Rick is not only a very experienced Yanmar mechanic, more importantly he is a very understanding and accommodating person. I just took delivery of a new to me used boat. I had a very short window to start the boat on a 1500 NM voyage. The motor needed a couple of parts replaced. Rick understood our situation and worked late to make sure the engine was ready to go. He did this on very short notice and put aside a personal event which was important to him. Im very grateful, you dont normally find someone that caring. Based on my experience I know you can trust Rick with any work he does for you.

Rick is by far the most knowledgeable and honest mechanic I have ever met.I had one guy tell me after examining my engine physically, that engine will need to be replaced.. Rich called me the the next day said, he sorry was very busy. then said he doubted that I need to replace motor and in just listing to me sounds like a oil line under motor was rusted and had a hole in it. Sure enough he showed up next day verifying his suspension and ordered a New one $150 part installed next day ( instead of a new engine) I can’t tell you how nice it is to have someone so honest and knowledgeable looking and my motors. This guy shows up knowing exactly what tools he needs for the job and does things right the FIRST time . I hope I haven’t ruined it for his customers letting everybody else know that this is the guy to trust. I was reminded that you are not just paying these guys for there time, but their knowledge. Rick is worth every penny and if you have to wait for a few days because he is busy ....WAIT

To make this short and sweet. They never replied to numerous emails and a voicemail leaving my number on a part they shipped that was the wrong part. Nice bow cover but it didnt fit. Do i have your attention now ?

Rick has been taking care of my boats since my acquisition in 2009. Hes honest, hes reasonable and I have been completely satisfied. Ive referred many people to him and theyve all thanked me for such a wonderful referral. At one point, he was maintaining 2 boats for me and called me randomly one day to say, I havent heard from you in a while, I hope everything is okay with your boats & thats why I havent heard from you. LOL - that WAS the case. He had everything in tip-top shape! Great guy and I highly recommend him to everyone!

RNR Marine recently performed a pre-purchase inspection and an annual service and other mechanical work on a 240 hp Yanmar marine diesel in a used boat that I purchased. To put it succinctly, this small company is a class above: hard working, no-nonsense,completely professional and as knowledgeable and experienced as anyone in the business. On top of this, their attention to detail and determination to ensure that the engine was in perfect working order when they finished was clear throughout the process. Add to this a very reasonable bill and one could not ask for more --especially here in the Florida market. I highly recommend them.
