I bought a used Honda Accord and I knew it needed a bit of maintenance. I took it to a Honda dealership for a once over, where they (...of course) told me it need over $5000 worth of work. I took it to Chucks and got a really honest evaluation from Kostas. He explains everything, and I never feel as though hes trying to sell me stuff I dont need. I went to 2 other foreign car mechanics in the same day prior to driving by Kostas and stopping. I was welcomed almost immediately and offered a fair price and quick work. I was there maybe an hour. The garage next door made me feel kind of stupid and Im glad I decided to drive away and stop here instead.

I stopped here because my engine coolant light came on near their shop. The owner looked at my car for about 45 minutes and gave me the possible reasons for my coolant light indicator. We discussed what needed to be done to fix the coolant leak but at the time I wasnt ready to do so. They did not charge me for anything. I would go back based on the honest and direct nature of the shop owner.

They wouldnt release my car without me paying for the tow that I didnt authorize. This is not a business I recommend ever. They told me if I didnt like it that I could get a lawyer. They really took advantage of a single mother. Had I known they were going to charge me I would have gotten it towed by my AAA.
