I see Julie for all my waxing needs. Shes fast, efficient, and is really down to earth. I love how she uses essential oils on my sensitive skin after my waxing services. It just adds that extra special touch! Also the receptionist, I didnt catch her name, is super sweet and is very helpful when it comes to scheduling and knowledgeable about the skin products they sell.

Julie is very personable and professional. She does great work, is quick and efficient. Ive tried other waxing salons in town and this is by far my favorite.

I got a brazilian wax because I couldn’t get into my normal waxing location. I trusted the reviews, but boy was I WRONG. The waxer did not make me feel comfortable, the wax was way too hot, and the results were painful and subpar. The waxer also used soft wax for the whole thing. I work in the esthetician world so I know that using soft wax for the entirety of a brazilian wax is not okay, as it can cause ripping and excess irritation for such a sensitive area. Also, the fact that they only accept cash or venmo for payment makes this business feel very unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Brazil on the Hill is the best! Julie is amazing in her waxing services. Fast and basically no irritation of the skin. With other esthetician’s my skin used to be red and bumpy for a few days, but not here. Only a few hours later it’s all gone. I can highly recommended Julie:-)

I have also enjoyed facials and various other treatments. The atmosphere is lovely shabby chic with touches from India- warm and welcoming, very clean but not sterile. Leaving the street level behind and ascending the stairs to Brazil on the Hill, you already know you are in for a treat when the delicious aromatherapy smells hit your nose. The warm and welcoming studio is beautiful with wooden floors and lovely decor. The receptionist welcomes you and you help yourself to water or tea.Facials with Julie are amazing! They are at the same time relaxing and rejuvenating but also great because she gets down to business with the much needed cleansing and extractions. The products are so natural you can eat them but they really work.You are in great hands with anyone at Brazil on the Hill for facials or waxing. Also, parking is easy on the Hill - I usually can find a metered spot within the block or if you care to walk a few blocks, you can park for free.Highly recommend!

Im in love with this locally owned and operated business and its new location. Ive been using the services for over 12 years and have never been disappointed and found every time to be superb. Whenever I am in town I go to Brazil on the hill. I enjoy the friendly staff, the cute shop, and the quality of the services. I usually get an underarm wax, and eyelash tint. Julie does a good job at making me feel comfortable, and the room is clean and sanitary. There are many products for my skin. She has recommended products that I have been using for more than 10 years. I use the the Miracle exfoliant, the honey milk cleanser, and the anti -aging skin reawaken cream. I am 50 years old and my skin looks like 30!! These products are responsible for such nice looking skin at my age. The shop is great. If you ever get a chance I recommend that you visit Brazil on the Hill.

Great location and facility. I tried a couple different waxing places before coming here a few months ago and this facility and estheticians are by far the best! Happy to come in every month for a great and relatively pain free wax.

Ive been here three times for a brazilian, and each time was great. Julie makes the whole process comfortable and super quick, and shes so experienced that she gets all the hairs and with very little pain. I recommend trying the numbing ointment theyll give you for $3 before the wax. I find the prices very reasonable, too -- you could get waxes that cost at least this much with a less experienced practitioner, and the results wont be nearly as good. This is by far my favorite waxing salon, and Ive been to many.Only negative: theres a steep staircase at the entrance, and as far as I know theres no handicap-accessible entrance, so this place probably wont work if you have difficulty with stairs.

Id never go anywhere else for my waxing or skincare needs. The women are so educated and helpful! The quaint little shop provides the perfect atmosphere to decompress and I always leave feeling beautiful!

Don’t do the same mistake as I did! I was sold by the reviews here and made an appointment. Scheduling can be done online and pretty easy. The waxer was friendly and fun to talk to. However, I have never seen a waxing job this sad. There were multiple big patches of hair left (I have been to many waxing places and they rarely ever been that careless and usually missed spots are very minimal, so I did not check the result before I leave). The waxing process also hurt most compared to all the places I have been to, although still tolerable. That being said, I would never spend another dollar here again.

Ive been coming to Brazil on the Hill regularly for several months now. All I have to say is, I wish I could bring Julie and Katie with me when I move to Texas...As for those who left bad reviews about the waxing, there are many factors that contribute to the outcome of your post-wax skin and hair. First off, you should make sure that youre not shaving at all, between wax appointments. And secondly, post-wax care is on you. If you do not properly conduct after-care, you will definitely get ingrown hairs, at the least.

DO NOT GO HERE. most painful wax Ive ever had, and whoever was waxing me was super bitchy?! -Go to ten20, a completely different experience, theyre faster, its a nicer place, and waaaay less painful.

The location they moved to is not nice looking, with loud creaking floors and a door that is constantly slamming! It was impossible to relax while the door was slamming so hard literally every 5 minutes. The woman who waxed my eyebrows wasnt nice at all. Everything was ok during my service but at the end when I get up she literally says to me so you have a lot of acne and blackheads and we offer facials that I think could you could benefit from I responded saying that Ive gone to a dermatologist before and am trying my own things and she interrupts me and says (in a very smug voice) Ive had tons of girls come to me and cleared up their skin..uhh.. not how you make a sale, lady. Ive struggled with a little acne for years and years, but its nothing crazy- still, its a sensitive subject when someone brings it up out of the blue like she did.. Its obvious that this woman preys on college girls insecurities in order to make more money. And she said it in such a rude way. Horrible attitude. Huge buzz kill and Ive never gone back. Bad vibes.

Horrible. I got a Brazilian wax and left being prickly. The hairs werent pulled out all the way. I also have a rash and a lot of ingrown hairs. I have never had this problem with waxing in the past. Also parts of my skin were ripped raw leaving me extremely sore.

I love walking into Brazil on the Hill. The atmosphere is my style, with lots of locally made jewelry and skin care products. They also carry lingerie. What better than a brazilian and lingerie? There are now 4 great estheticians, who always do a wonderful job. I have gotten waxed by all of them. My next service will be to try a custom organic facial! Definitely recommend Brazil on the Hill for any service! And if you book another appointment at the end of your visit, you recieve an additional 10% off that visit!
