I waited five minutes for the ONE guy working there to help me but instead he helped the last customer load the equipment into his car. It was nice of him so I stood patiently. Then, he tells me the computer system is locked up. He tries another computer. It doesnt work either. He says that whenever business is heavy, the system crashes. Im the only guy in there. We wait, he clarifies after calling another store, the ENTIRE COUNTRY is down because Home Depot cant run a computer system and it happens all the time. Now we have 4 groups in the store, all trying to rent. I leave for 20 minutes. I return and still, no computer system, no rentals. How pathetic. They have a persistent problem and are not fixing it. I have to give it one star to post, but 0 is what it deserves.
Pretty frustrating to wait 30 min + with a line out the door because nobody at the counter. When help did come, they were nice and apologetic, but could use a better system if help is needed
Pretty busy, and some of the employees were not the best. Lots of tools, and not a lot of other options for rentals in the area so, if they have what you want then its good enough.

As a business owner and someone who takes immense pride in my employee’s customer services, I stopped on by Home Depot to get an extra set of keys made. I, of course, ended up with my hands full of other items. Emily, not only took everything out of my hands to help me carry all my items, she went out of her way to grab me a cart, made my keys, AND checked me out. She’s a class act and I wish I could steal her away from her day job to come work for me. We need more Emilys in the world.
It was fast but they didnt know what they had available I had to go there and find it for them to rent texture sprayer
Is very geared towards contractors. The service was really good and the equipment was in really good shape. I rented a trailer from them on a couple of occasions for movement of household items and it worked out just great.Again I rented a trailer. The only reason I dont give him a 5 is that the equipment offered its just not big enough. Its a Home Depot issue not a particular store problem or staff problem. It took me two trips instead of one because their biggest trailer is just not big enough.
Dont ignore the negative reviews. I took a day off to do the work. The tool did not function. Went back and was told it would be repaired in 5 minutes. Took 1 hour. I watched the guy try to undo a hex bolt with a screw driver......went back home and the tool had other major issues. Return to the store for a refund. They laghed and made jokes. They were also rude. The guy was unhappy he had to put out his sigarette and come help me.
Over the top service. Sam in the appliance department went way above the call on service. I was buying a dryer a d needed to rent a truck to haul it. It took linger to retrieve the dryer and Sam made it a point to talk to the rental department and got my time restarted after I got my dryer loaded. Thank you Sam it was great to meet and talk with you.
Went there on a Sunday to rent a gas powered hedge trimmer they started the process of getting my rental ready then informed me they had no gas to put into the trimmer. Said to try to come back the next day but could not give me a definitive time of when they would have gas available for their gas powered tools.
I like this store. Things are laid out in a sensible manner and are easy to find. The staff is very helpful and I feel like they really try to met my needs. Heavens knows they are very patient with me when I have to come in with my children. Ive used their online services, flooring and appliance instillation, and tool rentals. Any time Ive had an issues they have quickly resolved the problem. Someone always says hello to me. This store works hard to bring costumers back.The one lost start is because they are out of products I need and that it is frustrating.
Rented me a defective pressure washer and then YELLED AT ME for taking too long to return it! Unbelievable! In all my life Ive never been yelled at in retail. They implied that I was lying, and also tried to charge me for the rental, despite the fact that it never worked at all. No apology for the defective rental, for my wasted Sunday, or for the fact that I was yelled at. This place has gone steadily downhill, employee morale is clearly bad enough that they feel the need to vent their frustration on customers. Seriously, avoid like the plague, unless you enjoy wasting your time and being mistreated.
Sounded unprofessional and rude (and that was the manager...). Not much curtesy. I do not recommend.
My first time renting a tool at HD, very poor experience. The charged me 10% insurance without asking me, the tool was substandard and in poor condition. It did not do the job as promised, no refund or discount was offered when I told them. I am out nearly $100 and lots of time, I still have an unfinished job.
We spoke to them multiple times about a mini skid steer and confirmed that it was available for rent.After calling to see if we needed to provide a credit card to hold it and confirming the required hitch ball size we then rented a truck to tow the trailer.My wife waited quite a while at the counter only to find out that the equipment was not available for hire.Thanks for wasting our time.
