Glass Doctor’s unique first-come, first-served appointments made it easy to get same day windshield chip repair. They were super kind and friendly throughout the whole process - though it only took half an hour to do the repair! Called around multiple places, and the out of pocket price for a chip repair was easily the least expensive in Bozeman. Even though my insurance (SF) doesn’t cover chip repairs, they gave a discount to help lower the price even more. Spending $35 on a chip repair is unheard of when your insurance doesn’t cover them!!

I had a windsheild replacement on my vintage 1992 Mazda Miata. The staff and install techs were very freindly, professional and did a great job. The team was proud of their work and I was very satisfied with end result. I would highly recommend them for windshield repair or replacement.

This is updated from a 2 star review. I previously had a poor experience with them because my replacement glass was broken in transit and they offered little contingency. This time, however, they delivered (except I never got my glass replaced by them this time either). My back window completely shattered and I took it in to them for a free quote. Service was timely, and they crash wrapped my window free of charge! My frame was too bent to do an actual replacement so I had to go to a body shop... But Im glad they were honest about what was happening. I was in constant, personal contact with the person coordinating my appointment which made the whole process much easier and transparent.I cant give five stars because I still have yet to actually see their work on glass and the timing was a bit slow (2 weeks to deliver the part... What??) but everything else is great! They know what theyre doing. Would recommend. Ally is awesome!

I was heading to WSS when a rock practically shattered my windshield. I was on the outskirts of Bozeman and went directly to the Glass Doctor. They didnt have a new windshield for my specific vehicle in stock, so they called all around Bozeman to see if anyone else had one. Unfortunately no one did, so they had to order it. It was there by the next morning and I was there at 8:00am when they opened...and I was out by 9:00am and once again on my way out of town. They were so friendly and eager to solve my dilemma. Thumbs up to all who work there! I recommend Glass Doctor for any glass needs!!!

I usually fix car stuff on my own, but was having difficulty getting a car door window installed. These guys took a look at my car door, for free, and told me a few options I could do to fix the issue. They realized that I do work on my car myself, so they showed me what was wrong, so I could make an informed decision to fix it. Ive had 3 windshields replaced by these guys. Everyone is nice and I havent had an issue getting in. The only issue Ive had is 2 of times Ive gotten replacement windshields put in, finger prints and adhesive are left on the windshield. Not a super huge deal, I just have to really scrub it in a few spots. Just a minor detail that isnt being paid close attention to by the install crew.

Super easy process . Dropped my car off and get a call couple hours later its done. Everyone was friendly and super helpful. Will be going back in the future

The actual installation of my new windshield was incredibly timely (considerably less time than I had budgeted, which is always a nice surprise) and precise. Jay did a wonderful job replacing my windshield. Ally also helped me navigate the insurance process, actually initiating the phone call with them, so that the entire experience was absolutely fluid. Called yesterday with a busted windshield and Joseph got me in there the next day! Once I got to the shop, Ally (incredibly sweet) was super helpful in making sure I had all the details on what was going on with warranties and all that jazz. However, I definitely want to say that Tyler did an absolutely incredible job on putting a new windshield in in a very quick, efficient manner, even with my lightbar having to be dealt with in the process. He also went above and beyond for me by fixing up a couple small things while he had the hood up! Last week, I had an appointment scheduled to have a window in my house replaced. The technician had some kind of emergency that morning that delayed my appointment by 4 hours. This itself is not a problem--these things happen. However, I got a call (after waiting around for 4 hours) saying that the replacement window pane did not have the grid that my window needed, so he would not be coming. Fine, I rescheduled for the next week.The morning of the appointment comes around, and nobody shows up or calls. I call their office to see what is going on and am told that somebody left me a voicemail (they didnt) saying that the technician decided to go on vacation and I had been rescheduled for the next day. I was given no notice. Communication is seriously lacking. The one thing this office has going for them is that their staff is friendly. They are not great at communication nor checking their received shipments for accuracy. My appointment is now set for 2 weeks away, almost a month after it should have been completed.Edited for response to the owner: It is not a matter of how I feel. This is what happened. I cannot believe the company chooses to operate this way. The owner cannot even give a sincere apology after such a disappointing experience. Highly recommend potential clients take their business elsewhere.

Exceptional customer service. Came to town for the weekend and ordered a custom made glass palette for painting (am an artist). There was a miscommunication on pickup time and, long story short, the owner himself came out to the store on a weekend while they were closed just to make sure I got my order before heading back home. I promptly reached out to Glass Doctor and they had me come back and they smoothed them out. They are still visible. 5 of them. Was told they are now hardly noticeable and wouldnt affect trade in. I disagree. This is the 5th windshield that this particular location has done for us and we have never seen anything like this. For this reason I am giving a 2 star. Would be willing to work with Glass Doctor to make it right.

I am very pleased with my experience with Glass Doctor.

Ride service to and from the store is great. The quality of work for the install was absolutely terrible. They left greasy finger prints all over my A-Pillar, dash and the glass itself. In spite of efforts by myself and a detail shop, my A-Pillars will never again be clean as they were. It took a solid 20 minutes of cleaning with glass cleaner just to get all the finger prints, grease and smudges off the inside and outside of the new windshield. My spouses car is in need of a new windshield as well. Will not be going back to Glass Doctor.

Amazing team here at Glass Doctor in Bozeman, MT. Tyler not only went the extra mile, but came over and sat down with me for a minute to discuss processes. Very helpful! The Glass Doctor himself was very courteous and awesome. Most of all, I felt like I was welcome as a person, not just as a customer. There was no phoniness, all real. The wait room had coffee, etc., and I managed to get a bit of work done before Tyler had my car ready to go. Reason I say “ bit of work” is because it did not take no time at all. No run arounds, no delays, professionals throughout whole process.

The Glass Doctor team, specifically Ross & Austin were great to work with and very professional when replacing a couple of windows in my home. They did a great job and finished the somewhat difficult installation in good time. The overall cost of the project was very good and I will definitely use them again should the need arise. In the time that I have been dealing with them they have been extremely unreliable. For my initial appointment to examine my broken window no one showed up. After getting the appointment rescheduled, they were able to get the window ordered and an appointment scheduled. However, on the day of the appointment again no one showed up during the timeframe they gave us. I called to ask what was going on and was sent to voicemail. No one responded. An hour and a half later they called to say they would be unable to make it. I called again but was told that the person who could assist me was not in the office but they would return my call by the end of the day. But I never received a call back. Overall, it has been a frustrating process.

Really great experience. Had bad service from a local dealership’s body shop and the difference between how I was treated by Glass Doctor and by them was drastic. I paid roughly half as much at Glass Doctor and received twice the value. Well more than twice as the ‘repair’ done by the dealership failed within a week. I have had many other similar good experiences with Glass Doctor and I’ll definitely continue to give them my business.

The staff here has our highest recommendation. We were in Yellowstone and got sideswiped by an RV which took out our mirror and drivers side window. We called multiple facilities but only Glass Doctor answered the phone on the first call and went out of their way to help. They ordered our window and made an appointment for us the next day. They told us to budget 2 hours for the repair. We arrived, went for a walk, and right on time the technician came out and told us our car was ready. They also updated us as the repair progressed. The price was more than competitive, the service was outstanding, and the technician even cleaned our front window for us that was filled with bugs from the trip from Yellowstone. We live in CA but I would sure use them again if they were in our area. We need to keep places like this in business, please use them!!!

We originally came here to have a chip in my windshield repaired. It turned out to be something that didnt need to be repaired, so they let me know the situation, washed my windshield, and didnt charge me a cent. They were so friendly and professional, we decided to make an appointment to have my partners windshield replaced. They called a few days ahead of our appointment to let us know they had an opening the next day if we wanted it. We said, Sure thing! They got it done in less time than they said it would take, charged less than their competitors, and gave us a discount for bringing in canned food for a drive they are supporting. Great people! The coffee in their waiting room is good, too, and they have a wonderful black lab to greet you and sit on your feet while you wait. Fantastic service all around!

They covered all the aspects of getting my Ram 3500 windshield replaced in a timely fashion. I live 120 miles from Bozeman and still would use Glass Works of Boseman any time I had a glass issue, Great service from check in to after the fact follow up. handled all of the insurance issues which was no small task. I called for a quote this last month and left a message and got a call back saying theyd look for the quote and call back but unfortunately they did not. I called back and left another vm and still havent heard back. I assume they are busy and I know they do great work so I hope I can connect with them again.

Glass Doctor of Bozeman to the rescue! We got a crack in our windshield on the Rock Chip highway aka I-90 near Bozeman on our 6 day old car while on vacation. We made an emergency stop and Glass Doctors Ross & Jeff got the crack fixed and looking great and we were back on the road in a very short amount of time. Great overall experience.

I had a new windshield put in in August. Much to my surprise come winter, my remote start didnt work. After a visit with Sound Pro, I was informed my cable for my remote start had been cut at the time of my windshield exchange. I received a work order from Sound Pro. I took that to Glass Dr, they now have a sign posted and told me they are not liable for any damages to remote start cables and a list of other things they are not liable for.Glass Doctors has since contacted me and reimbursed me for the cost of repairing my remote start.Thank you Glass Doctors for righting this mistake!
