Took my Timex Ironman Watch in for a new battery. He didnt tell me until after hed replaced the battery that it needed a new gasket, which he didnt have available. Said it would be al] right, but to put under incandescent light if it got water in it. Didnt last 1 second during my swim. He was closed for the next 5 days, so I took it to a real jeweler in Boulder City. The jeweler told me the Pot of Gold owner had put in the wrong battery, too thick. on top of not telling me he didnt have a gasket before did the work. When I went in with the watch after he returned 5 days later, he denied putting the wrong battery in ( I have the opening of the watch on video) and said the watch was wet when I brought it in. This is a complete untruth, as it was dry and fully functioning, simply showed signs of needing new battery. The battery he put in was too thick for the watch. So he ruined a watch Id barely had a year.
