Ill be honest. I was quite nervous about how my first plush would go, especially with the design I had, but I am so glad I took the risk. This was a specialty commission, so there was a lot of leeway in communication, but its so helpful when talking specifics in your plush, which is what happened here. And the end result is incredible! The look is just like how Blitzy is, the details are well done for something as simple as a plushy, and the materials are just impressive. Highly recommend if youre interested in bringing your original characters to life. Cant wait to go to Budsies again for more of my original characters!

The Budsies were incredible and worth it just to see the look on the students faces when they saw their mascots come to life. An absolutely incredible service. Not only did they do a wonderful job with my order, but the service was amazing. They emailed me with every step in my orders creation, and it continues to be a wonderful toy. The material is delightfully soft, excellent quality, and the toy is the perfect hugging size.The only potential downside would be the long waiting time, but considering the whole custom order thing, the wait wasnt all too bad!I would 100% recommend them and hope to order again in the future.

My 35 year old Adult son has Autism and loves Budsies. He found the Website on his own and for him to be able to draw a picture of his Friend and for Budsies to bring his friend to life is awesome. This is our second Budsies and while some may think the price is high keep in mind that to buy a small plush at a theme park or store csots at least $20-$30. I was looking for the perfect birthday surprise for my daughter and came across budsies and I am so happy I did! My daughter is 8 years old and absolutely loves to draw do I tricked her into drawing a picture and then submitted it to Budsies to have a stuffed animal made. It was quickly accepted and I was updated throughout the process. The wait was so worth it and my daughter was so surprised. I have shown it to pretty much everyone and everyone is impressed with how much it looks like the picture and how well the quality is. Its kinda expensive so its not something I could do every year but I will probably do it again in the future and it is an amazing keepsake for when my child grows up.

I had all the characters made from the books my mom wrote. She passed away three years ago and seeing all her characters come to life and in my home with my kids, is the best gift ever and it feels like the characters have come to life. I couldnt have imagined these being created more perfectly. The details are to the tee. The people at Budsies were good to work with during the rounds of revision and the final result came out amazing! As a tip have a good clean reference without a lot of shading and stylization that you dont want on your plush directly so its clear how you want your plushies to look and highlight all the details you want in the written description section. Given that and some iteration in the two feedback rounds I got a result that was truly special!!

At first when I saw some custom Sonic plushies they made, I’ve had doubts but when I’ve made a reference sheet for Grounder, he came out exactly the way I drew him! I couldn’t have been happier in that moment. The only downside is that the quality can be mixed up. Results may vary and may not always come out the way you wanted.

I would choose 0 stars if I could. I ordered what I thought was a simple design - a unicorn with wings - and I stressed that the most important thing was the specific colors of the body, wings, tail, mane, and horn. Like literally the only reason I was getting a custom item was for the colors. They got the body color right... thats it. Let me be clear that, for example, in the text I specified the tail be in rainbow order with the rainbow colors, and in the picture there are clearly 6 rainbow colors in order (sorry indigo) but in the toy, I got red orange yellow green brown pink blue. Who puts brown in a rainbow? My child had so lovingly drawn her dream unicorn friend and I had secretly taken it to get her a surprise for the holidays. Its 3 days before Christmas and I cannot give this to my child because it is completely wrong and if she was questioning the existence of Santa before, this will destroy that belief. So now Im out a ton of money and frantically scrambling.

I sent in a design for a character for a video game I want to create and it has been one of my prized possessions since. I got two of my characters (Skylar and Caliope). The Skylar one turned out perfectly, but the Caliope one had so much delays... up to two months... and how she turned out was not close to the original, its still good but due to the delays. I wouldnt buy from them for Christmas again, I wish they limit on orders during that time of year. Ill get another one in the coming years or so but due to my recent experience with them, I am not happy with Budsies.
