They really make the customer feel special and take their time cutting hair. My boyfriend was very pleased with the results and I was very happy with how his hair looked afterward. Definitely will be returning for future hair cuts for him.

I have been going to Modern Man for a few months now and I refuse to get my hair cut anywhere else. The staff is very friendly and personable. But more importantly they are all masters of their craft. I never leave looking worse than I came in. Stephane is diligent and takes pride in his cuts. Modern Man has secured a long time customer in me and hopefully in whoever stumbles across this review as well.

Pretty good spot and never had to wait more than 5 minutes when I come in mid afternoon usually.

The best barber shop in Boynton Beach. My husband and both my boys all have very different hair texture types. No matter which barber has given the hair cut, all my boys have come out looking fantastic. If youre a walk in, the wait is on occasion long (30 minutes tops weve ever waited) but well worth it. Friendly atmosphere, efficient, and great pricing! We will never go anywhere else.

I love this place! They are real cool there. There is always cool music. And last time I took my son there for a cut, I got free salsa lessons!! It’s a fun environment and they are great stylists.

I just had the worst haircut experience in recent memory. I start my new job this week and now have to go to a different barber to get it fixed. I just sat in a chair for over 2 hours with zero talking, and only once showing me the mirror after about 1.15 hours where I finally had the opportunity to request a change. My hair is simple. I gave very specific instructions and even showed 2 photos of different angles of my hair of exactly what I wanted. Finally after 2 hours, I see that the fade is horrible, and looks nothing like the photos that I showed. Since 90% of the 2 hours in the chair was focused on the fade, I was absolutely shocked. I couldnt risk asking her to fix it because it was already so short and took that long to get to this point. There was no communication and the fade ended up choppy as hell. Stay away from the girl with purple hair.

I stopped in today to get cleaned up for an event that I am attending tomorrow, and because I have an old friend that works in the shop there. The pros and cons are as follow.Pros1. I was greeted promptly and politely upon entering the door.2. The seating was comfortable, and there wasn’t a rushed atmosphere. The barbers take their time and have pride in their craft.3. I enjoyed several conversations while waiting, but the one that spoke most to me was when an employee was explaining the value of education and motivation to one of the younger clients. This was all handled in an encouraging tone, and it really let me know that the employees take an interest not only in their craft, but in the people they are serving.4. The haircut and beard trim was the standard fare. I am a simple man, and my haircuts reflect that. I didn’t feel rushed while getting worked on, like you do in some of the other hair cutting places that there areCons1. They are too far for me to go to regularly, but I know I will stop in whenever I need to be cleaned up for an event in south Florida.2. (See #1)

Great barber shop! Everyone is very nice and the cut was very affordable. They have a really talented and staff. I have tried 5 other local hair places for my three year old son and have never been happy with the cut. Finally found the best barber, Andy took his time and did an amazing job.

Been going to shop since I’ve moved to Boynton Beach about 2 months ago. Cut my hair with Oscar every time and he’s never done me wrong. Understood exactly what I needed from first visit. If it’s your first time I definitely recommend asking for Oscar, he won’t disappoint.

They have good conversations and even if youre in to something niche, theyd take the time to learn about it, listen and give their opinion. Most of them including the manager speaks with conviction. Its great. My hair seems to get done faster even time flies. Theyve got an Xbox and a vending machine to relax while you wait. Perfect 😎

I did have quite the wait despite my appointment. Once a barber, Jazz, was available my hair was done with good attention to detail. Would definitely recommend, just expect to spend some time there regardless of any appointments made.

After being recommended by some friends I decided to get a h haircut at Modern Man an was absolutely impressed with my hair cut. My barber was Donnie and he did a great job making sure my hair was blended and styled just right. It was a good experience and they know what they are doing.

Barber completely disregarded what I wanted. I explained that I wanted a skin fade and keep the top half longer, even showed him a picture after explaining it perfectly. He buzzed the top and left it way shorter than I asked and it was also uneven. It also isnt a skin fade at all, only the back. It was my first time trying this barbershop since I am looking for a barber after recently moving, here but I will not be returning.

Got my cut from Luis (the owner). I’ve been cutting with him for a while now but he did a terrible job. He rushed through my haircut left cuts on my forehead when doing my tape and I woke up with a bunch of white bumps on the back of my neck (probably from a dirty razor). Really disappointed and will not be coming back here again. Stay away from this place there’s a lot of better PROFESSIONAL places around, this place feels like you’re in the hood when you walk in.

My son gets his haircut here and doesnt want to go anywhere else. Lou does a great job!

EDIT 09/17/19: I have gone to this location a few times and I have never had a problem with my haircut this last time I went I happened to be cut by a new guy and all I wanted was a fade they legit cut one side off more than the other my tape is usually straight but this time the guy wasnt even able to line it up well. This guy managed to screw up my hair and wasnt even able to do a proper fade. I am so disappointed I am never going here again!

Can’t recall the barbers name that cut my hair, however it was a horrible cut, the hard cut part line is shaped like a check mark where it curves up near my forehead, then the owner of the establishment saw he messed up on the rear of my head. Paid 30$ for this cut. I am very displeased with this cut. I had high hopes due to being referred here by a friend. This cut took 2 hours, and I was not shown my head after the final cut had been done. Simply “You’re done, appreciate you coming in today and trying us out”. Apparently the barber that had cut my hair is new to the location.Summary: Not worth the money. I was so tired of sitting in the chair that I really just wanted to leave. Also, this barber is apparently new to cutting hair so I’m unsure why they would allow a inexperienced barber cut hair without supervision.

Really disappointed with my experience. Setting up appointment went without a hitch, even last minute. However, when I arrived I sat down, and some guys awkwardly asked if I had an appointment sitting down beside me, who after waiting another 10 min or so, I found out would be cutting my hair. I asked for a specific cut, which I was not given as they seem to only specialize in the ultra trendy fade, since everyone seemed to have the same cut leaving. I said I didnt want my facial hair shaped, which he proceeded to do anyways. After the cut the man said he only prefferred cash, and acted annoyed I would be paying with a card. No clue were all the stellar reviews are coming from. Will not be back.

A business full of customers is alwaya a good sign. Especially when they have 7 or 8 people cuttin hair so it shows that they arent understaffed. They are just that damn good.

I’m sure, based on prior reviews that they are fine barbers here. However don’t treat customers well at all. I made an appointment for noon, showed up 5 minutes prior while Andy finished up a client. When he was done he allowed someone ahead of me. Before beginning I identified myself as his 12 o’clock, and he just said he would get me after. I informed him I only had 30 mins before needing to return to work, hence the appointment, but he still wasn’t willing to take me ahead of the walk in.He did ask a coworker if she would take me, but she declined without reason. I tried waiting but had to leave before I could be taken care of. When I respectfully said I had to leave and “thanks anyway” there was no response, just stared at me like I’m a jerk for leaving ?Very disappointed

Best barbershop Ive ever been to, the barbers are friendly and professional. Theres a pool table in there, so thats a plus and they have nice comfortable seating area. Music is always nice and caters to everyones liking.
