I have been a long time customer of Top Hat Video. Way back when it was located inside 5 points mall. They are one of very very few stores that to this day have the same feel as way back when. The staff is amazing and friendly, the movies are still laid out as they always have been. Also one of the only movie rental places still around. This place has great prices! Make an effort to go here! We take the kids every weekend and rent movies. Id rather give them my money vs redbox. They have all the titles I have looked for.

My family has gone to Top Hat for decades! Of course now we have streaming services, but even still, an actual movie store is so nice to have! They have a massive selection, significantly better than what you find streaming and for such low prices! The owners are also wonderful.

I love Top Hat Video! The store is well organized, has a computer for the customer to search for titles, has a really helpful staff, and is still reasonably priced. Plus they have almost any movie you are looking for! Highly recommend this business.

Even though you can basically stream anything online these days, there is always something more family oriented when you go as a family to pick out a couple of movies, grab some snacks and popcorn and go home to watch!! I don’t rent from Top Hat anymore — not only because I never bothered replacing my old DVD player, but I’m pretty sure I still have late fees that incurring interest from when I returned Armageddon three weeks late back in 1998.That still doesn’t stop me from walking in and smelling the place, “old movie” smell is the new “used bookstore” smell.

I have never been treated so poorly as I have today. My family went in to purchase a movie because we didn’t want to go to Walmart in order to help smaller businesses. We do not wear masks. We were treated as though we were second rate citizens instantly. A kid working yelled that it was a law. I told him it is not a law and that it is a mandate. I then said we’d leave and spend our money elsewhere. He said, Good! And sorry there’s a pandemic going on,” in a condescending tone. The gal behind the counter then said, “thanks for coming in,” in a berating tone. I hope that not all your employees treat the customers that way.

Ive been going to Top Hat for more than 30 years! My family and I love to try to support local businesses so we go often enough, that weve become great friends with the employees there, they are so awesome they feel more like family!We love a lot of genres of movies and Top Hat carries them all! Classic, Musical, Drama, Action/Adventure, Comedy, New Release, Horror, TV Series, etc.. They also carry multiple formats which is great since we have different players at our house. We love that recently they have gotten some older movies in a Blu-ray format and have put them on the new release wall showing they now offer the title on Blu-ray.Their punch passes save us money on our movie rentals so if you rent a lot of movies like us, punch passes are the way to go. If you dont rent a lot, you can always watch for their daily deals each month!The thing we love the most is finding a specific movie were looking for that weve had a hard time finding anywhere else to rent or even purchase. We love the rare gems we find at Top Hat!

The last of the dying video store. First time I took my kids here they couldnt believe all the options. They had so many more choices than what was available at Red Box. Its so much fun to go in and find movies from the past that you wont find on any streaming service. Its also fun to have a staff full of movie lovers to give suggestions.

I have so many fond memories of Top Hat!! It always feel like family when I go in, and even though the employees are young they are always polite, and gave a good sense of humor about them.

Top Hat Video is an amazing place. I have been going to Top Hat all my life, since the time when they had VHS! I love the environment here. Though I come in search for a movie (which I always find more than I intend to), I enjoy the friendlily conversations with the kind employees. This is the place to rent videos! Their daily deals are awesome! Frequently, I rent 4 7-day rentals for just $4 and that provides entertainment the whole week long. They are very friendly, often forgiving, and always helpful. The selection they have is huge and better than you ever guess till you find that obscure cult favorite you didnt think you could.

Its a dying industry so Im glad they are still around. My kids love to go and actually see the movie covers and pick some out to bring home. I love Top Hats summer punch pass for the family movies.

I love Top Hat! If you dont follow them on Facebook, you really should. Their posts about new releases are hilarious. They carry movies you cant really find anywhere else. The staff is always happy to help and super friendly. They have awesome deals every day! Definitely check them out.

This store is so COOL. One of the last video rental places still around. Their selection is AMAZING, and their prices are competitive with redbox and other rental companies. They have been around for so long they have almost anything you could think of!! Definitely need to check it out!

Top hat is a great place to get new releases, old classics, and some pretty unique dvd/blueray videos. Staff is friendly. And its the only video store around!

I mean, this place is really the last of its kind around here. They have almost any movie you can think of and in most cases its less than a red box and for much longer! Its awesome!

Great local shop and one of the last of its kind. I cant think of another place that you can still rent older movies anymore. Sure redbox is good for recent stuff but if you are looking for classics or anything more than a month or so old this is the place! They have a monthly calendar with fun rental promotions and a rack full of theater style treats. Video game rentals are also available. There is something very nostalgic about renting a movie this way. As a bonus, they have a Christmas section that they pull out for the holidays which must have more than a hundred movies in it.

Top Hat is a great Video store! The staff is amazing. They are fun and knowledgeable. I like to touch and hold the jackets while Im reading about a movie. There is just a great vibe in the store and so many movies!

I love going to Top Hat Video for many reasons, not only do I get the trendy seasonal movies but they also have an amazing oldies selection! Its nice to be able to wonder through their aisles and find Gone with the wind, or Elvis, Marilyn and others classic movies, even THX1138!. I enjoy going with the kids as well, its so fun when they get to pick a movie after examining the cover. The prices are so reasonable, its so family friendly! Another amazing part of this store, are the employees, they are always smiling, in good cheers, and always willing to go get that movie for you or/and suggest some cool ones you may have missed or dont even know of. I wish there more more places like this!!!

Ive been going to Top Hat Video for as long as I remember (it used to be in 5-Points Mall). I cant believe theyve stayed in business, but I sure am glad they have. With an ever fragmenting streaming market, I hope a return to physical media emerges. Like browsing a library or book store, nothing beats the experience of renting from a local video store. But Im just an aging hipster, so what do I know?

The absolute best place to go for parents who want to keep a handle on what media their kids are exposed to. Were fortunate to have this place here. I hope its here forever. Just try to come up with a movie title that they dont have. I tried and couldnt do it. I love being able to see movies I havent seen in decades, and someday I hope to be able to see all the movies John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, Gary Cooper, and Danny Kaye were in.

Top Hat Video is the classic video store experience. Its a bit nostalgic to walk in and have a chance to pick from old and new movies. Their selection is Stellar and staff super friendly as well as knowledgable. Go get 100 rentals for 100 bucks!!! Im there every Friday night to get my Saturday/ Sunday movie binge selection!

I love that this sort of place still exists. The selection of movies is great, with old and new movies being easy to find and well organized into category and blue ray or dvd. The price is reasonable and unless its a very new movie you usually have a week to watch and return it. They also run a lot of sales all the time and have a calendar available online and in store so you can plan your movie nights. In addition to all that you can even search for what movies are available and when new movies will be in online and in store at an easily accessible kiosk. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

We are so lucky to have a friendly local video store! The big chains have closed, but these guys have the secret to success. Great customer service, amazing selection, and awesome daily promotions. Get their monthly calendar to know which days are discounts like adventure day where every movie is $1. Love the kids punchcards where it makes kids movies $0.50 each (only sold in summer months). Yes, a lot of the movies are streamable, but not all. Plus, its just a different experience to go choose one at the movie store :).

The last hour they are open each night you get a DVD for 60c or something like that.. the place is very popular even with all the new digital competition and Boxes around town... Love this place. Only place anymore that gives you the nostalgic feeling of perusing isles of movies. Large selection old and new, cult classics to new wave mainstream. Great deals and well taken care of discs. They even do VHS conversions to DVD 😁 for those who dont know what VHS is..... A video store that its still open with competitive pricing!? Yes please! Sometimes Redbox or streaming services dont have what you want, so its nice to have this gem still open. Every time I go inside I get nostalgic about going to the video store with my family on the weekends, growing up. I hope this company is doing well and sticks around.

This place is a Bountiful/NSL institution! Since the dawn of time--or at least the first time I remember going to Top Hat in the early 90s--the staff have always been knowledgeable, helpful, and enthusiastic about cinema. And games! In fact, were it not for Top Hat, my childhood would have been void of the pleasure of Mortal Kombat II, on Sega Genesis. May it be around forever, and may you have the good fortune to consort there at, and drop some coin.

Great selection of movies and they will take requests for further options. They clean the discs before you borrow them and if weve ever had a problem with the disc being too scratched, they have offered us a free rental.

Top Hat Video is my happy place. The staff is great, the movie selection is amazing, and the atmosphere is just fantastic. I go here at least once a week if not more. VERY HIGHLY recommend.
