We brought our two toddlers in for passports and Jessica was so helpful through the whole process! I sure appreciated having someone so knowledgeable and confident in their position. Thank you so much for your help!!
I cant help but feel that the majority of these negative reviews have to do with the postal service as a whole (which is undergoing major labor shortages and issues with COVID), rather than this specific location. I have many packages that arrive from overseas that cannot be received without a signature, and as I am at work, I end up picking up these packages from the post office. The ladies at the counter are always SO helpful and sweet and I have never had a single issue, theyre always bright and happy to see me, patient with myself and others, and provide a great atmosphere to their workplace. No complaints from me.
Went in regarding a passport. The woman helping me was immediately put off that I didn’t know I needed an appointment. She quickly told me I can’t do what I was trying to do (I can, she just wouldn’t take time to ask or even care). The only good thing she did was direct me to the website to make an appointment. I was already in a bad mood and you made it worse. Thanks girl working at 3:45pm on Friday.
Sincerely a good experience with them! They were very kind, helpful and patient to someone who hasnt shipped anything in years. Looking forward to paying more visits
I go to this post office everyday and the workers are polite and my packages are always delivered on time, so much better than the other post offices in the area
Great workers! Knew exactly how to resolve my problems and questions.
A nightmare! We moved and had my mail forwarded almost two weeks ago. Finally today I received ONE piece of mail. I haven’t received anything for TWO weeks and never received confirmation letters to my old or new mail box. No one answers the phones. I’m furious! Where is my mail?!
I moved a week and a half ago and my mail is not being forwarded it is still being delivered to the OLD ADDRESS and i have been calling this branch everyday multiple times per day and NO ONE ever answers the phone. It is like no one works there. It is ridiculous. Who does this! What is the purpose of putting in a forwarding mail address if they refuse to follow the request! So irritating.
Some of their delivery folks are lazy, while some are very good and polite people. Wish the Post Master was better at their job.
The mail lady that delivers our mail keeps putting mail in the wrong mail box if you cant deliver to the right address how is she able to deliver and it happens every day. We get someone in a different apartment and the mail thats scanned never makes it in ours. If you cant do your job get a different one.
Honestly terrible in every way possible. Not only will 2 day shipping take over a week and a half to travel one state, but this branch personally has the worst customer service. Forget about even trying to call them because I firmly believe they dont actually have a phone. You can call repeatedly all day everyday and they will not answer. This is from experience. You go in to try and figure it out just to get sassed by the employee? We came to pick up mail at a post office and this guy was just put off? Grow up. Truly pathetic and if its possible to just have all my packages sent to the Centerville office for pickup instead of delivery from Bountiful I will 100% do that because at least I know they can answer a phone!
Left me a notice that I have a signature required letter from IRS and to pick it up at Post Office. When I get there they spend 20 minutes looking for it and cant find. Now I need to figure this out on my own. Thanks a lot.
Im not sure what is up with all the one star reviews. I went in, got the services I needed and left. No issues. Maybe they have replaced bad staff? But it seemed like a normal post office to me.
Awful post office. They skipped my apartment building multiple days in a row. I know because I have a package being tracked and I kept getting notifications that my driveway was blocked so they couldnt deliver the mail...we have a massive parking lot with 3 entrances, none of which are blocked.I just think the person whos route Im on is lazy and doesnt want to deliver stuff, because this has happened about 20 times in the last year where they just skip days of delivery, then claim that our (completely empty) mailbox was full so we have to go to the post office to pick up our mail.
A post office like any other. Whats with all the 1 star reviews? Get a hobby, boomers.
They NEVER answer the phone! I’ve called 10+ times all during business hours but have never gotten anyone on the phone!
Sent a package back to sender but my address was correct. I tried calling to maybe catch it before it got sent out. They never pick up the phone. Wait time was over an hour every time I called...
It’s the Post Office. Line moves faster than most post offices and less expensive than fedex, UPS or Ontrac.
I paid extra for priority mail. The clerk said it would arrive by last Saturday. Yet my tracking says its still in-transit and arriving late. Why over charge customers for priority mail when you cant assure it will arrive on time? A week later and its still in transit. Ive tried calling this location multiple times and get no answer. This place is joke and I wont be using their services again.
We just went to this post office to get passports. We walked in soon before closing time and I think his name was Marvin helped us out. He was so great! He worked quickly and efficiently to process our applications. He was very pleasant and never complained about us coming so late in the day. I really appreciated all his help.
Does anyone ever answer the phone in Bountiful- having an issue and would rather deal with local post office employee before escalating a concern to a general web site but no answer or even a roll over - tried calling 1-800 number and said wait for an agent was close to an hour? Id like to resolve with minimal fuss with local people but not sure thats possible - I really dont want to get people in trouble if there is an explanation but I cant even find someone to talk to unless I go in person.
I’ve always had an excellent experience at this post office. The employees who help me are consistently very kind, very professional, and very helpful. That’s through the past 7 years of living in Bountiful, plus 28 years in the decades 1960-1980.
Prominent signs saying no face masks, no service on front doors. So went back to car and put on face mask as I’d forgotten to put it on. Woman walked in in front of me with no face mask. All three counters occupied by employees with NO FACEMASKS on. Nor did they say anything to patron without face mask. Corona virus rates climbing.Service was fine, but blatant disregard for your own rules makes postal service look incompetent.
Don’t answer phones.. been trying to contact them regarding a package they had forwarded for some weird reason...
1) They have a kiosk to get postage, mail letters and packages after hours or if lines are long. I use this all the time and it is the best. Place is clean and has plenty of parking. Passport applications available. Lines get long at times and there isnt a person at every window most of the time to speed things up. But this isnt Smiths. As far as a government run facility they do a good job. Workers do a good job, are helpful, and efficient.
Ive lived in Bountiful for 12 years and have never had a problem at this post office. There are long lines during the holiday season, but the rest of the time the wait is short. The staff is always pleasant and the premise is always clean. I always come to this post office because the one in NSL is only staffed by one gentleman who always seems to be taking lunch break when I arrive. Its not the Ritz Carlton, but for a post office, its pretty good. :-)
Impossible to get a hold of- I have a package that was supposedly delivered last week in my mailbox (locked mailbox) and I never received it. I have tried calling the local Bountiful Post Office numerous times at different times during that day and no one ever answers the phone. I called the mail USPS customer service line, waiting 45 minutes on hold to only be told I need to work with my local office. I did receive a call from the local office 5 days ago letting me know they received the message on my issue from the customer service and they would look into it. I have not heard anything since, and when I try to call the local number again- no one answers.
Not a good location. Always get the wrong mail at our PO Box and home address. Lost many packages because they were put in the wrong box. Unfortunate but they are government workers and I’m not sure anyone there is concerned about losing their job. You are fortunate if you positively know you have received all your mail. Chances are good you haven’t but you won’t know. Starts at the top - correct the management
0/5 Star Review. They didnt deliver a package because it was deemed Too Heavy by the mail carrier on the pink slip. It was only like 25 pounds. When I tried calling the Post Office it either ringed non-stop for several minutes until it timed out. Or you get 5 or 6 rings and you can actually hear the phone be picked up and immediately hanged up by an employee. That is horrible customer service. Avoid this location at all costs.
I have NEVER had a pleasant experience at this branch. Every time Ive gone in, the wait takes forever. The employees are sassy and rude. I understand that they deal with people all day and probably get yelled at and arent treated good. But its their job to be professional. I also was suppose to get a package 2 weeks ago and it still hasnt come. This is a USPS as a whole problem. It has gone back and forth between Salt Lake and Denver 6 times already and I need it this week. When trying to call USPS to find out what is going on, it just reroutes you through the phone tree. Calling the Bountiful branch is a joke. They hang up or they dont answer which results into a busy dial tone. If you want to talk to anyone then go into the branch.
I wish I could give zero stars. I frequently get my neighbors mail and they get mine. I have found out after the fact that there have been important bills that have been mailed to me that I never received. Delivery notifications say my package has been delivered, but I never recieved it (happened again today). Most times I call there is no answer. I once let it ring for 20 minutes (I timed it) at which time the system hung up on me. There isnt any way to leave a message. There have been 2 times when a person actually answered the phone. When I gave the tracking info they said theyd look into it and call me back. I never recieved a return call. Thank goodness Amazon will refund for packages that never arrive. I try to avoid having anything mailed to my home address if at all possible. I worry Ill have unexpected, important, and/or time sensitive mail never make it to me and my lack of action (due to ignorance since I didnt receive the letter) comes with major consequences, like a jury summons or an audit notice from the IRS.
1. They do not answer phone calls2. I went in to talk to them to ask them if I need to be in there at a specific time for a passport submission (dept. Of state said 515) the lady I spoke with here said 4:45 would be sufficient.3. At 4:45 they turn us away and tell us its first come, first serve and there is no way they would have told me 4:45.I would give them zero stars if I could.
I went there with no idea how I was going to mail two items. The office employee searched for boxes and bags helping me figure out the safest and best way to mail my things. After 10 minutes my items were packaged and on their way. Super helpful staff!
Weve lived in Bountiful for 2 years and Ive never had such bad post office service. Ive called today 7 times over the past 6 hours and the phone rings and rings and rings. This morning someone answered and said they would call me back but nothing. I dont know what can be done but this is horrible customer service.
Trying to renew my passport. One day they say they cant process due to system errors, and another day they say theyre simply too busy. To avoid this kind of situation Ive tried calling15 times over the past three days - the phone rings and rings and no one answers. Very disappointed in my experience with the Bountiful Post Office.
Delivers mail before our business is even open. We open at 10 am. They say their hands are tied, I cant believe theres not a single change they can make. Its ridiculous.
They Never answer the phone!!!Today I called and the phone rang over 8 minutes. That was the first call and the subsequent calls were NOT answered either. I was kicked out of the phone call every time. NO callpickup! NO answering machine! No help! Period. They should either shut this office down or hire enough people to truly be of help to the public. Waiting on line is hideous too. Cannot get into the National USPS number either as their wait time is 35-48 minutes. If you cannot get helped locally, you are held hostage either way! Typical government agency, but this is ridiculous at best! GO TO THE NOT SALT LAKE POST OFFICE WHERE YOU WILL GET FAST, FRIENDLY, EFFICIENT SERVICE even though their office only has ONE employee he runs rings around Bountiful P. O.
The service is terrible. Our subdivision has banks of mailboxes all clustered together, with a couple of larger boxes at the bottom for packages. When a package is delivered and put in the package box, they are supposed to put the key in our mailbox. They deliver to the right number, wrong street, or right street, wrong number. When they put the key in the wrong box, the person at the post office window (in person) asked me if I checked with my neighbors. Which ones? Right now I am trying to locate a package delivered 3 days ago and I suspect the key is in the box of a neighbor who is out of the country for a month. When I try to call the post office, it rings for 3 minutes and disconnects...every time. When they actually deliver a package to the porch, they prop it up against the door, so it I am in the house I have to go out through the garage to get it. I have big stone pillars they could tuck the box behind so it cant be seen from the street, but instead they prop it right in front of the door so everyone driving by can see it. Might as well put a neon sign on it. Common sense seems to be absent.
Terrible terrible terrible! Ive continually had pieces of my mail lost or incorrectly delivered, and Ive received items of mail of my neighbors and complete strangers in my box on almost a daily basis - which means others are receiving MY mail and not all of them are honest or patient enough to try to return it. This is a continual long-term issue that Ive complained about before. Recently an expensive International package was returned to Spain for no reason. I was never notified that it had even arrived. I have a photo of the package and it was stamped unclaimed but I had never received any notices that it needed to be claimed! That was the last straw. I took time off work so I could actually go in to talk to the manager. She apologized over and over but said there was nothing she could do now to compensate me for the returned package. She nodded knowingly when she saw my address and said she knew exactly who my carrier was (her reaction indicated its a problem employee). She would talk to my carrier (what good would that do?). She thanked me for coming in because if no one tells us there is a problem, we dont know theres a problem (but its obvious theyve had plenty of other complaints about plenty of other problems and things dont seem to be improving) I asked her to please investigate the package issue - there were tracking numbers she could use to figure out exactly what had happened. She never followed up. She told me that the ONLY thing I could do to ENSURE I receive my international packages is to put my mail on HOLD so that when the package arrived it would be held securely at the post office location until I came and signed for it and that would guarantee that it would not be returned to the country of origin. (because apparently she cant simply ensure my mail carrier is replaced by someone who knows how to do their job) So, last week I went to the hassle of putting my entire home mail service on VACATION HOLD. I did this using the secure online tool that the manager told me to use, and after following the instructions I received a confirmation by email stating that my mail would indeed be HELD beginning March 26. Well, no surprise - It is now March 30 and we are STILL RECEIVING daily mail into my mailbox that I find waiting for me when I come home from work each night! So, apparently this post office cant even handle HOLDING mail properly! With additional international packages en route to me right now *(required to be signed for) I feel sick inside. I have little hope I will receive them. Plus, what if I really was out of town and needed my mail HELD?! My mail box would be completely overflowing by now. Anyone could have stolen my mail and/or my identity. This post office has earned 100% of my distrust and disgust. Ive never experienced so many problems with USPS until now. Im being forced to take more time off work to go find out why they are not holding my mail properly. And, if they DO get their heads screwed on straight and figure out how to hold my mail, then I will have to take MORE time off work to go back to claim the mail during business hours! WORST SERVICE EVER.
This USPS location is the biggest joke! I take the time to print my own postage and every other time I’m there I get yelled at for dropping off my large packages that don’t fit in the drops at the desk without standing in line. Why do I bother even print my own postage if I have to stand in line? Then other times, they tell me to just drop them at the corner desk 🤷🏼♀️. The employees are rude. They spend more time trying to be jerks than just taking my packages. Even other customers have commented in my presence that they are ridiculous. Taking my business elsewhere. Never have this problem with UPS and Fedex.
I live near the white church in downtown Bountiful and they are CONSTANTLY delivering the mail to the wrong houses, not only for me but my neighbors as well.Im pretty sure around an hour ago (wed, June 5) I watched the mail carrier stop between my neighbor and Is homes and deliver my package to them instead. I checked my mail then and now (about 2hrs between) when the app told me my package had been delivered and there was NOTHING.I glanced at my neighbors porch and didnt see anything either hopefully they got it or the neighbor to my East got it...guess well see 👍🏻👍🏻theyre always rude when calling in and going in is a nightmare as well. I dont remember the womans name whom I dealt with last summer, but her and her team are generally garbage people.absolutely no people skills
It costs a bundle to ship a package. I had a carrier pick up my package and loose it. I have had issue after issue and have had to deal with dishonesty with this location. Thinking my money will be better spent at another shipping facility. The lady who I call to address this with acts like nothing is their fault and doesnt want to fix it. They need to get someone else in her place that can run a post office.
Ordered aome things which are being delivered theough USPS in Bountiful and they claimed they tried to deliver my pacage but the business adress was closed when they attempted delivery. I am the manager and run the store, yeaterday I was here all day from 10am till 8pm and not once did thwy come by. At 3:19pm is when they claimed they attempted delivery and I was updating the notice every few minutes from about 12pm till I left the store at 8pm. Thwy also did not leave a notice like they said they did, probably because they were not here. I got a fed ex and a UPS order but USPS is falling extremely short, and now after seeing their reviews I guess it is to be expected. Service that is not complete and then fables of attempted delivery to cover their tale. I work a stand a lone store with its own parking lot I would have recieved the package if they tried as they said they did. Irritated, frustrated, and dissappointed would describe me right now!
Just your typical government ran post office. Bad customer service, expensive, rude, etc.
Theres a Rogue Post Office in Bountiful Utah. After the Horrible Experiences I have had with them over the last three weeks, and then reading ALL the BAD REVIEWS here...I am going to report this poorly ran and obviously badly managed branch, to Senator Mike Lees Office and demand an Investigation. They never follow thru, make false promises, NEVER EVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE.They are Out of Control and need to be Checked.
Change of address for single person got messed up real good. Still trying to get a status out of them 10 days later. Did not return my call and I had to pester them to death. Seems like I am doing their job!Have also had a CARRIER sign MY name himself without notifying me that the package had arrived for MY signature. He was too lazy to come to the door for me to sign.
I was surprised to see the average review pretty low on here. I personally I always had good experiences. The staff has always been friendly and I am usually in and out fairly quickly.
Ive only mailed one package with USPS in my life and they lost it. Now they are refusing to refund my money even though it was a Priority Mail Express guaranteed package. It was a gift for my sister who just had surgery.
In my experience the employees have been pleasant, but they seem to have no sense of urgency. Be prepared for a long line that moves slowly.
Left a slip saying they missed me while I was out. I was home the entire day. Nobody came to the door. No doorbell, no knocks, no delivery attempt.
I have called no less than 20 times trying to get a hold of the post master. No answer. If any normal company was run this way they wouldn’t be open. This post office sucks.
Received a message at home trying to clear up a misunderstanding on a request to hold mail for vacation. It was not for my household, but I appreciated the fact that Russ would go out of his way to try to ensure that his customer received the service they needed. Great initiative and follow-up were displayed. Kudos Russ! Also, thank you to Angela at the Bountiful location for helping get me in touch with Russ.
Just leave the damn package on the porch. Youre just wasting everyones time.
Just as someone has mentioned before, they DO NOT answer the phone. I came for a passport photo, and the SINGULAR person in the office who could take the photo was at lunch. Is there a reason only ONE person in the entire post office can take the photo?
The other reviews had me going in here worried, fortunately I had a good experience. Recently moved to a new construction area, have been given multiple addresses that were wrong (finally have the correct one) and USPS had a package and mail for me that wasnt being delivered. Called in, spoke with a supervisor who was super helpful, verified the package as at the office. Went in, waited about 5 mins to speak with someone, who got me my package and all my mail and explained the issue their carriers were running into with my location.
I was tracking my package and it said on their website that its on vehicle out for delivery (9:46 AM), I even got a text message saying its out for delivery but the mail man didnt show up. I literally waited for 6+ hours in front of our office building but USPS was a no show, then 4:10 pm came and suddenly I got a text message saying that USPS Bountiful is now closed for business then my package tracking is back to Sorting Complete status. What a waste of time and I cancelled my appointments just because of this important package (Car Key).
Stood in line for 55 minutes to get a passport, to get told that “she won’t get to you today” and put the Passports Closed sign right in front of me... I got in line and hour and a half before close...
I have been attempting to call this post office to ask a question that would take under 30 seconds for the last 40 minutes. not only have I been waiting while it rings for seemingly forever until the phone just hangs up, i actually heard the phone be picked up then hung up. Terrible customer service. No one can even answer the phone
Boy I can relate to some of that issues that many of you are having. I live not too far from this particular post office, and and it is close enough that I can go get stamps from the machine in the middle of the night, there are certainly other things that I take issue with,as do many of you commenting on this. I had a package that I was supposed to receive yesterday, but of course, they want a signature. Why? (the package is a small part for a cell phone that I am going to repair). Nothing that I get from UPS ever requires a signature because they can leave at the door if no one answers when they knock. This where I get frustrated with this particular post office. First,I go to USPS and click on where it says re-delivery options, fill that out and submit. Then, just to be on the safe side,I mark on the re-delivery note where it says to leave it in my mailbox, signed my signature, etc. So what happens today? Got a sorry we missed you thing just like I did yesterday. I check the appropriate box to have it left at the door here at my apartment, and of course, again, they disregarded that. This is now the third time this has happened. For all the people who are having good experiences? Few and far between, and I would agree, the few times I have gone over to this location? They are quite slow(the Farmington location moves much quicker even when there are a lot of people there, they are much more efficient, and sometimes even with less people). Guess I will have to start having things sent to work now,at least that way I know it will arrive without any issues. The part itself costs only a few bucks, but, they wont even leave it at my door? Even though I checked the appropriate box? That is not acceptable. The Kaysville and Farmington branches are much better than this one,and I would encourage everyone who has had bad experiences here to go to one of those two locations, you should not have any issues at either place. I am real curious as to what other horror stories people have had with the Bountiful location. They could certainly do much better than they are currently doing. Two stars and no higher.
I have had lots of experiences with this post office and they have all been positive. I just finished talking on the phone with a clerk there who was very informative and helpful. The phone only rang once before she picked up. In the past Ive changed my address twice (with great success both times), mailed out packages and letters both domestically and internationally, and Ive purchased stamps of various kinds. Every time Ive been there the workers have been efficient and courteous. Im surprised by the negative reviews and wonder if perhaps the other reviewers are slightly unreasonable. Either that, or there has been drastic changes made at this post office. Yes, the line can be long during Christmas (etc), but they keep it moving quickly and the building is maintained well so its a pleasant place to be: very large and clean. The different booths are clearly marked and its easy to know youre in the right line if you just use your head like an adult.
Wouldn’t recommend using them... would definitely drive the extra mile and go to the centerville one! Staff is extremely rude, and the line is ALWAYS, ALWAYS big... no matter what time you go there... so I wonder what the issue is... but the line is ridiculous! Go there if you have time to kill!
The supervisor at this post office is so rude. I was getting my mail and then all a sudden it stopped. Now Im not getting anything! Not even one item of mail. How is that even possible? There is nothing wrong with my address or my forward so where is my mail? Mail is even being returned back to senders and there is nothing wrong with the address they have listed for me.Instead of trying to figure out where my mail is going the supervisor at this location was rude and talked to me as if I was stupid and said that my carrier was delivering my mail. Right, because Im just complaining for fun. If I had my mail then why would I be complaining? She wouldnt apologize and see what she could do to fix the problem at all. She just kept saying shes got such a great carrier. Obviously not since hes not getting my mail to me. I still dont have my mail and still dont know if it will ever be fixed. Probably could be simple if she at least wanted to look into it. Someone down there needs to get off their high horse and realize there is a huge issue going on. Because it looks like Im not the only one this is happening to.
Tried to send a package and they didn’t print the correct address on their shipping label and it was returned to sender. The box was returned broken with holes in it as well. It looks like it got ran over!!
1.5 hours left before they close and they sent half the passport line home because they wouldn’t have time. Pretty ridiculous after waiting for more than 35 minutes.
I have always had a pleasant experience with the employees at this location. They have always been able to assist me with things I needed and are polite.
Our mail is consistently delivered to the wrong address. The employees at the post office are not friendly, they are the bad postal worker stereo-type from movies and TV
I ordered a package and the Post Office said it was delivered however...no package. We were home all day and no package was delivered. I called the Post Office to try and get some kind of resolution and twice Alicia told me she would find out what happened and call me back. She never did and I had to call her back each time. Each time I called she had to dig around her desk to find my tracking number and my information. Alicia told me the mail carrier checked with my neighbors to see if they had delivered it to the wrong address but I spoke to my neighbors and no one ever contacted them. She told me that I had to file a claim and she didnt know anything past that. She even admitted to me it comes down to the Post Office saying it was delivered and me saying it wasnt and filing a claim would not resolve it.
Its no wonder the USPS is losing money. It took me 10 minutes to figure out how to even speak to a human. When I finally made it through the useless navigation system, my wait time was fourty minutes!!!If it took a man with three college degrees to navigate your idiotic phone tree, how do you expect a senior to do it?!?! Seriously. I thought nothing was longer than a CVS receipt. Turns out the wait time for customer service on the phone at the USPS said Hold my beer!
The employee who did my passport application was super awesome and polite.
I somehow win the lottery every time I go. It can be really busy but if you go at the right times there is hardly any wait. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable.
If this location has Alisha as a supervisor then apparently they dont care if customers are satisfied. She is a horrible person who probably like to get off by acting like she is superior. She was being so rude and wouldnt let me talk with a manager. She needs to get demoted because the power of being a supervisor got to her head. Youre a supervisor! Not a Manager! You make customers happy so they wont ask for a manager! If you cant do your job then you shouldnt be in the position you are in!
Called in regarding my mailbox and the location of it for my Home, JENNIFER answered and was super rude and quick to hang up on me. I called back because her reasons for me not being able to relocate my mailbox IMO didnt make sense so I asked her a couple of questions. I still dont understand what the reasoning was, seeing that the majority of my neighborhood has house mounted mailboxes... either way rules are rules, but JENNIFER was really rude, stand-offish and didnt come off as wanting to be helpful at all. Im glad I dont have to deal with this location regularly. POOR POOR customer service and OVERALL attitude. ZERO STARS.
I just put the last coat of urethane on a dresser I refinished out in my car port. Came in the house. The mail man came by 2 minutes later with a delivery and slid a nice big box across the top of it, knocked on my door and I answered as he was walking back to his truck parked in front of my house, talking on his cellphone the entire time. Sorry for swearing at you all the way to your truck you a** h***! He never even turned around. I tried to call the office to report the idiot but the office is closed...
My package was mistakenly forwarded to someone else’s address and the only way to recover the package is to file a fraud claim against the resident who inadvertently received my package. This action will include federal charges being brought against the resident who didn’t return the package. Seems a little extreme since the USPS made the mistake and they know where the package was delivered.Unfortunately, the Bountiful post office does not seem to ever answer their phone and so I personally visited the post office. The counter help didn’t speak English well, although she did promise of a return phone call from the manager, but surprise they never called. If this location is indicative of the overall state of the USPS, then I firmly believe this agency should be privatized. It’s a horrible waste of the taxpayer’s money. They lost $2.7 billion in 2017.
Great customer service. I love going to this Post Office
I have lived in many places all over this country and this is by far the absolute worst all around post office I have ever had to deal with. The absolute worst employees, they seem to be uneducated and where there not smart enough to do the job a simple customer task makes them rude where they don’t know how to do it. I have tried to call this place on just about every day of the week and the phone just rings where they won’t answer it because there not smart enough to answer the questions customers have that call. This place needs shut down.
Called repeatedly to try and set up an appointment for new passports, since they require an appointment. Phone was always busy!?!Lines can be moderately long depending on season and time of day. DO like the independent kiosk though.
This is the second time I have dropped a package off at this post office, and neither time was the tracking information recorded, leaving me unsure where the package is. I have never had this problem with the other post offices in the area. I dropped this latest package off eleven days ago, and it has only just finally shown on the tracking system as at a location in Nevada - it is supposed to go to PA. I will never use this post office again!!
Our business hours are plainly posted, ever since we got a new carrier we dont receive any of our mail or packages. Maybe once, twice a week she comes during the posted hours. The previous carrier was always at my doors within 15 minutes of opening EVERYDAY and if he was early here and there he would drive by on his way back to his office to make the delivery. It never failed and was like clockwork. Now this new person is delivering 1-2 hours before we open and its started to affect our customers and business in a negative way. She doesnt even stop by at the end of her route to make a delivery that SHE screwed up. How do these people get paid for doing a job they arent performing or arent performing very well anymore? Bring back my old carrier and give him a raise for doing an out standing job!!!!
The post master Andrea Gunnerson is very rood. She kicked me out of the building in front of everyone in the lobby for asking questions! You never know where the passport line is. They tell you one thing and then another and send you to the back of the line again. They would not listen to suggestions- like to put a sign up so people know where to get in line. Dropping off bulk mail is a nightmare. They make you go to the front and put it on a small 2 sq ft area or wait the entire line. I think Andrea Gunnerson is on a power trip and honestly I felt I was in a third world country under dictatorship, not America. Someone should really take a look at the way things are run at that post office. It must be the worst one I have ever been to, and not just the USA- worldwide. This post office is 2 minutes away from my home but now I go to the post office in the neighboring city in fear of reprisal. What a shame!
I have had numerous issues with them delivering my packages. I live in an apartment complex and mail is always getting delivered to the incorrect unit. I have had 2 packages this last week that I have had problems with. The first package was scheduled for delivery on January 2nd (it is now Jan 11th) however no one was home to claim the package. They left a slip on my door letting me know the package would be available for pick up at the post office tomorrow. I then went into the office the next day and they could not find my package the lady that was helping me was so quiet and acted like she did not care about anything I thought she couldnt speak English. I then came back two days later and the package was still lost. The second package was apparently delivered January 3rd it is now January 11th but this package was taken to the lost and found at my apartment complex. My apartment complex has large lockers assigned to the units there is absolutely no reason this should have happened.
The staff here is very helpful and the self serve kiosk is great and easy to use. Easy location to get in and out of.
Same pattern as everyone else. A package was to arrive today and supposedly nobody was available. No, at 9:30 AM there was 5 people eating breakfast. I guess its easier to fill out a piece of paper than get out of the car and knock on a door. Terrible service.
Lost my package for the second time and is doing everything to avoid answering where they delivered it
This Post Office services a large area and if you are smart and avoid busy times, you can be in and out quickly. I have worked with them on a couple of mail delivery problems and they were professional and resolved the problem for me. I think customers need to understand that like any other business, USPS has busy times and slow times. If you call between 11 and 1, probably a trip to voice mail.
This has to be one of the worst post-offices I have ever dealt with! they do not deliver your mail and nor do they do their jobs every package Ive shipped shows up to his destination late even overnight packages take for days when transferring through this post office Sandy I have to hand-deliver them because the mailman Never Comes Around
This location is huge, and that is a good thing! Service counter is over there, purchase cards and pickup priority shipping boxes over there, p.o. boxes back and around over there! So much room is great. We love love their 24hr lobby and self service machine with package dropoff. Useful for that after hours Ebay seller to purchase shipping, and ship small packages! Plus even during the day the majority of what Ive needed - stamps, boxes, shipping labels - can be performed here, and at any hour - it is wonderful.
This is the WORST POST OFFICE EVER. Use another one if you can! Drive farther if you need to! The customer service is PATHETIC! Besides constantly receiving everyones mail but my own and having packages of mine delivered to the wrong address, I hurried to get there after a 40 minute drive from work today to renew my passport and was turned away by the woman at the counter as she stated Im done for the day. I never get good service there, I dont know why I was expecting today to be different! Dont expect anything but FRUSTRATION if you decide to use this location. Prices go up and the service goes down!
If I could give 0 stars I would. Since I moved to the area, the post office constantly delivers the wrong mail in copious amounts, but when it comes to mail with my name and address on it, I almost never receive anything. They have lost or possibly stolen 3 packages from Urban Outfitters that cost a substantial amount of money, and they just barely lost my tax return in the mail but delivered some other guys to my address. Luckily I have a family member who lives nearby in a different city I can mail the new card to.Something needs to be done about this place its an absolute joke.
Change happens, and the culture of the Bountiful Post Office is transformed. I had quick service with complicated mailing. Brandi is professional, competent, and pleasant. She rocks.
Employee is very pleasant and efficient but it’s a Friday afternoon and there is one employee working with a line of about 20 people.
This post office sucks . They go two to three day without even coming to my house. And they dont show up when they do come tell 4pm
They have lost several of our packages with no explanation or solution other than to file a police report. Many times we have been home when we receive the confirmation that the package was delivered. When we called to raise the issue, they just said you get lots of packages, we know where you live and the driver remembers leaving it at your door. hmmm
I went in here yesterday to mail a package. I got there at 4:30 and left at and 5:05. They had one lady (Cynthia) working at the desk. There were about 8 of us in line waiting when someone walks in to talk to Cynthia. He cut in front of everyone and told her that he had been trying to call her. I guess he was a relative or friend or something. She whispered and talked with him for a couple of minutes before helping the next customer. Very unprofessional. When I finally made it to the desk, she told me that I needed to tape on the label. As I began taping my label on, she disappeared into the back and left me standing there for almost 5 minutes. When she finally came back she said, You could have just left the package. You didnt have to wait. Okay. I told her that I needed to pay for the box and that I needed a tracking number. At my response, she acted annoyed and put out. Sorry to inconvenience you, Cynthia.
STILL getting my mail delivered to the WRONG box after a year! How do you ever get help with this if the USPS in Bountiful cant accomplish their job and do it right! Beyond frustrating!
Never got my packages delivered and no one answered the local phone. USPS should let Amazon team to handle all packages delivery.
Stood in line for over an hour and a half to submit my passport application. Another day, left work early so both my wife and I could be at the post office to sign my daughters passport. We were in line by 4:15 p.m. The post office closes at 5:30 p.m.For no apparent reason, and without telling anyone in line, the supervisor instructed the workers to stop taking passport applications at 4:30 p.m. I went to the window to ask if there was a separate line for passports (because they dont have it marked -- another customer service failure), and was told that they were no longer taking applications that day. When I then asked what the hours were that they take passport applications, I was told 8:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. When I pointed out the inconsistency between these statements, they said, Im sorry, but thats the way it is.Another family was in line behind us to get their kids passport applications submitted. Both of us were turned away, more than an hour before the place closed, with all of three people in line to drop off packages.Service like this is why the USPS is failing.
Terrible employees! Called earlier today to make sure I could get my photo taken there. Waited two hours in the passport line and when it was finally my turn the guy at the counter tells me their camera is broken! I literally just called earlier today and was told it can be done. No sign, no notice, nothing, what a joke and waste of my day. Terrible communication!
