Stephen Radcliff was the most accommodating customer service gentleman of all the many, many places we looked. and we looked everywhere between Bowling Green and Nashville. You had the camper we wanted but Stephen was the real reason we bought it. Your store on Nashville had one close and cust service rep was goodStephen truly wanted us satisfied and so knowledgeable. We love our motorhome!!!!!
The customer service team at Camping Worlds solution to poor operating locations is to bribe you with a $200 gift card. They dont want to acknowledge that they have issues to address with over promising and under delivering on service. The issues with locations are the same thing you will run into when reaching out to corporate for concerns. Very sad and I would advise anyone and everyone to shop elsewhere.
I would give negative if I could. I called Corporate because we were having issues at our local office and couldnt get resolved. The ladies that took the notes to open case were great. Then the actual person who was handling our case called. He acted like it was our fault that we were having issues. Basically like we lied or were lying. Here are some of the issues we had. No communication, not on same page, no organization, and employees are not held accountable for their rudeness. If you try and complain or makes you the bad guy. They will not admit when they did something wrong. They dont make it right either. Ill never step into a Camping world or Gander Mountain again. I also will not purchase from their online stores.
I ordered an item online from Camping World in March 2021. After delivery being pushed back three times I finally bought the item locally and called to cancel my order. I called on March 27,2021. I have yet to receive a refund. I have sent three emails and made three phone calls with nothing resolved. Still no refund. Will never purchase anything from Camping World again.

Whatever you do, do not order online and have it shipped to the store. I placed an order 2 months ago. It was supposed to be ready for pickup at the store which is part of the world headquarters within 24 hours. I went to the store to pick up my order and guess what. Yup, it wasnt there nor was there a record of it. Fortunately, I screen shot everything I order online so I had all the information ready. They said that they would send it to my address because they had 4 on the truck waiting to be unloaded. That was a month ago. Im still waiting. I admit, I waited 2 weeks to pick up my order in the first place. But that means that it should have been there when I did show up to get it. Now, its been 2 months and I still dont have what I paid for. I should have known better. My ex used to answer the phones there and she told me all about how Noone from the service department would take the calls and how people were waiting 6 months or more on their campers to be repaired. Noone accepts the calls. Attorneys call because people are suing them over their piss poor customer service because they want their campers. Lots of new campers coming out of there with issues. Do yourself a favor and buy a camper anywhere else. Only buy from the store if you cannot find it cheaper somewhere else.

I took our Dynamax Isata for warranty repairs to the North Charleston, SC location on 8/22/2020. In the meantime their shop was broken into and the catalytic converter stolen. Several eta promises were broken and we havent been able to use our camper for over two months now. Im particularly disappointed about the lack of communication. I left a support request with HQ and have not heard anything! Terrible experience!! Beware!
After having very poor quality work performed at Gander RV Buford I contacted the service manager and corporate seeking a refund. They were only willing to offer to correct the issues. While appreciated it would have cost me over 4 hours of my time and I do not care to give second chances when it comes to electrical issues and my families safety. Corporate threw “its company policy” at me. I would not recommend using A company that can not offer a labor refund for dangerous/ incorrect work. Steer clear of this company.
CW Is now replacing our roof for a SECOND TIME after messing up the first installation.They have had the unit for almost a month and JUST now last week started work and have not even started work on any of the 6 items on the invoice.When you call corporate and the person that is assigned to your case number is not there, no other person can help you because they are not allowed to “cross case files”!Stay away! Run to another dealer!!!
If there was negative stars - that is how I would rate them! Poor Customer Service after the sale. Colfax, NC Service Dept damaged my camper while they had it in their possession and then returned it with 6 inches of standing water. Brand new camper - never even used. Now they are playing the blame game - manufacturing defect - my guys didnt do that. When we said we did not want the camper any more because they damaged it, we were told its USED cannot give you what you paid for it. Really it was 42 days old, winterized and has never been used - when you took possession of it, and you did all of the damage. I no longer have a new camper it will be refurbished - and I am making payments for a brand new one!! This is what could happen to you - Buyers Beware.
Bought Camping world member card that included $25 gift certificate. Was not told of the short 3 month expiry. Certificate expired before I got home (they mail the certificates to your home address, instead of issuing them on the spot).After 4 calls sending me in circles - they would not reissue the certificate. We bought a camper in December of 2018, camping world in Asheville nc. Has had our camper more than we have! The customer service sucks! Ive called for 4 days and cant get a call back ! This place is so ridiculous! Ill never buy from them again! They want call us back, their never.. at their desk..etc this place is a nightmare! Plan out sucks!

This company has a great ploy when you visit a dealership they ask you to sign in with your name home address and e-mail then in a few months you get junk mail. I gave them a bogus e-mail address so that part of the ploy did not work. But really junk mail they must be desperate. My best review of this company is I have met better used car salespeople
My wife and I enjoy camping just hate we purchased from camping world. We have had MAJOR ISSUES including it being wrecked at their dealership while waiting for a part to come in. Poor customer service at best and their service department doesnt have a clue. I have owned my camper for 8 months and it has been in service for a total of 5 of those months. Not one thing has been fixed right the first time and this unit had too many issues to be new. Their corporate office isnt any better. We contacted them 5 times in the past month with no call back from corporate rep. Do not purchase anything from this corporation!!!
Bought brand new toyhauler in April, love the camper. We had issues with the camper, from factory, and for a very poor dealer prep and got very frustrated with camping worlds customer service. However, I would like to add a positive edit, I am very impressed with Eric, the service manager, he has been extremely helpful and gone the distance to make things right, not only in fixing the camper but to mend the belligerence and disrespect that the store Manager gave us. Because of people like Eric in service, and Darryl in sales, I will go back for service and possibly a new camper in the future.
Misleading advertising. Tried to order a RV product online, and then by telephone, to take advantage of free shipping for Good Sam members and use Camping Worlds $10 Bonus Savings card. Cannot be done online, period. According to Alexis, one is required to mail in the $10 promo card and possibly receive account credit. Typical Camping World service. What a joke!
Let me say our experience with Camping World has to be the worst of the worst. The dealership we did business with in Roanoke, VA should have their doors locked and put out of business. From the salesman to the service manager to the general manager...they dont have a clue.Purchased a new 2018 Freedom Elite, Class C motor coach with major and simple warranty issues. They couldnt even keep up with the keys to the coach. Purchased in July and here we are nearing the end of September and only 1 minor repair complete out of a list of 13. The service manager and the general manager have lied us to our face.Dont do business with this dealership if you want to enjoy your camper or motor coach.We are ready to pursue litigation.
I would like to terminate my Extended Warranty, Assurant/Premium Platinum Warranty.The Warranty Company will not reimburse me for any of the $2000.00+ costs I incurred.They dont consider it a travel interruption! and wont pay.Im tired of being on the road and not being able to find a Camping World/Authorized Service Center who would even work on it!This Warranty is worthless! I petition to have the entire warranty contract reimbursed. You can also bet I will never go to or recommend Camping World again!

In one word...TERRIBLE. Our travel trailer is still under warranty. They have had it for over two weeks in Katy, TX. Friends bought the same unit and had same AC difficulties. Unbearably hot!! For our friends, they installed a second AC unit, free of charge. For us it was essentially too bad we cant help you unless you pay $1,700.00. WOW!!!! Somehow I guess there money was better than ours. We feel very disgusted that we are the ones who recommended them to our friends. I will be at every RV show in the Houston area wearing a sign that says please talk to me before buying from Camping World. Terrible, terrible customer service. Pick and choose who they will fix things for and who they wont. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!! Would put no stars but not an option.
Regarding TV Satellite Install, my experience was as follows:The install was NOT tested - I was assured that it would work.The process to ensure installation has problems from front end to back-end, including QA, and is broken.Install was done by someone other then their expert - Sawdust and chips left on the floor.While I brought my Direct TV receiver to test, they said they could not test it because I didnt bring the power cord. In fact, the client receiver is not needed for my installation. A simple test with the controller would have resulted in detecting a connection issue between the controller and the satellite dish. They lack of basic understanding of how their equipment works, and could have tested the system in less than a minute.Grade: F
We recently visited the Oakwood office and found on both times very unfriendly staff. No one will hardly speak, and never ask if they could help us. Several employees standing around some never acknowledge us at all. Did get a call after I posted an email to them about their service.We set up a meeting to meet with Shaw Anneke he was there but, past us off to another salesman named T J. He was helpfully. We did buy a camper A BIG MISTAKE. The guy that did our orientation (Will)was very nice. Also when picking camper up, questioned some of the items that was on paperwork could not get any help or answer on what it was. We have called 5 times to speak to service about some issues that we found when we got the camper home. NO ONE HAS RETURNED OUR CALL YET. We just hired someone to fix them because of needing to use camper. We live 2 hrs away. There was no paper work to show what the vehicle service contract covers, that we paid $2,995.00. No info was in camper that shows how to work anything. As big as your company is customer services should be a priority. At this time would not recommend Camping World.
Customer Service, integration, product support, vehicle service are all an abomination. The ONLY way to improve a Camping World Experience would be for an atomic bomb to blow the thing to bits and start from scratch. They ONLY thing they care about is rolling junk off the lot. Service after the sale is garbage. The Profit (Marcus Lemonis) is only interested in how much Jet A he can put into his corporate jet.
After making the largest non mortgage investment in my life on a brand new Winnebago Class A, I can say without hesitation that Camping World has the worst service department I have ever experienced. Unreturned calls, unfixed warranty issues after several tries, theyve had my RV for longer than I have a year later. Been waiting 3 days for an update after leaving 6 messages with 3 different people including managers. THE WORST.
I bought the trailer, had some issues with it, which were fixed before I took it home. Now that its home with a couple other issues, I cant get anyone in the service department to call me back. My salesman is great and is trying to help. Very Frustrating.

I wish I would have read these reviews before we bought our trailer. Apparently their service is terrible everywhere. We bought a new 2016 Bullet Trailer from Camping World Anderson at the end of April, as of 8/12 the service dept has had the our trailer longer than we have, overall they have had it over month and half and have done nothing to it. In June they had it for two weeks for minor repairs, told them that we needed it by 6/28 because of annual camping trip. We picked it up on the 29th and absolutely nothing had been done to it, said they were waiting on parts, so we took it back in on 7/5 after several call we finally got someone to call us back on 8/10 and they have done nothing to our trailer said they were waiting on parts, told them them said the same thing in June so how long does it take to get parts. When we dropped it off in July told them that we needed 1st week of Aug. because of deer camp, so here we sit with deer camp approaching and we have no trailer. We are so sorry that we ever bought from them. They have taken the excitement out of our purchase of our first new trailer. The promise you the moon, until they get their money then they dont know you.

Bought a 2015 brand new Road Ranger model 346FLR in late summer of 2015 - CASH MONEY. Discovered several electrical issues and refrigerator issues (actually the refrigerator issue was reported Sept of 2015 when I took the unit back to have it coated) but I informed the London Ohio Camping World that when I brought it in the Spring of 2016, we could take care of the refrigerator issues. I dropped my unit off on Thursday the 14th and received no calls from camping world about my unit. I called them Wed the 20th in the a. m. to find the status of my unit and they informed me that it was not pulled in yet to be looked at. I registered a complaint with Camping World HQ in Bowling Green Ky. When I bought the unit, I also bought a Good Sam Extended Service plan for $2,015.00 - seems they want to take your money but their service is lousy at best.
Sorry i bought not 1 but 2 motorhomes from Camping World . Service is terrible if you do go to camping world spend a whole day making sure everything works. Very disappointed.......motorhome sitting in shop more than used for camping. I liked our sales guy but disappointed what he told me ......said he would be behind me and available to help with any issue No help yet. Motorhome has been to shop at least 6 times to get re fridge repaired.

Camping World Corporate is such a joke !! These people are running a scam of good, honest Americans who have bought into an American dream of buying, owning an RV, Travel Trailer or other campers, with the American dream of seeing our incredible country, and usually at great expense. Camping World seems there only to take advantage of these honest people in every way possible. The Camping World brand has become known as an UnAmerican bunch of scammers interested only in how much the FOOLS at the top can drain from the corporation, while providing a 1930s completely, and deliberately outdated type of customer service group, which is designed simply to aggrivate and frustrate their clientele. Only carrying about sales, these corporate vultures serve only their own pockets. My wife and I purchased a travel trailer at the beginning of 2016 with the innocent hopes of seeing the country. Our unit has spent months in the service dept. in Golden Colorado, while being lied to by the service dept. claiming always that they are awaiting approval from Keystone. All the while, having never done anything. This amateur operation is not only sanctioned by local executive, but by the frauds at Camping World Corporate. This is not only UnAmerican, it is a deliberate scamming of the people that they depend on for their stupendous compensations. These people should be targeted and run out of town!!! Buyer beware!!!!
Our motor home had hail damage. Our insurance company said we had to take our unit to camping world of council bluffs Ia. because they got the best discount there. The coach has been there three times over about a four month period and they still dont have it done. The biggest problem we have is getting there service department to call back after two or three times over days we will get some one one the phone. Now it is Oct 17th and I tried to get them on the phone today and no return call. We want to leave for Az no later than Oct 28th. And our unit isnt done. One more thing, the last time it was there I told them to check the satellite dish, they said I needed a new dish. I told them to put the same one on that it had on it a King Dome. They called and said they couldnt get that one but they had a better one and they gave me a price. They called me back a couple of days later and said it was going to cost more because they had to raise the dish and it would take about three hrs more labor. I told them to go ahead but dont raise it more than the King Dome because it wont go in my garage because of door height. Well, after I got it back it is at least 7 too high with all of the air out of the bags. So I called them and they are claiming they asked me to measure my door and call them back and that is BS. So its my fault they put it on higher than the King Dome.They say most of the problem is getting the parts. After a month or more I had to tell them where to buy the parts and they are supposed to be the experts. I guess Ill take the coach to Az the way it is and have it fixed there and let Camping World and my Insurance Company pay the bill there. It will be in Az until late April of 2017.
I am VERY disappointed in Camping Worlds customer service. We had problems with our hydraulics at a campground with my 90 year mother. I called both Harrisburg and Akron camping worlds. Could not get anyone in the service dept to pick up for over 30-45 min. Finally got connected....the guy had no help for us but directed us to call Lippert for help. John at Lippert was extremely helpful and stayed on the phone for almost an hour. Got the jacks up to get hooked to the truck.. had a call from camping world that we had an appt the following Fri at 9am. On following Thurs, it was a two hour drive to take our 5th wheel over to Akron. They had no appt for us. Left our camper. Called them following Thurs for update. Not even in the shop yet. Their customer service is awful. If you do a rant on them, then things start happening. If you dont, good luck getting something fixed.
Terrible experience in the Service Dept of Camping World Charleston SC. Advisor was cocky and arrogant and when reported to the supervisor, he acted like he could care less. And, being full-time annd needing to stay with my unit seemed like a big hassle for them. Day two. Still waiting for the warranty repair that I made an appt for...LAST WEEK!Do not count on this place.

The Colorado Springs / Fountain Co. C.W. has had my 2015 Cross Roads since the 2 of June to replace a defective awning. Today is 7/2/2015 and no awning!!! I have tried to track it down myself, but have meet with road blocks every inch of the way. I have tried the GM, Service Mngr, left messages for a call-back by the Service Mngr, it will not happen this week. Maybe this winter I can get out in Colorado, not this summer.
I cant believe that after 31K on a new toy hauler, it did not come with a tv. There is room for three but no tvs, will not ever buy from camping world again. Ridiculous.

Ordered from Camping World on 6-11-15, have yet to receive the majority of my items of which NONE are on back order according to Sherry in sales. sent an email on the 18th at 1038am - to which I have yet to even get an automated response to. On the 23rd I called the 800 number to find out why my order has yet to process - waiting on hold 58 minutes before ever getting a human on the phone - who was actually from sales and not customer service. Sherry investigated and told me she was not sure what happened and that Josh from CS in the corporate office would call me THAT day - I have yet to hear from Josh.. Called again today on hold 23 minutes before getting a human being to be told that indeed there are major issues as they have recently gotten a new computer system which appears to be plagued with issues and cause major delays in orders. Ashley could not provide a lot of information so I asked to speak with her supervisor who was rude from the start (probably tired of handling customer complaints in the sales department), and escalated my anger with the situation. So I told Roy they should tell the customer there could be a delay or that items are on back order that would be the HONEST thing to do - so the customer can make their own decision to purchase - to which he told me corporate makes those decisions not him. So I asked to speak to corporate - his response - well that would be Josh who already did not call me back! This company should be ashamed! I will never order from them again.
