Literally the worst company I have ever dealt with in my entire life! I dont like leaving negative reviews, and try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but trying to get any help from this company is an absolute joke. If I didnt like my doctor so much, I would switch all because they use this atrocious billing company. They are terrible. Avoid them if you can. My issue has been ongoing for months and is still not resolved. Based off their track record, it probably never will be resolved. No one follows through with what they tell you they are going to do and the representatives are rude and condescending. This company is awful. Stay away from them and avoid them at all cost. I would give them 0 stars if I could.
Emily was very helpful in reviewing my accounts by date of service and explaining the patient responsibility amount. She answered all my questions and helped to get a statement generated so I can have access to make payment to accounts online. Give them a call if you have any questions regarding your accounts billed through ConsulMED. Very helpful!!

The agent I spoke with was very nice and went through her system to be sure I had only one bill as someone who has had surprises in the past with medical bills I was very grateful for that service.
I worked for Consulmed for 13 years.As employers, they are extremely flexible and understanding. They are perfect for college students. They are a great place to start out in the medical industry. Most places want some years of experience, and Consulmed is the perfect place to get that experience.As for a medical billing and consulting company, they are wonderful. I never saw a doctors office struggle when following the advice from the owners. But when the offices thought they knew more and didnt follow their advice - those struggled. However, Consulmed worked hard to follow the clients wishes.
This was a great experience both times I called. The person who helped me was knowledgeable and very helpful. I am very satisfied with there customer service.

Negligent, unresponsive, untrained. I have called 10 times in the last month over a mistake they made, spoken to multiple employees and left multiple messages. They often do not answer the phone although their hours state they should still be available. You have to keep calling day after day because they will never return your call, regardless of which voicemail box you leave it on. I was reassured several times I would hear back in a few days and no one followed up. Every time I call I have to remind them of the issue because they do not note it in their system. Everyone I have dealt with seems untrained, incompetent, unconcerned, or all of the above. Avoid them if you can!

I would give zero stars if that option was available. We’ve had 2 bills to my husband that were incorrect—billed to the wrong Paul Smith. While the rep was polite on the phone, I feel it’s inexcusable to bill based on name without using 2nd identifier ( date of birth) not once, but TWICE. This is basic “101” billing and providing any healthcare service. Sorry our podiatrist uses this billing service as we will be looking for a new provider with a competent billing service.

I hope and pray I never need any more radiology services that will be billed thru consulmed. This company has been TERRIBLE to work with. I am double covered with two private insurances. It has taken nearly ONE YEAR to clear up my bill. They constantly billed it to the wrong insurance. Causing duplicate claims over and over. The excessive duplicate claims just bogged down the system even more. And therefore Consulmed was telling me I was responsible for the amount due. Which I WAS NOT! I am glad that I deal with insurance companies on a daily basis with my employer and was able to investigate my own bill. Which can ONLY be done online because the printed statements they send you do not have a detailed statement of services. I feel like this company would be a huge disservice to the elderly or other people who are unable to access their account online and investigate each individual claim. I called MULTIPLE times and received the wrong information. The account representatives were not helpful in any way. The majority of the time they tried to hurry me in to paying the amount that I wasnt responsible for or try to get me off the phone by saying they would resend the claim (which they did OVER AND OVER again to the wrong company). Every time I have radiology services done I dread dealing with Consulmed.
This company is borderline fraudulent or criminal in the way they handle money that does not belong to them. A real disservice to the medical professionals they handle accounting for. They have agreed for 4 months that I have overpaid yet they still have not refunded the over payment.
