I have taken several devices over the last couple years to have broken screens replaced.No complaints with the quality of the work or the quality of the replacement parts. The issue is poor attitude of the staff and also the false pricing quotes provided online when booking an appointment to have a device fixed. The prices in store are always higher by $20 or more. When mentioning this to the store staff and asking why, theres no clear explanation or reason given. They will also not match the price that is provided online, even if you show them proof of what the quote was online for a specific device/part to be fixed by them. The excuse provided once was that it differs by location, however the quote is given when booking an appointment for a specific location...so not really a convincing or valid excuse or reason.. Some wouldnt even try to explain and just kept repeating that this is the price in store and nothing they can or will do about it. Just acted like it was not their problem and none of their business, they couldnt care less about it and its really none of their concern. Store employees provided nothing to try to explain the big price difference or at least apologize and let the customer know that unfortunately they cant adjust the price. I mean anything would have been great, instead of acting rude and cold to the customer who has a valid question. The last time I had a broken device, even though I have used these guys several times previously, I ended up going elsewhere mainly due to this reason and the poor customer service skills and uncaring attitude of store staff.
My phone was replaced under warranty. Several things left me on a sour note. First was failed diagnosis. The store had to order parts which did not fix my device. I know not every repair is possible, but it almost felt like a guess / check approach. Second was poor communication. The store had market my device as ready for pickup on their website, however it was not repaired when I went in to pick it up. I did not have a phone during this time while my repair was being completed and asked to receive email communication. I only received one email update during the 2 weeks it took to replace me phone. Third was failure to back up my data correctly. Since my device was being replaced under warranty, the malfunctioning device had to get sent back. Apparently the device was backed up to google before being sent off, but I am now without 3 months worth of data. I was not notified before the device was sent back so I could validate the data had been correctly backed up. Maybe Im a bit old school, but a copy of the data sent via email would have been ideal. I did not request this, but it almost seems like it would be standard procedure for a repair shop to at least have it on hand should something go awry.Look, I get it. You guys did try and were generally very nice. It just took so long, and I was kept in the dark for most of the process. I had to call in every few days with a temporary number just to check on the status. I brought my phone here in hopes of having a quick fix. Even after I adjusted my expectations to allow for some time, the poor communication has convinced me not to return here. I hope this does not come across as a scathing review, I just want to explain what went wrong during my experience so you may better serve your future customers.
I had a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra that was giving me issues. It was not in water but a recent trip to the humidity of Hawaii caused the charging port to say it was wet. The only way to charge the phone was with the induction charger.I was referred to uBreakiFix by my phone insurance provider.I had to reach out to a couple locations but the Bountiful location was able to get me in immediately.I had to leave the phone there for a few hours but it was worth it.They had the parts available but it needed to charge and they performed a water damage test.When I went to pick up the phone, I was surprised to find out that it was covered under the warranty for the phone and there was no charge!
They were able to fix my samsung s21 ultra after the screen went black but the phone was still on. The guy in the front was very helpful! I did know there could be a chance of all my info being gone, but they were able to fix it and all my info was still there. Im not sure why people are complaining about how long it takes. The time is an estimate and they obviously have other electronics to fix. I did have to call after it being 5 hours of waiting for them to tell me it was ready, but other than that the service was great!
We went in to the store having no clue what we we’re doing and they helped us fill out the claim form and deal with an issue we wound to have known what to do. I would definitely recommend this store because of their customer service and expertise.

My phone screen just up and stopped working over night and these guys delivered. I contacted Samsung and they sent me to these guys and it was amazing. Not only were they done faster than I thought they would be, but the staff was super friendly and took amazing care of my phone. And thanks to Samsung I didnt have to pay a cent. This store is an absolute joke. Waiting two weeks with a scheduled appointment. The day before my appointment after two weeks suddenly the managers have COVID and techs have been in car accidents. Also have texts from Jordon the tech manager of different stories. Would not recommend this place at all.
We had signed up for the asurion plan, $25 a month for my autistic son’s iPad he used for communication. The first time it broke, the repair was quick, took only a few hours. The second time then took over a month for asurion to send their claim through, and an additional two months for this company to do the repairs. We have cancelled our asurion and will not be bringing our devices back to this company.
As a Samsung authorized location, they knew what my phone was doing right away and had it fixed without need for an internal repair.They know their stuff.
I had my iPhone screen repaired by ubreakifix and within a month it was very glitchy and eventually froze completely. I tried to go back but their office was temporary closed, couldn’t reach anyone. When they finally reopened I took the phone in and they refused to stand behind their repair. What I nightmare!!! I would NOT recommend this place…save your money, your sanity and time! So many better options available!
Everyone there was super nice and they were cheaper than anywhere else in the area. They were also able to get me in that day and had my broken screen on my Samsung s20+ fixed that day. Every where else I was going to have to wait 2-3 weeks to get it fixed
Scheduled a claim out in Kearns to have my screen fixed, drove all the way out to this location because it was the only one available and upon arriving at the store there was a note saying they were closed until June 11th and to visit the Ogden location, only to be turned away because my claim wasnt scheduled for that location. In my opinion it was very unprofessional and the stores need to have better communication between one another to avoid situations such as this. I will not be returning to uBreakiFix!

Cracked the screen on my iPad. Maybe could have repaired it myself, but that requires specialized tools and a lot of patience. Probably wouldnt have fixed it for quite a while. These guys scheduled my repair online for the same day and had it turned around and under 2 hours using drop-off service. For a very fair price. Highly recommend.

If I could rate this store 0 stars I would! We were told by Samsung to mail in our phone for a repair to this store. We printed the label on Tuesday and we got a call from an employee there telling us not to ship it until Friday because the store would be open again on Saturday. It is now Monday and UPS tried to deliver the package but wasnt able to because the store was closed. We called UPS and asked them to send the package back to us but they said they couldnt because it was under the UBreakIfix account. UPS said if they werent able to deliver the package in the next two days then the package would be thrown away. So now we have no phone and no one is at the store to help. Now no one will answer or help us on the company support line. This is an expensive phone and we are extremely angry that nothing is being done to even attempt to fix the problem. Someone on some end is flat out lying to us and we have no idea where our package is and we arent even able to pick it up. This store is a joke and should not be used by anyone. I would be willing to change my review if someone were to remedy the situation. However, until that point, we will not be referring people to the store. UBreakIFix, have some integrity and do the right thing!

Ive had them repair a couple items for me and I couldnt be more pleased. I typically buy used phones and while theyre cheaper they often dont last as long. Im glad places like this exist so that I can get simple repairs done without having to buy a new phone.
This first started out as what I thought was going to be a bad experience since the person who took my call promised me something that they normally would not have been able to do that day. Fortunately, Jacob stepped up, and fulfilled the promise given since I had driven over an hour to get there. Jacob went above and beyond, and did a great job on my phone. I came in for a battery replacement on my LG V30, (kind of an unusual phone). They had to order the part but worked with my schedule to get it installed.The battery installation went well and the phone was reassembled perfectly.Except, the fingerprint reader no longer worked.They said that they would order the part and do a warrantee repair, which happened today. Unfortunately they could not get it repaired and working.To their credit they did admit fault, and refunded my initial repair.They were polite and very communicative. Even with the damage to my phone I would return to them for future service.In thinking about the overall repair, would I trade my fingerprint reader for massively improved battery life, yes I would. The reason I went to them is that I didnt trust my ability to do it on my own. These are incredibly complicated devices that arent meant to be repaired. We are lucky to have a facility like this one willing to try.

ATT sent me to them to repair a cracked screen. It was done within 2 hours and looks like a brand new phone...and works perfectly. Insurance, warranty or not this is where I’d bring any phone or tablet I have for repair. Hard to find but a good place.

Asphalt won when my phone fell out of my pocket climbing into my vehicle. As a working mom, I need my phone. These guys got me in and out in just a few hours with a new screen. Amazon couldnt get me a new screen for 4 days. Paid a little more than what was listed on Amazon but to have a phone back to working in just a few hours was worth every penny. I would definitely return, but hope I dont have too!! Repair was on a Pixel 3a

We called in to get a quote on a screen replacement and the person we talked to was great. He gave us a quote and set up an appointment. He told us to come in that the time and that it would take two hours to replace. We had to reschedule for five days later and called in again in advance, the second person we talked to was just as helpful and moved the appartment for us. On the day of we called in to confirm that they had the part still just to be safe and to see if the appointments were flexible at all. The person we talked to this time was extremely rude and stated that he cant guarantee that the phone could be fixed today and stated it would take a minimum of four hours. The longer time isnt an issue though we would have set aside time sooner had we been told that from the start. The issue was that we set up an appointment for a reason and were told that the phone would be fixed at the time of the appointment. He stated that appointments dont matter and that it is first come first serve. I made sure I heard him right that an appointment that called a head 5 days ago and had a part ordered in for would not be prioritized at the time we had set up and someone walking in with no notice before would take priority and he said that is the case and that no one would have told us otherwise. The whole experience left a bad taste In my mouth, we would have gone somewhere else in the first place had they explained the process better orginally. We still probably would have come in for the appointment to see if they had the time had the the person we talked to not been horribly rude to us. I dont appreciate bening told different things by different people and I dont appreciate being degraded then having him strongly imply that I was lying about what I was told on the phone by an employee simply because I believed what I was told a few days earlier by another employee. I would never recommend this place even if the work is good the service element was abysmal and we were straight up treated horribly.
Having a broken phone is never fun, but these guys went above and beyond to make getting it fixed as painless as possible. They were great at communicating, keeping me updated through their online progress indicator, and relentless in diagnosing and fixing my device. Theyre my new go to for fixing all of my devices, and Ive already recommended them to family and friends.
I was sent here by Google fi because my phone couldnt read my battery meter anymore and Im past warranty. Ubreak was super helpful and friendly and got my phone fixed in hours and accessed some extended warranty for me so it cost me nothing. I talked to 3 of the shops to find one with my battery since this is apparently a common problem happening. Way nicer people than most places like this Ive dealt with in the past. Pretty awesome.
If you need your phone fixed fast, efficiently and at a good price, UBreakiFix is the way to go. I was having issues with my iPhone, which wouldn’t charge, so I brought it in to have it looked at/fixed. Only took about two and a half hours for the fix and at a decent price as well. I live about 30 minutes out and I can confidently say that it was 100% worth the drive, my phone works great now and I didn’t have to worry about overpaying or having to wait several days for my phone to get fixed (if I had gone to a different phone repair place). On another note the online chat support was very helpful and informative as well.

Was told one week to fix my phone. Then I called back and Tim was rude about it and say to call later in the day. When I called back later he hung up instead of answering. Still waiting on them to fix my phone. Definitely should have gone with another company. Avoid this place at all costs.

Negative stars. They have had my Samsung Galaxy 20 phone for nearly two weeks. It started off with a repair of 4-5 hours, then another day, another 2-3 hours, over a weekend, cant fix it on a Saturday, another 2-3 hours, etc... They never followed up and I constantly had to reach out for an update that usually was oh, we were about to call you.... I was told multiple times it was ready for pick up, they need a back-up phone to transfer information to (which was not the case), etc. In the last 2 weeks I have driven the equivalent of over 3 hours back and forth to uBreakiFix.In the end, my phone was a shell of what it was when I started. Somehow my password changed during the repair process (???) and they had to HARD RESET my phone, which took 4 days. From excuse to excuse, I finally was tired of trying to figure out why multiple problems kept arising. I called Samsung directly and found out they would cover the entire phone. When I called uBreakiFix so I could have it back to its original condition (it was not- it was hard reset and now just a shell of a phone), it was magically ready for pick up (but of course they did not reach out to me to let me know). I cant believe I wasted so much time and energy.

They kept me updated with my battery replacement and the back glass that my S9+ needed. I was comfortable with them fixing my phone due to all the other 5 star reviews on Google! I was relieved that they could get my phone done in less than a day since its my work phone as well as my personal phone so my whole life was in there! Definitely taking any other phones I have back here for repairs!
Im not one that usually writes reviews but I dropped my Note 9 and it cracked my screen pretty bad, putting a good gouge in the frame. I am usually a DIY guy and I scoured the internet to try and find a way to repair or replace the screen or just replace the glass myself but I could tell I just didnt have the right equipment to do it well. I decided to do it right and go through the Samsung channels and that led me to uBreakiFix. The price for the repair was hard to swallow but it feels like I have new phone and I couldnt be more pleased. They did such an amazing job using Samsung OEM parts (frame and screen). I live in Logan and was passing through Bountiful for a Dr. appointment. I created an appointment to drop the phone off that morning and it took them 2.5 hrs to complete from start to finish so I was able to pick it up on my way home.Thank you for the quick and quality service! Ive never paid so much for a repair but I can honestly say, it was worth every penny!

Unfortunately a recently got a new computer and were not able to download the software needed to 6 my phone today but they said they would call me back once it was up and running so that I could bring it back down.
Took my Samsung galaxy note20 ultra 5G in to get the screen and camera fixed. I was told it would take 3 hours which it took 7 hrs and they partially fixed my phone. Screen was fine but the tech did not pay attention to the notes, therefore didnt fix the camera. I have spent 3 to 4 Saturdays in a row to try and get my phone fixed. Not as convenient as I was led to believe. Last time they scratched my phones screen.I would consult with your insurances before going to these guys.
I filed a claim through asurion. They didn’t receive it at first, but Tim (an employee there) called me as soon as he got it. Came in and they had my phone finished in about 30 mins. It was super fast and the screen looks really good!
[Update 2]The screen ghost tapping has calmed down and happens less now. I went into a zoom meeting and discovered my webcam does not work, I kind of expected it since the webcam is no longer connected to the shell. I dont know if a wire was cut or what, Ive gone into settings but Im thinking its more of a physical problem. I have used the touchscreen successfully but not like it used to be.[Update 1]Ever since the second fix my touchscreen is activated like crazy just by typing, or if my computer moves at all. I press the backspace and a random corner is activated, making it impossible to type on my laptop now. If I could post a video it would show dozens of dots activated on the touchscreen when the screen is moved even slightly. Now just sitting my screen will suddenly activate and press any buttons. Making the laptop unusable unless I turn off touch screen, which it was usable before without touchscreen even with the shattered screen.[Original Review]Took my laptop here to get my shattered screen fixed, they wanted to keep it for several weeks to have it on hand and wanted me to give them my charger too. I didnt let them keep my laptop. Once the parts were in (we had to call them, they didnt call us until right after we called them) we dropped my laptop off. They ended up keeping it several weeks anyways. Even after telling us it would only take a few hours to fix. So several weeks drag by with us calling to see if they got to it yet, they were too busy. We finally got the computer back with a new shiny screen! Looks like the laptop was rebooted. I checked the touch capabilities and they worked perfectly. Pulled the screen back to see it better and noticed the new screen was unglued right where the Webcam is. Took it back and lost my laptop again for a few days. Got it back again! Only to see glue between the glass and the screen, setting the LCD back a little and making it look wonky. Lo and behold! The Webcam area of the screen is still not glued down. Yet my LCD has glue all along the top of it. They said they melted it and pressed it into place. So it could be gunk other than glue. Dont know if I should bring it back again and get my screen more ruined or just give up. Im worried they wont fix their fix. Kind of want my time and money back.

I have taken my kids switch in 3 times now to have the screen fixed. The first time they broke another part on it. The second time the part they broke and fixed was defective. And now the third time the new part is in they’ve had the switch for a week and “don’t know when they will be able to get to it”. And to the owner the employee I’ve been dealing with is Christian. I’m not one to write bad reviews but they’ve earned this one. The time and money spent I should have just bought a new switch. Don’t waste your time or money on this poop show business!!
I was very disappointed with their capacity. I showed up with over an hour before closing after driving 25 minutes yo get my screen replaced. I was turned away. What a joke. I then called the Sandy location and was told they didnt have the ability to help me either. Such poor customer service.Update: I went the next day after calling to verify capacity and availability of item I was having replaced (Note 9 Screen) and was told my phone should be done in 2 hours or so. I waited for almost 4 hours! I wasnt even called! I had to go in to check status too!I would not choose to use their service again.
I cracked my screen on a camping trip and needed it fixed asap when we got home. The team at uBreakiFix was awesome. I Took my phone in first thing Saturday morning and got it back fixed by 2. Jacob and Dillon were easy to work with and I would highly recommend taking your device to these guys if you need it working like new again! Hope I never need to have something fixed, but if I do I know where I am going.

After spending an entire day being given wrong information by Sprint/T-Mobile and Asurion to fix a known issue on my Pixel 4 XL, Abraham was able to quickly enroll me in the correct extended warranty program for a $0 fix! I was in and out in ten minutes!
My experience was less than thrilling. The repair was surprisingly expensive, but I cant entirely credit them for the cost of Samsung parts. My issue was with the agent who helped me, who provided me with a receipt showing the repair of my phone would take 7.5 hrs and that I should return at 7:48 pm to pick up my phone. I didnt know at the time, but they were only open until 5pm and my phone was ready at 4pm. He also tried to sell me a screen protector that doesnt work with my phone, and when I pointed it out he said I could still buy it and get the $200 repair warranty. When I returned the next day to pick up my phone, I had to wait 15 min for someone to come out from the back of the store and acknowledge me. Would not recommend.
I took my Surface 4 Pro to get the screen repaired because the glue was failing and it was peeling off. The manager, Jeremy, was really professional and very helpful. He called me every few hours with updates, then when they found the problem was a swelling battery theyd need to replace he gave me almost daily updates until they broke it. After they changed the battery it would no longer run on battery power. They tried switching back to the old battery and same problem. So, they broke my computer trying to fix it. It happens sometimes, but this time was different. They owned the problem and Jeremy said he would source a replacement and install my old drive in it, so I dont lose any of my data. The only charges would be for the battery replacement. It did take a while to get through the whole process, but Jeremy handled it masterfully and I really appreciate his constant updates. Id definitely be their customer again. Everyone makes mistakes, but not everyone owns up to them after they are made.

I took my phone in because it was crashing and wouldnt charge anymore. I have had the phone for a few months and it was still under factory warranty through Google. I was told it would be a couple of days and that was ok since I had just received the newest Google phone I had ordered (new phone but none of my content from the broken phone). I received a call from them about 30 minutes later asking for my PIN to unlock my phone. I thought that was weird but the guy said he needed it to back up all my content and data before they replaced the battery. He also said the warranty didnt cover the broken screen so I had to get it replaced if I wanted them to do the rest of the repairs. They said Google wouldnt cover it unless I got the screen fixed and paid that out of pocket. Not sure if that is true or not but I gave him my PIN and agreed to pay $130 for the screen repair. When I picked up my phone, it had been factory reset and none of my content was on there (contacts, media content, pictures, etc.) ALL OF IT WAS GONE. I asked them why they hadnt backed it up and put it on my device like they said they would and the guy at the counter just said that he didnt do the work on it so he didnt know. The other guy helping the next customer looked over and said they dont do that but my content should be in the cloud when I sign in to my Google account. That is true for some things like some pictures that had been backed up automatically, but none of my media, contacts, apps, etc. were there. I can spend the next couple of weeks downloading my apps as I need them for work and whatnot, but I had almost a thousand songs and videos that are gone forever. I also have to send out a message through social media to try and get my contacts back from people that I need to get in contact with. I cant do that for everyone though, especially business contacts. How unprofessional is that going to make me look. My next move is contacting Google and explaining what happened to see if there is any way they can help me recover all my information. So right now I paid $131.09 to have all my information erased and a screen repaired. Definitely was not worth it at all.
Dylan is amazing! He came out to my house to replace my screen on my iPhone 11pro max. He was patient when I asked him every phone question I could think of and let me nerd out during the repair. He was thorough and personable throughout the whole experience and I am blown away at how easy the whole process was. They were prompt in getting back to me and letting me know which part of the repairs were necessary or not and it was a very fair price considering how much more expensive it is if you take an iPhone to the Apple store for example.They skipped a lot of the red tape as well, especially since I was able to mail it in from my rural area, but it became a little weird because I had to give them my password over the phone so that they could open the phone and make sure it’s working OK. That’s a bit awkward. And giving my payment information of the phone felt a little awkward too.But then... the screen broke again within a month without any cause. It was still under their 90 day warranty so they had me mail it in to fix it again. This took a couple weeks and didn’t happen till I called them because apparently the part arrived but they didn’t know due to a database issue, so it was just sitting there on their counter for days.When they sent the phone back, they forgot to send the case.i called them about this several times, several days apart (they sometimes answer and sometimes don’t). They answered three times. The first time I was on hold 5 minutes while they looked for it then I hung up. The second time they found the case and said they would send it that day. A week later when I had not received it, they couldn’t find it so assumed it was in the mail. Still haven’t received it so I bought a new case. It was a cheap case so no major loss, but it was really weird that I had to call them several times and they never seemed that interested in follow up unless I was on the phone with them.
Dropped my phone and totally cracked the display. The staff were able to fix it the same day and it works perfectly again.
I have an iPhone 11 Max Plus that got ran over by a truck, literally, and everything worked; EXCEPT the screen was horribly cracked. It did still work though. I called my insurance carrier, Assurion, & they reported I could have the phone checked out & if it was just the screen I could get the screen replaced for a nominal fee. They reported uBreakiFix was approved to test & repair the phone. I took it to them & within an hour or so it had been tested & the screen replaced. It looked brand new again. I’ve had no problems with this phone since. Love these guys.
These guys have great customer service. Went out of their way to repair my device when other places refused to try.. Kept me informed as to status. All reps have great phone skills—polite, friendly, and professional.

They did a good job on the new display they put in. I had an issue with the home button on the phone after their initial work had been done, and they took care of it for me. They were also fast and responsive.

My whole screen broke to the point my screen was unreadable. UbreakiFix didnt have the screen needed in stock but they expedited it and my phone was fixed by the next day, within 24 hours. Their front sales girl was super nice, easy to work with and very knowledgeable.
First time using them and theyre fantastic. Customer service was great and the phone was fixed in the amount of time they estimated. Went to the Harrisville store first but they didnt have the parts so they sent me to the Bountiful store. The manager at Harrisville was really nice and friendly and Jacob at Bountiful was just as awesome. The repair was also quality work.

False advertising. Website quoted $279 to fix Galaxy Note10+ cracked screen. Went in, they said it was over $400. Hard pass. Deceptive. All Galaxy screen repairs are the same, no matter what -- for any Samsung Galaxy screen replacement you must replace the front and back glass and the LCD panel. Samsung does not allow authorized service centers to do it any other way, so the excuse that it was just an estimate is total BS. Every cracked Samsung screen repair is exactly the same. Theres no estimating because you always have to replace both glass sides and the LCD. He claimed it was $300 for the front and $100 for the back. Again, a lot of nonsense. Samsung does not allow authorized service centers to replace those components individually. I will be informing Samsung that this locations accreditation should be revoked.

Just had a great experience with the Bountiful location. Had my screen replaced at the Indianapolis location over the summer, and a couple months later my screen developed a strange problem as if from an impact, but nothing had happened to it. We brought it in to Bountiful and had to have the manager look at it because the employee wasnt sure if he could include it in the warranty. The manager was very kind in taking the time to open up the phone and discovered that a little shard of glass had punctured the screen for the inside, and was able to replace the screen under the warranty. I am very grateful to the manager for being understanding and taking the time to look into the problem so we could get it fixed!!

Seriously the best staff. Ive taken devices to other places before, but I never had a repair as good as the one I received here. Tanner even stayed (nearly two hours!!!) after hours to repair my pixel 4 which was greatly appreciated! Huge props to Tanner and everyone here.
