I put in an application with my son. We accidentally put my SS# on both applications. I’ve tried calling left over 20 messages and no one returned my called. I ask my son to go cancel the application and now they saying we can not get our application fee back $200 gone and they nvr even ran the application. I put application in on 9/5 and still til this day not one person called me back. They sent me an email to tell me they can not give money back but will not return my calls. Thai place has rob meAnd my some out of our $100 each we had to pay
STAY AWAY. Ex resident. I moved into this apartment last year. My upstairs neighbor made my life a living hell in that apartment every time I complain to the apartment they did nothing. I was told by the apartment not to call the police on my upstairs as while was throwing trash and water on me on the apartment below as I am seating on the patio telling him to stop. They are quick with the money nothing else. There is a bunch of hidden fees with this apartment you dont know until after you moved in. They added fees from wear and tear, I was trying to talk to them about those claims on my deposit after moving out; I was told to deal with the collection agency. I was told by their maintenance guy not to worry about about the wear and tear; after I moved out they added a fee for the item I was told not to worry about; and even charged me for the day I wasnt living there saying I didnt fulfill my 60 notices even though my notice was more than 60 days earlier.If you want to leave it in a landfill you can move there as the garbage is outside of the dumpster not being pickup mind you that there is a fee for trash pickup. Also when it comes to water, storm water, trash, and sewer get ready for the bill. oh yeah, there are also admin fees for doing what. They dont really tell you in-depth about the fees until you get the first bill and they told you its a shared bill. I went away for a month I still had to pay for those bills. STAY AWAY. They are slump lord. There are places that are cheaper and well managed in the area. You pay a pest control fee monthly, but they never show up. I wish there was a 0 star or -5 star.
I really have bad experience with the people who are running the leasing office. I moved recently and did not get my deposit back. I called the office 12 times and every time I was told that they do not know anything and need to check with the supervisor or the manager!!! I request to talk to the supervisor and every time I was told she is in the meeting and will call me..but she did not!!! Then I was given her work email info and she did not answer my email yet.I do not recommend this place to anyone. They do not deserve any star!!!
Niesha helped me get my apartment at Advenir she was absolutely great ! Tracy and Maria were always genuine in ensuring that all my questions and concerns as a resident were clarified. I enjoyed being a resident of Advenir by far my best experience yet with leasing professionals. All of my maintenance requests were taken care of in a timely manner. Very good service and experience ! I have since moved on but I would certainly recommend Advenir to friends, families, and strangers alike. I enjoyed the grill, the gym and affordable on site laundry.
Im only a month into my new lease with Advenir at La Costa, but so far, I couldnt be happier. The leasing office staff was very accommodating in getting me ready to move in. They took time to listen to my concerns and got back to me on all of my questions.Additionally, I had one light go out in the first week after move in, I notified the leasing office, they had maintenance out there within the week to fix it, very happy with the service and level of care that Advenir at La Costa has for their tenants.
Are residents not valued guest? Why is there a break in communication regarding work orders? Why is a work order for a/c not considered an emergency? Why does maintenance only work on one work order and not the others that are placed in the same unit?Past review: Kirsten is amazing. On move in day I was running behind and she stayed 15 mins after her time to leave to hand me the keys. She is much appreciated!
When I moved out of this apartment in March 2020, I thought I would be done with the unprofessional nonsense that I had put up with for the past two years. I was mistaken. From the time I notified the office staff that I was leaving, until the day I moved out, I repeatedly asked if there were any other fees that I would be responsible for. I had already paid two months rent to break the lease and rent for the entire month of March since I moved out on the 7th. The woman from the front office said there was absolutely nothing else I would be responsible for, and that I would receive my security deposit back within the next few weeks.Last week I received a letter in the mail from a seedy collections agency that stated I owed money to Advenir. I called the front office and spoke with Kirsten who explained that the balance is coming from unpaid utilities, rent, cleaning services, etc. She said they used my deposit to cover some of these things (which explains why I never got that back) and that the balance is all that is left. I disputed all this as I was assured by their own staff that everything was taken care of. I also asked why I am just being notified of this now. She stated a letter was sent out, but I never received that. They have my phone number, my email, and my fiance’s phone number and email, but they neglected to contact us appropriately. She stated the manager, Tracy, would call me back to discuss this matter.It has been five days and I still have not received a call, email or any other form of contact. I have called every day for the past five days to get a hold of Tracy, and each time I get the answering service. I have explained the situation to Charlie, Clara, Dotty, Keith, and Michelle who have all sent messages to Tracy to get her to do her job. Until I receive any contact from Advenir, I will consider these charges to be voided.I truly hope that if you are looking for an apartment in the area, look anywhere else.*UPDATE*My situation with Advenir has finally been rectified thanks to the Assistant Manager Kelly. She was able to clear up an issue that has been ongoing for weeks, in one afternoon. She was very prompt and professional.
I have lived at Advenir at La costa for over 2.5 years. Over this period, I have looked at the reviews in which some are not favorable. I am fortunate to have the financial means to live most anywhere but I have chosen to live at Advenir at La Costa. The location, management, response to maintenance requests, among other things has been unquestionably superior in all aspects. Current management has been both supportive and helpful in ensuring all my needs are met. For those new to the area or people looking for a place to live, Advenir at La Costa should be highly considered. In addition, I have experienced a quite environment and enjoyed the fellowship of great people. I believe the management team is trying to provide good customer relationships. If you decide to consider Advenir at La Costa and want to see if my review is accurate, make an appointment with Jessica. She has been my conduit when I have needed support and she has displayed a professional attitude.
I checked out Advenir a short time ago while I was searching for a new apartment. My complex was looking to charge too much for a renewal. Advenir had everything I was looking for. Their location is right in the heart of Boynton, their staff was very friendly and easy to work with, and had the ammenities I needed. They were also the most affordable option in the area.I was forced to move elsewhere because of the distance to my job, but I would highly recommend checking out Advenir!
I rented from this complex for 15 months in the Magnolia apartment back in 2016. I had no complaints honestly. Great area. Tons to do. We were on the top floor, so the vaulted ceilings made the apartment feel huge.
I moved in last year in 2018. Sadly in 2020 of January I’m moving back out only to save money but this was honestly a great apartment to live in for my first time. The office was always kind and helpful and understanding, the staff was wonderful and amazing. My only real issue was just maintenance taking to long to fix something in the apartment. But other than that, I loved the area everything was so close you could save gas and just walk there! I would move back if I could! Thank you for all your help!!
I wanted to share a recent customer service experience i had with Travis and Jessica. What had happened was i bought a new car, and traded my old car but I was half way home from Miami before i realized i had mistakenly left my door and mailbox keys on my old keychain with my trade in. Instead of charging me for new keys Travis put in a work order and had my door lock changed immediately. ..and when i realized my mailbox key was missing my mother had sent a package for Christmas. I came in immediately after work to see if it was in the leasing office, but they were closing for the day. Still Travis & Jessica both dutifully searched through dozens of packages for me.. Nothing. So i explained about my mailbox key, Travis found a spare for me, and instead of just sending me on my way, they BOTH came WITH ME, to make sure it worked, and to see if i could find my package. It did worked, they gave me the replacement key, and my package was also there and we all cheered together. ❤ Thank you Travis and Jessica for going above and beyond and for amazing customer service with a smile. 😃 👍👍👍👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This apartment has been the worst, I moved here ending of 2018, I moved in with out my bathtub being redone properly. The paint is chipping off the tub. My ac has not been running cold in my room since I moved here last November. The toilet barely flush right. I always go to the office and make a complaint. All they do is come check the problem and never come back. I HATE IT HERE! I can’t wait till my lease is over this is some BS! Never experienced this before till I moved here.

I have lived here for 2 years and am very, very happy. The apartments are beautiful and roomy. The grounds are also beautiful with the pools and the walking trail and the lakes. I totally enjoy living here and going to the fitness center and everything they have to offer! I feel very safe and comfortable here and that is due to the office staff and the maintenance staff being on top of it! Anytime I have a question or an issue they are right there to resolve right away to make my stay here enjoyable. Thank you Lisa and all your staff. Youre the best!!
Great place to live quiet and very nice neighbors, front desk staff is great, unfortunately like Ive seen on a few reviews here. Maintenance is extremely slow. Ive been without a washer going on two weeks now still waiting for maintenance to come by and even look at it.
Awesome place ! Very clean and the apartments are updated and very spacious. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and dog friendly neighborhood . Went in on a Saturday, Sunday and Monday let’s just say I loved it there . It was quiet and relaxing each time I visited. The office staff are very professional and care about their tenants. My Girl Mary is super amazing she makes me want to come sit and visit with her everyday. If your looking for a clean,quiet and beautiful neighborhood this is the place for you.

Have had issue with many things since I moved in the apartment. Unsafe environment, filled with bugs and every time I call for an issue its a nightmare. Takes forever for them to show up and when they do, almost nothing is done. Not to mention the maintenance guy Louis was incredibly disrespectful and was the opposite of helpful, basically blaming me for all of the antiquated falling apart amenities. Highly recommend you avoid at all costs!

Good neighborhood. Quiet neighbors. Nice walking trail. Courteous staff. I am absolutely in love with my apartment. The maintenance guys are all very kind and every request my roommate and I have put in has been taken care of with 1-2 days. Gateway and Congress are a bit noisey but Ive personally gotten used to it. No complaints about the complex itself!
I live have lived in APT 12106 for almost a year now. This community is great, its clean, kid friendly, and pet friendly. Anything that goes wrong in the apartments the crew is right on it to take good care and fix whatever needs to be done no questions asked. The leasing and management office are filled with amazing people who are so kind and helpful Melissa Frodo and Lisa just to name a few but the entire staff is amazing. If you need a spot to live this is where you want to be in the center of everything from food to shopping. Thank you for the wonderful year and many more to come.
Ive lived here for over a year and am on my second lease. Since signing my second lease my car has been keyed multiple times in their parking lot. There are no security cameras in the lots so the front desk cant really help you aside from say call the police. Security doesnt seem to be a big deal here.Additionally after signing my second lease maintenance has fallen off considerably. Work requests will go unnoticed for weeks or unfinished. Ive had what amounts to a hole above my shower for 5 weeks because a specialist was supposed to repaint it. This is getting out of hand.There are other complexes in the area. I feel unsafe living here and might as well pay what I need to to get out before something really bad happens.UPDATE: While nothing has been done about the key marks in my car. Advenir did *FINALLY* send someone over to my apartment. They painted over the hole in my shower which is good. This happened about a week after this review went up.Regarding the security, Ive taken it into my own hands and called the police and filed a report. Ive also installed a security camera on my porch that overlooks the lot. If you live here and want to at the very least feel secure, thats a good way to do it.
I have been living at Advenir @ LaCosta for 5 years now and I love living here. The new management is amazing. Lisa, the manager, is so nice and very understanding, she works hard to make sure I am comfortable in my apartment. The staff is very friendly and professional. In the past, if I had any maintenance issues, Lisa has made sure all issues are resolved to my satisfaction. Thank you for making my living environment so pleasant and welcoming.
So Ive been renting here for almost 15 months. The apartments are fair if you are in an updated unit. Ive had multiple maintenance calls for my leaking/ broken/ moldy AC unit which they seem to fix using duct tape. Leaks from who knows where were common which cause bathroom cabinets and floor to warp. Plus the updated bathroom is just a coat of paint on the tiles in the bath/shower. Ive personally had things stolen from my vehicle and a lot of shady people have been moving in recently. I personally do not feel very safe living here for much longer. On a positive note the rent is not too expensive and the units look okay.. I will be moving out soon due to the amount of suspicious/ shady people who have moved in lately. The police presence is overwhelming in a bad way. If you are moving in here, ALWAYS lock your doors for your unit and you vehicles. Would recommend adding a few cameras.
My apartment is nice,but had to call multiple times about no cold water in my sink and to fix other stuff, they said there down to one maintenance person, its just an excuse! Also on my unit there Is a hole on the side of the building! Also there is an odor from the air conditioning, it always smells funny! When I called t, it seems like it always goes to a voicemail! I also have white ants/ silver fish on my stove! Management doesnt seem to care! Apartments in boynton beach are pathetic no matter where you go!
I am now a current resident at that place. it is a nightmare for me at the very beginning of the process to rent my apartment. i paid everything but the apartment they show was not the one i received. Due to the fact i already paid i had no choice to enter to a dirty apartment bathroom dirty, broken refrigerator. I Saw lot of dirty belonging left by the last tenant on top every balcony from the ceiling of every room in the apartment. Now im facing bugs issues which i addressed to the former manager after 4-5 months i entered the apartment which never taken care of. this is the worst situation i am facing in that community.
I have lived here since Mahogany Bay days, & worked on the original designer models, exterior colors & landscape work!! So Im really attached to the community & garden-park grounds! With the new resort - feeling La Costa @ Advenir, the vibrant Florida lifestyle continues! Couldnt be more pleased with the competent, caring management & staff- especially Lisa & Fredo! And the professional maintenance team is always there to help with a smile! Community living just doesnt get better-anywhere!!

Im currently finishing up the last month of my 3rd year here at La Costa. I am moving out once my lease is up, but its only because Im getting a house. I have nothing but great things to say about this place, from the maintenance to the front office, its been a wonderful experience. Ever since Advenir has taken over for grey star theyve been renovating non-stop and doing everything within their power to improve the overall quality of the complex. I would like to Thank you all for an enjoyable 3 years and I will definitely be recommending you to anyone looking for an apartment, take care.
I am not changing this rating until you get rid of the $40 “convenience” fee when paying via the app. This is price gauging and completely unacceptable as a renter.-EDIT: Management just called me up and explained the situation. It has to do with their new app but the fee was from my credit card company. If you set up your account with a debit card you wont see this charge anymore. Also my rent didnt go up so Im going to renew.
This place is a joke, I rented an apartment from them, doors in the apartment had signs of forced entry and cupboards broke the same day I moved in. The apartment was very dated, especially when paying $1,300 for a 1 bedroom. The balcony was a joke, pieces of marijuana and backwoods wrappers fell down from the upper apartment and every time I walked out there, I felt as if I’d fall through the floor. The stairways are very old and I prayed I wouldn’t fall through when walking on them. I’ve had problems walking to and from the dumpster, random people shouting nonsense at me as well as suspicious people walking around. I was told to move out the next day when I broke my leave and was charged $3000. I received an email on June 1st, stating that I would be refunded a considerable amount in 15-30 days. I have not received any word about the refund and I’ve tried countless times to reach out to the leasing office. Before you lease here, please consider other options. You can get an apartment for way less in a way nicer community.
We lived here about 7 years ago and the apartments were very out dated, also there were major drug problems and roaches. Don’t recommend. For 1700 a month you can move in to a brand new community with better amenities and friendlier office staff
HORRIBLE! I haven’t even moved in yet and I’m so UNSATISFIED with this place! I’ve been approved since almost 2 weeks ago, I’ve been calling and showing up to the leasing office for my welcome letter so I can find out how much I have to pay on move in day, TWO WEEKS now and I have been getting the run around from the manager there and the leasing agents! Everyone is saying “ok I will send it right now” I HAVE YET to receive anything! If this is how this place functions as soon as my lease is up IM LEAVING! THIS IS SO UNORGANIZED AND UNPROFESSIONAL! I AM VERY UNSATISFIED WITH THIS PLACE!
The leasing office is pretty good. Maintenance fixes issues almost as soon as you request it. Ive only had an issue with getting in contact with corporate. Ive called, left voicemails, and emailed and havent heard anything. Ive lived here for awhile thought my rental rate renewal was too high, considering I dont have any renovations.
I stayed 2 year in this community, first i was in 1 bedroom then while i moved to 2 bed room after 1 year they charge me $3500 for moving in same community,i paid that time .then after 1 month they told i have amont due of $1200 for miving so like that they collected $4700 extra just for moving in another appartment .then after 8 month while i was moving from Florida i have to break lease just before 2 months of lease ended, they charge me $2900 that i can understand i paid then after they charge me $300 for cleaning on this all things they took 2 deposits of my 1 bedroom apparent and 2 bedroom apparent..so like they they are cheating people just asking money and making charges.while going to office they jusy said its in the system we can’t do anything that’s the same answer everytime . We also have to go to work so instead of loosing work i paid money. But just want to let other people’s to aware about this lootians...
They charge for other people’s water usage not mine own. They are ripping people off for all these extra hidden fees.. no one answers the phones
If you want to live in the ghetto move here. You have shootings stabbings break it and much more. Trash piles up on a regular basis. Amenities like the grills have not worked in over a year, people put charcoal in them they just dont care. People having sex at the pool with little kids around and management does nothing. It may be one of the more affordable properties in the area, but do yourself a favor spend a little more money to live somewhere else, this place is horrible!
Ive lived here for three years and plan to renew my lease again. Its a little overpriced for apartments that havent been renovated but still less expensive than anywhere else in the Boynton area. The management team are great, far from annoying. The neighborhood is dog, kid, and family friendly. Its pretty quiet, mostly clean and the maintenance team are quick to respond to requests and resolve the problems.
This complex is very pet friendly and family friendly. They have an amazing staff especially the maintenance manager always makes sure everything is going well and we are happy and comfortable with our apartment . Gracias cuba!!!!
That place is a mess. I will not recommend anybody to rent their apartment. Although I dont have pet, I acknowledge that it is a pet friendly environment. However, every morning when I woke up, I have to clean a pile of pets poop in front of my apartment. I went to the office and I reported it to them, they wouldnt do anything about it. Some neighbors have no respect for others. You want to clean pets poop everyday? Be my guess!
I love Boynton but I love where I live even more. Advenir at La Costa is a touch of luxury living. They have newly renovated modern apartments. Not to mention its minutes from the mall, 100s of stores and restaurants. Near department stores like Target and Walmart. Around the corner from like two great looking Publix supermarkets. The staff is pretty chill and neighborhood keeps to themselves. I couldnt ask for a better quality of living than Advenir at La Costa
Honestly, I couldnt ask for a better living situation. It is convenient, clean, and the office staff( though management has changed once since Ive lived here) is very helpful. I renewed my lease after living here for 1 year, as the price ( though that has gone up everywhere) was still a better deal. Im very thankful Advenir at La Costa is my home. My only recommendation is that you get an apartment deeper in the complex as those of us by busy little Congress hear the street sounds constantly. You get used to it of course and that is no deal breaker for this place. Come check it out, I think you will very much like it. Those who have given this apartment complex a bad review are likely isolated incidences and people who probably complain where ever they go. lol.
Very quite. good family neighborhood and dog friendly. everybody does a good job cleaning up after there pets. The leasing staff are hit and miss one lady is super angry with life itself but the rest are very helpful.
This place is the worst! I lived here for 7 months and I had so many problems with the apartment and management. They didn’t know anything. On top of it I paid to end my lease and now months later they are charging me almost an additional 1000 dollars for no reason. This place is a scam!!!!!
They were a complete rip off when my lease came do I was under the impression I would go to month-to-month while I waited to buy a house they put me on a new lease and then forced me to break my lease costing me to go to Collections… I always paid my bills on time… Then they overcharged for the renovation they wanted me to be responsible for the renovation I was a clean client… Youre perfect resident… Be careful theyre going to hit you on the backend for $3000 minimum
You really cant ask for much more as far as location...PERFECT!!! attentive office staff and maintenance....Very good for convienant living. I would vouch this place to anyone.

Ive never reviewed an apartment complex before, but I feel like people need to be warned. My car and several others have been broken into multiple times. When signing my lease I was lied to and told their was security that drives around nightly and that is not the case. The neighborhood was on the news after a stabbing occurred here. Both pools are currently shut down by Florida Board of Health. Cars that do not work and have expired tags take up parking. Management is rude, uneducated and unhelpful . Brought up concerns with the S. FL regional manager hoping to have some action taken but clearly the neighborhood is a good representation of how awful the Advenir company is.
To give this place a 1 star is being generous.Some tried to break in to my car,roof leaks once a month, do not move here.
The leasing office staff is hit and miss. I cant stand one of the guys there, told him I had mold in my apartment (stanley steamer was cleaning my vents and pointed it out to me) and he responded, its not mold, Ill send someone there. I told him I had a child there and had to have someone take care of it asap and he just acted like I was in the way and on his nerves. The same guy who I told to cancel my carpet cleaning days (if n ot a week) before they showed up at my door. Same guy that sent me a notice saying I needed to renew my lease a month after I signed it. >_< After they have the lease signed, its whatever to them it seems.Jay, from maintenance is phenomenal. If you need anything taken care of, ask for him. He goes the extra mile. I paid to have my mold removed and he came in and fixed a couple of small issues I had been complaining about for months. Turns out the guy in the leasing office hasnt been putting everything on my work order. But all is well now and Jay didnt have an attitude about anything.The location is unbeatable...so close to shopping, transportation, the interstate, restaurants, EVERYTHING! Ive never had a pest problem. I hear occasionally someones car will get broken into, but that could happen almost anywhere. 24 hour gym access for free...a tennis court! and two pools to choose from...and two laundromats. Nice trail around the neighborhood.No kids area :/ and the water is NOT included :{ I think I got a great deal on rent and my 2/2 apartment is up to date enough. My neighbors are quiet enough...not quiet all of the time, but who is? No big complaints.
WORST PLACE IVE EVER RENTED FROM. PROPERTY MANAGERS ARE EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. LEASING AGENT MARLA IS SO RUDE AND ALWAYS HAS A NASTY ATTITUDE. I LIVED THERE WHEN IT WAS UNDER ANOTHER MANAGEMENT AND IT WASNT AS BAD AS IT IS NOW. THE NEW STAFF IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DO NOT HELP THEIR RESIDENTS AT ALL. THE APPLIANCES ARE OLD AND OUTDATED, ONCE YOU MOVE IN THEY START INCREASING YOUR RENT PAY.TAKE YOUR TIME LOOKING AROUND AND DONT RUSH INTO THIS PLACE, I DID AND I REGRET IT. THEY HAVE ALOT OF HIDDEN FEES.
Prior to Advenirs management, I had no major problems with La Costa; actually LOVED IT. With new management I am eager to get out of this place. It has been almost two months I am trying to call the office but only got hold of them ONCE. If you need assistance with a simple problem, you need to walk/drive to the office which maybe very inconvenient especially if you are away from home. If you are in the area and do decide to walk/drive to the office, its either TWO PROBLEMS; they are sitting at their desk (leaving one to wonder why the ... they are not answering the phone) or the door is open and no one is there. With previous management, you would get an answer almost 90% of the time.There have been some improvements in terms of painting and roofing but the place has not been pressure washed in months and some places are beginning to look extremely nasty; a problem we did not have with GreyStar. The laundry room is extremely UNTIDY; with previous management we had two laundry facilities that were maintained and cleaned. Now, the only laundry room is dirty, the tiles are nasty and the machines do not get wiped down; so dusty and disgusting that you do not want your clothes touching any part of it.MY POINT: NEW MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO STEP UP BECAUSE THIS IS A MESS; MAYBE IF CALLS WERE BEING ANSWERED, THIS REVIEW WOULD NOT BE POSTED. NICE QUIET ENVIRONMENT WITH DECENT PEOPLE (MANAGEMENT IS THE PROBLEM!!!!!) ALSO, CLEAN THE ENTIRE COMPLEX; NOT ONLY THE BUILDINGS IN THE FRONT!

Worst place to live.the manager LISA is very inconsiderate and all she does is smoke cigarettes instead of attending to residents issues....they raise the rent every year to unreasonable amount...i have been living here 3 yrs now and every time i have a maintenance problem i have request multiple work orders plus go to the office and talk to them in person before the problem is rectified....the manager make u feel as if u are unimportant, she has bad customer service skills....u feel as if u are begging to live here instead of paying ur rent...i had to contact my lawyer on one occasion for them to fix the collapsing roof...WORST PLACE TO LIVE!!!!!!!

There are more than a dozen complaints registered with BBB. No cold water, huge grotesque cockroaches, unattended dog feces in the courtyard and odors...stay away if you can...
Do yourself a favor and live somewhere else.
This complex is terriblethere was a stabbing right next to my window, management sucks, and the leasing office is awful
