and some pride in consulting with their customers (not just telling them it will work when it wont) to ensure their needs are met. Call Bradenton Rentals and save yourself the hassle.

Could not agree more with the rest of the comments! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!! They have the worse customer service (I dont think words can explain how rude they are, you have to experience it to know it), and their equipment is in really bad shape. If by any chance it brakes, they will blame you for it. My husband rented some equipment from them and it broke, on his way back to get another one a tire of the trailer blew. They told him it was his fault that the tire blew because the tires were new and that he obviously ran over something,,, the tires were not new and my husband has been a commercial driver of trucks for over 18 years. They were rude, rude, rude, rude he ended up renting from somewhere else to complete the job. They also threatened him to charge him for the repair cost of the equipment. Who owns this place??

Rented a chipping hammer and a generator every thing worked great, while i was in the store a woman was in there trying to rent a tool ahead of me and when she was asked for her drivers license and did not have one, she was told she could not rent, then she proceeded to curse and cary on when she was asked to leave she went crazy, manager had to throw her out, i was treated very well by the young lady behind the counter and told her i was sorry she had to put up with that kind of abuse she smiled and said i get that 2 or 3 times a day
