This was nothing less than amazing!! My husband and I were able to book a last minute half day ride and Becky was the best teacher. I had no experience and my husband has only rode a few times. She was patient, answered all my questions and helped us throughout our adventure. So much fun, great laughs and an even better ride. Thank you Sunrise Pack Station - this was one of the best things we’ve done together as a couple and it will be one of our best memories! When we come back, we know who we will use! Thank you!

My husband and I were in Montana for our honeymoon and really wanted to ride horses while we were there. We lucked out finding Sunrise Pack Station!!! The owner, Shane, was so friendly and helpful over the phone while we were making our reservation for a half day ride. He asked us how much riding experience we had and our comfort level. He sent us a detailed email with instructions on our where to meet our guide in Yellowstone National Park and everything else we needed to know. Our guide, Becky, was so awesome. She was extremely personable and knowledgeable about horses and the park itself. She told us a lot of interesting things about the park and answered any questions that we had. We accidentally forgot our camera in a saddle bag and they were so helpful in getting it back to us. We cant wait to come back to Montana just to go on another trail ride with Sunrise Pack Station!!

I wanted to learn how to ride as an adult and had tried a few other stables, but they were more expensive and taught me nothing. It is clear that Cami of Yes U Can REALLY knows horses! I feel like in 30 minutes i learned so much! The teacher is fun and patient, which is great because Im very much a novice. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed, and taught me the WHYs as well as the WHATs with horses. The facility is beautiful and to say the horses are well trained and well taken care of is an understatement.

Weve been enjoying the Christmas-time sleigh rides for years. It has become one of our enduring family traditions because its such a special, unique experience that puts us together in a fun environment to enjoy being with each other.

Thank you for our 5th annual year with you! Would not be the Christmas season without a special trip!

It’s a really cute and fun experience for the whole family. It’s definitely geared towards younger children but that doesn’t make it any less lovely for adults.

I would highly recommend Sunrise Pack Station. I signed on for riding lessons this fall and Shanes knowledge of horses, patience and ability to relate to riders from novice to experienced alike not only met, but exceeded my expectations. The horses are well cared for and matched appropriately to rider abilities. I feel lucky to have found such a fun, safe and knowledgeable environment to enhance my riding and overall equine understanding. Thank you!!

We had an amazing, fun, beautiful, lovely sleigh ride on December 22, 2014 with Shane at Sunrise Pack Station. We were in the evening under the stars and the sleigh had little lights that lit up the snow like a postcard. We chose the one hour option and stopped by the stream with a Campfire and hot chocolate. We had a wonderful experience with Sunrise Pack Station. Shane was very accommodating. The scenery during the hayride was beautiful and when we arrived at the picnic area there was a campfire and hot chocolate & hot apple cider waiting for us. We plan to go back for a sleigh ride this winter.

Very fun for the family and a great experience! I would certainly recommend it to everyone who loves Christmas, Montana and the great outdoors. The guide was very kind and engaged us all during the trip and the wildlife during dusk was pretty memorable.

We had a great time on a pack/fishing trip to the upper valley of Slough Creek fishing for cutthroat trout. The staff were all super friendly, the food was great, the horses were amazing, the setting phenomenal, fishing was excellent... what more can I say than I want to go back?

My daughter and I had the best experience riding. Our guides were professional, kind, caring and well prepared. The scenery was beautiful! Thank you. We will be back to ride with you again in the future.

My family and I took the 1hr sleigh ride on Christmas Eve. What a great way to set the mood and put you in the Christmas spirit. The stop by the river with hot chocolate, campfire and Christmas story told by Shane was perfect. We have decided to make this a tradition and take the sleigh ride each Christmas Eve in the future.

I took my entire family (wife, kids, parents, brothers and spouses) on the hour long sleigh ride with Sunrise Pack Station just outside Bozeman. It couldnt have been more fun! The driver was very informative, and was truly a great host! Well definitely do it again! For all of you considering doing this, you wont be disappointed with their hospitality and the beautiful tour they take you on. Have fun!

My daughter is in her second season of horsemanship classes with Sunrise Pack Station and she absolutely loves it! Shane McClaflin is a safe and knowledgable instructor with a calm demeanor and great rapport with the kids in his classes. His horses are quiet and well cared for. I would recommend classes with Sunrise Pack Station to any young equine enthusiast!

We loved it....Shane was a wonderful host and our family of seven thoroughly enjoyed the ride, the sleigh, the horses, the fire, the hot cocoa, the Christmas story and the views. Highly recommend this experience.
