Worst customer service ever! I came in with a broken phone, and they wouldn’t even sell me a new one. They wanted me to wait 4 days and come back when they have appointments available. They asked me to make an appointment. When I told them my phone is broken so how could I, they said to call a friend 😂. They were rude and zero help. Hard to believe you need to beg a store manager to let you spend $1k

Abysmal experience. After waiting for nearly two hours to simply exchange a watch face that my husband gifted to me for a different color, I left empty handed. The manager stated that his hands were tied; he could not allow me to exchange the watch face for a different color and keep the band my husband selected for me. The only thing they could do was return the band and face and have me repurchase the same band with the different color face online. He said they were now “out of stock” of the very band that I was holding in my hands; he couldn’t even allow me to leave with the one I came with. He also told me that upon returning the band I had and wanted to keep, he would no longer be able to sell it. He said he could not do anything to offer some measure of customer service, not even offering expedited shipping for the replacement. My husband bought the watch and band the day before, and the store dropped them off at our home. After all that waiting time, I had to return both the band and face, and now I will have to wait for 2+ weeks to receive the replacement by mail. If the manager was truly so hamstrung that he could not do anything to improve the situation, then Apple is doing a disservice to its customers and employees by using a software and inventory platform that makes simple solutions (and decent customer service) impossible. Now I understand why everyone hates going to this Apple store.

It’s on me for buying a $50 phone case in the first place, but when it it started to tear and delaminate after 2 months, I thought the least apple would do is replace the case. Nope. Need to buy a new one. The waiting around and scheduling policy at this store was also frustrating and inefficient. My business has spent over $10k with apple this year. Experiences like this will have me jumping ship very soon.

I had the screen of my iPhone 11 Pro replaced at this store about 7 months ago as a heavy object dropped on it and cracked it. I paid $279 plus tax for the display replacement. A few days ago, the phone was submerged in a few inches of water for a couple minutes, and now it wont turn on. Its completely ruined, and the store will not stand by their work. Bear in mind that this phone is IP68 water resistant, so it shouldve handled this submersion with ease. The store did not properly seal the phone when they replaced the screen and now its ruined. I specifically went to an Apple Store to fix the screen so something like this wouldnt happen in the future. I would avoid getting service done at this store at all costs.

Had to schedule an appointment way out here because they had no appointments available in Denver mind you I have apple care and a broken phone it’s not like I can just wait for appointments but I scheduled one out here anyways why a joke I was stuck behind an Accident on I-36 and was 15 minutes late so they refused to replace my phone, not sure why I pay for apple care or even have an iPhone at this point. What on earth!? I stopped in to purchase a new Mac Air and a iPad keyboard… there are only a few customers in the store but I have to wait an hour to make my purchase!! This makes no sense … plus they are requiring masks when no one else is making such a demand… I’ve had COVID and I’m vaccinated so why must I wear a mask??…should the unvaccinated wish to wear a mask, they certainly can do so but I don’t see the point of requiring everyone to do so… either way, it’s an incredibly poor customer service experience from a company whose products I love!

Genius Bar was a joke here. I had to schedule 4 appointments to get seen after being just 10mins late. Apple support fixed all my problems over they’re app. & set me straight while apologizing for misleading me and making me think this location would have my problem fixed. My MacBook 💻 is now perfect after AppleSupport fixed it over logging into my device💯 but I can’t say this location did anything for me.

I had a very bad experience- Was given completely wrong information by Genius Bar associate. I was told I could get apple care on my replaced iPhone (iPhone was replaced under apple care, transferred it to my partner) but when my partner went to add it, it didn’t work. Turns out the phones not actually considered new and once you cancel the apple care (say because you transferred your phone to your partner and want them to pay for apple care) you can’t get it back. Was told completely the wrong thing by the Genius Bar, called apple who refused to fix it because the phone was considered too old (despite it being new). While all this is going down I crack the screen of my iPhone because I’m a clutz (which is the reason I so desperately wanted apple care) so now I’m down $329 because someone at the Genius Bar told me the wrong thing. My advice: take everything they say with a grain of salt and triple check everything.

Horrible experience with the Genius Bar. I got a battery replaced and two weeks later the phone stop charging. I was told I was going to get the phone replaced and they will send me another phone. A week later I got a message saying that they will not replaced it unless I paid $319. Don’t trust anything they say and read every document they give you. It was a waste of money and time.

I am glad they are taking safety precautions during covid. Everyone I talked to at the Boulder location was very friendly including the guy checking us in outside the store.

This is the worst Apple Store Ive been to. The geniuses are incompetent and lack basic technical knowledge. I had a blatant hardware problem with my phone, scheduled a repair, and they wasted an hour telling me I needed to restore my phone and come back in a few days.They also claimed that they tested my IMU just by hitting a few buttons and not moving the phone at all. As someone who works in robotics, thats just stupid. Now I have an empty phone which will stay like that for another day, unless they come up with another bogus reason not to repair it.Update: After they repaired my phone, they left the screen sealant sticking out of the sides of the phone and used the wrong color screws. Brought it back a third time and finally got it fixed the right way.

I didn’t actually go to this location, however I still give it 5 stars since I called and was immediately helped by Maddie. She helped me with my order status and explained the pick up process. She was very helpful and with such big purchases it’s nice to know how the process goes during this time with the pandemic. I spoke with two employees and one manager while I was there. The employees were rude and very unhelpful. I bought a new iPhone but because my father is the primary person on our AT&T account, they wouldnt give me the phone that I purchased. I had the receipt for the phone, Im listed as an authorized user on our AT&T account and had my dad on the phone and they still insisted he had to be here. He lives in Austin, Texas. They made no effort to offer a solution, just kept repeating that he must be present until I finally got to speak with a manager. You could tell he did not want to be there but was able to help me find a solution and after an hour at the store, phone conversations with my father and AT&T, they gave me my $1200 phone that I PAID FOR. Really awful experience overall, will be taking the time to drive to Cherry Creek from now on.

Talked with 3 people, two salesperson and one manager. Lady salesperson who I talked with about Apple Watch was helpful, but salesperson who I bought my replacement iPad was not very good and while I was told on the phone my purchase qualified for free air buds, turns out that apple employee was wrong as u have to buy iPad Air. Manager would not honor the promotion, which was why I came to an Apple store and not Best Buy.Rush, rush, rush. They want u to buy their stuff and leave as quickly as possible. There is nothing Apple can do for u that Best Buy can’t, plus the service is so much friendlier and helpful at BB. If u like being treated poorly go to this Apple store, where the floor manager will hover over sales people making sure they r pushing products as rapidly as possible. Plus my iPad salesperson was not that knowledgeable. Save urself some grief and Go to Best Buy.

Horrible experience here- online it says they take walk ins, so I assumed I could walk in and buy a phone. when I arrived I was told all the “walk in appointments” are full- but if I ordered online It should be ready in about an hour. I ordered through the Apple store and when I went to the apple store I entered the info for my carrier (I share a family plan with family out of state) and for some reason the app shipped my phone cross country to where my family lives when I had clearly entered the information for the Boulder store and had selected it to be shipped there.When I realized what happened I was told there’s no way to change the pick up location and all they could do is refund me. I feel like in an effort to make sure I still got a phone from them, I was told the refund should clear immediately because the charge wouldn’t go through until you actually pick up the phone- the charge definitely cleared and posted to my account and three days later still no refund. I called and they said 3-5 business days but that’s not what I was told the day of purchase.They scheduled me an appointment to buy another phone at the Boulder store, I arrived 10 minutes early, they said due to regulations they couldn’t let me in until my exact time- totally understandable, but when I came back on time there was no one to see me for like 15 minutes at least . The guy that finally helped me was nice, at least. Still just a super disappointing experience overall, I should have just ordered through my carrier

I agree the employees seem aloof at first blush but theyre not. Give them a chance or as I like to remind myself, assume positive intent. Why would I do that? Its a more positive and pleasant way to go through life and better for my brain … is that enough? Should I add I usually get my problems dealt with pretty well but Ive also tried the basic fixes so we dont have to waste time with them.Im sure some of you complained about waiting? Since Ive usually gone through the basics Ive had to be bumped up to someone who knows more. Thats fine. Why wouldnt I want my problem fixed in as few appointments as possible? What good would it do to lash out at overworked staff?Its a nice store. I love the underground parking- anyone know the damage to the climate those hundreds of square miles of parking lots, built for Christmas shopping but empty most of the year do? Lets just say its a lot.

Probably top 5 worst retail experiences ever with this store. We called ahead and confirmed that we didnt need an appointment to buy a computer. When we showed up, the bouncer out front said wed have to wait 5 hours, and he wasnt sure why Apple said we could buy a computer. We were let into the store, but it was made clear that we couldnt buy anything. Despite 6 staff standing around a nearly empty store, the bouncer told the staff not to help us. We were ready to buy a Macbook Pro. This store is a joke, and the anti-thesis of the Apple brand.

I was 9 min late for an appointment and they canceled me, told me to call support and mail the computer off to Texas myself.. It was a 5 day wait. The only reason Im not giving 1 star is because of course I shouldve been on time but it was unavoidable...the logic board in my $4500 mac has already been replaced once, and the 2 year old computer needs a 3rd! As a filmmaker Ive been weening myself off Apple software and hardware, in step with the companys declining regard for pro users...looking forward to shorting Apple stock when the market crashes, lol

The system that they have in place is horrible. I can’t call the store itself. I couldn’t talk to anyone to see if they had the battery in stock. I live over 30 minutes away from the store. And when I tried to locate the store there was no way to call to try to find it for my appointment as it’s in a shopping mall. The white security guard with the blue line flag stripe hat was also super condescending and rude. Worst experience ever!!! Edit: Went to the Mac Shack instead!! They answered the phone and I even got a same day appointment. They were kind and my phone is good as new!

I purchased a new MacBook Pro and went to the store to pick it up the same day. The staff was very friendly and our associate (I’m sorry I can’t remember his name!) was extremely helpful and gave me info about how to trade in my old MacBook for credit that I didn’t know about prior to purchasing the new one. The only slight criticism I have is the items that are in stock at the store are limited, but I assume that’s due to the current pandemic.

Apple as a company is not customer centered, except in design, and this store has their bad customer service on full display. Their sales and customer service policies are much worse than competitors and walking into the store is like a terrible customer service phone call in person. Ive had to go to this store multiple times for things like a cracked screen on my kids phone or to make a purchase. In every visit over many years I could never just walk in for help. I had to make an appointment, and half the time I was sent away for something like the phone backup settings. I dont care if I lose everything on the phone, but to replace the screen they need it backed up, even though the screen should have nothing to do with storage unless something goes terribly wrong. Today I did an express pickup where I made a purchase online and then arrived to pick it up. I appreciate their many COVID precautions and they have a bank teller style setup with nobody allowed in store. However, they had up to three employees out front telling people to get in line and bouncing people without an appointment. Mostly those employees just sat there. What if those people just ran back and gave people their orders while they waited outside? There would be no line. Curbside pickup is a pretty popular option. Instead I waited in line for 30 minutes to make a one minute transaction when I got to the window. Apple subjects its devotees to abysmal customer service and the employees are forced to follow poor policies that makes these front line employees the enforcers of bad corporate policies. Boo Apple.

Five employees working doing nothing. I am the only customer. My phone is dead. Am there to buy a new battery. Told to make an appt. Sure. No problem except I cant call their 800 number because my phone and battery is dead. The employees would not make the appt. for me to buy and install a battery in the the store I am at and they are working at. Told me to go find someone else to make the call. Guess they enjoy the privilege of a paycheck without having to actually provide customer service. Went to Mac Shack and they took care of me on the spot. Impressed. It wasnt a hardship on them and they did it with a smile. Apple employees could benefit from customer service training from Mac Shack. It was quite surprising and disappointing to see how far Apple has degraded in their customer service.

Super Lame customer service. We bought two SE 64GB phones but they gave us 128GB phones and we unknowingly paid for them since when I questioned the higher charge the salesman told me --oh--thats the activation fee and taxes (it wasnt). So now were expected to come back to the store and hang out while they exchange sims and refund and re-purchase etc.....without any comp for our time? LAME---- stay away from here and buy online !

Worst shopping experience of my life. Went in for 2 Apple watches and was paired with a useless dolt for a sales advisor who had zero knowledge of the product. It was like pulling teeth to learn the difference between the types of casing and colors available. We wanted to try on the watches in person to make our purchasing decision, instead of buying online. There was no sales discovery and no help from the advisor. They did not have the ability to answer our questions about water resistance, heart/sleep monitoring etc. At one point our advisor left to go talk to someone else yet we were not allowed to leave where we were standing to go look at watch bands- hello- why did our advisor disappear when we are still asking questions/shopping? Another advisor chimed in with unprompted and useless feedback concerning cellular data plans on the watch. The experience was very disappointing, especially since the website isn’t offering a clear experience in the product either. Additionally, we needed another product that was out of stock... unsure if it actually was or if our advisor was not proactive. Wish I could have my 20 minutes back.

You get bad reviews because this store doesn’t seem to improve. The employees continue to be snotty and the process often feels convoluted, all to buy a very expensive product. With prices like this, I expect good customer service + getting each one of my needs met (or on the path to met). Instead I show up to meet Ben, who talks down to me + condescendingly explains how to use my own iPad. It’s 90% the people who work here + a lack of customer service Skills. Apple devices practically sell themselves at this point, so having somebody calm, respectful, and aware of my needs is at least appreciated when spending 1k on a rectangle.

She bended my iPad by roughly pull it out from a hard case and won’t admit what she did, and the store manager not denied what’s happening also refuse provide the monitor record, he just told me that Chelsea already told me the iPad got bended after she pull off the case and bended the iPad, so They won’t cover the repair fee

Worst shopping experience. Told to order online, make an appointment to pick up in the Express Line. Come back to stand in the Express pick up line for 20 minutes. (its a 15 minute window) Then found out that my order was not even ready and they wouldnt even know when my two items could be ready. If this was a restaurant, they would be out of business for terrible service.Plus, It is really cold in the shade. Bring a parka.

Wesley and jef were so kind and generous to take me without an appointment. I just had a horrible experience at the flatiron apple store and Wesley (the manager) at the Boulder store took the time to hear me out. He was fully attentive, warm and caring. Within 25 minutes I was able to see Jef who helped me fixMy phone after running a diagnostic on it which literally took 2 minutes or so. We found out what the problem was and I updated my phone and now it is fully functional. They are really caring dudes over there and really live up to the Apple name. Will only go to them from here on out.

Two stars only because I got decent service in the past. But recently I went there for a new battery in my iPhone and they had five people outside the store chasing customers away by saying they can’t fix your phone now. It would be nice if two or three of those people could be actually fixing phones. They told me to come back in a week. Then I went to Batteries+Bulbs and they installed a new battery for me in about 90 minutes. Kudos to Batteries+Bulbs. Not so much for Apple.

First off, the products that they make are out of this world, second every employee there is super helpful and can pretty much fix anything, and third, the stores that Apple has have a nice layout and it is easy to find things. You can also test each product and compare devices to see what you like best.

Ive spent well over $14,000 on apple computers in the past 3 years, and have seen nothing but poor support and devices that dont work. I even paid $8k for the latest model last year, and less than a year in and I have an $8k paperweight. This is the closest store which is a 4 hour round trip, and when I get to the store they say they cant take my computer, when support said to bring it in. You waste my time, money and patience... We walked in on a Wednesday afternoon to look at an IPhone and possibly purchase it. We were given a 15 minute wait time, which already gives me a sense for how valuable they think I am as a customer. Waited 20 minutes, and asked and they said we were next. Most times I come in, I leave feeling like the Apple employee was looking down on me or that they didn’t hear what I was saying accurately. The geniuses are great and always very friendly, but the sales staff has become fairly rude over the last 2 years. They have made comments suggesting that I don’t understand my laptop or the same iPhone I’ve used for years, when they just didn’t take the time to listen to me and understand my problem in the same way the geniuses do. This is not all salespeople, but there is definitely a feeling of snobbery at this specific location that makes me want to do my business online / at another location.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, I bought my son an iWatch hed wanted desperately for a long time. I confirmed THREE TIMES with the salesman that the iWatch would work WITHOUT OWNING an iPhone with current service. He said THREE TIMES yes the watch will work, you just need an iPhone with current service if you want to make calls on the watch, which we didnt. Turns out the salesman was wrong, clueless about the $400 watch he sold us, mis-informed us, told us we could only be inside the store for 15 minutes because of covid, which makes no sense. We got home, couldnt activate the watch because we dont have current iPhone service!!! I called the phone number published for the store and I got a customer service agent overseas who didnt speak English and had such a thick accent I couldnt understand anything he said. I insisted on speaking with someone at the stores so he transferred me to Apple customer service I was on hold with them forever they finally agreed to put me through to the store and connect me. I then waited on hold another 20 minutes while they got through to the store. I spoke with a salesman at the store who said I have no idea if thats true or not so I ask to speak to a manager waited on hold again and the manager didnt know the answer to the question either he had to go research it. He then told me I could return the phone by mail and Apple customer service would send me a Box to mail it back in period Apple customer service said thats ridiculous we never do that we only send boxes for Apple watch repairs not returns. What a waste of 4 hours and how awful to have a disappointed child who had waited so long. This store, and quite frankly this products customer service is appalling. I cant believe no one who works there understands how the watch works, its insane, doing business there will drive you crazy BEWARE

The staff here was very friendly. My computer suddenly stopped letting me log in and I was very worried as I needed that laptop for school. The employees I talked to were all very kind and patient. They answered my thousands of questions respectfully. I would definitely go back to this store.

Awhile back I was very seriously considering dropping my very hard earned and long saved 3k on a Mac book, I went in this store to look at a few and ask a few questions with my savings in wallet and a readiness in mind to buy. All I can say without going into paragraphs was I walked out without one and felt very unwelcome. One employee in particular was very snooty and the other seemed to be hugely inconvenienced by my few simple questions I had before making such a large purchase. There is plenty of other BS from apple lately but this was the straw that broke my back on it. Needless to say I won’t be returning.

I went to this store mid June 2020 to inquire about a new computer and get my iPhone 11 Pro fixed. I had to get an appointment for my phone, essentially 2 weeks later, given COVID, I understood. I waited, they needed to swap out my phone, this is where I point blank asked the girl, “Am I getting a new phone or is this thing refurbished?” She responded with something to the effect, “we don’t give out refurbished phones anymore, we used to, but this one is new”. Here we are 3 days later, my “new” phone won’t hold a charge, and I am forced to order a replacement via Apple because the next appointment is 5 days away, and I can’t wait as I’m traveling out of town before that. I also want to say, I really did not have a good experience when getting this phone, they rushed to get me out of the store before it ever had a chance to download anything, so it really didn’t work. The phone didn’t charge when I got to the car, and so I went back to the store while I was still there, and they got it to charge so they said it must be my car. Um ok, well that’s not likely, but ok maybe...This along with the fact that the phone came dead out of their box, should have tipped me off. If they tell you it’s brand new, check the serial number, if it starts with an “F” it’s refurbished.

I am surprised at some of the low ratings here. I just returned from this store after my iPhone 6s appeared to have died. One of the guys at the Genius Bar diagnosed it immediately and 30 minutes later I was on my way home. I am VERY happy!

Excellent customer service! I bought a brand new iPhone 8 plus from Verizon and it was a dud from the beginning. Verizon would have replaced with a refurbished phone. After taking a look and doing some diagnostics. They took care of the issues and I have the new working iPhone I had intended on purchasing in the first place. Even during an exceptionally busy time, the service was friendly and knowledgeable. Worth the trip from Fort Collins!

There’s a reason this store has so many 1 star reviews. I’m a long time apple user and this is easily the slowest store I’ve ever been to, even for being in a “college town”. The store wasn’t even busy for an Apple store and the waits were long. And as a bonus I got to wait another 20minutes after my pickup time to get my phone. I will not be going back to this store.

If you immediately buy something they might help you. I went in asking for a very specific product and they pointed me to the wrong thing!My mother went in for help on her iPhone and they couldn’t do anything besides transfer her from one sales man to another on a regulated basis. If they knew what they were talking about it might have worked.I absolutely despise this store. I like Apple products but this store is trash. The salesman don’t even know what they are talking about. They don’t know a 9.7 from a pro. WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER!

My first time inside this Apple Store. Went to buy Air Pods for my daughters birthday gift. All staff were friendly. Rich was quite knowledgeable and very patient with all the questions I had about Air Pods. From what I was told, its the busiest Apple store in the area but then again its the only Apple store in the area! We drove over 2 hours to get there and because of the pandemic restrictions we were prepared to have to wait. The young gal met us outside was very polite and courteous and surprisingly had us indoors to her area within 10 mins at the most this also included the security guard and our temp check.We were there to purchase a MacBook Air for my daughters 16th bday.We were thoroughly educated on what we were purchasing and the options available in each model. We were so impressed with her product knowledge and services we decided to splurge on the way out for my bday gift as well and bought a Series 5 Apple Watch since mine was a Series 3. I don’t recall her name and it’s not on my receipts but it was well worth the drive and time. Will go back there again even if a closer store is open in the future. 😊

Making a genius bar appointment through the system is ridiculous! no direct way to do it - its like a scavenger hunt every time you need support. And chances are, youre already frustrated by something that isnt working. For all the credit apple gets for providing support, they are HORRIBLE at making it accessible.
