The technician was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the whole process to me. He showed me the problem areas and told me what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised at the high level of customer service that was provided with the extermination services. He is definitely an asset to your organization.

9/9/21 Update: Emailed the support response two weeks ago and never heard back - typical, thanks for confirming our initial review.August 2021: No call, no show, no communication, no billing. Their technicians dont respond to phone calls or texts. Their office is beyond disorganized and unable to locate active accounts. Cant provide any information when asked. Our commercial account manager avoids her job, doesnt respond, ignores emails, and after demanding a response we get an immature snot nosed answer that didnt resolve the original issue and youre left hanging. You have to do Terminixs job for them and they refuse to apologize. Terminix actually told us in writing that they cannot guarantee our monthly service and well get to you if we get to you. Bye Terminix, youve been the most unprofessional nightmare to deal with.
I called a few months back to have our ant and moth problem dealt with. They charged me upfront and told me that it would take them a few weeks to solve my issue because ants are hard to deal with. When they finally got around to coming out the exterminator told me that for the first week or two the problem would get worse before it got better because of the technique they use. He said there was no mention of a moth problem and because of that he did not have the proper things to deal with it. The ant problem did indeed get worse and a few weeks later I had them come out again. This time he set up bait for the ants and moths but did not do much more than that, no treatment whatsoever! I have tried calling the last 2 weeks nearly every day to get ahold of someone to ask what is going on but it seems that they are very understaffed and I only got on the phone 1 time with a real person. At that point I was absolutely fed up and asked for a refund. Finally when I was transferred to the billing department I was assured that a manager would call me back in a few business days but I have still yet to receive that call. I absolutely do not recommend you use Terminex, it was a disappointing experience especially after they pride themselves on being the best pest control company out there!
Ted showed up on time and offered various solutions to solve multiple problems around our home. Ted went above and beyond to thoroughly inspect all areas of our home and get us the best possible value with Terminix services. Ted is a valued employee of Terminix and a wealth of knowledge.

We have been a Terminix customer since 2004. While there has been lots of turnover with our service person over the years, they were always communicative and addressed any issues we have had, until now. I have called to schedule an inspection 3 times and been ghosted for every appointment. The manager is unable to pick up a phone to call me and address the issue so today I am canceling our service with Terminix and will be moving on to a new pest control company. I can no longer in good conscious recommend this company.
Fast, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, prompt, and thorough. Inspected and serviced our crawlspace with cleaning, disinfecting, removing old vapor barrier, installing new vapor barrier, installing floor insulation, and constring a crawlspace door. Later, a technician came to spray for pests - ants, and spiders.
Friendly and very professional, gets the job done quickly. Weve been on a schedule for a long time and we dont have to even think about it because Terminix is taking care of us.
We have used Terminix for years, and most recently Deshawn Watts provided an exclusion service. He was thorough and professional, courteous and efficient.
Terminix has been protecting our home for a couple of years........we have many trees on our property, which has made it easy for critters to love our home. Terminix keeps the ants and spiders out of our house. Justin is a great Tech. Always does a good job for us.

When I first set up the service, I was given the appointment time of Tuesday from 1-5. Tuesday came but Terminex did not. I called and spoke with a rep named Ashley. She assured me that someone one from management would contact me regarding this. They never did. Chris then came on Friday (3 days after original appt) and did a great job. He said he had nothing to do with scheduling so it was not him who changed my appointment without letting me know. I am very happy with Chris, but not so much with parts of Terminex Corp. I may switch to a different service because of the poor communication.Mike Hogenson
They do a good job at keeping the spiders away and if I have any concern in between service they are quick to respond.
It a bit pricey, but service is exceptional. I dont like that cancelling is so hard - you have to call in. I wish it was just an easy one-click process on my account page online, as with so many other online account dashboards.
No call, no show. Cant be more unprofessional than that. Why bother making an appt if they not only dont show up within the two hour window that was scheduled, but dont show up at all. Didnt even get the slight courtesy of a phone call to let me know they couldnt make it or needed to reschedule. Straight ghosted.

I seldom recommend anything to friends, family, or neighbors, however, my neighbor did ask who and what I used for pest control and who and what they were spraying for this past week. I told her Terminix for both and so far I was happy. This is my first experience with Terminix and it has only been a few months. My ant situation is under control in the house. The mosquito situation is definitely improved and with this last spraying I think it will be gone.Both technician are great! Very responsive, always let you know when they are coming, and always either contact you directly or send a followup report.I like the newsletters I receive from Terminix...lots of good information. I cant talk about Good Value since I have only used Terminix for these issues.
Service and technicians are great. But communication from the call center to my local office is ridiculous! Shouldnt have to wait weeks for call back or no call back at all. Ive worked call centers before for an insurance company and their turnaround time was fantastic.

Our routine service with Terminix is great, but that is the only positive thing I can say about them.Last week I tried calling Terminix for a rodent inspection. Every call got dropped, so I used the chat function online. I was given an appointment for the next day, Thursday Nov. 5th from 8-10am. Nobody showed up. I called back and finally got a live person who rescheduled me for Monday, today, Nov. 9th from 8-10am. She assured me someone would show up and she gave me her employee number (97795). Again, we waited today and nobody showed up. I called the Seattle location and spoke to Steven. He said we were not on the schedule for today. He left voice mail with two supervisors on our behalf. Then he saw that the technician, Theodore, said that we turned down the inspection at 8:10am today, which is a flat out lie. We have had no communication with Theodore. Steven rescheduled us for the 3rd time for tomorrow. In the meantime I am emailing the branch manager, Will Clark, and hoping for some answers. There is no excuse for any of this to have happened, much less repeatedly.

I have never had a problem with the service. I have always had excellent professionals. That said, I am not happy with the attempts to communicate in order to get rid of some stink bugs.I read online that Terminix Bothel, WA was open 24 hours a day! I was surprised, but happy. Then I had to go through 5 minutes of robot talk only to be told that they would connect me to an agent and then.... instead of a person..... I got a recording that said they were only open during regular business hours. OMG!!!!! I had tried to call one day last week and was on a hold for over 15 minutes and had to hang up. The good guys who come to my house, wearing the Terminix shirts, need better support from their company so the clients dont cancel their contracts out of frustration. !
We are always provided a list of all the services that were performed. Its a pretty long list, some of which were not listed here. We are especially pleased with our service technician, Andrew Serles.
We saw immediate results and we are thrilled. We had been under siege for a year and half by sugar ants as well as, grease loving ants. In March of this year, they were dropping out of ceiling and into anything I was preparing for our meals. They were everywhere. We tried various over the counter ant poison to no avail. We finally surrendered and called Terminix. It took a week before we notice dead ants everywhere. The conclusion...., we really appreciate the relief. We’ll have to update this note later, just to let others know if this treatment continued working. Thank you Terminix for eliminating those pesky ants.
Terrible customer service! The communication is awful. There have been multiple occasions where I did not receive an appointment notification. The technician would just show up. On one occasion I attempted to book an exclusion follow up service through the 800 number and the rep on the phone booked a different/standard appointment. I waited over a week and when the guy showed up he said he doesnt do what I called about and he would have to book me the correct appointment through his boss, which resulted in me waiting even longer. Ive attempted to contact local management several times to express my concerns and never received a call back. I did receive a notification prior to my last appointment (roughly a month prior to this post) but the tech was over 40 minutes late and never called. I attempted to call him to find out if he was still coming but he wouldnt answer, probably because he knew I would be upset. Lastly, just a hour before this post, I called the 800 number in an attempt to cancel my service, was put on hold by the rep while she noted the account and after sitting on hold for over ten minutes I was hung up on and had to start the process all over again. Do yourself a favor and go with a different service for your pest control needs. Terminix, just like their customer service, is garbage.

Crawl space had rats in it due to two gaps on our patio corners. They cleaned out entire crawl space—- plastic, insulation, carcasses of rats & replaced all with new materials. Years later we are rodent-free!
If you schedule something with them, theyll just cancel it and not even tell you.Complete waste of time. Very unprofessional.👎
A company modeled off the pest control department from Parks & Recreation.Terminix sent someone to give me a quote on bird removal in June- I never heard back from that technician, so I called, was told that the office would reach out to the technician, but we must give him 1 business day to get back to me. Nothing happened. I called back and was told the exact same thing, but that this time because I had called twice, they would “escalate” if the technician didn’t get back to me, and I was assured that the office would give me a call whether the technician called or not to check up on me. Nothing happened again. I just called back one last time and gave up after 20 minutes on hold. Unbelievably bad service and massive waste of time.

We have used Terminix for years and have been very happy with the service.
I am a long time customer and until now have, in general been satisfied with Terminix. However, in the last month, having been concerned with possible ant/termite activity in my deck, I have now contacted the company FOUR times to send someone out to inspect and recommend any required action. Each time an appt. was set up and each time resulted in a NO SHOW / NO CALL. There seems to be a total disconnect between the centralized scheduling operation and the local office that does the work. Further the local office does not answer its phone. It is RIDICULOUS!!!! In the course of this, I have requested to speak to a scheduling supervisor. Needless to say that call back never happened. So, at this point I intend to go camp out at the local office. Did I say that this is RIDICULOUS!!!!
Horrible service. I cancelled before they even came out. My card was charged for more than what I was quoted. They sent me a 1 yr contract eventhough I told them I only want a 1 time service. I had to call back 4 times to ask them to correct it and every rep would give me a different story. Finally got tiered of them and cancelled.
I was told a Terminix person would be at my home between 8-10 this morning -- no one showed. I called two hours ago to explain the situation and was assured someone would call me back right away. Still no phone call, and now Im on hold after calling them again. I was just informed by the customer service rep that she cant get in touch with anyone in my area. I told her that I will be searching for another company.
With Terminex you can keep the bugs at bay and from getting inside. I’ve had Terminex for years and Chris is my tech and he is thorough and really cares about keeping your home free of bugs coming inside. He communicates before and after each service. I would never be without Terminex protecting my home.

I’m so happy with the work your guys did for me. They cleaned out my attic and crawl space. It was no easy task and it was really hot the days they were here working. The guys were very professional and did awesome work. Destry was the first guy over to go over the process and he did awesome explaining what needed to be done. The cost to have the work done was so worth it too.
Do not use Terminix if you live in Bothell. If you have any issues you will need to talk with the national call center (current hold times are 45+ minutes on average). If the national call center rep is unable to assist you will be told that the local branch will call you back which unfortunately never happens. Terminix will also not stand behind their satisfaction guarantee and you have no recourse to resolve the issue due to the local branch not calling back.
WHEN I NEED AN EXTRA VISIT BETWEEN REGULAR SERVICE I CAN CALL AND THE SERVICE MAN COMES WITH NO CHARGE. I TRUST HIM AND WELCOME HIS EXPERTISE.
I concur with other reviewers with scheduling issues. We scheduled a meeting on a Saturday 8am-12pm. We waited like fools till 1pm before calling their headquarters. They said they will call us back, nothing, nada, no word from them. Wasted my Saturday Morning waiting for them. Im incredulous as to how they have a near 5 star review here, if you look on yelp it will show a different store.
I have recommended Terminex to several new neighbors because of the positive experiences I have had with technician John Douglas over the last decade. He is always helpful if I have questions during his quarterly visit. He is also very responsive if we need emergency service, such as removing a wasp nest. He is a great ambassador for your company.
Despite securing two appointments, I couldnt get them to show up. I had an online time for 5-2-20. The guy sent a text to the phone number and since it was a landline, I never got it so he decided not to show up. On 5-5, my next appt, I called the Bothell office to confirm time since no one showed up. They transferred the call to Service and after waiting 30 minutes I called Bothell back. They again transferred me to Service and after 10 minutes I hung up. I called the National number and within a few minutes I got a live person. He tried to contact the guy who was supposed to come out, but that guy never answered. Ill go to Orkin next. I get this is Covid time, however their Please Hold has a message from their CEO that they are an essential business, are here for and value their customers. Huh.

My Tech Kyle with Terminix makes this contract a keeper. He is the best at searching out sources of pest issues. He searches on his hands and knees even to check under the house or the attic. I know that when Kyle has finished the service that I am in good shape to keep pests under control. He will even suggest a follow up visit if needed to check any issue he has identified. For 2+ years I have put my faith in Terminix and Kyle has never let me down. A+ Kyle!!

They no called, no showed. This happened before but we tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and try again.Last time when they finally came the service was fine. Technician was not reachable after several tries by headquarters.Jokes on us and kiddo has to avoid waspy play area in the back yard.

One of my neighbors wanted me to write this review as she does not use the internet. I told her that when one is happy with a service they should tell everyone, especially because we live in a thankless society. So this is in her words what Terminix has done for her:I have been using pest control service for 23 years after discovering an ant problem. No one has gotten the ant problem under control. I have lived in my home a total of 52 years. I went with several companies. The last company got bought out by Terminix, I was prepared to cancel my service as I have had Terminix in the past and was not impressed. A tech named Don, came out to my house in North Seattle. He took all the items out of my cupboard and put a product inside my cabinets, he then took all the plates off the light switches and treated there. Finally he treated my doors and baseboards. This is the first time in 23 years, I am ant free! If any of you ever get Don from Terminix inside your home, you will see results! Thank you Terminix for training to be better than what they were! I will continue to say good things about your service, I have not seen an ant in 2 months inside my kitchen! I am happy!
I am very pleased with the promptness, professionalism and courtesy of my technician, Curtis, that recently came out.He explained everything he was doing so that I could understand why he was doing certain things. We even had some small talk while he was working.I have not had another ant issue since he arrived, right on time I want to add.

Safe Shield was a great pest control company but since they were conglomerated by Terminix, its all gone downhill. I finally terminated Terminix effective yesterday due to the following couple of events in the past few months: last January a Terminix technician just showed up at our house to do our service with no prior appointment notification (phone message or text) and last Monday I had a 1-5pm appointment window and nobody even showed up period. That was the last straw. Goodbye Terminix.
For us the Terminix service has been ideal. We do not need to be home the house is simply protected on schedule as needed. We receive a report indicating any possible concerns otherwise it simply works!

Terrible customer service. They came for a rodent inspection, gave me a pricey quote of over $2,200, and told me they would call within a day or two to schedule service. No one called and I had to contact them myself to make the appointment. It was scheduled for 8:00 today so I arranged to be at home. They called me 5 minutes before they were supposed to be here and told me they needed to reschedule for 1:00 or 2:00. Now Im stuck here all day. I regret signing their contract and wish I had called someone else.
I chose Terminix because they notify me before the appt, then notify me after the appt. They then send me the report of what was done on the appt.Just what I wanted!
Terminix always does a great job. The technicians are professional and friendly. In fact, weve never had a technician that didnt do a great job, and weve been customers for many, many years. Kyle, our current technician is awesome! After Terminix did a clean-out of our crawlspace, plugged all the holes there, and put down new plastic, weve had a lot less problems with rats and mice underneath our house. Theyve also tackled the problem wed been having with moisture ants. (They are persistent little buggers!)
Curtis is a great technician and treats our house like his own. He is always polite to me, sweet to the dog, listens to our concerns and most importantly when we had someone snooping around the house while he was here he called me and helped chase the guy away!
We have had fabulous service from Terminix. They text before they arrive, and then, when they are leaving, they text me a report. We have been very happy with their service, and especially Justin!
Called to make an appointment and agreed on a day and time that worked and was pleased with how soon they could come out. Then receive a text message from them a day later saying they could come out a week later at a time that would not work for me. What is the point in scheduling an appointment over the phone, if they have no intention to sticking to it?
My experience after being a customer for 12 years has ended. Recently I had an infestation of ants. I called the Bothell office which is where my service is based. Apparently there is a central call center which handles everything. After trying for two weeks to contact my service technician, I have cancelled my contract.I have contracted with a new service who pointed out to me several issues that Terminix had not been keeping up with. For Example: cleaning off spider webs and cobwebs from doorways, pulling out mouse traps that were full of mice. Looking for places of entry for both mice and ants.I tried to contact the manager of the local office as well as my service tech, I spoke to supervisors at the call center etc. I never received a call back from the local office. i question the authenticity of the reviews that have been posted. There is no way to speak to a local person under this situation where the telephone calls are going to a service center.
The Service Technicians always call ahead to remind us that they will be here for service. All the service technicians that have been out to our home have been very helpful and professional.
Did not show up; although I took the day off work to be here. The guy said he would be able to come the following day in the morning - but I have a job and I cant take two days off in a row. For 2 years we had large black ants living inside a post that was attached to our home and occasionally smaller black ants in the house. Shortly after calling Terminex the ants have not been seen for all the years we have used them. Their employees are always courteous and professional and its been easy to deal with customer service when I have had questions.
